As I watch these new Iranian missile actions I'm reminded of what the Secretary of State Marco Rubio said, that the U.S. has "no interest in being polite and orderly caretakers of the West's managed decline,"

Re: cancer... there is no getting it all even in an infant! "Getting it all" is an idea that is simply wrong. Malignant cell lines are held in check by an immune system that is activated. Tumors are evidence of the body's attempt to wall off the invaders.

There are a thousand details.

Not a troll here, but need to correct our Stack host on a small, but meaningful historical inaccuracy he's described about the Chagos islands. While it has a legal connection with Mauritius under British colonial rule it has no authentic historical connection with Mauritius. If anything its connection to Maldives has more legitimacy.

Here's the accurate connection that Jeff didn't dig deep enough into before he made his assertions...probably repeating the assertions of lazy MSM narrators who don't read history or care much about it because it doesn't serve the narrative:

https://chagossianvoices.org/sovereignty/

"To someone looking at this from the outside as an abstract case of law this may all seem quite reasonable. However, for Chagossians -who view this from long and raw experience- this advisory opinion is just the latest in a series of injustices where their rights and interests have been violated and their story of exile has been exploited for someone else’s advantage. The case at the ICJ dealt only with the rights of self-determination of Mauritians and the question to the court avoided any reference to the Chagossians as a people with rights – except as Mauritians. The question even describes Chagossians as “Mauritians of Chagossian origin” a term most Chagossians find completely unacceptable. Let’s examine why so many Chagossians object to the outcome at the court.

Firstly Chagossians see themselves as a distinct people living on islands 2000 km distant from Mauritius. They had (and have) a unique way of life, a language and a culture. They are the ‘belongers’ on the islands and have lived on the islands since before the arrival of the British in 1814 and long before the creation of the Republic of Mauritius in 1968.

Secondly it has always suited those in power to ignore or overlook their rights as the natives of the islands. The Chagossians were not consulted over the creation of BIOT in 1965, about their exile or about the independence of Mauritius. The case came to the ICJ in 2019 without their knowledge or their consent. A handful of selected Chagossians were present at the court as part of the Mauritian delegation, but they had no independent voice – the only Chagossian contribution being one short, pre-recorded video testimony about enforced exile. Many Chagossians feel that Mauritius exploited their story to its own advantage, that the Chagossians were the aggrieved party, but Mauritius the sole beneficiary."

Chuck Flounder's avatar

Thank you for that historical background, of which I was entirely unaware. Further complicating the situation, I imagine, is the Muslim dominance of the Maldives, since that can't be beneficial for the Chagossian cause. How do you think this situation might be ideally resolved for Chagossians, considering the fact that they are pawns in a war between oppositional ideologies with global ambitions?

Freedom Fox's avatar

Yes. That is another complication for the Chagossians. I recently read the history in passing I shared above, and when Jeff brought it up I had to research other sources. I read more about them being largely Hindu, and the long history of contentiousness with Muslims. Ergo, they have no affinity with nor like of either Maldives or Mauritius. They are unfortunate pawns. Who've suffered for centuries under foreign rule. Who knows their opinion of Americans, compared to Brits or their neighbors making claims? I lack the knowledge or wisdom to speak for any ideal resolution for them. Self-determination is my default. How practical and pragmatic is that for them? For the US? Above my pay grade, my wisdom grade.

A couple of points and questions:

In June of 2025 operation “Midnight Hammer” allegedly took out Iran’s capability to build nuclear weapons. Were we lied to then?

After several recent days of allegedly taking out Iran’s military capabilities Iran launches a missile that is capable of Diego Garcia and possible every major capital in Europe. Does anyone else see the discrepancy here? Sounds to me like we’ve been lied to again.

Diego Garcia was used by us as a military base for undeclared wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. Somebody please tell me what we accomplished besides sacrificing thousands of our young men and women lives and billions of dollars in those places. And why do we still have troops stationed in harm’s way all throughout the Middle East besides protecting the interests of multinational oil companies and the petroleum-dollar?

