Sometimes what we think are small gestures of acceptance, that are forced on us, or being told this is normal behavior, or just go along with it, turn into some of the biggest issues in our lives. We seem to be tested every day, undercurrents slowly move us, subtlety pushed, nudged, little by little until we wake up one day and we see all of these small manipulations have turn into, take it or lose your job. It’s become very obvious there are certain groups that do these things to us to just see if we will allow it, how far can we push these common folk? Bad company surely corrupts good character. You know how medical staff, doctors, nurses, etc., at hospitals, were forced to take experimental injections like it or not. Or I’m sure you’ve heard about states allowing men into the ladies locker rooms and showers. Well I can tell you this takes place now.
My wife and her co workers are forced to allow an intact man, cross dresser, into their locker room where they change. As uncomfortable and abusive that this is no one can say a word or you will be fired for discrimination. Most every nurse in that locker room is completely uncomfortable and against this policy of being forced to change in front of a strange man. Slowly over time this manipulation became policy and if you speak up your fired. I’m not sure why the upper people in the hospital, let’s take the director of nursing is not forced to get undressed in front of this man as a gesture, showing that she is on board with forcing females to be abused in this way. If it’s such a good policy I think all of the management, directors, coordinators etc. should be forced to undress in front of this man with make up fake hair and fake breasts. Does my being uncomfortable not have the same stature as a man with gender dysphoria who says he’s uncomfortable changing in the men’s locker room. Do children that have major or minor procedures done need this type of controversial situation thrown in front of them while getting a procedure done?

The nurses should quit en masse - and if they lack the courage, then those who disagree with the policy should quit. The third option, that may or may not be more beneficial, is to speak up and be fired. No one is going to save us but ourselves. This is not only a test of whether the women will allow it - but a test of their commitment to what is right.
At some point the question becomes: if not this, then what will cause an employed person to quit their job. There are abundant parallels to what occurred in Nazi Germany - especially behavior by nurses.

Why are the women told they are the ones who have to accommodate the man? Why do we not hear of men complaining about women using their bathrooms and locker rooms ? Is it because all the trans people want to use women’s spaces? Trans rights are incompatible with women’s rights. One can’t support both.

I (now retired), was self employed (realtor) so when I say I agree I will be honest in saying I was not in a position to need to quit a job ... realtors could still do their jobs but with ridiculous rules (I lived in SoCal then with some of the worst covid restrictions) .... so I can't speak to making a choice if in that situation your wife and daughter were BUT I would like to think I would have quit. I boycott by my non-presence and non-support, many things these days....now living in a small coastal town in Oregon, one of THE worst states in this nation. It gets easier all the time. I MUST STAND FOR TRUTH. In my head I literally imagine what I would do if someone came up to me, pointed a gun at my head and said "Do you believe in God?" I practice the YES. As horrific as that sounds, I would enter into the presence of God immediately if they pulled the trigger. We know that already goes on in many parts of the world. May God have mercy on us during these times.
There is a film (2019 Terrence Malick) called "A Hidden Life" which address this issue. It is the story of an Austrian farmer who refused allegence to Hitler on moral grounds and the price he paid, ultimately death. It is beautifully filmed in the Austrian Alps and without the beauty, his story would be impossible to watch. What this man underwent for his faith will give one pause, thinking could I have been this courageous?
Wow that sounds amazing but difficult to watch. I’ve prayed about this scenario too, that a moment of pain would bring eternity with Him. Then I go off on tangents, what about slightly more painful circumstances, etc and have to just trust the Lord that the words and strength will be there for me if and when I need it. I read the series ‘Left Behind’ which is a fictional story about the end times and it has several of these scenes which help. I’m glad I’m not the only one thinking about such things. They are getting more ‘real’.

I was a nurse (LPN) back in the old days (early 1990’s) and took a break to have a baby and stay home for a few years, but ended up having 4 babies (staying home for 17 years) and never returned to nursing. I realize now that I could NOT be a nurse in today’s world…so sad.

I never returned either. I was Computer Science and Software Design. I couldn’t even stay working at our church for the part time position in the Finance dept that I tried when I realized I wasn’t returning to my career. I lasted three months 😆. We are talking about the choices people make in life to stand up for values Taking a stand is inconvenient - but failure to do so leads to authoritarianism. The role nurses play in standing up, is vital. There are plenty of historical cases of failure of healthcare workers in to do the right thing because they didn't want to inconvenience themselves by quitting. That lead to the death of and intentional killing of patients in Nazi Germany. The same result was achieved during Covid. In this case, it is tolerating a biological male in private women's dressing rooms, locker rooms, etc.

A lot of these nurses have families, kids, and they provide the benefits through the hospital for their family. Many of them including their family have medical issues so again they are forced to comply with these authoritarian policies. This guy is an anesthesiologist so it also could be looked at as an issue of status! Pretty much he’s a doctor and from what I understand he’s not very good.
Again, they are not forced. There are plenty of other employers. We are a country filled with excuses about why we don't do the right thing - why others fight our battles for us. It is why we find ourselves here. These attitudes lead to societal and national collapse. People must stop looking for a hero "out there" and find it within themselves. Re just get another job -- In S Oregon there is basically one hospital organization that controls the facilities in Ashland, Medford and Grants Pass. I do not know their policies but if someone were to quit, there is NOT another similar job that can be obtained without moving a fair distance. If you have a family this would not be a simple process.

