Completely off-topic, but my very liberal daughter told me last night that she does not like Democrats anymore. She hasn’t quite come around to the Republican side, but that’s a really good sign! I’ve been praying for years. Drip drip drip. Fortunately, her husband is a right of center republican, so there is hope for my baby girl yet! Just wanted to share a little good news.

There does seem to be a lot of that going around as the Democrat platform shifts further and further toward the crazy. This is not JFK's Democrat platform, nor that of even the oldest of our congress-critters in that party. Today's Democrats are way off from most Americans, but are banking on the brand name. As people actually look at what they currently represent, more people are bailing.

That’s the ridiculous element in party politics: brand name

Honestly, there are people many people who remain loyal Mets fans, or Yankee fans, or Democrat fans or Republican fans for 30 years and don’t notice that the team players have changed and changed and changed and changed. The sports team mentality that has infected American politics is mindless. It would be nice if people took a close look at candidates and policies, and stopped waving banners.

Why were all these stadiums built and largely at public expense? Because they are centers of distraction. This has been known for decades, and as long ago as the 1940's. And I don't remember just who said it, but I was in my twenties when I first heard this. And I took note of it because people like George Orwell were saying such things.

The three things people know about are sports, all sorts of other entertainment and their jobs. And that is it. This 'life style' of particular focus is promoted by the people in power as part of the cattle herding operation which never stops. And by the way, even the 'main stream' legacy media is an entertainment operation.

It's a distraction for both "sides". The fake construct of a 2-party system is a distraction, who's sole purpose is to divide and conquer. Every. Single. Member of both the House & Senate is beholden to Israel (which is NOT the Israel of the Bible). Maybe not Thomas Massie, but, we saw what happened to him when he exposed the truth that APAC basically controls all of our "representatives". Can anyone, ANYONE tell me what "our greatest ally" has ever done for us?

Expand full comment
daverkb's avatar

Yeah! I can you what our Greatest Ally has done for us.

Our Greatest Ally has bled us dry, fueled the US War for Machine for Profit and Misery through its many NeoCon proxies. It has taken over the US government through its foreign lobby (the one that pretends to be a domestic lobby). It shot up the USS Liberty, has infiltrated and subverted Western Christianity by promoting the Judeo-Christian Hoax, and it had a participation in 911. This list could be greatly expanded, but basically ... our 'Greatest Ally' has made life miserable for just about everyone, including most of their own people.

Anyone who puts their own country, their own family first is an anti-Semite. Everyone gets hosed down with that, and I suspect the termites will come out of the walls over this post. However, let one of their own tell you the score. Don't take my word for it. Let the voice of experience speak. The candor in this video blew me out of my chair. And yet again, another all time Tucker great interview.

I used to be a big sports fan, until sports went woke and I lost enthusiasm and found other ways to spend my time. But I will say it used to be a great unifier. When the KC Royals won the 2015 World Series after a 30 year drought, I was amazed at the goodwill and camaraderie it engendered. Had a friend in town during one of the games and we went to a sports bar to watch - it was like the whole place was full of old friends, where people of all races, walks of life and political parties were talking with each other, hugging and cheering. Went to the WS parade and despite being packed like sardines in a crowd, after walking 2 miles to get there, it was the same vibe. Not one jerk in the bunch. But of course, sports no longer unites - pride nights, players spouting off, and so on. Of course the whole town is now in the throes of Chiefs mania, and I just shrug. They play at noon tomorrow, so plan to be out finishing my Christmas shopping, since it won't be crowded then.

Here's a little bit of mostly unknown history. In Calvin's day, the entrenched dominant ecclesiastic power in France would send in troops of musical and other entertainment in an attempt to distract the people in Geneva from learning, particularly the learning of the Reformation movement.

Elites have always wanted to keep the people stupidly in a stupor. That is why the powers that be of the day wrecked printing presses, made owning Bibles readable in one's own language a criminal offense punishable, up to and including death. Anything to thwart, undermine and derail the true learning of the masses. Look around America and say it ain't so!

That is why there was a fierce campaign to lock down social media to all but the Official Narrative.

