On Thursday, the "technical glitch" abruptly ended (again, with no explanation from Substack) with all of our presumably blocked email posts being sent out at once by Substack to subscribers with our comments on other Substacks once again becoming visible immediately. However, we did lose about 30+ subscribers with the emails going out to a nice round # (exactly 3,000 - yes, we are a small Substack with a loudmouth!).
A couple of weeks ago I stopped receiving emailed updates from Ngo Comment, and thought it might only be because Andy was busy working on a story and hadn't posted.
Yesterday a notice appeared in my mailbox and it soon became clear there'd been much activity on the site, but I'd simply received no notifications.
That site isn't covid-focused, but investigates and publishes news about hot-button topics such as antifa terrorist activities and the associated presence and possible connection of violence committed by the trans community.
Thanks for the heads up. I'll start paying closer attention, because, as the covid coup so bitterly taught us, what they'll do to one they'll do to us all if given the chance.
Ok, I looked at Ngo Connect. Every post does not allow non-paying subscribers to comment & the chat is only for paying subscribers. I was unsubscribed to Coffee & Covid without my doing. When the emails didn’t show up in my inbox, my first thought was “ Oh no, I hope Jeff is all right.” When I looked into it, I was shocked to find that I had been unsubscribed.
I lost about 30+ subscribers when released as exactly 3,000 emails went out for each post that had been blocked and I was left with 3,000 subscribers (I started with ZERO and NO mailing list)... Overall subscriber totals have been drifting slightly downward for awhile (despite notifications of new subscribers) - I attributed to my stance on Israel (not popular with boomers) & the overall subscription fatigue/overload that everyone faces... Also, Substack may automatically unsubscribe you if you are not clicking on the emails (I think some mailing list programs purge inactive emails or where emails are not being read) e.g. I often read stuff on web browsers where I am not logged in...
It might have been an auto generated ban for me if multiple accounts reported my Substack and then I had to use the AI chatbot to complain (documented in my post) and get a human to manually review / unblock... Unless something else is going on... I don't think Substack can afford the # of staff that Fedbook has and pre-Elon Twitter had to monitor everyone...
I’ve been experiencing something similar - but I attributed it to finances, etc, but I’m hearing a lot about Substack censoring for conservative, truth pages.
The economy is bad so it's natural for that to impact paid subscriptions + there is subscription fatigue along with the general ensh*tification of Substack as noted by others all over the spectrum. I personally unsubscribed from two of your newsletters for this exact reason. Just FYI. I enjoyed your stuff for years but truly can not tolerate the shrill anti-zionist bs nor do I particularly wish to partake of material that "punches right" too often. Hello, I am here in the proper lane going the speed limit, if YOU want to go faster, then get your lazy butt into the other lane and pass me already! Eventually they do give up after realizing their tailgating isn't pressuring me to go faster, and then they speed off into the other lane, clearly annoyed that they have to make the effort.
And for the record I am also completely sympathetic to the complaints about people driving the speed limit or below who hang out in the left or even middle lanes, it annoys me too, which is why I stay to the right when I am going at a slower speed than other people are!

Well it’s also more than just landing the plane. The entire flight staff is full of these characters. How you interact with passengers, their children, their differences of opinion, etc matters. And so, yes ... I can see how the NeoCons from their position would see themselves as conservative, conserving ... and not as a force for chaos. And so, in an odd way, I can see how the NeoCon/Neo-Conservative labeling makes sense, at least in some circles.
Take William F. Buckley. He was sold as the arch conservative. But look at the man and one sees that Buckley never conserved anything whatsoever over the course of his entire life. In fact, Buckley's career was one slippage after another from views that he had previously held, and one long slide down the slippery slope leading directly to the snake pit.
So what was Buckley? Communist? Fascist? For that matter, who or what was Franklin Roosevelt? Or Stalin? Or Adolf? And for sure the 20th century was largely a Brown shirt Red shirt affair. But it may be said with certitude that all of the above had one thing in common, and that is an adherence to Marxism ... and of one admixture, one complexion or another. And what they all were not is Christian.
J. Gresham Machen was an American Presbyterian New Testament scholar and educator in the early 20th century. Perhaps his best known work is Christianity and Liberalism which was written in 1923, which is fairly early in the century. He had much to say about the inerrancy and creedlessness of Christianity in his time as juxtaposed against the rise of Liberalism. Looking backwards in time, one is able to detect more fully what was going on during this era in time. Christianity in America was failing and embracing non-Christian elements, becoming 'progressive' while Liberalism was 'progressively' rising in embrace of the Marxist passion. That is, Onward Christian Soldiers was over time transitioning to Onward Globalist Soldiers in what was to be one of the bloodiest centuries in recorded history. I would add in the interest of truncation, that in looking backwards, the 20th century was the first Marxist century and that the 21st is merely a continuation.
This is a bit of a condensation, and I don't mean it to be taken as a rigid construction, but more of a seeding of thought.

