“But Yahweh is in His holy temple.

Let all the earth be silent before Him.”

— Habakkuk 2:20

For it is written,

“As I live, says the Lord, to Me every knee shall bow,

And every tongue shall confess to God.”

So then each one of us will give an account of himself to God.

— Romans 14:11-12

Therefore, God also highly exalted Him, and bestowed on Him the name which is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee will bow, of those who are in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and that every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

— Philippians 2:9-11

He is still on the throne. I’ll raise a hallelujah! And two years from now, if He tarries, the 2028 president will have something’s to work with that President Trump has started. Look up to the sky, our Redemption draweth nigh!

It won’t let me like it, but I love your comment, Janice. God is in control. He puts governments in and he takes them out. The fact that Republicans didn’t go to the polls because they were pissed off that’s on them. Having temper tantrums like a lot of people in the comments I’ve noticed isn’t going to change anything or help anything. We had to do nothing Congress. And God is in controlled. ✝️ keep praying keep repenting and don’t give up hope🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

As we think of all the movers and shakers in our world—from the US Congress to the British Parliament to the Chinese Communist Party and everybody in between—the fact is that for all their power and influence, God holds their proud attempts at power in derision. In His sovereignty, He is working all things together for His own glory through His Son, Jesus. The twenty-four-hour news cycle won’t stop Him bringing His plan to completion.

Then again, neither will our own antagonism! And since, apart from knowing forgiveness through faith in Christ, we are alienated and hostile, we will do well to heed the warning, which comes to us just as it comes to the movers and shakers.

I often think of how El Salvador leadership is the glowing example of an entire nation recognizing and submitting to God’s power, control, and sovereignty, not forcing it on the individual but embracing it at the national level of leadership - and He healed their lands. Here in America Satan has infiltrated our churches. Our pastors and priests did not prepare the congregations to recognize false prophets and became too entangled with secular influences. Our nation is reaping the punishment of that.

MarshaLouise's avatar

True, and don’t forget how Bukele cleaned up the Justice system.

Carolyn's avatar

I don't agree with you always but this is right on the money. HE gave us instructions to follow for HIM to heal our lands and we failed. We have been warned many times in the Bible what would befall us in the later days. HE has told us HE will make time go faster so the elite are not lost. Believe HIM. Trust HIM. HE is the answer. Those that support the dem platform whether they voted for dems or stayed home and didn't vote republican have dirty hands and WILL be held accountable to GOD. They think HE is not because HE hasn't destroyed them yet. HE wants no one to perish but all to be saved. HE gives opportunities for everyone to return to HIM. We will see what GOD has planned. HE is our only hope and the only answer. Do not let this steal your joy in the LORD.

I have heard that elections won't save America. We are in God's hands. Perhaps this is a Red Sea moment. The Israelites are fleeing Egypt. They are at the Red Sea with the Egyptian's at their back. Before the Sea splits. Night time doesn't look so great. In the morning a different story. The Sea is split and they walk through on dry land. Maybe we are in the night before our Red Sea moment. Let's show up in the world with prayer and praise in our hearts. Be there for our friends family neighbors etc. Let's see what unfolds.

Acts 3:19 - "Repent therefore, and turn again, that your sins may be blotted out, that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord,"

A million unborn children a year doesn't bring about national blessing. A true spiritual awakening needs to occur. There are too many lovers of darkness.

John 3:19 - "And this is the judgment, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil."

Julie Ann B's avatar

Thank you, Janice. We always need to go back to the Truth; our Almighty God, our creator and redeemer, still sits on the throne. Let us turn to Him and His Word and follow Him!

WOW! This Jesus guy sounds alot like Trump.

Bard Joseph's avatar

Jeff compares the Trump loss to going back to 30AD when Christ dumped Yahweh. Odd comparison.