I honestly think a big part of this shift is that we conservatives, who were raised and groomed to be nice and just take decades of liberal abuse under the guise of getting along, Finally woke up during Covid (and subsequently the open border) and said Eff You. We curated liberal friends and family out of our lives, we walked away from family members who spent countless hours trying to virtue signal, shame us and push us around, and most of all we ditched the MSM in favor of places like Substack and Rumble. The most effective among us looked at our adult kids and seriously asked ourselves- why are we letting our college indoctrinated liberal offspring bully us? They have not lived the years of life we have and most don't know crap. We've lived some life. We have more wisdom than they do.

I remember the first time Trump ran for office - adult children in basements everywhere were screaming and threatening their parents -- Rush covered this in some of his shows-- and I remember a dad who called in and said he told his liberal daughter that she could do whatever the hell she wanted except tell HIM what to do and that he was cutting her out of his will. It was glorious. No matter what happens going forward conservatives FINALLY understand the power they've always had and that they've been hamstringing themselves. God bless America.

Governor Ron D. says we don't need a Federal Pork Bill for disaster relief:

https://x.com/GovRonDeSantis/status/1869497840097173527

"Congress is attempting to deflect criticism of the grotesque CR by hiding behind disaster relief funding, a small fraction of this massive spending bill. This is an insult to Americans’ intelligence.

Since 2022, Florida has invested over $3.4 billion in Florida’s Emergency Preparedness and Response Fund and raised nearly $100 million into the Florida Disaster Fund, which is used for disasters that affect our state. Over the same time frame, while Florida has weathered several catastrophic hurricanes, we have still paid down $3.6 billion in tax-supported debt."

The lame duck Dems tried to ram 30 some bills in an overnight press. The Republicans walked out and two Dems refused to vote the bills through, no quorum so the bills died. Should be a happy ending but yesterday evening the bills were sent en masse to the Senate. They were not changed in any way, not read by any Senate members, just called to e voted on. The Dems still hold the majority in Michigan’s Senate as they are voted on in two years. One Republican Senator was tweeting about how unethical all of this is, but we have the evil Governor Whitmer, who will certainly sign all the bills. Not quite true in Michigan. Michigan’s Legislature was GOP led for 40 years until 2022 when a new bipartisan redistricting kicked in. The Republicans won back the House in 2025, but the Dems tried to shove every repulsive Liberal social scheme they could on this state. The last ditch effort failed in the House because the Republicans walked out and a few Dems left with them so no quorum, but leadership sent the bills unread to the Senate who is not lame duck and they were voting them through without even reading them. Unethical, unconstitutional, but they don’t care. They won’t make this state into Illinois, we are determined!

I think that’s what is happening - all over the internet / social media, there are millions of eyes looking through the β€œbills” & bringing the worst of them to everyone’s attention so people can swarm the politicians.

As Jeff pointed out, as soon as Trump saw the winds shifting on the original CR, within hours of that dropping, he demanded a cleaner CR.

Now, the fact that the much cleaner bill that Trump demanded also did not pass & 30 or 38 republicans voted w/ DemoncRATs speaks to what we may expect of the next 4 years, just like last time & despite the overwhelming mandate of the election….

I’m just here to say that both Mace and Massie had no problems extending Biden’s debt limit. But now that it’s Trumps, they find they are too principled. Massie was even the tie-breaker. Debt limit is a shell game. Trump can’t make even tax cuts without it being counted as new accrued debt because any actual cuts he makes with DOGE won’t be counted until later in the year. On a side note, Mace is a fed. Watch out for her. I liked Massie but now I’m left wondering about him.

Listen to the Tucker interview with Massie. It was very insightful. Massie is a one of a kind in Federal government. He wore a β€œdebt clock” lapel pin on his jacket showing the debt constantly rising. He said he wears it to remind himself why he stays in DC.

I suspect there is more to all this. There were other Republicans I like that voted with Massie. I’ll stick with him.

The "debt limit" was only meaningful when the USG operated on a credit system of real money - gold and silver. The US has been operating on a debt system of fiat money since 1913 when the USG literally hocked the productivity of the American people to the international banking system with the creation of the Federal Reserve and then chained the American people to these monetary vampires with the institution of direct taxation via the Fed Income Tax. BTW, both direct taxation and fiat money were and are forbidden by the US Constitution. So...