Lori--I wish it were so simple for the nurses to organize and quit. I have a story: I was once a part of a group of doctors who organized and quit an HMO. I think we all had the best of intentions at that time. But what happened next, I never saw coming. The HMO administrator went individually and secretly to each of the doctors and offerred them a HUGE sum of money to see the HMO patients. It was just too inticing, and when many of the doctors agreed, the whole boycott failed. The HMO administrators had come to me and offerred me the same deal, and I had stuck to my guns, thinking all the other doctor would too, but not everyone is the same as me. And once the HMO had enough doctor on board, everything reverted back to what it had been, with all the same problems. So you can see how the nurses might fear the consequences of trying to do the right thing.
If you live in fear, nothing will ever get done. For one's sanity and dignity, you quit if there is a man in the women's locker room. No more excuses, no more wait and see. We have waited too long and are now seeing what is happening to all of us.

A friend working at an office in the 60s had a policy of no pantsuits for women. One day a gal wore one and was sent home to change. The next day every woman in the office wore a pantsuit. That rule ended. They should make this man and hospital ridiculous to all. All nurses en mass be part of it.

There's enough of a nursing shortage that your wife likely has many other options. Speaking up and getting fired might lead to a large bolus income down the road, but might slow down the ability to get another job by a month or 2. If she quietly leaves for another job, she has the option of going back to the prior employer when attrition causes them wise up and create a separate locker room for the person who wants to be a girl.
Nearly 4 years ago, I was able to leave the practice of pharmacy entirely by living simply and cutting expenses by 2/3. This also cut tax payments to the IRS by a great deal. (My opinion of the FDA remains very low).
(Years ago, I had been fired for doing-no-harm, and it took 3 months to get another pharmacy job, because I told the prospective employers that I had been fired and the manner in which I would continue to do-no-harm, so as to assure a good match.)

Sometimes what we think are small gestures of acceptance, that are forced on us, or being told this is normal behavior, or just go along with it, turn into some of the biggest issues in our lives. We seem to be tested every day, undercurrents slowly move us, subtlety pushed, nudged, little by little until we wake up one day and we see all of these small manipulations have turn into, take it or lose your job. It’s become very obvious there are certain groups that do these things to us to just see if we will allow it, how far can we push these common folk? Bad company surely corrupts good character. You know how medical staff, doctors, nurses, etc., at hospitals, were forced to take experimental injections like it or not. Or I’m sure you’ve heard about states allowing men into the ladies locker rooms and showers. Well I can tell you this takes place now.
My wife and her co workers are forced to allow an intact man, cross dresser, into their locker room where they change. As uncomfortable and abusive that this is no one can say a word or you will be fired for discrimination. Most every nurse in that locker room is completely uncomfortable and against this policy of being forced to change in front of a strange man. Slowly over time this manipulation became policy and if you speak up your fired. I’m not sure why the upper people in the hospital, let’s take the director of nursing is not forced to get undressed in front of this man as a gesture, showing that she is on board with forcing females to be abused in this way. If it’s such a good policy I think all of the management, directors, coordinators etc. should be forced to undress in front of this man with make up fake hair and fake breasts. Does my being uncomfortable not have the same stature as a man with gender dysphoria who says he’s uncomfortable changing in the men’s locker room. Do children that have major or minor procedures done need this type of controversial situation thrown in front of them while getting a procedure done?

The nurses should quit en masse - and if they lack the courage, then those who disagree with the policy should quit. The third option, that may or may not be more beneficial, is to speak up and be fired. No one is going to save us but ourselves. This is not only a test of whether the women will allow it - but a test of their commitment to what is right.
At some point the question becomes: if not this, then what will cause an employed person to quit their job. There are abundant parallels to what occurred in Nazi Germany - especially behavior by nurses.
Since 2020 many have pretended there is no difference between: "Do it or you'll lose your job" and "do it or we'll kill you." The opposition fought this ballot measure with the tag line "equal rights, not special rights". Well, here we are, issuing special rights to a mentally disturbed group consisting mostly of biological males. The ride down the slippery slope has been long and gets faster as we near the bottom.

I (now retired), was self employed (realtor) so when I say I agree I will be honest in saying I was not in a position to need to quit a job ... realtors could still do their jobs but with ridiculous rules (I lived in SoCal then with some of the worst covid restrictions) .... so I can't speak to making a choice if in that situation your wife and daughter were BUT I would like to think I would have quit. I boycott by my non-presence and non-support, many things these days....now living in a small coastal town in Oregon, one of THE worst states in this nation. It gets easier all the time. I MUST STAND FOR TRUTH. In my head I literally imagine what I would do if someone came up to me, pointed a gun at my head and said "Do you believe in God?" I practice the YES. As horrific as that sounds, I would enter into the presence of God immediately if they pulled the trigger. We know that already goes on in many parts of the world. May God have mercy on us during these times.

