But you, beloved, ought to remember the words that were spoken beforehand by the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ, that they were saying to you, β€œIn the last time there will be mockers, following after their own ungodly lusts.” These are the ones who cause divisions, worldly-minded, devoid of the Spirit. But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in the love of God, waiting anxiously for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to eternal life.

Update from a 4th campus:

Beck A. Taylor, president of Samford University, emailed students Friday, thanking God for the revival. The revival at Reid Chapel on the Samford campus had been going on for 48 continuous hours as of Friday morning, he said.

Samford is located about 400 miles from Asbury's Wilmore, Ky., campus.

"This is spontaneous, organic, student-led worship," Taylor wrote. "Having spent some time yesterday with those worshipping in Reid Chapel, I can testify that the Holy Spirit is at work in and among our student body. What's happening isn't contrived, programmed, or scripted. Nor is it performative or disingenuous. Students and others see it as an opportunity for the Samford campus to find unity in Christ, to encourage one another to faithfulness, and to extend the love and grace of Jesus to everyone."

Taylor urged students to "resist the temptation to label what's happening, or to put it into some kind of a neat box."

"I'm convinced that God is doing a new thing here, and all we're asked to do is to remain faithful to God's calling," Taylor wrote. "Our theme this year is HOPE. Our hope can be found in the person and work of Jesus Christ. As we worship Jesus today, let's allow hope to abound in us so that we can spread God's hope throughout this campus and the world."

I just wanted to share a video I saw on Not The Bee about Reverend Calvin Robinson in the UK who is trying to save the soul of the Church of England. For the anxious longing of the creation waits eagerly for the revealing of the sons of God. For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of Him who subjected it, in hope that the creation itself also will be set free from its slavery to corruption into the freedom of the glory of the children of God. For we know that the whole creation groans and suffers the pains of childbirth together until now. --Romans 8:19-22 NASB1995

I have never been more proud of a Governor than I am of DeSantis and his team. Ladapo is a hero. Twitter is full of people saying they think DeSantis has been bought by the deep state. I’ve been in Florida long enough to know how sweet Big Sugar’s money can be and I know Big Pharma’s money has made every other politician lightheaded with greed. DeSantis has somehow managed to avoid being bought by both. If he can be bought, why wouldn’t he take it all in? It is so refreshing to have a Governor that is actually doing what’s right in the face of intense pressure and I’m sure temptation. I love that man. And Ladapo.

We were on a Florida trip in December and attended the Miami Brownstone Institute event celebrating Joe Ladapo's accomplishments, and his speech couldn't have been more informative, combative, funny & human. We still live in San Francisco, and the contrast of life in Miami, which is also can international, cosmopolitan, multi-ethnic, gay-friendly, medium-sized but dense, couldn't be starker. Hardly any masks, smiles everywhere, helpful people, open storefronts, ...What a difference a governor makes in these times.

Is SF still in the covid frenzy? I lived there for 10 years and I really liked it. Close to nature, nice air off the pacific. It’s the NIMBY capitol of the nation though.

Not a COVID frenzy, but the "librarians" and much of the ethnic communities where they're still masking back in their origin countries are pretty heavily masked, even walking outside. You still have to mask in courts, public health meetings, etc., so the government can't let it go. Most long-term citizens are done w/it and are starting to organize, in person!, against the homeless industrial complex, crime, and other issues that plague the city. Our team still mans COVID vax info tables whenever we can, people are way more receptive than a year ago, and we've done away w/all vax mandates. A small music venue downtown just transitioned from mask required to mask recommended.

I agree.

But I did raise my eyebrows when someone showed me his donor list which had a lot of global elitist people on it. Then as all the lefties and rinos and pee Ryan started pushing for him to run and supporting him saying what a great president he would be….. I started thinking maybe he is their puppet. Then Soros came out yesterday I think and supported him and I was like….WHAAAAAT?

But I also use common sense and realize of course they are all pushing him to the front and goading him into running…because they just don’t want Trump. Anybody but Trump!! And why don’t they want him so bad? Because he’s someone who calls them out and fights them privately and publicly (I know, except for jab stuff).

So of course they need to try and push DeSantis into it and of course they will bank roll him to do it if it means keeping Trump out. They are scared of Trump. Once the field is narrowed, if DeSantis was the nominee….the bank roll would dry up so they can put everything into their real puppet. I suspect.

So, I’m withholding judgement on this whole thing until it plays out. I will not board the DeSantis train yet because he hasn’t even said he’s running. Personally I hope he doesn’t because he is so effective as a governor and the only governor leading by example. It’s too soon for him to leave this and enter the swamp. My opinion is that the country needs him as a governor for now. But we’ll see. Until there’s an actual choice to be made…..I won’t make a choice.