It doesn't take Sherlock's avatar

One God in three persons (Trinity), the Second Person of the Trinity has two natures: divine and human. God can't 'dump' Himself. God allowed the Jerusalem temple to be destroyed because Jesus was the one true sacrifice that could atone for all time. There was no need for animal sacrifice to continue. That was only pointing forward to the time of Christ.

Hosea 6:6 - “For I desire steadfast love and not sacrifice, the knowledge of God rather than burnt offerings.”

1 Samuel 15:22 - “Has the Lord as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the Lord? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to listen than the fat of rams.”

Isaiah 1:11 - “What to me is the multitude of your sacrifices? says the Lord; I have had enough of burnt offerings of rams and the fat of well-fed beasts; I do not delight in the blood of bulls, or of lambs, or of goats.”

Micah 6:6–8 - The prophet asks what God requires (burnt offerings, thousands of rams, rivers of oil, or even a firstborn child?), then answers:

“He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?”

No. 6's avatar

My most favorite biblical quote of all time: “He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?”

Micah rocks!

Jeff writes:

I dont know if he has been on a PSYOP all along or not. But one thing is clear, he never touched the fraud which has stolen the last remaining Constitutional Republic.

Recently I said we were about to be severely tested. That time has come with the complete and total theft of this election. So, who will be the last ones standing. They are not going to give the country back.

We are finally going to have to start stealing elections too or worse.

shayne's avatar

Loads of fraud going on this time too. I saw a woman on the news this morning saying, the machine kept changing her vote to democrat when she voted.....😏

Dan (100% All in MAGA)'s avatar

Fraud everywhere. In Az they stole every state level seat, fed seats and only left known uniparty rinos.

Hobbs won 56-43. Bullshit!

WTPuck's avatar

It didn't seem like fraud - just incompetence?

Stealing elections is a highly unwelcome concept in my book ... but you do you.

The Constitution protects us if we will only learn more about it and actually use it.

Lebo Von Lo-Debar's avatar

Well, that will never happen...the democrat&republican PARTY has done a good job of dumbing Americans down enough to vote for them, 180 million and counting.

~

The democrat&republican "Usefool Voter" does not know that the two-party system is unconstitutional, because they have no critical thinking skills.

~

It isn't an insult it is a fact. Think about it...it takes no critical thinking to step into a voting booth and hit all the d's or r's.

Dan (100% All in MAGA)'s avatar

Then call it winning elections. They think it perfectly ok to fill the registration lists with illegals, vote for them and any dem who is registered and did not vote or any repub, indy, etc who did not vote. with mail in ballot fraud.

If by the Constitution you mean using our 2A right to overcome tyranny/treason, im with you. If anyone expects gov to undo this, they are severely delusional.

This disaster is 100% caused by the Iran stupidity

Its not bad messaging or bad framing

Its not because of a lack of pointing out all the other wins

Its not because the media lied about the war (though they naturally do so as a matter of course)

It was because the single most important campaign promise "No more stupid foreign wars" was flagrantly broken

Nothing, I repeat nothing has been more devastating to the United States than the warmongers and the stupid wars they get us in

You can try to say 'well conservatives should have gotten out there and voted' but that would not have changed things meaningfully, because the swingy people that swung to bring Trump 2.0 would not (and obviously did not) tolerate yet another stupid foreign war that has no benefit to us.

Particularly when the war is 100% entered in based on provable lies from a foreign power, done specifically to benefit that foreign power, and without regard to the harm it would do to normal everyday Americans.

No we have not been saved from 'nuclear Iran'

The government of Iran was not trying to make a bomb.

It doesn't matter how many times the foreign President who is an enemy of MAGA comes over here and lies about it.

And no this is not "well you just don't have the intelligence info the President has"

Every single one of the President's NS advisors told him so, repeatedly. They also told him "this won't be done in a week or two" Did they have the wrong intelligence?

People on the Right need to understand that the government of Israel and the Zionist cultists who push this stuff are the Deep State/swamp.

They are business as usual in Washington.

They are the enemy of MAGA.

They are not our friends.

