This isn't a huge conundrum. The new map was passed by popular vote and used for the primaries and should be used. Missouri Supreme Court is smoking crack and SCOTUS needs to immediately smack them down; not taking this up in the first place was egregious on Kavanaugh's part.
They have to, or there's going to be a breakdown of the rule of law when people start getting arrested for one court based on compliance with another court. That's the kind of thing which causes armed standoffs and civil unrest if the Supremes aren't willing to break the legal deadlock.
Honestly the judiciary in this country is out of control! Get rid of them all. They are not Constitutional. Only the US Supreme Court is Constitutional. The naming methodology goes back centuries. My family line--from Sweden and Norway, going back to the 17th Century, is full of "sons" and "dottirs". Many cultures have names that harken back to a father. The Spanish names ending in "ez" are "son of" as in Martinez=son of Martin.
