ERRATA:

— I clumsily tried to extend/analogize Senator Rennick’s comment about Australian states using a parenthetical editorial change. It’s not as clear as I’d like; due to a recent Substack change, the use of brackets (‘[]’) is more difficult. Clarification added.

The Senator I believe was not referring to the US, It was the Governor's of each STATE in Australia that locked down, not the Senate.

Expand full comment

Yes thats what I think too. There are 6 states in Australia and Dan Andrews of Victoria became famous for be a dictator.

I'm not sure if this was the final number but they had at least six lockdowns totalling 262 days.

It was terrifying watching them and the insanity, especially the police brutality.

The police killed 60 non violent protesters.

It was the ‘elected’ State Premiers (we do have State governors, but they are the representatives of the Crown and have a largely ceremonial role) who behaved like tin-pot dictators

And were well supported by their stormtroopers. I’m curious given Australia’s history and the Ozzies that I know why there was so much compliance.

Expand full comment

The 'compliance' of Strayans is actually far easier to understand than you might think, David.

Clive James - an Australian journalist, commentator and author - put it best:

=== The problem with Australians is not that so many of them are descended from convicts but that so many are descended from prison officers ===

Australians are also cursed with a political class where both sides of the "Liberal/Labour" false dichotomy are simultaneously obsessed with

(a) factional positioning when in Opposition; and

(b) giving blowjobs to the Dying Empire of the Day (England prior to 1945; the US) when in government.

This putative 'commission' will go PRECISELY NOWHERE in terms of concrete outcomes (e.g., the public executions of EVERYONE INVOLVED).

It will be like a bad episode of "Yes Minister" with Antipodean accents. It will get the "Sir Humphrey Applebaum*" treatment when the terms of reference are set, and it will be overseen by 'safe hands' among the robed lickspittles.

And by the time it's underway, we will have been sent to war with China. The Yanks - the Dying Empire of Lies - fully intend that Oz does most of the fighting in their upcoming war with China, because they have neither the manpower nor the materiel to fight it themselves. We will be playing the part of Ukraine.

* - I know the character in Yes Minister was called Appleby. I'm making a very specific point about whose interests are being served.

Thank you for your stellar explanation. As loyal members of the 'five eyes', fealty to the US goes without saying. Sadly, these characteristics are also true in deep 'blue' US states.

I think it was effective use of fear. Almost everyone I know believed implicitly that Covid was as serious as the Spanish Flu and that anything (anything at all) which h would protect against Covid was worth doing. The MSM played that song night and day and doctors were forbidden to deviate from the official line by AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Authority) or lose their licence to practise.

You must live in the inner suburbs of a major metro area.

I was in Albury-Wodonga from January 29 2020 onwards, and by March 24th 2020 - when the data from the Diamond Princess (and Ruby Princess) came out it was ABSOLUTELY SCREAMINGLY OBVIOUS that 'COVID' only killed 80-year-olds who were already so ill that a fart would do them in.

Apart from a few old women, pretty much everyone I know understood that this was just another engineered panic - of the type that they've tried EVERY FEW YEARS since 2003.

It's also important to point out that every country had their own CDC and Fauci like puppet. I was in England until Jan 2021 - we didn't see Fauci or hear anything about other countries health guidelines, unless we talked to our international friends/family.

So for me, it was all the NHS, and Matt Hancock I blame for following Italy and France.

When I moved to Florida in Jan 2021, I followed both Fauci and Hancock and then started looking at Trudeau, and others. I followed them all side by side. No one was worse than the other, they were are inexcusably tyrannical.

I don't know of anyone who is blaming America for leading this. It seems everyone is individually angry at their own leadership.

I get told off all the time by people who claim I couldn't understand what they went through as I didn't live there or they questioned why I care so much.

People have a strong since of nationalism when it comes to the pandemic, where despite the crap I get from people, I maintain a globalist approach, that we are stronger when we fight together, especially as it helps proves conspiracy, and we should ALL have justice equally, not just one state.

We do need a global system for reform, it's too big to take on individually. I just don't know how people will move past the anger of the lockstep system in order to be able to trust any collaboration right now, especially with no accountability.

But to say the world is pointing it's finger at the US, I would say is an assumption that needs more evidence.

I think having a non-elected bureaucrat (Fauci) dictate mandates is a major frustration point for us in the US. I suspect it is the same in the UK with the NHS? At least Trudeau was elected to his role in the mandate tyranny.

I agree with Fauci being the us target... Watching that little prick lie again and again is a major sore spot.