And because someone is gonna say it "They shout 'Death to America' all the time"

So? The warmongers who just got what they wanted have been shouting 'Death to Iran' almost as long as I've been alive.

And I'm a whole lot more worried about all the leftists here in the US shouting 'Death to America' - they (unlike Iran) constitute an actual immenent threat.

Once we had dealt with them, maybe we can have thought about Iran - and we'd have been ok in doing that because they weren't actually making a bomb.

FloridaTransplant's avatar

Not my writing, found it on X but found it interesting: “Trump knew Iran could cost the midterms. But he did it anyway. Because he knows that the Iranian mullahs are theocratic madmen who are trying to build nuclear weapons so they can use them on the USA and Israel, precipitating Armageddon so the Hidden Imam will arise from a well in Qom and force what’s left of humanity to convert to Shia Islam. So Trump had to choose. Win the midterms or save humanity? He chose wisely. Historians will eventually acknowledge this reality.”

Richard Whitney's avatar

They didn't brag. During negotiations they told the truth about amount of enriched uranium they had, as part of the negotiations where they agreed to reduce the amount. Our media twisted that, because that is what our media does.

I understand that an American can't understand the concept of honesty in negotiations. Truth and cooperation are not part of the national ethos.

Instead, you cheer on an unprovoked attack on the leadership as they met to discuss the progress.

And they you brag about how they never saw it coming. Why would they?

That kind of perfidy is generally disdained by civilized people.

Mrs. RW

GregWA's avatar

Everyone knows how to make a nuke...the secret's been out ever since Oppie turned. What everyone does NOT have is the material (enriched uranium or weapons grade plutonium). It's that simple: figure out who's trying to acquire the material and stop them. Or let them. It's a choice. But the facts are simple: there is no reason to go after highly enriched uranium except to make bombs.

"Persians are far more technologically advanced than the Norks"

Iran has been preparing for THIS war since 1947.

Every bad thing that has happened to Iran since the end of WW2, the wars, the dictators, the oppression, the invasions, the Mullahs, the droughts, has all been orchestrated and manipulated by City of London, using their private military attack dogs, the U.S.

All because Iran kicked British Petroleum out of Iranian oil fields after WW2. So City of London, the financial headquarters of the Evil, had the U.S. overthrow that Iranian government and gave Iraq everything it needed to invade Iran. Forcing decades of war and oppression onto the Iranian people.

British Petroleum is coming for Iranian oil. And when the Iranians started building weapons, Trump imposed sanctions on them.

And when they persisted Trump bombed them.

And then Trump attacked Iran.

Larry Johnson did a good outline (obviously written before the war) titled:

"Iran Does Not Hate Americans… But it Has Legitimate Reasons to Do So"

https://larrycjohnson.substack.com/p/iran-does-not-hate-americans-but?

"Well, look, we're making a lot of money. The defense companies are doing great." - Donald Trump

And who owns the Defense Industry?

City of London.

Garden Lover's avatar

So, when the Iranian regime yells “Death to America”, it really means, “We love you .”

Got it.

Patty's avatar

I was 15 when the Iran hostages were taken. I remember what a huge deal that was. When Trump went after Iran he failed to sell the American people on the necessity of this war. That’s his failure.

It became too much like the “Weapons of Mass Destruction” in Iraq. He hadn’t learned from Bush’s mistakes.

But I think the biggest problem is poor choices in candidates. It’s really hard to get excited about a Rhino who has a history of supporting stupid stuff yet campaigns as a conservative.

When was the last time DOGE was mentioned? Why didn’t Trump throw his weight behind the SAVEs act?

I think Trump has done a lot of great work but if he worked as hard campaigning for milquetoast on the matters that are most important to his base we wouldn’t be here.

Now that they have power, the Dems will self-destruct in a 6 - Sigma watershed event as they lead America into war with Russia (neocons win again). In 2028, Americans will reject both D/R and will turn to a third party. A reckoning is coming.

