Just learned a max-vax’d friend had to visit Mayo Clinic in Rochester to get a thorough diagnostic work up for issues he has been dealing with/getting medicated for, for the past 2 years. He has neuropathy in both feet, both hands, cataracts in both eyes and general lack of energy. The Mayo gods decided he has— fibromyalgia (could have seen that coming) which has no treatment. This is a man who, pre-jab, was in peak physical condition (early 60’s), worked as a construction manager for apartment complex builds—climbing, inspecting, doing any manual labor task that needed to be done. It’s interesting how our past and our history follow us. It could be something that we did when we were younger or it can come from generations before. Trauma can be passed down from previous generations. Whole groups of people can continue to look backwards to past traumas or persecutions that have long since been gone. It can hold us back from being what we were meant to rise too.
In Jesus’s day there was a man named Saul. Saul was the biggest enemy of the church. He hated believers, he even had some killed. He constantly threatened them saying he was going to throw them in prison. In one moment God changed his life. He went from Saul to the apostle Paul. Now I’m not condoning murder or imprisoning people based on religion, but imagine if Paul had lived in his past. What if he said, after what I’ve done it’s impossible for me to write books promoting Christ. If Paul had become imprisoned by his past 1/2 of the New Testament would never have been written. What will we miss out on if we let the past stop the gifts that could be given by people with new ideas? Without the Apostle Paul the world today would be a different place.
The success stories of people like Abraham Lincoln, Winston Churchill, Marie Curie, Helen Keller and Beethoven who said “I will take fate by the throat; it will never bend me completely to its will”. So many others remind us that obstacles, no matter how daunting, can be overcome with perseverance, courage, and determination. In our current political world I would have to mention RFK Jr., Tulsi Gabbard, Marco Rubio, even Donald Trump who faced down over 400 years in prison as phony and as set up as that was.
We don’t have to let the past dictate our future. There comes a time where we have to leave the past behind. At this point in my life I need hope to spring eternal. It's tempting to be triggered by those who still wear masks. Here in rural KY I usually observe it with the elderly (of which I'm one; 71 with emphysema). I try to be sympathetic and say: They're afraid, and if it makes them feel safer does it really hurt me? It's harder to stomach when you see younger adults doing it. But isn't that why we call it a free country? Better to direct enmity at the orchestrators and profiteers IMO.

We All Have a Past
It’s interesting how our past and our history follow us. It could be something that we did when we were younger or it can come from generations before. Trauma can be passed down from previous generations. Whole groups of people can continue to look backwards to past traumas or persecutions that have long since been gone. It can hold us back from being what we were meant to rise too.
In Jesus’s day there was a man named Saul. Saul was the biggest enemy of the church. He hated believers, he even had some killed. He constantly threatened them saying he was going to throw them in prison. In one moment God changed his life. He went from Saul to the apostle Paul. Now I’m not condoning murder or imprisoning people based on religion, but imagine if Paul had lived in his past. What if he said, after what I’ve done it’s impossible for me to write books promoting Christ. If Paul had become imprisoned by his past 1/2 of the New Testament would never have been written. What will we miss out on if we let the past stop the gifts that could be given by people with new ideas? Without the Apostle Paul the world today would be a different place.
The success stories of people like Abraham Lincoln, Winston Churchill, Marie Curie, Helen Keller and Beethoven who said “I will take fate by the throat; it will never bend me completely to its will”. So many others remind us that obstacles, no matter how daunting, can be overcome with perseverance, courage, and determination. In our current political world I would have to mention RFK Jr., Tulsi Gabbard, Marco Rubio, even Donald Trump who faced down over 400 years in prison as phony and as set up as that was.
We don’t have to let the past dictate our future. There comes a time where we have to leave the past behind. At this point in my life I need hope to spring eternal. Nothing in our past, has to stop our future. Nothing we have said, nothing anyone has done should stop us from reaching our highest potential. No mistakes we’ve made are too big for Gods mercy. A persons worst mistake doesn’t have to be their final chapter.

I had a traumatic childhood, yet I survived and eventually thrived. Thankfully none of my parents antics left wakes of family and friends deceased. I watched my husband die a slow, degrading and painful death from April 2021 to September 2022. He took 3 shots even though I tried to get him to see they were government experiments. None of the children or grandchildren took any but we all miss our Papa.

It's tempting to be triggered by those who still wear masks. Here in rural KY I usually observe it with the elderly (of which I'm one; 71 with emphysema). I try to be sympathetic and say: They're afraid, and if it makes them feel safer does it really hurt me? It's harder to stomach when you see younger adults doing it. But isn't that why we call it a free country? Better to direct enmity at the orchestrators and profiteers IMO.

This affects the global economy and the global economy affects our economy. The midterm coverage is also pure hopium. Incumbents have gained midterm House seats exactly 3 times in the last 100 years. There are SO many. Today, I will pick Matthew Barrett, the wicked judge who sentenced Tina Peters. He needs Jesus. We know from the Bible that God is not going to save all of the wicked, but for His glory He will choose to save some.

You are amazing Margot really. I am not there yet. I will not pray for anyone who has SRAed/raped children, killed them, committed human rights violations, the covid masters and the list goes on. Quite frankly, I want them dead. There is no place on this beautiful earth for them. I am digging in my heels. I speak to God about this and He understands me (I am sure He does not agree with me) and knows that evil must be punished. We just can't let evil run wild or there will be full on chaos and none of us will be safe.
Lori, I think you misunderstand my point. I agree 100% with you that we cannot let evil run wild! The death penalty is absolutely appropriate for these horrific crimes, and capital punishment is completely biblical. I am praying for eternal souls, not temporal bodies, and for God’s glory in whatever HE decides.

Wow, this is a powerful post (if only the real John Galt would have had your belief system but I digress). Very difficult for me to accept this challenge honestly which says something about me… but Fauci seems to me to be beyond redemption and therefore the obvious choice for me….so I’ll accept your rightful challenge and start praying for the King Rat himself to find God and step back from the 9th circle of Hell.
I like this challenge and I like your response. It makes me think of how God dealt with the incorrigible, beyond hope Pharoah. He put the pressure on. No amnesty for oppressors imo. My preference would be to pray for more and thorough exposure. Why not pick two?

I would pick Obama, who funded and armed jihadists in Syria in 2011, trying to overthrow their government.

And then under Biden, the ISIS/al Qaeda leader, al Julani, managed to overthrow the Syrian government and put in jihadist fundamentalists in the government. They started killing Christians and Allawites, and are still doing it.