P Flournoy's avatar

Phil, if that is your real name, why were all of the other children sent home from school but the girls remained in that school in a strategic location? Didn’t God command many times that his kings should destroy every man woman and child of a particular nation. War includes casualties. I think Pam can easily stand before God in this regard.

Phil Denter's avatar

P (if that's your real name), you have misinformation. The girls school was one of the very first targets of the war. All children were in class when the USA double-tapped and cooked those little girls. Schools were only closed after that horrific American war crime.

-----

God will judge you and Pam supporting the cooking of little girls in your name. Good luck.

P Flournoy's avatar

I disagree and as I said war produces casualties. Even if you were correct, why was that school placed in such a strategic location?

Phil Denter's avatar

It is common-place for military bases to have schools for the servicemen's children. The USA has similar situations on their bases all over the world.

-----

The elementary girls school was cordoned off from its neighbouring military base in 2016. It is international law (written by American lawyers and ratified by US Congress back when the US Congress was legit and not the AIPAC farce that it has become) that all bombs must be thoroughly vetted by the murdering button-pushers. But Americans are now MK-Ultra'ed to sneer at international law like it were France itself. Then they gave you your the gateway drug: double-tapping Caribbean fisherman.

Hegseth gives a speech on how international law means squat, that we now "extend no mercy" and he handicaps the department that does the vetting of the targets! Then they perform standard IDF m.o. and kick-off a new war with a children’s school human-sacrifice. The USA hit that elementary girls school and blew a major hole in the roof. Then the wait. Then the co-ordinated gatherings for head count while adults arrive to dig through the rubble trying to save the smashed, buried survivors. Then the pièce de résistance: the double-tap - and the second missile has not only powerful ordnance but also the gnarly technology of compressing all of its unused rocket fuel to belch God-awful burning heat to cook every little girl at the chaotic scene.

-----

My head was blown up when I was about 12 y.o. and someone on TV asked, "How did normal, good, everyday Germans get so onboard with their state committing such war crimes in their name?" I've since spent a lifetime witnessing it happen to a once great nation.

Hitler had his successful propaganda machine. Then he lost (or so we are told) and his propaganda experts took what they learned in building Nazi Germany and Operation Paperclipped over to their new gig (dubbed “MK-Ultra”).

-----

DO NOT BE WAR CRIMINALS. DO NOT NORMALIZE WAR CRIMES.

You want to make America great again? You can start by not justifying double-tapping little girls.

re: "Six Democrats joined committee chair Rand Paul (R-Ky.) in voting against advancing Mullin’s nomination."

Think about this for a minute, there was no reason for a NO vote from any of them, except that the democrats vote NO on everything which might actually help the USA (and it's citizens) and Rand Paul proves again that he is a petulant child who votes based on personal grievances instead of what is right for the country. Shame on him. He reminds me more and more of that worthless, and thankfully now dead, RINO McCain from my once great state of Arizona, now run by criminals who stole it with the corrupt s_election system.

We need a reliable, verifiable and certifiable election system instead of the s_Election system these SOB's have built to remain in power over us for the rest of their natural lives. And we need to remove every damned thieving Senator who has been in power over us for more than two terms - which is probably all of them.

Dan (100% All in MAGA)'s avatar

That's BS. Mullins didn't say he agreed with the sucker punch, he didn't even say he agreed with the reasoning of the assailant. What he said was "I can understand this". The first objective in determining how to respond is to understand why someone responded in the way they did. What we need is a director of the DHS who will defend our country instead of look the other way instead of a steaming POS like mayorkas who flung the gates open and let whomever wanted to come in, come in. You understand this? I understand this, and what I see is a scum bag who committed treason. The author asked for other Iran policy alternatives:

Because the present policy risks all out war, destruction in many countries, and thousands to tens of thousands

dead, I would have preferred continued negotiations.