The Election Wipeout

Posted Nov 4, 2026 By Martin Armstrong

....this is showing what we expected. Of course, the Democrats are cheering and assume they will already win the White House in 2028. We do not see that, but there is going to be a sharp rise in 3rd party in 2028...

....Zelensky started bombing the refineries in Russia and basically gave the finger to Trump. The Democrats cheer that and are so braindead they have no idea that is going to create food shortages, supply chain disruption, and send prices higher. They just won because Trump listened to Netanyahu and Kushner and took us into Iran. This is what brought down the Republicans because Americans are tired of endless wars...

....The Democrats will drag us into war with Russia. About 62% of Democrats see Russia as an enemy of the U.S., according to a 2025 Pew Research survey all thanks to Hillary...

True. There is a difference in the parties though. Because of Trump's betrayal on war, Epstein, and anemic CDC/FDA reform, we get the gun-grabbers back in power. I'm sure when we lose the 2nd amendment, the Trump worshippers won't place the blame where it belongs. Trump was so bad even lifelong conservatives like my wife and I stayed home yesterday. First election we've skipped, ever. Everyone should be repulsed by a man who threatens to wipe out a civilization, at the behest of the Zionist lobby.

This is why Americans are mentally moving to a third party as the following demonstrates:

"...A Gallup poll from late 2023 found that 63% of Americans agreed that the Republican and Democratic parties do “such a poor job” that “a third major party is needed.” This was a record high and a 7-point increase from the previous year . Support among Republicans for a third party jumped significantly to 58%. Again, this was confirming the computer forecast from 2020. The same results thereafter have been consistent. I would suspect by the end of 2027, this may reach 70%+..."

First, the two party lock on the rules needs to be undone somehow, as it is virtually impossible to get a 3rd party candidate on ballots nationwide (let alone statewide) thanks to the rules the two parties (or duopoly, if you will) have put in place over the years. It could still be possible if enough people got behind the same 3rd party, but I don't see that happening anytime soon. Hopefully I'm wrong.

I think you are beginning to comprehend Biblical teaching, John.

Now to understand that Israel survives and the United States doesn't, you will have the big picture. Replacement theology is a lie from the den of Satan. Countries and economies will collapse. The cry for a world leader will continue to grow.

Israel and United States agreed long ago to go their separate ways on defense spending, all those dollars circulated right back into American businesses and politicians pockets.

'Peace in the Middle East' a noble cause and also a temporary proposition, will lull many to complacency. But necessary for the final battle, to be fought by God alone.

Exciting times indeed!

Liz LaSorte's avatar

Actually, "it's the government, stupid." Government makes everything worse! Get the government out of everything and then, maybe, we have a chance. A few examples:

1) Healthcare costs more after Medicare/Medicaid/"Affordable" Care Act

2) Colleges cost more after government guaranteed student loans since the schools still get their money, even for BS degress,

3) government in the mortgage business? Toxic debt disaster!

4) Secondary schools - Dept. of Ed from 1980 - kids are dumber and more brainwashed than ever.

5) Covid-19 BS

6) All the wars since Vietnam were based on lies to be very, very afraid. It's BS!

Bottom line is that the government that gives us everything is the same government that can take it all away.

Politico Phil's avatar

Not that we bombed Iran, we stayed too long and cut off world oil supply raising gas prices. Hitting their nuke and military facilities then leaving was the strategy; regime change through economic sanctions were useless.

Gas prices stayed high due to oil companies taking massive profits, rather than reducing their price in accordance with availability.

