Trump also said he would have launched missiles at Moscow if Putin had tried it.
Had Putin done it the outcry and lamenting would be reversed. You'd see democrats using Ukraine to attack trump daily instead of it being "conservatives". MTG would be in total support of Ukraine instead of Putin.

Knowing Trump, he also would likely have negotiated with Putin and agreed to crack down on alleged neo-nazis in eastern ukraine and investigate and release evidence of any "funny business" that had previously been going on by the CIA or whoever... good deal from his perspective, relatively little cost to him personally to be able to say "I stopped a war". And no surprise the democrats (and a bunch of Rs as well) would oppose it.
You're not wrong; I'd agree Trump would have at least threatened military action, but would have gone for a "deal" first. IMO Putin would have possibly agreed to something like my previous post, as he would have saved face by "getting something" in return for not attacking.
And... what? Launching missiles is clearly just "aggressive negotiation", y'know. ;)
If Trump had been in office it would be completely the opposite.
You'd see republicans using this as a chance to turn the narrative about Trump being a Russian asset and Trump, just like Covid, would open the floodgates and do a far better job than Biden. We'd have had Ukrainians with 300 Abrams in mid 2022, atacms and F16s.
When he does something he does it big no matter if it's the wrong thing to do..see operation warp speed.
Probably.

Trump said he would have launched missiles into Moscow. That's hardly "negotiating".
It was under Trump that he had actual American soldiers inside Ukraine training Ukrainians. My guys, in fact.
It was also Trump who reversed Biden's rule on no lethal aid to Ukraine.