The diplomat from Oman said, just prior to the attack which killed the supreme leader, that they were close to an agreement. Ironically, the terms were to be similar to those agreed to by Obama that Trump cancelled in his first term, i.e, commitment to not enrich, and open inspections.

Now it certainly is possible or even likely that the regime would lie and deceive. That is where the Reagan principle is necessary: Trust but Verify.

If such an agreement had been struck, the test would have been whether to abide by it. If they did not, the world would have noticed.

After the earlier bombing of their nuclear facilities, Iran may have been more willing to abide.

We were not given that chance, as many, for their own reasons beyond “national security” were desirous of war.

The consequences may be great harm to many in the region and further indebtedness of our country

These are difficult and important matters. I invite your replies.

Dan (100% All in MAGA)'s avatar

Josh,

Here's your reply:

Complete bullshit.

And, not surprising coming from a New Yorker (but I will give you a modicum of credit for admitting it) your sage advise is: lets just keep on meeting, talking, staffing papers, talking more with congenital liars who hate us, lets keep sending money for more terror (Obama) and, importantly, maintaining the status quo so we can create another crisis whenever we need one. What has negotiations got us in the last 47 years except more terror, higher oil prices long term (which drive the prices of everything else), dead Americans, and more bad actors who saw no consequences for their bad acts. Just because YOU don't know all the reasons does not mean it wasn't necessary. And YOU coming from the s'hole that is NY City should immediately realize that NY City is likely nuclear target one along with DC, from the terrorist mullahs from a ship/sub (I bet you didn't know they had 10 subs - now they have ZERO) not too far off the eastern coast - no time for you to even pull your head out of your butt and seek shelter - you will just be vaporized - but I guess that is as good a way to die as any. YOU'd do well to get on your knees and thank President Trump and his team for having the courage to finally go after, completely defang, and destroy Iran's ability to project terror, kill innocents everywhere in the world including the USA, while also giving the Iranian people a legitimate chance to overthrow the LYING terrorists, who have no problem also murdering thousands of them in the streets to maintain their strangle hold on Iran.

How old are you? You'd rather talk about climate change as the existential threat instead of Iran as the nuclear threat? After the bombings, the mullahs advised US negotiators they had enough weapons grade material for 10-12 nuclear devices.

Dan (100% All in MAGA)'s avatar

Expand on that Roger, what do you mean? I'm no fan of anything which comes out of Pittsburgh so I need further information. Personally, I think Fetterman plays games continuously, he says and does one thing while sending out campaign ads (I know as I receive his ads in an effort to understand who he is) which say something entirely different.

Roger Beal's avatar

Speaking as a second generation Pittsburgher myself, as a boomer. My experience is that Pittssburgh boomers and Gen-X'ers maintain that solid blue collar honesty and work ethic that defined boomer parents, the men (and some women) who worked the mills, long days in execrable conditions, and never wavered in their commitment to sweating out the best products possible. There is a base-rock loyalty to beliefs and causes among these people, one that likely is becoming diluted by each subsequent generation.

Thanks for the explanation. Your point about dilution is well taken, but it is not happening only in Pittsburgh but everywhere.

It looks like the Democrats are America’s #1 Enemy.

Yep, the Dems ARE our #1 Enemy. I'm still holding to the idea that they may well disappear as an organized political party, like the Whigs did. Have you seen how unhinged and angry they get? ...7) The Demonrat Party about to disappear

8) and the EU about to be leveraged out of Ukraine and forced to settle.

Everything Trump is doing is right in line with his new National Security Strategy that was issued in November 2025.

https://www.whitehouse.gov/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/2025-National-Security-Strategy.pdf

It's not like Trump kept it a secret. The NSS is THE controlling charter of Trump's war/defense policy.

