Yes General, they’re just normal people like you or me. It was normal people who just “went along” who enabled the 3rd Reich. The banality of evil as Hannah Arendt put it. All we can do is stand for truth and be willing to take the consequences. This is what we are called to do so that we are not complicit. But it’s not easy.