The debt limit is a smoke-and-mirrors game played by Congress to deceive us plebs... and just as meaningless. Massie knows this. Trump, who is ignorant of fiscal and monetary matters, has only got it half right (no thanks to his advisors): abolish the Fed Income Tax. The solution he has been advised by his counselors of using tariffs to finance the USG (to pay the debt to the international banking vampires) will throw the world into a tariff war, a worldwide depression and, at the very least, throw the US economy into a serious recession.

Armstrong is right: abolish the Fed Income Tax, abolish the Federal Reserve and get rid of the National debt by exchanging the debt for coupons that can only be invested back into the US economy. From that point forward, just print the money needed to finance the Federal budget. That's what they do anyway. Correct me if I get this wrong but the income tax only pays for about 17% of the US budget. The rest is financed by printing money. Just print all of it. Why are we paying interest to the international bankers on the national debt? I'll wait for an answer...

The national debt that we pay interest on stands in excess of $36 TRILLION. Why are we paying interest on that to the blood-sucking international bankers??? Get rid of it.

This would cause the biggest economic boom in history. All of the companies that fled the US because of onerous taxes will come back to the US. Armstrong succinctly describes the issues......................................

I am certainly no economist, but everything you said makes perfect sense to me. However, I doubt abolishing the Federal income tax will ever happen and certainly rid ourselves of the Federal Reserve Board. Too many Republicans like the set up as it is. And the Democrats are puppets being told what to do.

In the endI have no power over any of this, but God does. He saved Trump for a reason, we will see if we can chart a new course. I pray so.

The People need to learn the truth about the craftily worded 16A and propagandized, color of law enforcement of the Federal income tax. The Federal income tax doesn't need to be abolished, it just needs to be applied according to the letter of the IRS Code (U.S.C. Title 26).

Most Americans, but not all, do not have a Federal income tax liability.

Your education on the subject would be served well by a major investment of your time. Some ordinary, unassuming Americans don't pay Federal income tax. They figured out they don't have such a liability. I don't know your situation, but odds are you probably don't have a Federal income tax liability either. Here's to your education and freedom from one form of slavery🍷

LOL, no worries. Most "economists" are not real world economists either. This is especially true of credentialed, academic "economists" who are nothing more than mush-for-brains soft socialists paid to justify with their formulas and equations whatever the State wants to do. Think of economics as a national checkbook that has to be balanced and things become more clear.

As for abolishing the Federal Reserve and the national debt, that does not seem likely... at this time due to the fact that Trump's advisors do not want him exposed to what Armstrong is saying. If Armstrong can ever get an audience with Trump, then perhaps? He needs to understand that tariffs are going to be counter-productive.

I too have doubted that abolishing the income tax would actually happen but what I have seen transpire over the last few weeks has nearly knocked me out of my chair. The speed with which fundamental changes and power shifts have recently occurred I would never have thought as a possibility. So who knows? I now suspect that things are going to happen that are going to shock all of us. Whoever is behind Trump has been planning this for a long time and is wielding a tremendous amount of power. All the rats are feeling this seismic shift in the political ether and are scrambling for refuge... even in Europe. It's all very amazing. So stay tuned...

It does fit in nicely with the molasses testing.

There were 3 moles living in a hole. One day, they wake up to the smell of pancakes cooking. The first mole sticks his head out of the hole and says "I smell pancakes!" The second mole sticks his head out of the hole and says "I smell syrup!" The last mole tries to stick his head out of the hole, but gets stuck behind the other two, so he said "All I smell is molasses!"

This is the Patriot Act part II.

There was an ungodly amount of $$ going towards the rebuilding of the Francis Scott Keys bridge in Baltimore. Why is the nation getting tapped for something that we know who did it, we know that both the Port Authority and the Owners of the barge have insurance??

Perhaps the internet is now, finally, beginning to provide the social utility that was promised way back in the 90s. The idea that citizens can now read, analyze, and reach conclusions on pending legislation without having to rely on their, possibly, compromised representatives and follow that up with pressure on those representatives is a very good development.

Transparency has been forced upon Congress, and nothing in the US government will ever be the same. Vox populi!