I have a lot of instances of that. From the outside looking in, one would think that a delegate or senator would know something about what they are charged to deal with. But they don't. Instead, they cover the spectrum from knowing to not knowing. My impression was the most elected official don't know what they are doing. (Based on just being an ordinary guy, I had to wonder. If I could figure these thing out, why couldn't the elected officials, at least some of them.)
Judas Goat is a very valid idea. So far, I appear more selective, more measured in how I apply the term. But then again, there is the rest of the book.
And then there is Zionism which seems to have arisen to give 'conservative' Christians, who have been disaffected by liberalism, a cause celebre to justify foreign wars, an extension of the neoconservative ideology.

His description was brutal: “a global experiment in social control disguised as science.” He pointed to the destruction of employment, children’s education, access to medical care, and the ability of families even to say goodbye to dying relatives. Milei went further and characterized the resulting avoidable deaths as “genocide.”

A couple of weeks ago I stopped receiving emailed updates from Ngo Comment, and thought it might only be because Andy was busy working on a story and hadn't posted.
Yesterday a notice appeared in my mailbox and it soon became clear there'd been much activity on the site, but I'd simply received no notifications.
That site isn't covid-focused, but investigates and publishes news about hot-button topics such as antifa terrorist activities and the associated presence and possible connection of violence committed by the trans community.
Thanks for the heads up. I'll start paying closer attention, because, as the covid coup so bitterly taught us, what they'll do to one they'll do to us all if given the chance.

I was unsubscribed to Coffee & Covid without my doing. When the emails didn’t show up in my inbox, my first thought was “ Oh no, I hope Jeff is all right.” When I looked into it, I was shocked to find that I had been unsubscribed.
I lost about 30+ subscribers when released as exactly 3,000 emails went out for each post that had been blocked and I was left with 3,000 subscribers (I started with ZERO and NO mailing list)... Overall subscriber totals have been drifting slightly downward for awhile (despite notifications of new subscribers) - I attributed to my stance on Israel (not popular with boomers) & the overall subscription fatigue/overload that everyone faces... Also, Substack may automatically unsubscribe you if you are not clicking on the emails (I think some mailing list programs purge inactive emails or where emails are not being read) e.g. I often read stuff on web browsers where I am not logged in...
It is no secret that Substack is 100% AI run.

It might have been an auto generated ban for me if multiple accounts reported my Substack and then I had to use the AI chatbot to complain (documented in my post) and get a human to manually review / unblock... Unless something else is going on... I don't think Substack can afford the # of staff that Fedbook has and pre-Elon Twitter had to monitor everyone...

At the same time, I would like to end the scourge of people in the right lane (the SLOW lane!) coming up behind me and tailgating to push me to go faster when they could easily pass instead *eye roll* This happens regularly and really ticks me off. Hello, I am here in the proper lane going the speed limit, if YOU want to go faster, then get your lazy butt into the other lane and pass me already! Eventually they do give up after realizing their tailgating isn't pressuring me to go faster, and then they speed off into the other lane, clearly annoyed that they have to make the effort.
And for the record I am also completely sympathetic to the complaints about people driving the speed limit or below who hang out in the left or even middle lanes, it annoys me too, which is why I stay to the right when I am going at a slower speed than other people are!

I once told a committee Chairman that the bill under consideration, was not a Virginia sovereignty bill as advertised intended to give Virginia authority over all Virginia water stream (springs, creeks, streams, rivers, lakes, etc., but was a federal/state law harmonization bill. I was shocked when the chairman looked around the room for someone, and spotted a lobbyist, and then asked, "Is he right". The guy thought for a few seconds and said, "Yes." I have a lot of instances of that. From the outside looking in, one would think that a delegate or senator would know something about what they are charged to deal with. But they don't. Instead, they cover the spectrum from knowing to not knowing. My impression was the most elected official don't know what they are doing. (Based on just being an ordinary guy, I had to wonder. If I could figure these thing out, why couldn't the elected officials, at least some of them.)
