“The Chosen” series has been so moving, emotional, and thrilling to watch. I’ve watched all 24 episodes (season 1, 2, & 3… with season 4 in production) five times and it never gets old. I pick up on subtle & meaningful lines that I missed before, with each viewing. And I still cry and laugh and feel great joy with each viewing of The Chosen.

It’s free, and using the Chosen’s app is easy to access, although it is shown in other venues as well. The actors, dialogue, and sets cannot be praised highly enough. First class all the way. It stays true to Scripture, however, the back stories of the characters are fictional yet great care taken to not conflict with Scripture. The creator of The Chosen, Dallas Jenkins, funds production through crowd sourcing.

Nice to see a fellow fan! 😁

I plan to watch the aftershows as I get to season 3 again. I’ve watched most everything else I think.

Yes, the waiting is hard! That’s why I’m rewatching to help with the waiting and to learn more and pick up on things I didn’t the first time around.

I would love for them to do the Acts of the Apostles! It would be very inspiring I think!

I believe this is helping spread the good news around the world to a world in desperate need of saving. It’s happening at the right time when the potential harvest is abundant.

You are welcome Dee Dee. Although I liked Jesus Revolution, it doesn’t compare to the quality and emotion & spiritual impact of The Chosen. Not even close.

I know you will not only get a lot out of viewing The Chosen, but enjoy the superb acting and authentic sets.

Have you watched the bonus material like the Roundtables? They are so good at explaining things. Right now, I’m watching each round table and then watching the corresponding episode. It’s my second time watching the show. Just watched the first three seasons this past Lent. I’ve become a huge fan!

Yes, Jacquie, I have watched every bit of it, the Rountables, the Bonus Content, the Aftershows (interviewing the actors) and even the ‘Gen-Z Reacts to The Chosen’ which was very interesting, and somewhat surprising, as well.

My only sadness is waiting for (in-production) season 4 which will take a while to be completed and released. Their plan is to do 7 or 8 seasons. And if they manage to get all the way through the Gospels, I wonder if they will then go to Acts of the Apostles?

I just hope the world doesn’t implode before they complete their mission which I believe will change many hearts to the truth.
