Well, for one, I know that Elon is a 'a player'. And I saw the easy with which the Twitter buyout went through. There had to be huge Street influence and The Money Power behind it. The buyout was 'a miracle' to behold. It was my first big clue that the Apex Money and The Street are scared to death at the prospect of the radicals taking over of the state/empire ... with them pushed to the side with their pockets emptied out.
I see the 'enemy of my enemy' thing the same way as you. Now here's an idea, that they all are controlled opposition (mostly, but from different sides of the street). And with the objective of the Apex Controllers, the very top of the power structure, being not to have any one given faction (lower order power nexus) take over the Company Store and run it themselves. This suggest that the greater game is always a struggle to maintain in balances of power ... with no one group ever gaining absolute power and control (because absolute orchestration, that is only for the Apex Money).
What it is always about is holding on to money and getting more, which translates over into who controls, does what ... and how to get there. This is the world of puppets and puppet masters. The puppets do have a measure of autonomy, but only within boundaries. And people who cannot be controlled either get pushed to the side, or in extreme cases liquidated.
But the problem is that in order to get rid of an oligarchy that has so much money power, you need to fight it with the same kind of person with money power. There is no way anyone other than people like Musk or Trump could do it. I believe they both intend to give power back to the people. Gladiators. I am on the fence about the whole Elon white hat/black hat thing but it has ZERO impact on my day to day life. I am getting frustrated with those whose daily routine includes a dose of black pills. It seems that one of side effect of such pills is not actually DOING anything to counter the negative. Doom is the easy button as it absolves you from action.

You can never just enjoy the moment and be thankful for the small bits of grace in life. Everything is some twisted plot, everything has some awful hidden aspect that only you can see. Your own lives are miserable so you have constructed these elaborate absurd schemes to explain how everything is beyond your control. That way your own failures in life aren't your fault.
I'm grateful for what Musk is doing and recognize that while there are plenty of bad actors out there, Elon probably isn't one of them. No, I don't want him as my pastor. But I can separate my emotions from rational thought and recognize I'd much rather have him on our side in this fight than not.

I will add this though, for those of you stuck in the doom loop it's not to late to change. Please think about it. Yes there are plenty of bad actors as made obvious by their actions (Fauchi springs to mind) but not everyone is one. Doomerism is just a form of self-pity; poor me, all is lost, everything is against me, blah, blah, blah. And self-pity is a really ugly emotion as it traps people in their brokenness. I am on the fence about the whole Elon white hat/black hat thing but it has ZERO impact on my day to day life. I am getting frustrated with those whose daily routine includes a dose of black pills. It seems that one of side effect of such pills is not actually DOING anything to counter the negative. Doom is the easy button as it absolves you from action.
I get black pills slipped in my coffee from time to time but do my level best to focus on November and steps I can take to help good candidates get elected. Maybe it's all in vain but I will go down fighting, not arm chair quarterbacking.

IMO, the real reason for the genuinely black-pilled people (as opposed to trolls) is simple: it makes them feel better. It takes away the gray areas and the uncertainty. It's oddly comforting to think there is some shady cabal that has control over every last detail of everything, plays "4D chess" (I saw "5D chess" used the other day, LOL), and has every possible angle covered, with no possible escape.
That's more comforting for some than to have to admit that there is great uncertainty, the future is not decided or known, our actions matter, God's or fate's whims matter, random crazy people can come out of seemingly nowhere and cause havoc and destruction.

I have not. When I was on old Twitter, I saw that they had a way to detect at least some of the people who did that, and when they detected it, they nuked their accounts. I am not a techie person, and on top of that I'm a stubborn person whose sense of righteousness says that I shouldn't have to set up a new account or delete my 'offending' tweet, so I'm still just waiting (and spending that much less time looking at a screen, so in a way it's good for me).
I opened another account with a different email on my desktop. Mainly because it was easier since I had forgotten my old username and password 🤣😂🤣