And yet, I look at two things, results, and a tendency to support who the WEF deep state most hates.

The US GEBs (working closely with the European GEBs,) appear to be maniacally desperate to harm Russia precisely perhaps because Putin won’t play their One World GOVERNMENT games. And Trump was a beacon to all nations to also not play their β€œRule the World” games, and exercise strong self interest. Keeping Trump and Russia apart appears, in retrospect, to have been the deeper benefit of the β€œRussia Russia Russia” manufactured attack on Trump. The number one goal was to remove Trump and an independent nationalist USA, and two, aligned with that goal, keep the nationalist US and nationalist Soviet Union apart, punish them, and you crush Nationalism everywhere.

Trump’s economic success, and beacon call to rational Nationalism made his removal necessary, made Covid 19 ( almost certainly a man made manufactured crisis) necessary. And Trump’s success was massive and growing! He had China by the short hairs, India was fully aboard, Mexico was cooperating, Asia was cooperating, Eastern Europe was cooperating, anti indiscriminate immigration ideology was growing, bilateral and tri -lateral trade deals were rewriting global trade, with the number one economy and super power in the world, a strong USA. Canada was being dragged , against their will, to the trade table. Even North Korea was bowing to the Trump doctrine. It took Covid 19, two illegal Impeachment attempts, and β€œRussia Russia Russia” to stop Trump, and the world from getting on board his train of rational Nationalism.

So blowing up the Nord Stream pipeline, is simply continuing that Malthusian β€œRule the World” attack on Sovereign independence, suppressing Russia, while supporting the US puppet, a corrupt controlled Ukraine. These folk could not care less about populations, indeed, populations are the enemy, strong Nations are the enemy.

Controlling a nation is so 20th century passe, just as corporations are global, ruling the world is so tantalizingly close. Breaking a few eggs to make the One World Omelette, now means destroying National Sovereign ideology.

Also

"Trump didn’t know enough virology to be able to single-handedly defeat Fauci, Birx, the CCP, the Democrats, Big-Pharma, FBI corruption, The Lancet, and the CDC. But his gut instinct to shut the border was spot on. His instinct that those who spoke of HCQ were right was accurate and brave. His withdrawal of funds from the culpable WHO was better than any other western leader."

From the moment I saw Jeb Bush standing behind DeSantis at one of his rallies, I knew the game was on. In order to run a campaign in these days, it takes millions. Fortunately, Trump had millions and could launch and run a campaign without the support of donations and payback. The left hated that!!! And the people loved it!! DeSantis doesn’t have that kind of money, so he will have to rely on donations from big money. I’ve said it before - the MAGA army will not support anyone else, DeSantis included. That is a huge number and DeSantis would be a fool to challenge that. He will need them when he finally decides to run. It would be damaging to his future career to fail to win a primary. There’s something about having a loss in your history. Rivals tend to use it to their advantage. They don’t need much to bash their opponents, but why give them more ammunition. There are many people who’ve been enlisted to bad-mouth Trump and push DeSantis for 2024. That is nothing new. Ignore them and let Trump come and finish the job he started. DeSantis is young enough and can rely on a strong future WITH Trump behind him.

- he’s got the ego of a teenage boy

I could go on, but there’s really no need.

Interesting take. Not necessarily wrong either. I will say that even though I know our votes don’t matter at this point…I will continue to vote because it is my right as a citizen and I choose not to lay down, roll over and just hand them their selection without a fight.

As for fear of Trump…how else do you explain their complete hatred of him and their absolute disdain and smearing of him to make sure he never gets in office again? They have investigated him for the most stupidest things and put him through the ringer. If he weren’t a threat they wouldn’t care and they’d say bring it on. They do not want Trump at all costs. There has to be a reason for that as well.

I don’t quite understand why he didn’t clean house of all those rinos either. Except he had no way of knowing how corrupt there were until they shown their true colors. Idk.

Trump did a lot of good things and he did it with the evil (including rinos) fighting him every inch of the way. They backstabbed him, tried to frame him and held nothing back. He did not do it perfectly and no, I don’t like his ego. But if you were fighting the demons and criminality that he was I bet you’d not have done it all perfect. How do you fight an enemy that follows no moral or ethical set of rules or who doesn’t even have a conscience?

I also thinks he fights on some things when he doesn’t need to (like DeSantis). There are pros and cons for both people. I will not pick a side until I’m forced to. We’ll see how this plays out. I’m taking Jeff’s advice and just waiting to see what happens before I jump on anything.

When the 2024 election rolls around, we all know this entire country is now fed up, more than ever before, and more awake that ever before, that if the demoncrats were to win the presidential election, it will prove it was rigged. There is no way all the masses will believe it. We need to be like them, but in a good way: loud, proud and obnoxious. Get in their faces. Bully our way up to the front. I think we are capable of growing a set and outdoing them in this game and doing it with morality. Jesus got angry, I think it's okay (expected) if we do too.