And remember, the NSS was published 3 months AFTER Trump's summit with Putin in Alaska which took place on Aug 15, 2025. Connect the dots. The first thing Putin did when he got home from the summit was to order Russia's Arctic LNG production doubled. Now why would he do that since Russia already produces more LNG than they can use???? Because Trump told Putin exactly what he was going to do in the Middle East and Iran.

Trump is going to leverage the ME situation to force the EU to settle the Ukraine conflict with Russia. This war is not really about Iran in spite of all the inflammatory rhetoric. Iran is a means to an end. The Iranian war is about restructuring the total geopolitical landscape in the ME to Trump's program. (Don't forget the road trip Trump took to the Middle East to meet with all the Arab leaders and "shake hands".)

Dorota's avatar

Unfortunately there is a lot of people that don't understand anything about our country situation because of TDS. Here in NJ

Politico Phil's avatar

That being said, the one big nuclear threat in the Middle East is who? Come on, you know. The Zionist government of Israel. There is no government in the Middle East that is more antagonistic, aggressive and ruthless (just witness Gaza) than the state of Israel. And they have nukes and have had nukes for many years. Now I ask you, if you were a neighbor of Israel, would you be afraid? Here is Armstrong:

Iran’s Sampson Card

Iran threatened to strike “Israel’s” Dimona nuclear reactor, describing it as a “Samson Option” ...

Israeli may then respond with nuclear weapons, according to the doctrine known as the “Samson Option.”...

This is all based on Netanyahu’s insane idea that just killing the Ayatollah would end the regime and spark an uprising. None of that has happened.

If such an otion is taken, it does not appear to be before June at the earliest. It still appears that this (war) will continue in the Middle East until 2028.

azbill's avatar

I liked your last comment, then you fell back into Jew hating imbecility again

Politico Phil's avatar

Characterizations are so convenient, are they not? Avoids any attention to historical detail. Better to just engage in ad hominem arguments. Point of fact you may be unaware of: Zionism is a political construct invented by the Satanic British banking oligarchs in the 19th century for the purpose of controlling the Suez Canal and the Middle East. Zionism is not Judaism. Some Jews are Zionists as are some Muslims and some atheists and many many American "Christians", who are prolly the largest segment of supporters of Zionism. Many Jews, particularly Orthodox Jews, are opposed to Zionism and have been at war with Jewish Zionists from the beginning and have literally been killing each other from the beginning. Judaism is a religion. Zionism is not a religion. It is a political architecture and ultimately serves the apex oligarchs of the Satanic banking cabal of Europe.

So it is illogical to accuse me of "Jew hating" because I am opposed to Zionism. I leave it to you to search out the historical accuracy of my brief description which really should be general knowledge but, sadly, people believe only what fits their preconceived notions.

Bard Joseph's avatar

Iranian Terror Regime about to be neutered?

By slaughtering 100 girls?

Elaine Russky's avatar

Iran's high regard for women was illustrated by placing the girls' school inside a military target so the girls could shield it from bombing. It didn't work because we didn't know it was there.

Politico Phil's avatar

What I think is likely is that Israel targeted the girls school with an American missile to inflame the situation in an attempt to draw the US further into the war. Netanyahu wants American troops committed to ground combat. The Israeli Zionists have no regard for human life whatsoever and will do whatever they can to entangle America in the Iranian "tar baby".

The geopolitical reality of the ME is that America has more than one enemy.

azbill's avatar

That's pure, unsubstantiated idiocy.

Politico Phil's avatar

Yes, the "idiocy" is unsubstantiated, however the long bloody history of the Zionist war on the West is quite researchable. I suppose you still have faith in the psyops that the Twin Towers were vaporized by a couple of airplanes and, presto, the US is into a 20 year ground war in Afghanistan in service to the Greater Israel project... which Israel had nothing to do with? Uh huh.

Elaine Russky's avatar

Trump said we drew Israel into this attack on Iran, and he has said more than once "no ground troops."

Politico Phil's avatar

And I do hope he sticks to "no ground troops".

