Because the word Ontario derives from "the Iroquoian language family that translates to "great lake," "beautiful lake," or "sparkling water"." So in that regard, it's more than superficial to the Province to have the Lake's name changed to whatever else. As to the Iranian stockpiles. The Mullah's plan from 2002 was to do the "Bring 10,000 knives to a gun fight" routine because they were too far behind Israel in nuclear weapons development. Israel already had hydrogen bombs and Iran didn't even have atomic bombs.
