God Most High,

We come confidently before your throne but contritely, with the full knowledge that our nation deserves judgment. Yet we ask for mercy instead of judgment and for a reprieve from the evil instead of destruction. We ask that you intervene in the affairs of men, that you counteract the subterfuge, that you stay the hand of evil. We ask that you disable those in power whose intent is wicked and that you lift up and strengthen those who seek what is good and righteous.

Lord, we know that you see all things and know all things. We know that you favor those who fear you and hate those who do evil. We also know that you can “turn the heart of the king” to do your will and that all things are your servants. Work all things together for the good of those who love you while you show yourself mighty in the midst of the wickedness. We ask you to vanquish the darkness and turn the hearts of the people to you. Thank you for hearing and answering.

In the mighty name of Jesus, amen.

This morning, Mike Gallagher had a good analogy, for anyone who still isn’t sure DJT is “good” enough: think about King David in the Old Testament and how God was with him😇🙏

As I have said before, God uses flawed people because that’s the only kind there is.

I used that analogy on Outspoken blog by Dr. Naomi Wolf a few weeks ago. She was discussing the "supposed" brief affair that RFK, Jr. was having with some "young thing". Dr. Wolf wasn't buying any of the drivel that the DEMONratic controlled media was publishing and I wrote that, even if it WERE true, remember how David--who started out in his life as a humble, faithful shepherd, became "Fearless Leader" (king of Israel - anointed by Yahweh and the prophet Samuel). David sinned with Bathsheba and even had her husband killed in battle so that he could 'safely' marry her for his 'own wife'. You know that rest of that story - but, even though David sinned...he prostrated himself before Jehovah and begged for forgiveness (and to spare the child born through his adultery with Bathsheba). The child died--but David WAS forgiven and his relationship with Jehovah was restored. The Bible clearly states, that "David was a man AFTER GOD'S OWN HEART".

'NOUGH SAID!

Thank you Janice. Surely I am not the only one who believes the comment by Harris to the two college students shouting "Jesus is Lord" is being used by God in a masterful way. It is not acceptable to speak Jesus in a Harris rally. The name of Jesus was spoken. That is all that is really needed.

Amen! It seems God’s most effective judgement has been to let us as sinners, and our nation have our way. I pray with you for God’s mercy.

Daniel 9: 3 So I gave my attention to the Lord God to seek Him by prayer and supplications, with fasting, sackcloth and ashes. 4 I prayed to the Lord my God and confessed and said, 7 “Righteousness belongs to You, O Lord, but to us open shame, as it is this day—...8...because we have sinned against You.... 9 To the Lord our God belong compassion and forgiveness, for we have rebelled against Him; 10 nor have we obeyed the voice of the Lord our God, to walk in His teachings which He set before us through His servants the prophets. .....13... we have not sought the favor of the Lord our God by turning from our iniquity and giving attention to Your truth. 14 ... for the Lord our God is righteous with respect to all His deeds which He has done, but we have not obeyed His voice....16 O Lord, in accordance with all Your righteous acts, let now Your anger and Your wrath turn away.....18 O my God, incline Your ear and hear! Open Your eyes and see our desolations and the city which is called by Your name; for we are not presenting our supplications before You on account of any merits of our own, but on account of Your great compassion. 19 O Lord, hear! O Lord, forgive! O Lord, listen and take action! For Your own sake, O my God, do not delay, because Your city and Your people are called by Your name.”