There is a film (2019 Terrence Malick) called "A Hidden Life" which address this issue. It is the story of an Austrian farmer who refused allegence to Hitler on moral grounds and the price he paid, ultimately death. It is beautifully filmed in the Austrian Alps and without the beauty, his story would be impossible to watch. What this man underwent for his faith will give one pause, thinking could I have been this courageous?

Wow that sounds amazing but difficult to watch. I’ve prayed about this scenario too, that a moment of pain would bring eternity with Him. Then I go off on tangents, what about slightly more painful circumstances, etc and have to just trust the Lord that the words and strength will be there for me if and when I need it. I read the series ‘Left Behind’ which is a fictional story about the end times and it has several of these scenes which help. I’m glad I’m not the only one thinking about such things. They are getting more ‘real’.

As we practice the scriptures on the daily (the 10 commandments for example) we must also add this .... practice the YES ..... weirdly a bit in shock that we are discussing this .... but we saw it coming with COVID. I knew within three weeks they were lying. I stood my ground then. Thus the practice began. May God grant us His Peace during these times.

I was a nurse (LPN) back in the old days (early 1990’s) and took a break to have a baby and stay home for a few years, but ended up having 4 babies (staying home for 17 years) and never returned to nursing. I realize now that I could NOT be a nurse in today’s world…so sad.

The role nurses play in standing up, is vital. There are plenty of historical cases of failure of healthcare workers in to do the right thing because they didn't want to inconvenience themselves by quitting. That lead to the death of and intentional killing of patients in Nazi Germany. The same result was achieved during Covid. A lot of these nurses have families, kids, and they provide the benefits through the hospital for their family. Many of them including their family have medical issues so again they are forced to comply with these authoritarian policies. This guy is an anesthesiologist so it also could be looked at as an issue of status! Pretty much he’s a doctor and from what I understand he’s not very good.
Again, they are not forced. There are plenty of other employers. We are a country filled with excuses about why we don't do the right thing - why others fight our battles for us. It is why we find ourselves here. These attitudes lead to societal and national collapse. People must stop looking for a hero "out there" and find it within themselves. There are only so many Pierre Korys, Paul Mariks, Mark Trozzis and countless other healthcare workers. People should ask themselves, "What if I were fired?" Their answer would be they'd make it work.
Re just get another job -- In S Oregon there is basically one hospital organization that controls the facilities in Ashland, Medford and Grants Pass. I do not know their policies but if someone were to quit, there is NOT another similar job that can be obtained without moving a fair distance. If you have a family this would not be a simple process.

Lori--I wish it were so simple for the nurses to organize and quit. I have a story: I was once a part of a group of doctors who organized and quit an HMO. I think we all had the best of intentions at that time. But what happened next, I never saw coming. The HMO administrator went individually and secretly to each of the doctors and offerred them a HUGE sum of money to see the HMO patients. It was just too inticing, and when many of the doctors agreed, the whole boycott failed. The HMO administrators had come to me and offerred me the same deal, and I had stuck to my guns, thinking all the other doctor would too, but not everyone is the same as me. And once the HMO had enough doctor on board, everything reverted back to what it had been, with all the same problems. So you can see how the nurses might fear the consequences of trying to do the right thing.
If you live in fear, nothing will ever get done. For one's sanity and dignity, you quit if there is a man in the women's locker room. No more excuses, no more wait and see. We have waited too long and are now seeing what is happening to all of us.

FWIW: I grew up in a union household. My dad was a craft union member for about 50 years. I attended union meetings with him from the age of 10 well into my high school years. I know, at first hand, what benefits unions bring and what damage they can do to the member and to his employer, to say nothing of the damage to the public done by government union members - whose authority to organize lies in an EO issued by JFK and could, presumably, be revoked by a DJT EO - and by healthcare employee unions.

There's enough of a nursing shortage that your wife likely has many other options. Speaking up and getting fired might lead to a large bolus income down the road, but might slow down the ability to get another job by a month or 2. If she quietly leaves for another job, she has the option of going back to the prior employer when attrition causes them wise up and create a separate locker room for the person who wants to be a girl.
Nearly 4 years ago, I was able to leave the practice of pharmacy entirely by living simply and cutting expenses by 2/3. This also cut tax payments to the IRS by a great deal. (My opinion of the FDA remains very low).
(Years ago, I had been fired for doing-no-harm, and it took 3 months to get another pharmacy job, because I told the prospective employers that I had been fired and the manner in which I would continue to do-no-harm, so as to assure a good match.)

I agree, however, I put Kyrie and Djokovic above Rogers. Rogers was one of the biggest names in NFL football and was quiet until he was called out by the press. You can also find his video online voicing support for "poor" felon George Floyd back when that went down. After doing lots of research, I'm voting for Collins, but sure wish Trump hadn't endorsed RINO Donalds.
