I have thought it extremely out of character for the media not to have dug up anything on the parents post assassination attempt. They were both stated to be mental docs which makes one wonder if they renewed the MK Ultra research on their own son?! Did the press ever confirm the parent's political alignment or how they came do discover missing artillery and how quickly they reported it missing ? Such as, did the son leave the gun safe door hanging open or did they check their stock daily and notice they were short changed on the day their son took a long drive? Had their son had a history of mental issues? If so, it is peculiar that the son would have a code to access to such artillery. So many unanswered questions that journalists used to hound after.