I can't really buy the narrative that we "drew" Israel into attacking Iran. I think he said that because Trump cannot be seen as being politically subservient to Netanyahu. From what I understand (but what do I know), Trump was going to wait till after the mid-terms to avoid the obvious blowback from his base but Netanyahu pulled the trigger and Trump had to jump in and "lead" the attack. Political theater you know.

Johnny-O's avatar

That school has been there for years

Mudpuppy's avatar

Yes the school inside a military base has been there for a while…but the Iranian leadership had closed all schools in Iran in anticipation of assaults…except this one. Because, you know, females are unworthy of anything else but a bargaining tool.

Johnny-O's avatar

That is government propaganda. Schools were open all across the country.

FYI, Israel built its IDF command quarters with deep underground bunkers smack dab in the middle of a dense civilian neighborhood, if you want to talk about morals and using citizens as human shields.

Elaine Russky's avatar

It was used for military purposes and then its use changed. Apparently US intel didn't know of the change. There's no cogent reason to believe the U.S. deliberately bombs girls' schools. If that was our practice, why did we only bomb the one school? And why not the boys, who could grow up to be terrorists or soldiers?

https://tinyurl.com/4n5zrbke

Politico Phil's avatar

Hi Elaine, war always radicalizes people and dehumanizes "the enemy". This can be seen in any war - Vietnam, WWII, the American Indian wars and the Roman Empire versus the "barbarians". Most people are just families trying to get by and raise their children, hopefully, for a better future no matter where they are in the world. Most Iranian boys do not grow up to be terrorists or soldiers. Yet in a war, we view the people of the enemy nation in radical terms because we characterize the enemy government, and as a result their people, in the most radicalized terms.

This is doubly so in a war that is religious based. The dominant religion in Iran is Shia Islam which holds to an "end times" conflict with the Great Satan as their eschatology. This is similar to Dispensational Christianity. Therefore both can be characterized as Zionist. My point is that, as Martin Armstrong has pointed out, "...the Shia Muslims have a very detailed and central belief in an end-of-the-world scenario, but it is fundamentally different in its key figures and sequence of events from the one preached by many Christian evangelicals.

"Both traditions believe history is moving toward a divinely ordained climax, but the main character of that climax is different. For Christian evangelicals, it is Jesus Christ returning in glory. For Shia Muslims, it is Imam al-Mahdi returning to establish justice.

"My father always taught me that it is NOT what I believe that governs the actions of any adversary, it is what they believe. Killing the Ayatollah did nothing but REINFORCE their view that America and Israel are agents of the Great Satan...

"Israel’s policy of assassinating leaders has crossed the line... They have walked right into this justification for war against Israel that they and the United States are indeed the Great Satan and this is in fact a precursor to the End Days. The United States is seen as the “Great Satan” and “Little Satan” is Israel... These are modern political conflicts, not direct prophecies from the 9th century. While the U.S. and Israel aren’t named in the original religious texts, believers who see the world through this lens will look for ways to map contemporary events onto the prophesied end-times framework...

"...To the Shia Muslims, this is a battle against the devil. Netanyahu has ensured killing the Ayatollah has invoked their end times views just as he has done the same. This appears to be a religious war that does not look good. It does not appear to be over quickly either.

".... As always, the Neocons in their mind paint their adversary as ruthless and the people will rise up to overthrow their government. That did not happen in Iraq and they spun the same exact nonsense."

https://www.armstrongeconomics.com/world-news/wef/end-times-sharing-power/

Politico Phil's avatar

Of course, the other possibility is it was an "accident". They like to convince the public that their bombs are "precision strikes" when in fact they often land off target. "Collateral damage" is reality in any war.

Johnny-O's avatar

There are a lot of non-cogent decisions being made lately, if you haven't noticed. Fact of the matter is, a school was bombed and nearly 200 killed. The admin out of one side of their mouth brags about how amazing their intelligence gathering capabilities are, but a school that has been there for years was an accident? Maybe it was, but again, either way, the damage has been done. And now trojan horse trump is threatening the population with hitting energy infrastructure. So yeah, I don't think they give two shits about human rights or suffering.

