I’ve spoken to an Elder, prompted the Women’s Ministry Director to take a stance and they utter excuses: we don’t have enough resources for counseling; we need to continue to pray for spiritual revival. I’m simply saying that the pulpit needs to denounce that behavior loudly and assertively. There are a few churches that have taken that stance but that example is not followed everywhere. We’ve lost faith in our government, all alphabet soup agencies and sadly now even our churches are failing us as well.