I like what DeSantis has done in Florida, but his views on military/foreign policy are decidedly pro-Empire. He should stay in Florida until the Empire's collapse is final and his views on the Empire become irrelevant. The collapse is inevitable whether the Empire is headed by a globalist like Biden or a nationalist like Trump. A De Santis presidency at this point would only soil his legacy with that inevitable collapse.

Expand full comment

I agree he should stay in FL to prove that this version of the republic is over. States need to take stronger positions in our civilization. The admin state is a gazillion times too big and he is not going to be able to destroy it, nor is Trump. It needs to implode and then the states manage themselves more freely!

Expand full comment

Agreed. DeSantis goes with lots of RINO positions. Will he grow out of them, or be another deep state minion?

Expand full comment

I would like to know which RINO positions he goes along with? Do you have concrete evidence or just opinion he goes along with it. I’m not attacking you I’m just trying to learn.

Expand full comment

He's far from the worst, but has these overlap points with classic RINOism.

- He pledged to be "the most pro-Israel governor in America".

- DeSantis praises the Ukrainian fighters, and said Biden was going too easy on Russia, and we should apply sanctions to the Russian oil industry.

-Is against recreational pot. (Big Alcohol and Big Pharma smiles in appreciation).

-Fine with people not learning English with govt paying for other language balloting and welfare services.

Expand full comment

Recreational pot is not necessarily a good thing. A small amount of people have bad reactions to it and accidents go up wherever it is legalized (like my state). But I wonder if allowing people to grow small amounts of it if they want to (vs allowing farms and sellers of pot to operate) would be okay. But truly, there's no easy answer. Some people are psychotic on pot. It's also not measurable like alcohol is because everyone is different and you can't set some measurable amount that's over the limit for everyone. It wouldn't be accurate. I don't want someone I care about to be injured or killed in an accident because of it.

As for language, when families immigrate, often the parents learn the language slowly and the kids quickly, but the grandparents really struggle. It is much more difficult for them. So I think it's reasonable to provide support. I'm pro immigration when it's done in kind ways (vs. leaving people in a limbo state with no clear status - the government loves that because they want fewer people to have actual rights so they have more control). I think it's right to make a legal way for good people to come here.

Expand full comment

Why do blacks vote Democrat?

They all vote against their own self interests. Dems are only interested in corporations, power and the wealthy. They talk a good game, but keep minorities down to serve themselves.

Non-orthodox Jews are actually quite socially liberal (including opening supporting the Alphabet Mafia and abortion industries). They more closely identify with Democrat policies.

Blacks are highly motivated towards solidarity with their minority brethren. Historically, that has meant severe pressure within that community to conform to what their leaders tell them to do. They are also encouraged NOT to be educated or to think critically about their leadership. They are waking up, however. From MN too here. We have seen how quickly things can change, for example believing that it is virtuous to avoid other people, but it can just as well go the other way. The only stability is to have solid integral values, could be a priority for God's values. It is the slowest and smallest immediate scope way forward, but strengthening relationships, communities and families that can resist unhealthy things and establish healthy things, all of that can change things. I live outstate, as they say, and there are so many basically good people with good common sense.

If I want to operate a small "recreational drone", I must license it with the FAA, and follow FAA flight path regulations and restrictions. Yet Brandon wants me to believe amateur balloon clubs are operating large slow-moving, unregistered craft at 20K ft to 40K ft elevations - where commercial jets fly. And the FAA knows nothing about their flight paths. Yeah, sure.

Expand full comment

My thoughts exactly!

Expand full comment

When I heard they were shooting down random objects last week my first thought was a few HAM clubs just lost their balloon experiments.

The real question is why are they admitting it.

HAM clubs really do launch a lot of balloons. My local ham club(a very small club) does so 2-4 times a year as a project with local schools.

The intended flight altitude is always above 60k feet because less rules that high, but weather conditions dictate the actual altitude

I think the only thing you need to tell your local FAA office is when you plan to launch.

They aren't usually large objects because bigger = more rules, more gas, more money

The payload for HAMs are usually about 1-2 ounces and the balloons less than 6ft diameter.

Since HAMs are launching it, the balloon always has a very tiny HAM radio that will ping APRS or WSPR both with its current position whenever it can - and that's all these balloons ever do.

Expand full comment

Good info ... but the hands-on education and fun these pico balloons provide will no longer be allowed to exist outside the smothering blanket of bureaucratic regulation. Y'all do realize that government owns ALL the land, water, and air that comprise planet earth ... it's only via their beneficence we little people are allowed access to any of it.