I don't think one can be considered elected when you do what he did to the protestors - at this point he was a Nazi who was part of the WEF agenda. As far as I'm concerned all young global leader graduates are unelected as they gained their position through fraud and deceiving people on their loyalty. I feel betrayed by them all, including Blair and Putin.

Can we have a new daily update or weekly update topic on C40 cities.

The mayor of Orlando says he will end coal production by 2027 and we need to start focusing on our local movements.

Fort Myers is not on this list and I know they are already promoting it on local news networks.

I can give you a lot of research to check, but basically, there is a site just for the Mayors, which has 500 so far that you can find.

It started in 2004, and they are partnering with MasterCard to roll out the carbon credit system. Eric Adams launched this in May 2023 and 14 cities have announced it.

I don't give one flying fk about the war in other countries as we all need to prepare for the war in our own towns, like Oxford England are doing to stop them charging them to leave their 15 min walking cities.

This should have one paragraph every devoted to it, given the threat to our freedom and how the plandemic was all designed to condition us to accept no cars, no in person events, food supply shortages, limited access to the government and medical services, universal payments and so on.

I'm sure if you asked for a data dump, so many people would help you with the research.

I'm going to post this everyday, until we start talking about it as we need to stop complaining about the federal government and go after or local governments. I think we have until May 2024 to get our local communities aware of this as once the pandemic treaty is signed, we don't know what they will use the Migrants for.

Sorry I’m a few days late catching up… Australian Senator Gerard Rennick’s comment is about the totalitarian role of the (Australian) States in locking people down.”

In the State of Queensland where I live, Premier Anastasia Palaszczuk authorised television advertisements of popular outings Aussies enjoy, like Cricket, Football, Theatre and Restaurants with loud proclamations of “NO! Without your vaccine!” We were locked down again and again, ongoing medical assistance wasn’t available unless the patient was vaccinated, admission to all public venues was denied to unvaccinated. Federal and State Government employees (hospitals, prisons etc) were forced by State mandates to vaccinate or else lost their jobs. Very totalitarian.

Arizona's representative Andy Biggs introduced HR 79 last January, and it has gathered dust in the Foreign Affairs committee's lowest priority in-basket ever since. HR 79 is a two-page bill calling for the US to remove itself from the WHO constitution. It has over 50 co-sponsors, but no action. How about you and your readers pressing their representatives to move HR 79 to the floor and pass it before the USA loses its sovreignty to unelected foreign operatives? This is more important than practically anyone realizes.

Expand full comment

God always preserves a remnant for His glory. I love the account of Elijah and the prophets of Baal in 1 Kings 18 and the follow up in Ch 19. At the end of it all, when Elijah thinks he is the only believer left in the land and the people wanted to kill him, God reminded him that He had 7000 in Israel who had not bowed the knee to a false god.

Expand full comment

Maybe not as a whole. But his plea and His promise was to His people who are called by His Name.

2 Chronicles 7:14. TLV

“When My people, over whom My Name is called, humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their evil ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”

In His merciful loving kindness and infinite wisdom, He knew that NOT everyone wOuld “....humble themselves and pray and seek My Face and TURN from their wicked ways.....”......

And so, He only asked for at least those over whom His Name is called to repent and turn.

And so we pray for those who have not yet repented and turned back to Him, that their eyes and ears and hearts will do so. Who knows? Perhaps He will place those who HAVE done so in a place similar to Goshen, and when ‘Egypt/Babylon’ dies in the darkness, we will have light in ‘Goshen’.

“By Me, kings reign and rulers decree justice.

From Michael Tracy:

Mike Johnson, the new GOP Speaker of the House, tells Sean Hannity:

- "We can't allow Putin to prevail in Ukraine"

- US "boots on the ground" may be required to "stand with Israel"

- Supports Israel directly attacking Iran

- Russia, China, and Iran are "the new Axis of Evil"

https://twitter.com/mtracey/status/1717921509623091389

So how exactly is any of this different from the uniparty stance and in any way America First? And why did Johnson feel compelled to have his first interview with Hannity of all people?

I'm thankful Johnson plainly states the Bible forms his world view as that's a huge improvement over corrupt opportunists like McCarthy. However, every one of these comments indicates that there will be business as usual and that the interests of normal American citizens are secondary to those of the globalist neocons.

Johnson gets no honeymoon and no benefit of the doubt. He needs to show he is different and that he truly is America First, and he needs to do it right away. Quoting Bible verses gets him zero slack. Even Satan quoted scripture when tempting Jesus. I'm not saying that Johnson is insincere but that talk is cheap, particularly when it comes to politicians. And so far, things don't look good.
