I know I already posted and this is off topic, but this being Memorial Day weekend, I wanted to share my memories of a veteran who just left this material world.
I only met "Mr. Percy" once. He came to my store to get help. I came to the car because at age 94, it was hard for him to come in. He had a hat on indicating he was a Korean War veteran. As I always do, I thanked him for his service and told him I was grateful. He thanked me. We talked for a bit and he said we did not treat veterans well in this country and I said I agreed 100%. We don't.
I called a few days later to tell him I had ordered his items with the ETA, but his daughter answered and said he was in the hospital. I could hear Mr. Percy talking in the background. I said never mind and call me when it was convenient, no rush, and that I hoped he felt better very soon.
I came into work after the weekend and my coworker told me he had transitioned. I started crying and it took a long time to get calm enough to call his daughter and offer my condolences. You might think it's silly to mourn over a person I met once, but I did and I am. Obviously he served our country well and I hope wherever he is now that he is at peace, free from material pain and suffering, and that he has been reunited with whomever he may have been missing. Our world just lost another good person and that makes me sad.
Rest in peace, Soldier. You will not be forgotten.
My neighbor's 50 year old daughter had pain and went to the doctor. Her doctor said she needed her gallbladder removed. During surgery they found widespread cancer and told her there was nothing they could do for her and that she had 2 weeks to live. She went for a second opinion...was told the same thing. She was dead in 2 weeks.
I do not know if daughter was vaxxed....I know that my neighbor is. The daughter had no other signs of cancer besides some pain which prompted her to see her doctor.
My 40 year old friend....3+ times vaxxed...was diagnosed 6 months ago with breast cancer; has had a double mastectomy. She's also always up-to-date on all health-related things....mammograms, physicals. etc. The breast with cancer had 2 spots in opposite parts of the breast. Pre-cancerous cells were found in the "good" breast...so she's glad she had the double mastectomy.
As a side note, she's been thru a lot with the double mastectomies....pain, drainage tubes, etc. She said she had no idea it would be so much. She's an athletic, healthy lady. I cannot imagine kids going thru this surgery to change their sex.

Jeff, life insurance payouts hold the key to proof of all cause mortality increases. My friend has worked for Northwestern Mutual for 30+ years. NWM released the 2020 death payout info and there was no increase in death benefit payouts in 2020. For the first time in the over 30 yrs my friend has worked there, he reports that NWM has not released the death payouts for 2021 and 2022. Either the government is threatening these insurance companies to withhold that data, or they are being paid off by someone to keep it quiet. Very telling. Lawyers need to be investigating this.
