A twitterer noted:

Business idea - Start a dog kennel that doesn’t require vaccination. No more vaccines for my dog! Luckily, a family friend has a teenager who watches him when we go out of town. Even Petco requires vaccination for grooming services. That means I won’t be a customer.

My little cavalier couldn’t come to the nursing home (she loves it) unless she had a distemper booster. Didn’t realize that the old folks carried distemper.

It is not illegal to photoshop your pet's vaccine records. Boarders, day care, groomers, campgrounds, take only a cursory glance at "your papers." You can start from scratch or, if you adopt and your new pet is already vaccinated, you can "update" the dates on the original form in perpetuity. Getting veterinary care is trickier, it's easiest to use pop-up vet services when you need something. For example, most Tractor Supplies have a mobile vet clinic in their stores every few weeks.

Fake vaxx card for the pets. I like it!

Although we need to change the system.

We have a Cavalier. She is the BEST. So great with our special needs daughter. The perfect companion dog who lives just to be petted and sit on laps. 😂

Do you vaxx yours? Mine is all caught up but after some research I don’t wanna vax her anymore. But what about rabies? Wondering what others do, I guess.

Aren’t they great? Mine is such a sweetheart and she loves old people. I stopped giving her vaccines about 4 years ago and she won’t get anymore since she doesn’t have to be kenneled for any reason. Four years ago I got her vaxed for kennel cough with a live attenuated bordetella vaccine and I ended up with whooping cough myself. It lasted 3 months. So I don’t vaccinate her for anything anymore. Also, I have heard that neuro symptoms are more common in older dogs after vaccination.

They are sweethearts! Ours will throw her head back on our chest and give us hugs. I am amazed at how affectionate she is. But then again we are constantly living on her so maybe it’s learned behavior. And she’s soooo smart!!! Wowza!

Ya the limited research I have done is definitely pointing to I won’t vax her any more. She’s healthy and not really around other dogs much at all. We do have to find a pet sitter for a few days coming up so I worry about those few times a year we need that. But we won’t board her at a kennel ever. It would be a private home but if they have dogs that’s when I’m not sure.

Thanks for the reply.

I use a vet that does titers. It’s legal for all jabs except rabies. They used to be cheaper, now slightly more expensive than jabs but no rush of cancer at the jab site or reactions.

What do you mean it’s not legal for rabies? I can’t get titers for rabies at all? Hmm, I thought I could. I hadn’t checked into it yet.

My vet said several years ago that ‘they’ were trying to get it passed but it hasn’t been successful yet. I think Covid blew it off the agenda and I suspect those vaccines are revenue their makers don’t want to lose. Best case is to get a 3 year vaccine.

I have read of a reaction to rabies vax that causes aggression and a homeopathic treatment. The source of that me be Dr.

Sorry. Source may be Dr Pitcairn’s book Natural Health For Dogs and Cats but it’s been a a few years since I read that. Rare, but good to be aware of the possibility.

So you don’t do rabies shots either? I am considering no more shots for our 3 yr old Cavalier. I’m not as researched about animals but I’m inching my way toward no more dog shots. She never gets loose. She’s a house dog.

As a small animal veterinarian, I treat mostly Autoimmune disease caused by vaccination and compounded by poor diets. I did not start out as an expert in autoimmune disease, but it is mostly what I see and treat. Vaccines are terribly dangerous in small animals. Owners should be encouraged to stand up and refuse the yearly injections against diseases which rarely occur in a well fed, well cared for companion animal. Owners should also know that the vaccines that their pets receive as young animals almost always last a lifetime. There is no need for repeat injections. Our pet population would be much healthier if vaccines disappeared.

I do not vaccinate my dogs. They live with me, never go to a kennel, etc. Where re they going to get rabies or kennel cough? They are not running wild

Just have the vet drawn their titers to whatever vaccine is out there. We also quit giving our dogs vaccines. The titers are a little more expensive, but well worth it.

There is aluminum and mercury in their vaccines, just like children's vaccines and big pharma, marketeers that they are, know how much we love our pets and pay off vets just like they do docs. Remember Bourla (head of Pfizer) is a veterinarian.

They can get kennell cough if they walk the grasses and pick up something from another dog. However, I’m like how often does that happen and isn’t it a virus that they can just get over.

I have lost all my older dogs to cancer by 13. My Mom told me they used to have farm dogs to easily lived to 19 and 20.

I am a Granny with grown kids, divorced x 3. When I lost my old girl after 13 years (last April), I was horribly depressed and kept re-thinking all her care.

When I got little Lulu, 1 yr. old tomorrow, I decided to use her as my control group and have never taken her to a vet. I have a mobile vet that comes to my house for my old dog, and they could care less if the pups are vaccinated.

She’s had a rabies but is not up to date. I’m not doing it anymore. Fully believe these shots cause cancer.

We have taken her camping but they never ask for papers

We started getting the 3-yr rabies shot. Still shows as vaxxed, but it's much less vax, I understand, than 3x 1-yr rabies vax. It is the only required vax where we are, and I was told they work on the honour system...

Harvey Risch of the Wellness Company said they were planning to open the hospital and even medical school. Not sure when. I hope there will be a new network of hospitals independent of corrupt moneyed interests. I wish people would just take their health in their own hands, maybe find a more holistically oriented healthcare provider , then they wouldn’t have to be on a slew of prescription drugs and only use allopathic model for emergency care and necessary surgeries. I don’t know why it is so hard for people to wrap their mind around the fact that emergency medicine and surgeries do have a place but the allopathic model that focuses mostly on pharmaceuticals without addressing the root cause of the disease doesn’t work as well for many chronic conditions. In many instances a lifestyle change creates a much better result than a prescription drug could ever have. The current medical system has had monopoly for a long time, if people turn away from this model then they’ll start seeing it in their pocketbooks

I found a mobile groomer who is great and not once has she asked about our pups vax. She is up to date but I don’t want to let them stick her anymore. She’s due in October but I think I’m gonna decline. The problem is if there are any issues that could be problematic. But, we also know if there is something serious we would not put her on doggie medication anyway, nor would we spend thousands on surgery. Her life would just run it’s course. So, why would we continue sticking her?? So you pet owners - you don’t vax them at all with any of the shots including rabies?
