Isn’t it amazing how the media selectively forget that “little” nugget of info. I am very interested to know who the actual victims are in this case. I was a public health nurse in Lancaster County from 1978 to 1980. During that time, we had the TMI accident and the polio outbreak. Our staff of nurses held clinics all over the county in the plain community. We gave oral polio vaccine in schools, homes and once above a pig barn, after which I came home smelling like hog manure. These good folks willingly lined up to take the vaccine because, compared to the MMR, it was relatively safe. I am reasonably certain they would not do the same today and would exert their religious exemption to keep from taking the MMR. I await the actual truth about these two deaths.

We use to have chicken pox parties as kids so we would all contract the disease early in life as to not get "scars" or so I was told. It worked.