Wrong! We don't have the refining capacity due to California and Russia being offline! Cal Governor drove out 6 refineries with regulations and massive taxation called 'Cap and Trade'. Trump said no new wars, but due to the influence of neocon warmongers and Zionists (but I repeat myself) Trump gave us a new war that is resulting in the removal of the US’s power & influence in the Middle East, and may also result in the opening of the nuclear weapon Pandora’s box. Jeff is great at analyzing the domestic political situation, but his refusal to consider the importance of foreign affairs (particularly unnecessary use of violence to payoff the MIC and Zionists) is an unforced error. I'm just now allowing myself to hear of some of the "losses". Some I am having a hard time believing, like in Michigan, which I was sure Rogers would win. What happened? Was I simply too naive, too positive, too sure that citizens would do their civic duty and vote? Are the younger generations really this brainwashed? Was it that many Bible believers did not think they should vote? Is the voter fraud still this pervasive? Are we under judgement from on High?

Yes, midterms historically go against the incumbent President, I understand. And Trump is still President, and has the power of the veto. But many of us are weary of the ongoing war against corruption, lies and enemy infiltration into our institutions and agencies. I hear the phrase "MAGA is dead". I do not accept that.

Seth Keshel has a good response this morning. And he also cited a verse from 2 Timothy, 1:7, short and appropriate. And I'm sure I will feel better after reading Jeff's take.

Recently many governments have warned their citizens to prepare for emergencies with a 72 hour supply of essentials. Maybe 72 days is more appropriate. I hope I have a better attitude in a month or two.

Of all the races, the MI one was the most suspicious. Rogers got more votes than any candidate ever before- blew all the records, but Al-Sayed surpassed that. The other ones didn’t seem so suspicious. I’m in NC and Whatley did not get the guidance needed to win. The mailers were dark and constantly sniping about Cooper but he did not say what HE would do. As someone once said, it’s the economy stupid. Every single GOP candidate needed to be hammering down on how high property taxes and state taxes are in blue districts. And hammer down on fraud stealing resources from the actually needy. And less cozy connections to the data centers (because a lot of people don’t like them- that hurt Abbott).

LMWC's avatar

I live in Michigan and I agree. Voter turnout surpassed most midterms and it was heavily favored Republican. What is worse, somehow the Dems swept Governor, SOS, AG, and state legislatures. Not buying any of it.

Juju's avatar

I haven’t finished reading the article yet, but I was struck by Alabama numbers so came to say so. It only takes 2,000-3,000 votes to be tossed out/lost/miscounted. How would we know if that happened? We have very insecure elections. Your, “The other ones didn’t seem so suspicious” is what was bothering me. I think they gambled on it “seeming” to look legit. How would we know if ballots or votes went missing in Alabama?(Don’t tell me that’s impossible, we have seen the impossible happen repeatedly.) The opportunity for cheating is so widespread that it’s being done in non-suspicious ways. Until someone can prove to me with evidence that no cheating can occur, then nobody can make the claim any of this was legit.

Charlotte's avatar

You are completely correct. I just used MI because the fraud was most blatant there. They harvest ballots and at the last election we had systems in place to also harvest ballots where it was legal. I don’t think they did that this time. A huge vulnerability and it genuinely lands on the lap of Thune.

Sunnydaze's avatar

I think Trumps mistake is NOT prosecuting every single one of them before the mid terms. I’m sorry but America is as asleep as ever. The lying criminal media is still allowed to lie and lie and lie and the only thing done is Trump sues them. It doesn’t stop them because they have outside bank rolling and money laundering to keep them going.

Americans have no idea what “we will never forget” means. Ummm. NY anyone? Apparently forgot that. Ummm covid anyone? Apparently forgot that one too. Americans don’t vote because there have NEVER been prosecutions of people in power abusing their power and to stop the election cheating. They are disillusioned by the fact that criminal politicians are allowed to keep doing what they are doing and there are NO consequences. They watched the conservatives get raided, arrested, prosecuted and thrown in prison. And NOT ONE of the criminal Demonrats who actually did criminal things has EVER been prosecuted or hanged for treason. THAT IS WHY AMERICANS STAYED HOME! They believe their vote means nothing! I think the same way but the only difference is by voting at least I can say I tried. I have zero belief elections are legit. I do it anyway. Millions of Americans decided a long time ago it’s useless. I hate it and it pisses me off. But how does it change? ARRESTS AND PROSECUTIONS AND JAIL TIME!