And we have a huuuuuge team from which to select from for future leaders. Rubio is the most obvious that IS very much the same thing. JD is still being groomed but Rubio is ready now. JD would be amazing after 4 years under Trump and 4 under Rubio, but I don’t know if the VP would willingly take that back seat. We should always remember what the previous democrat administrations did to us. Just think where this country was in 2022. I have to admit it took me a while to find sub stack with its like minded people that were helping each other to not feel so isolated. It was people like all over you that helped me through.

People pray everyday. They ask for help for their family, their friends or their personal problems. Maybe with an illness, an addiction, financially, or maybe a success in career, a life’s challenge. If we expect our prayers to be answered, or a miracle to heal a loved one, it’s often up to us to answer the prayers of someone else.

Miracles do happen. Everyday people get healed, they get sober, the right person comes into their life, they get a job they’ve been praying for.

For years my wife has participated in a team of people that transplant kidneys and livers into sick children. Part of this amazing process starts with a donor. Sometimes this miracle comes from a tragic loss of a child. Organs are taken with a procedure called a procurement. Then an organ is brought and transplanted into a sick child. So many times from a devastating loss, a new healthy life is created. My wife once told me of all the operations she has done over 40 years in an operating room, there’s nothing as satisfying as watching a dead grey kidney or liver be connected to a child and when the clamps are removed, the organ slowly becomes pink. The awesome feeling she said that gets a sick child that was destined to die a second chance to have a long fulfilled life is a true miracle. Thank God for all of these amazing angels!

Miracles happen around us everyday. Many times God uses ordinary people to create them. When people need help, motivation or a kind word, its many times up to us, regular people, our hands, to create these acts. They say if you create a miracle in someone’s life, even an act of kindness, you are much more likely to see a miracle or a prayer answered in your own life. It’s completely up to us. Thanks to all the people that helped me through my dark times. Hope you all have a nice weekend. J.Goodrich

As a living kidney donor I have never had a problem after donating. I am now 10 years post op. While in the screening process I met an electrical inspector who was also donating a kidney to someone he did not know. He is a hero to me as it was not a family member who was receiving his kidney.

I hope some who read this and are healthy enough will consider donating a kidney to someone in need. Living donor kidneys have the best chance of success.

Truthseeker's avatar

They are ALL living donors. A kidney must be harvested from a living donor or they are useless. The donors have to be alive when the organs are "harvested".

As a Medical Researcher for over 25 years, it is, in fact, murder by organ harvest when a heart, lungs, or liver are taken. Most live one-kidney donors will have catastrophic kidney failure at some point. There is a reason why we are created with two of them.

Please thank your wife and those that she works with for their amazing work. My 4 yr old grandson has been needing a liver transplant due to a rare childhood cancer. He has a living donor. The procedure was to take place Nov. 18. However, a last min. MRI revealed that the spots in his brain might be new cancer spots. Everything was put on hold until mid-May to see what another MRI will show. We VERY MUCH appreciate donors. Please pray for Connor who desperately needs that new liver.

Whatever treatment they offer in that sanitarium where Fetterman went for several months to cure his depression seems like real value for money. I recommend the program to all other Democrats. 😂😂😂

And Rand Paul. Sorry he was injured but time to exchange the victim card for the survivor card.

MayBella82's avatar

I think he is acting like a survivor and is grateful for the second chance he has been given by God. Amazing how an encounter with God will change your perception.

I perused several articles thus morning regarding Diego Garcia. None of them mentioned the information you did, Jeff. Interesting

dave walker's avatar

I don’t find it to be unusual, traditional media outlets and a lot of the media online don’t report anything that doesn’t fit the Orange Man BAD Narrative. I did see a segment on Fox News in the 5 AM hour. I didn’t know it was a joint base with Formerly Great Britain now Little Britain.

