Detroit has been corrupt for so many years no one even bothers with it any longer. 65 years ago, it was the gem city of the Midwest. Doesn’t take long to destroy anything man touches.

Expand full comment

Detroit was once considered to be the 'Paris of the Midwest'. The beautiful art-deco buildings that were once the pride of the nascent Detroit auto industry are still there.

I was shocked to learn that Kwame was/is a WEF Young Acolyte. Kwame's corruption was legendary as pretty much everyone knows.

The not-quite-fatal deathblow to Detroit started with Coleman Young. Coleman did everything he could to play the race card and to alienate Detroit from the suburbs. The culture of racial victimization has persisted to the city's detriment despite all attempts to reintegrate Detroit into the larger surrounding suburban area.

My Dad was an executive with the Detroit Free Press (back when it wasn't a garbage rag) and part of my childhood upbringing was spent with my Dad driving through Detroit and his pointing out all the ways Detroit's infrastructure was destroyed even before the '67 Riots and Coleman Young's administration. My Dad blamed the auto industry and seeing what happened to places like Pontiac and Flint, I tend to agree with him.

Places like the Grande Ballroom that was legendary for hosting bands back when music mattered like Iggy, MC5 (think 'Kick out the Jams'), are now empty husks along Michigan Avenue which is still, all these years later, like driving through a third world city or a post-apocalyptic movie set. I remember a friend who was a big Eminem fan making a trip to Detroit back in the late '00s to see Eight Mile looking for notable spots from the movie. Predictably, she was horrified particularly when she got a glimpse of Seven Mile towards the east-side.

It's been nothing short of miraculous that a dying, rust belt example of urban detritus has been brought back from the brink through the vision of the late-Mike Ilitch and Dan Gilbert. It's questionable whether it will be sustained with Michigan's leftward lurch under Whitmer and businesses migrating steadily out of the state.

Expand full comment

There are many WEF plants running for local office with much $$$$ behind them. The sheeple have no clue.

Expand full comment

Coming from mid Michigan, near Saginaw, you can add that city to the list. The auto industry did help in the destruction of Detroit, but over 80 years of Democratic influence have made it nothing but a scene of urban decay. It is living off it’s former sport’s glory now, the only reason any one goes to that area and if the pro teams don’t start bringing in championships, the fans won’t keep coming, but it is always good to get all kinds of Federal and state monies that is laundered and never actually helps those who need it.

Expand full comment

The list of Michigan cities abandoned by the auto industry is long. As you said, Saginaw, Bay City, the aforementioned Flint, Pontiac, Detroit and the surrounding suburbs.

Expand full comment

I live in the Metro Detroit area, and honestly, while there's sketchy people here and there, I'd rather be here than in Chicago or San Fran.

Expand full comment

Detroit has its beauty. The classic art-deco buildings that date back to the '20s. The new construction.

Our favorite thing used to be to eat at this great Vietnamese place north of Little Caesar's Arena, walk down Woodward to the riverfront and Hart Plaza, hang-out down there, and walk back through Greektown, passing Ford Field and Comerica. We always felt safe, day or night.

Detroit's like any other city: you just have to know where you can and should not be.

Expand full comment

If you haven't yet read it, I highly recommend Detroit: An American Autopsy, by talented Detroit-based writer Charlie LeDuff. Another great one is Detroit: A Biography, by Scott Martelle. The Detroit experience - socially, economically, and politically - remains relevant for all big American cities. I'm witnessing our increasingly blue capital city in a vast sea of red take on all the trappings of San Francisco, New York, and Chicago and threatening to bring the rest of our state with it.

Expand full comment

Did this all start with the "death" of American dominance in the auto-making biz--which would have been from the late 1970's onward? Just curious, Hannah!

Expand full comment

Detroit specifically was in recession beginning in the late '50s as the war-based economy started to contract. Detroit was a magnet for all of the war-based factory jobs in the '40s which brought lots of people and new social problems (the Detroit race riots in 1943, for example). When the war ended, so did the jobs. Detroit was already in decline by the time of the '67 Riots.

My experience studying the region and travel there acknowledges Benjamin's expertise to which he speaks. I've not seen him make errors in facts as so many others do probably because they prefer or choose to ignore facts and simply go the other way of demented Biden. (It is Biden and his Obamunist handlers who gave Putin the idea he could get away with his illegal invasion.)

Benjamin is not short on critical thinking but he's not seen much in the way of factual disagreement. Mostly, it's just name calling.

Covid

Trump's "charges" (Which are BS, being an idiot is not illegal)

Mandates-he ironically skips a lot of foreign coverage, I don't know why. But he discusses the EU and WHO along with Europe but Skips Russia. Very ironic given that Russia is huge into the vaccine mandates and just approved the sputnik covid shot in under 3 months for children.

But very, very bad on:

Foreign policy-especially Ukraine and Nato.

