Unfortunately it happened in many blue run states and is still going on. Antrim Co, Michigan saw a 6000 vote flip during the 2020 election. Antrim Co is a solid conservative county in northern Michigan. An alert clerk noticed a 6000 vote flip to Biden that just did not match. The clerk called attention to it and it made all the conservative trad media for a few days. Tucker called it out on Fox. Then after a couple of weeks it became quiet. The county board was coerced into saying it was just an error in tabulation, and the clerk, either bought off/ threatened, or both admitted an error was made by the office. This was just a small example of the corruption uncovered that was smothered under a blanket of secrecy.

voter ID will only really work if they make mail in voters go to a county office and show their ID to get a ballot, just like one must do when they walk in to vote. Is it too damned much to ask for a person prove who they are before they get to participate in the most consequential process of selecting our governments?
Mail-in voters need to be restricted to the military (and make sure they arrive in time to be counted, for Pete's sake. They above all people deserve to have their votes counted) and the legally disabled. Temporarily disabled need the signature of two physicians. Election Day should be declared a national holiday.
I voted mail in in college due to it being unfeasible for me to drive all the way hundreds of miles back to Ohio and then back to Pittsburgh on election day while still attending school. But I had to make a formal request with a valid reason/ explanation, they didn't just hand it to me because I wanted it.
I was a "Voting Officer" as an additional duty as a commissioned officer in the US Army. Before I would issue an absentee ballot, a Soldier woukd have to present to me and provide his ID CARD AND PROOF OF State of Residence. Only then would I verify him, give him a ballot and an address in his home state to send the ballot AND I would notarize the ballot. That is the process which should be followed for ALL mail in ballots.
As for disabled, sick, etc no mail in. Instead they request a Mobile Election Board (counties in AZ are required to provide them). Then that board of 3 people (leader, Dem, Repub)goes to their house or care facility, verifies identity as above, and issues ballot (add: to voter, voter privately votes, places ballot in ballot envelope and signs/seals envelope, leader receives ballot in sealed envelope back from voter and notarizes envelope, and returns it to election office in sealed container providing full identity and chain of custody.) So, there are valid processes which allow people to vote while still properly verifying identity and notarizing same. So why dont they use this process? Because then they couldn't engage in wholesale mail in ballot fraud.
Well in Washington state they EMAIL the ballot to the absentee voter (I know because my daughter lives in Canada with her Canadian husband and she confirmed this) and the voter prints it, fills it out, scans it back to their computer, and get this, EMAIL it back to the election office where they print off the ballot to be run through the tabulator machine. I am an election observer, and we never get to see the original emails etc because their votes are private and we should never see how someone voted, just that the election workers are doing their jobs. RIpe for all kinds of corruption and cheating!! It is so frustrating, UGH.
I had to do exactly that when I was in college and wanted to vote in my first National election. I secured an absentee ballot from my township clerk, verifying my ID AND voter registration, a month or more before the election. I filled it out, signed it, and mailed it back a couple of weeks before the election. The clerks did not open absentee ballots until after polls closed and yet somehow we knew the results later that evening, EVERYTIME!

I'm floored by today's post because I have been looking into a paired kidney exchange for a close family member who has been on the transplant list for a year. This means a swap with another living donor, with me being the unvaccinated living donor. I never took any of the Covid jabs. I am not a compatible match for my family member- wrong blood type, so the paired kidney exchange is the only ethical option. First off, please know that I took my name off the organ donation list years ago as I knew that brain death was not a real thing and a fake vehicle to harvest organs. I know family members are unduly pressured. I also heard Jan Jekielek's interview on his book several months ago before it was published, and I'm grateful Jeff covered this today. She had a transplant in 2005 which has lasted 21 years. She takes impeccable care of herself and had a living donor for her first transplant as well. Approximately 20% of the US population is not vaccinated. Yes, all kidney transplant. Patients are most likely vaccinated, but trying to find an unvaccinated kidney I felt would reduce the possibility of blood clots and other post surgical issues.
I wasn’t aware that you could specify you wanted unvaccinated as a paired kidney exchange. I wish you success. I know of someone who recently did this to help a family member and by all accounts it has been very successful with all parties. It did take a long time - about a year- to get set up. This was in Canada. Good luck and keep the faith. So many people with damaged kidneys these days.

Wow, I hadn’t thought of that….very creepy. As a retired healthcare professional, I followed my “brain-dead” patient into the OR for organ retrieval. It was ghastly and eye-opening. That day I removed the organ donor sticker off my driver’s license. I also have met patients who received an organ and experience new life. There must be a better way…..like preventing chronic illness.
I was a surgical nurse involved in organ harvest in the late 1970’s until one time they anesthesiologist removed the patient from the ventilator and the patient began to move,surgery was cancelled and so was my ability to participate in those surgeries, NEVER AGAIN I said. I’m not participating in this type of surgery. Forty years later this is what it has become. Forgive us oh Lord.