Dying to know: whose articles did you read? I'd like to read them too. Just for fun. 😃

Coleen and Mary Ann, he said in his interview with Mike Rowe thathe averages 5 hrs a day researching for C&C

Yes I heard that. But hmmm, sometimes it just SEEMS like he has an inside scoop. He's amazing.

...as usual. Another thing missing is a mass balance of oil and gas flows out of the region. Some of it is exiting via alternative routes, but it would be interesting to know exactly how much of what is going where.

Israel sent some missiles into Turkey and blamed Iran.

Maybe the UN can send inspectors to examine it, like the phoney gas attacks by Assad.

Seems like an effort to widen the war and spread fear to other countries like NATO who Trump needs now. Iran's only targets are local.

Uncle Juan's avatar

You mean Israel lies too?

DenverDad's avatar

No! Really? 🤣🤣🤣

DenverDad's avatar

Maybe testing their missile defense systems? Turkey supports the Muslim Brotherhood. Connection?

MayBella82's avatar

lol… I can’t believe you are still on here. You are so full of bologna.

James Goodrich's avatar

It sounds like Iran has built the best missiles Obama and Biden’s decision to send tax payers cash, by the plane load, to the Mullah’s can buy. You see all the good you get by electing socialist appeasing morons, ballistic missiles pointed at you!

VDHanson had a nice post on X making the same Trump-is-winning argument as Jeff. VDH argues that EU nations only join war efforts when the outcome is obvious - and now they're in, and betting on the US; that Mid-East Oil States have aligned with and increasingly support the US over Iran; and that even our choices of weapons demonstrate an increasing superiority over Iran's crumbled defenses. It seems Iran's desperate hopes rely on holding out longer than Trump will.

Nice to see real thinking out there, led by our own Jeff (again!), VDH (always wise), and others. Thanks! (*here's the link to the VDH post: https://x.com/MichaelARothman/status/2035004163969675353)

I love Victor Davis Hanson! He’s battle hardened and wise from decades of experience.

Annette kimball's avatar

He’s familiar with centuries of warfare!! He has a magnificent mind, speaks Greek, Latin, an probably more.! I’m a huge fan!

DenverDad's avatar

I used to like him but agree. Deep state. Jeff’s the best summarizer I’ve found.

Elaine Russky's avatar

I haven't listened to him much lately. Tell me why you think he's deepstate.

DenverDad's avatar

I can’t quote specifics. I still listen to him sometimes, and he shares decent info. I think it was Ukraine that I felt he was deceiving. It was months ago. I follow so much information I put a simple pin in my self-informed qualified opinion and once it becomes a waste of my time to track their content, because of fact checking that shows they’re cherry picking/deceptive and poor content, then they get labeled in my mind as a time saving effort. Tucker Carlson is there. Dan Bongino is a foul mouthed entertainer that means well. There are other experts I don’t listen to anymore like Gilbert Doctorow (weird art on his wall in interviews; sexual in nature) and Judge whats-his-face…Napolitano.

Corrin Strong's avatar

So the Mullahs lied about their missile range.

Who could have seen that coming?

Corrin Strong's avatar

It’s hard to see what you’re being paid not to see. Just ask Tucker!

Nikki (Gayle) Nicholson's avatar

Or Tucker so it seems 😵‍💫

Politico Phil's avatar

I do not for a minute believe the DoW did not know about the missiles. And suddenly we have pictures of these missiles on the mobile launch tractors... just all of a sudden?

mspring's avatar

I don't know about "all of a sudden", Amir Tsarafati has shown vids of similar missles on his telegram blog for months, often they are Iranian promos, so they show us themselves. Not a lot of value in DOW showing what they know, but they also don't detail what installations they are blowing up.

Politico Phil's avatar

OK, so these missiles are not a surprise to anyone except the public.

