It’s actually a little duster that I bought on Amazon, an inexpensive device that you squeeze to spray the dust out. I do that after we clean the straw out of the coop and of course the chickens are outside in the run. I try to pick a day that’s not too windy, but it helps to have a little breeze blowing it away from you as you spray to prevent inhaling the dust.