Americans were promised a lot of things in 2016 and 2020 and 2024. We got war with Iran, a still going BS war in Ukraine, high prices, un affordability dragging us down and a lot of other things. But not ONE high profile arrest to match up all the blackmailing and pedophile rings controlling politicians. Low hanging fruit? Fine. But there is ample evidence out there to arrest hundreds of this criminals running this country and NOT ONE was arrested. Without some hope that we can take our country back from decades of abuse - people don’t bother voting.

All the stuff Trump DID do is great! MOST OF AMERICANS NEVER EVEN HEARD ABOUT IT. People simply do not know what he DID do. They are only seeing what he didn’t do. How many times did we all repeat ENOUGH! No more throwing us a bone to hold off our anger. ENOUGH.

Somebody tell Trump THAT was the rebuke!

So I'm glad C & C reminded me that defeat does not mean it's over, Trump came back better than before, voila, Hope:) Thune is gone, yay! Trump is president, yay! Perhaps it's time to pursue a Constitutional amendment for 1 day voting, no mail in ballots, strict absentee voting and voter ID - only US citizens may vote, paper ballots with no computer ties. If 85% of Americans support it, I say kick Congress out of it and let the people decide.

I'm waiting for Republicans to get the memo.

Yes, Dave, everything you said in your first paragraph.

The rest is awesome too. 😊

“I hear the phrase "MAGA is dead". I do not accept that.” Yeah, this is going to be one of their biggest mistakes. Even with the trolls and dividers here in the comments today. They are salivating at the death of MAGA on all social media - too gleefully. I feel like wiping my screen every time I read one of their comments because their psychotic sociopathic joy over that deepest desire has their spit coming through my screen. But losing a single election is not the same thing. They so desperately want it to be. They are all about narratives and convincing others of a chosen perspective whether or not it’s even true, and they will use that same tactic here, trying to force everyone to see MAGA as dead.

I’m sorry, but we are a LOT harder to kill than that. 🤣 Rabid animals never slow down to contemplate. They just react.

Some claim the Democrats won. They didn't. The Uniparty won.

In Montana, the best ads were all DNC ads and the republican response was weak and late.

I've been complaining about the Republican ads for two months.

Pretending to try to catch up....FIFY

The GOP is the Washington Generals to the Democrats' Harlem Globetrotters. They are there to make sure that the crowd is entertained, and occasionally they are allowed to "win" just to keep the illusion going, but in the end, they are both on the same payroll and we all know it!

Lori's avatar

It is abundantly clear we can’t overcome election fraud simply by having the right ads and promoting what our side will do to improve lives. Some people say we didn’t do that, but I clearly remember our side constantly spelling out what we would do and why it’s better and highlighting the good already done. So it didn’t work. The Dems didn’t spell anything out and still won, so clearly communication WASN’T the reason for our loss. No matter how badly the black pillers want us to believe it.

KelliS's avatar

Was thinking that same thing this morning. Ohio GOP gave us at least 2 candidates that people hated (Vivek and Husted), guaranteeing democrat wins. The state didn't "turn blue," it was blue already and they just made it official. DeWine and most of Ohio GOP are swamp rats of the uniparty.

Looks like the average American voter has the attention span and memory of a gold fish.

The democrats hammered away at affordability....how on God's green earth will anything be more affordable with more regulations and higher taxes?

Jerri Hinojosa's avatar

“Memory of a gold fish” and the perspective of a beta fish. Most Americans have never left their tiny bowl and have no curiosity about how “affordable” the rest of the world isn’t. Gas prices in Europe today are between $8.52 and $10.62 per gallon. Ten years ago, the prices were averaging $9 to $10 per gallon. Americans “suffer” through a few months of prices between $4 and $5/gallon and decide the sky is falling.

