I've heard several reports saying the government & military are becoming more religious. Reports say the desire to rebuild the Temple is gaining momentum. The only way to do that is by removing the Dome of the Rock mosque. If that were attempted it's very likely massive war will engulf the Middle East. Another aspect is they want to return to animal sacrifices.
I can't verify any of that but it sounds possible; it's an amazing time to be alive.
I love God but I told Him I take issue with Him requesting animal sacrifices. The Old Testament makes me sad with all the animals dying and not in humane ways.
You can't love animals any more than I do, maybe the same but not any more. With that said, every time I read/hear Biblical references concerning animal sacrifices, it saddens me that our sin is why it is necessary; and I can't understand any of it. Yet God gave us animals and the capacity to love them, more amazingly He gave them the ability to, in their way, love us. It's all sooooo fascinating!
But it all points to the reality that God, our Creator sent His Son and allowed Him to be sacrificed and then raised Him from the dead; which is where my hope is. That makes the killing of animals meaningless; and I don't understand most of it. But I whole-heartedly believe it.
Every day we get closer to finding out the complexities of it all. 🤠
As a healer of our animals great and small, I love animals more than I love myself. God does not need anything so the sacrifice of those He created and loves completely leaves me gobsmacked. I do believe they have Souls and they will be in Heaven with us. Many having near death experiences have seen their pets in the Light and have even held them (though they were weightless). I am not sure the intricacies of all that but God will and has tended to the details. He always does:} May God bless you and keep you CC and all those you love for our days are short here and we need to make the most of them!
Personally I'm aware that I am a speck, living on a speck in the Universe, God created. I'm living in the reality He placed me/us in for a reason, and I know only what He wants me to know. That awareness tells me I have no say in how it's structured.
I hope you won't try to do what a lot of people do, trying to bring God down to our level. It won't work, plus, if it did God would be no better than Jeffery Epstein, Bill & Hillary, Gates or Fauci; etc ... . Thankfully they are only equal to God in their twisted minds.
Every time my wolves, I have 8, howl (which they are currently doing) I like to think they are praising our Creator. I know that's what I'm doing when I howl.
Tell the wolves I send a huge hello! And yes, I agree, they are praising God or saying Good Night to Him. I have no doubt God smiles at such moments. You are blessed to spend time with such magnificent animals. I am a speck too and you are right, we only know what He wants us to know. I would not bring God to our level as what a mishegoss that would be, no way! He is my best friend, confidant and steadfast companion along with being my Lord! Sleep well CC!
I passed the word, their tails wagged. Now they are waking me up, I'm not as crazy about those howls. 😎 I agree, they are magnificent, and very affectionate, I marvel at their spirit, and individualism. Nothing but big babies, the largest is 150 & the smallest around 85 pounds.
Yep, not a pretty sight at that point, but my hands will be clean from the licking that would follow. Too bad we can't post pictures here, these guys are beautiful. The two in my picture, the one on left was an 8 year old hound, & the one on the right was 1.5 year old wolf, have both died; time flies ya know.

The animals were not “sacrificed“, they were “offered“ and if not accepted, then fed to the priests.