If Trump was in office he would be singing a very different tune and how we have to support our allies and help our friends, the Ukrainians.

Forieng policy

Expand full comment

Can't speak to the 50-50 record perspective posed but it's largely driven by domestic and foreign policy. Outside the borders of the US, the takes get real bad, lack facts and have become jump the shark hysterical. Not in a good way either.

There are Americans who don't feel the incompetent, illegitimate administration controlling the oval means a reflexively negative to everything including foreign policy is the right path. It will only worsen things and give aid and comfort to the ChiCom-Russia-Mullahs Alliance which if you noticed is on the march.

Expand full comment

Well of course as a Neocon you're only concern is "Outside the borders of the US" (which gives away your neocon agenda) and "foreign policy" as this is the only area the Neocon narrative is concerned with. The Neocons have been driving the bus on foreign policy in the USG since before I was born and they do not even care if the American people are ruled domestically by a Bolshevik tyranny as long as they are able to continue to bleed Americans dry to maintain their NWO USG hegemony. I understand that for you and Ben to even consider such a concept would cause unacceptable cognitive dissonance. So you construct your own little fantasy world of selected "facts" to justify your paradigm of "US foreign relations" and never trouble yourself with the ethical or moral implications.

Expand full comment

Again with the name calling, Phil.

Why don't you grow up and just root for Putin as you love to do and try something new?

Expand full comment

Bring it on

Expand full comment

He's bringing it. Many Americans understand demented Biden and his Obamunist handlers gave Putin the green light for his illegal invasion of Ukraine.

As Americans, we have to deal with the bad and think/act long term. That's what most of the world is doing standing up against Putin's illegal invasion.

Expand full comment

Now that is the most concise statement I've seen. Obviously if Trump were in office that wouldn't have happened. Doesn't justify a thing though unless you subscribe to the Neocon narrative to never turn down a good opportunity for another war. If they want to come here to fight, we will quickly dispatch them to the afterlife. If they fuck up on the other side of the planet, that's not my problem nor should it be. Patriotic Nationalism semper fi. Empire and international hegemony based on empire building and foreign regime change is illegitimate and immoral and Constitutionally illegal yet the USG has been engaged in it since Abraham Lincoln waged unlimited warfare on half of America. Yet this is what the NeoCons who control the USG have been all about since before WWII. As a result, they have progressively destroyed America morally, ethically and financially. The great American middle class, the wonder and envy of the world, has been hollowed out economically and culturally. We now stand on the brink thanks to the NeoCons.

I can only pray that Trump gets back into office but, either way, the real war here in America has been engaged. Trump threw down the gauntlet in his interview with Tucker when he said the Number 1 problem, above China, above Ukraine and Russia, above everything else is the Deep State in America. This is the enemy the American people are now engaged in war with. International adversaries are nothing compared to this threat to the very existence of America. Those exterior threats are easily handled. We are that strong.

It is a Neocon deception that America cannot defend herself without controlling the rest of the world through NATO and the exportation of the wealth of the American people to buy the loyalty of foreign despots and governments. This is EXACTLY what the founding fathers including George Washington warned us about. But once the Neocons got in control of the USG they would rather submit to a Bolshevik coup than truly protect the interests of the American people. And that's the BOTTOM line.

You can order supplements on line. Amazon is one of them. And I agree. Justin is a criminal.

I’m so sorry for what you’re going through. I pray you get good news on his condition. I’ve researched a lot on the supplements...nattokinese, serrapeptase and lumbrokinese are all very good, I just started taking all three. Have been taking natto for a few months. NAC is very essential also. A few others are quercitin and bromelain..and it’s good to get your D levels up to at least 60-80 ng/ml.

Purchased NAC for him, and so many other important supplements, after discovering he got fully Pfizered in late '21.

Feed him, and my mum, natural bromelain. (Pineapple)

He temporarily resided with me after his 2nd jab, so I was able to observe him. Packed daily vitamins and supplements but had to "nag". It was tough.

Response: "You treat me like a 10 year old."

It's been over a year since he moved on. I've no idea if he's been taking his supplements, as he clams up when I inquire.

Linked him, my sister, and her son, to all the natural natto and nattokinase supplement data.

His response, and I quote: "Idk any other parents/kids that have the kind of relationship we do at my age."

(He's 26.)

Maybe he's right.

McCullough recommended glutathione, nattokinase and I think selenium. Maybe he didn’t recommend selenium, but I’ve seen it recommended by other doctors and researchers.

When I first glanced at your comment I thought it said "McCullough recommended guillotine..."

Here are some things to check out that can help the vaxxed. Chlorine dioxide. You should watch the documentary and join the Telegram channel. They post how to use it and lots of testimonials - https://theuniversalantidote.com/. Also, Earthing/Grounding. Another doc that explains how it works. It helps many things - https://www.earthingmovie.com/. I just wish I could get my own family to use these things but it's very hard to get them to listen. Praying for us all!

