Where we live, since the East Coasters moved in (and some Californicators) house cleaners’ prices have rocketed up to $30+ an hour. More than they’d make as labor on the boat factory lines. Apparently, even the probably illegal Latinas who’ve been arriving charge that.

Yeah but look how many cleanings you can get at $30/hour with that $30,000. Plus the acquisition cost of the robot says nothing about what the ongoing maintenance and repairs would cost. It’s not JUST $30,000. I’d rather benefit the well-being of an honestly employed human being with my money (if I had any that is … Lol)

SC here, I pay a house cleaner (1400 sqft/no bedrooms) $100 every 2 wks, yard guy, $100.00 every 2 wks for 1/4 of an acre. (blown off porches, weed eated, etc). Guess I've got it good.
