Phil, Brian is a hate-baiter. Its best to ignore him as I do. Everyone should ignore him, he adds no value to any discussion.

While you provided very clear, correct, specific factual information, it will make no difference. Brian is here to help Evil divide and conquer.
I will take your advice to heart though I doubt that he will have any answer that doesn't sound childish. But it did give me an opportunity to say the above.
Phil, Yes, and thank you for emphasizing the imperative of loving, especially in the face of rampant judgment and condemnation during this political season.
Well, he will prolly come back and ask what is love? If course, everything I said was summed up by Jesus in what we call the Golden Rule: "Therefore, whatever you want men to do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets." Matt 7:12. His Law is the definition of love and all the Law is summed up by that statement.
It's strange to me that people want to pretend there is a difference between God's Law and love. There is not. Love is the fulfillment of the law. Not the love of a feeling but the love of treating others the way God says we should treat others. That is true love which is exactly the way Jesus and Paul stated it.
You gave him great advice and your information was spot-on. I often wonder if Brian and our "good friend" Vonu are the same person using different accounts.