SD Scott's avatar

Thank you, lying media.

CK's avatar

Who is the US to demand what missiles Iran can have? Iran used them well AFTER they were attacked. How is this not obvious?

Fred's avatar

Short sighted I think. Self preservation, perhaps?

You want terrorists who admit to wanting “death for America” to have nuclear weapons? They were well on their way, and once they had that capability, you don’t think they would hold the world hostage? The radical Muslims believe it’s their duty to rid the world of infidels.

CK's avatar

First, I’m not a fan of Muslims for sure. But jews are by far the bigger threat. Muslims don’t believe Jesus is in hell boiling in his own feces and semen as jews believe. And Muslims are not in control of our country.

To the extent Muslims in the ME don’t like the US it’s because of our undying support for the terrorist state known as Israel. And the “death to America” chants were probably paid for by USAID.

Bill Pound's avatar

Jeff, I don't know how you do it. A daily dose of information like no other. Your sources elude us. Well, OK, we deliberately choose not to subscribe to the NY Times, and our local paper in Bozeman MT relies so heavily on the left-wing AP we skip it all except for truly local news. All I can say is THANK YOU.

A way too close to home article about family fracture . If I had a dollar for every time our daughter called us toxic. It was not just social media causing the family fracturing, but some of her friends, and two of our own family members. I'm sure we aren't the only ones victimized by this, especially in the times of the plandemic.

https://www.theepochtimes.com/opinion/when-families-fracture-6001174?

DaveL's avatar

It's endemic--happened with us, too. Parents work too much and rely too much on the education system for child-care. The whole trap sort of sneaked up on us.

Annette's avatar

The Marxist playbook has been steadily implemented for decades. Schools infiltrated with Marxist/Socialist ideologies. Kids vulnerable and gullible, and most of them take it hook, line, and sinker. Destroy the nuclear family. See yourself as an oppressed victim…primarily oppressed by your parents who did evil things to you like making you wear matching clothes to school, make your bed, and take music lessons.

It has certainly been one of Satan’s biggest successes in the modern era. Its consequences have devastated families and they are the bedrock of a nation.

Karmy's avatar

Satan’s aim has always been to destroy families. First with feminism, moved to abortion and now with our children.

There’s trend for young adults (male and female)to collect and accessorize with little stuffed animals. I think they’re called Labubus. I had read about it and saw it for the first time on a male Target cashier yesterday. He had several of them somehow strapped around his midsection.

I can’t even imagine what hardened radical Islamists infesting Western Civilization and waiting for the call must think about these men and women, who need their stuffed animals in order to function in the world.

There’s a generation of anxious, confused youth coming of age and it’s not a good look.

Teletubbies resurgence.

Willing Spirit's avatar

That’s a trend I knew nothing about. Did young adults wear them?

Elaine Russky's avatar

I didn't either. But they look like teletubbies from the 80s? 70s? After my childhood, anyway.

Glaring symptoms of a lost generation, crying out for help. Lord, let the ripple effects of revival in some of our cities and campuses extend out to these hopeless, fearful, insecure kids and young adults. It’s You they need; save them, O Lord🙏

Unfortunately it’s behind a paywall. I just sent a family email about this today with Easter weekend coming and one of my son’s arriving from Europe for the first visit in 1.5 years. There are currently three different family “cut-offs” preventing a full gathering. So incredibly sad!

Mr. Childers, your Top Down analysis of what the US is doing shows your four dimensional chess skills. If everyone else with an IQ of 100 or better could see this as well, there would be a lot more support across the board and the adults would be telling the children, "Shut up, sit down, and eat you oatmeal. The adults have this under control." Thanks for teaching so many what is right in front of them. I am with you.

Johnny-O's avatar

Too bad the average IQ in the US is under 100.....

This is so in control we had to pull back our navy, we still there 3 weeks later, Iran is still launching missiles and causing horrendous damage......the strait is closed. Yeah, the adults are doing great.