Our standard of living is very high. That’s why millions of people risk life and limb to come here illegally. The price of everything, including groceries, skyrocketed under Covid pressures and, naturally, grocers had zero interest in reducing them post-covid. Airlines added “fuel surcharges” and, naturally when the emergency was over, they just raised their ticket prices to the number we showed them we were willing to pay.

We (Americans) are spoiled by our excesses to the point we feel entitled to them. We’re too lazy to read a book or two to understand what drives prices. We’re so coddled by our government that when some stupid nobody politician says “oh poor you, your life is unaffordable and I’m going to fix it for you” we don’t ask if they’ve ever fixed anything in the past, we just run right out and vote for them. We’re not interested in learning how our government functions, or what that person’s actual potential to effectuate ANY change, much less a movement in the price of consumer goods in the world’s largest economy. We’re dumb, lazy and complacent and cannot be surprised when our elected officials reflect dumb, lazy and complacent back to us.

Republicans like to think we work more, know more, have more decency and common sense than Democrats, but look at OUR leaders. John Thune, worst senate leader in history (who has already announced he’s running for minority leader). He has no shame, no sense of responsibility for the GOP’s wasted legislative terms or election debacle.

The only pony I can find in this dung pile is that the useless barnacles John Cornyn and Susan Collins have FINALLY been scraped off the hull of the SS GOP. We missed the opportunity to scrape off Tom Cotton. It may take another painful bloodletting two years from now to pry off Thune, , Scott (Tim), Murkowski, Crapo and Lankford.

Juju's avatar

I admit as much as I hated losing the senate I actually was glad Collins lost.

I think you and alot of people are missing the point here: 𝐀𝐌𝐄𝐑𝐈𝐂𝐀𝐍𝐒 𝐃𝐎 𝐍𝐎𝐓 𝐋𝐈𝐊𝐄 𝐖𝐀𝐑 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐀𝐑𝐄 𝐒𝐈𝐂𝐊 𝐎𝐅 𝐖𝐀𝐑!!! Historically speaking, the party in power gets their a**es kicked for instigating/starting/getting involved in wars once they end aka WWI, WW2, Korea, Vietnam clobbered the Dems and the Middle East wars for Israel have clobbered the GOP...

Lori's avatar

They will say, when it is worse or no better, that it isn't their fault, that they inherited it from recucks. Kinda like recucks would do in the same position.

Ain't that the truth. It's almost like the GOP threw the election.

And "If only Trump had waited until AFTER the midterms to do his war whore for Israel bit".

Sigh. But next time for sure LOL.

VikingMom's avatar

"Almost like?" I eou say that the establishment Republicans absolutely threw the election - because it is far more lucrative to be the minority party! They can sell their votes to the highest bidder and make all kinds of promises as to what they will do if only they get re-elected, which, of course they never follow through on when actually in the majority!

Inisfad's avatar

Victor Davis Hanson has a good take on all of this: this is exactly the same thing that happened in the midterms during the Clinton and Obama presidencies.

In any event, the Republicans that stayed home, now get the government they wished for. They can spew about Iran, the price of eggs, etc., and whatever other childish and myopic arguments, but President Trump is still president.

By the way, a message to John Thune: be very careful as you are up for election in 2028. Just saying.

Jerri Hinojosa's avatar

The astonishingly shameless Thune has already announced he’s running for Minority Leader. If the Republicans install that useless POS as Minority Leader, we’re going to need a much bigger bloodletting in ‘28 than just Thune.

It was a political bloodbath. And yet... the sun still rose this morning, God is still on the Throne of Heaven, and this nation, indeed this planet, is still only our temporary home. My morning reading coincidentally was in the Book of Revelation -- Chapter 3. I've read the entire book, over to cover, 7 times and it always turns out the same. Spoiler alert -- God wins in the end. "Every knee will bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father." Another bit of good advice from a pastor whose name I can’t recall: “Occupy until He comes.” We will always have work to do. Be glad that we will one day be with Him in our forever home, but also vow to take as many people with you as possible.