I have mms and citric acid in stock since discovering Jim Humble. ✅

A single dose took care of what ailed my niece, years ago now.

Grounding? Definitely.

Go barefoot, outside. (Nothing, no "mat" required.)

Thanks mm. ❤

It’s amazing what mms can do. Some of the people who were helping those who were sick with Covid got put in jail for using it as the authorities said it was toxic bleach. So sad.

I know mm, so sad. All you need to do is search the term and see the "results" you get...

Can you share more information about this? Is this a case being argued in Canada? Who took who to court? I’d like to share this video with context. Thanks!

I’m also very sorry for what you’re going through.

Okay, I missed this the first time “Dr. Jessica Rose has testified, UNDER OATH at the National Citizens Inquiry Commission in Winnipeg MB Canada.” I’ll look that up. :)

“Arise, bless the Lord your God forever and ever!

O may Your glorious name be blessed

And exalted above all blessing and praise! You alone are the Lord.

You have made the heavens,

The heaven of heavens with all their host,

The earth and all that is on it,

The seas and all that is in them.

You give life to all of them

And the heavenly host bows down before You.”

In the verses just before this prayer, Israel gathered in prayer and repentance for where they had gone so wrong as a nation under God. Truly mourning. It manifesting in being clothed in sackcloth, not eating and other things that man would normally enjoy, but if you are aggrieved and shamed you would do without. You put yourself low where you belong humbled and on your knees before the Lord. It is there that his holiness and majesty and perfection and seeing Him for exactly who he is to you and who he is to everything He created (everything) and who you are (GULP). For that position he can lift you up. The prayer is the recognition of who he is from the standpoint of the broken, earnest and humble heart. Thank you Janice. I hope our nation can get back to this.

In Bible Study Fellowship, we are studying the divided and then faltering kingdom of Israel, which, of course, preceded the exile, the return after the exile, and the sincere repentance that the passage in Nehemiah demonstrates. It is eerily similar to the godlessness in our country. His Word says over and over --if we would only repent, then He will relent. Praying that We the People of this country would hear and obey the sage Words. Otherwise, we are headed for destruction just like Israel did.

That's right Katrina. I love that God provides us ample examples of his patient love for his people, calls them to repentance and knows just when there must be an answer. Not a moment before. Even when we can barely believe he is allowing it. In Jeremiah there is a sort of relevant set of prayers/pleas Jeremiah offers up to God regarding Judah. At first he pleas with God to have mercy on his countrymen then he sees their iniquity and utterly (in his eyes) unrepentant heart and begs God to take them out. I laugh thinking of it because I feel somewhat the same even though they haven't tried to kill me. Oh wait. They have! Nix that last part. God knows the heart of every man and when the cause is lost and needing remedy. Glad he doesn't leave it to the will of man. Thank you so much for the interesting thought and example. May God bless your Bible study and the people gathered there to worship Him.

Thank you for the background. Truly seeing God for who He is can do nothing but humble us. Or kill us.

Texiera is either a scapegoat or the bestest spy in the history of the world! Either does not reflect well on our august “intelligence community.” Seriously, a 21 year old part time NG member somehow obtained access to these documents? Really? 🤣

The (NY Times) will get to the bottom of it.

They’ve already gotten to the bottom of it—the barrel—and they’re scraping it to try and regain their former status as a respectable news source. Hence, this supposed spy scoop.

That simply being in the Guard doesn't make him something less. It's not necessarily part-time, either.

Expand full comment

Where did you glean that in my comment? PT NG doesn’t strike me as a position that would afford anyone the access he allegedly had.

Expand full comment

I haven't seen enough info to determine whether he was PT NG or Active Guard. I haven't seen enough info to determine if he accessed the information via his NG work or if perhaps he also works as a civilian contractor. Or, really, enough information to know almost anything, other than what his buddies who talked to the press said. Your comment sounded like you were denigrating his age and his NG status. I thought BeNN's reply was an attempt to point out that NG are often treated as if they were active duty, in terms of how often and how long they're deployed, so simply being NG doesn't make him PT (and he could also be Active Guard). Often, Guard members work the same job as a civilian as they do when called up to active duty, so depending on the field they can be *more* capable than their active duty equivalents, as they have access to other training and testing environments. That's how I gleaned that in your comment. As to his age and access, "Despite a relative lack of formal education and training, [Edward] Snowden demonstrated an aptitude with computers, and he was hired by the Central Intelligence Agency in 2006 [age 23]. He was given a top secret clearance and in 2007 was posted to Geneva, where he worked as a network security technician under a diplomatic cover." Not long after, he went to the NSA. (quote from Britannica)

Exactly.

At one point Afghanistan and Iraq had 60% of all forces deployed being "part timers".

We have air national guard f35 pilots, national guard, special forces, national guard helicopter pilots, air national guard c130 pilots, I can go on.