I wish to handle my after-death the way Jesus did: uncremated, fully intact. And while we can’t afford an actual tomb, a casket will do. I removed myself from organ donation about 15 years ago and my husband did a decade ago.
That’s correct. And maybe everyone is aware of this, but you also should not have a Living Will on file with your doctor or hospital. Instead, appoint a medical power of attorney who you trust to make decisions for you. A Living Will is a green light to turn you into an organ donor ASAP. An estate attorney can help you with the medical POA document.

How old is too old to fear organ donation? My husband and I both have advanced directives in our hospital charts... While our children have advanced directives and have not added then to their medical information, I'm curious about those over 70 years of age.
I guess that is up to you and your husband. You might want to consider different possible scenarios. What if you, as a healthy, independent woman, have a surgery at age 71 and something goes wrong in the OR. Or you’re in a serious accident of some kind. They tell your family you are brain dead. Would you want to have a chance at recovery to see your grandkids grow up, even if it took weeks or months for your brain to heal? Or would you just want to be done with this earthly life and let your organs go to someone younger? Would you trust your relatives to make a decision based on your wishes?
Yes, I renewed mine in 2022 and removed the donor section, but yesterday it was still on this national Donatelife.net site. I reached out to the national one did get a reply and they said they could remove it so will see. Point being unchecking the box on the DMV DL renewal paperwork did not work.

My husband, after seeing what happened with some friends in his 20s, refused to have anything to do with organ donation unless everything was donated to the patient/family - meaning the hospital bill, the surgeon, anesthesiologist - all of it. He said that the way it is set up now, it is highly unethical, dangerous to potential donors and that hospitals and doctors make too much money off it all to make ethical decisions. As usual, he was 100% on the nose.
He is highly insightful and usually ahead of everyone else (including me) on things of this nature. He sure was on flu & c19 jabs.
At the hospital in GA where I worked for many years, once the potential donor was declared brain dead, any further medical expenses incurred were paid for by Lifelink (the organ procurement agency). I can’t say whether doctors receive money for too but I highly doubt it.
Also, I don’t know if many of you are aware that a flow study can be done in nuclear medicine and if there is no blood flow to the brain, the only things keeping that person “alive” if you will, are the machines and meds.

One thing i would recommend everyone do is complete a medical power of attorney that gives a person or persons of your choosing the right to make medical decisions for you. Different states have different forms, but you generally can add it it such as including language that states what has to be done in order for you to be taken off of life support.

Once you make human life into something NOT uniquely valuable in and of itself, but a commodity, i.e. "a single human life is worth less than 2 human lives. 10 human lives have more value than 2 human lives, an unborn human life is worth less than an adult human life, my child's life is worth more than someone else's child's life." it is easy to make calculations that promote these evils.
Our Christian God assures us that each of us, good or bad, old or young, are equally and uniquely loved. Therein lies our value- not as one of a group and not because of our actions, but as a special soul created by a loving God.

The use of the word "hero" feels really uncomfortable here. Even without the moral issues.
Organ donation comes as a result, often, of trauma or sudden and unexpected death. The family is engulfed by grief, and this organ donation is heroism mantra feels like a way that the medical folks and others are trying to assuage the family's grief (and maybe their own grief at the limitations of medicine).
It feels only slightly less yuck than the whole "medical staff are heroes" during covid.
Heroes are people who exercise uncommon courage, bravery, and sacrifice for the good of others.
The dead have no ability to act with courage as they donate their organs. The medical staff were simply doing their jobs - the jobs they signed up to do when they entered the profession. Putting oneself in harm's way is part of the job description.
I had a son who died as a baby and it always distressed me that I wasn't able to donate his organs, so that he could give someone the gift of life that he lost. I believe it would have been a comfort knowing some part of him was living somewhere, even though it wasn't with me. I signed up to be an organ donor for that reason. But last year I read an article, maybe it was the Times article but I don't remember, and it changed my perspective a bit. If I can't live, it does seem to me a very noble thing to give the gift of life to someone else with the organs I can't take with me when I die. On the other hand, I'm not willing that I should die so that some random stranger can live. It gave me a perspective I hadn't had before.
They call them gifts. And yet, the money changing hands is astronomical for those “gifts”. Here’s an idea. Pass a law that doctors or anyone associated with organ donation, does it as a donation. Youll see that shit dry up fast! Or you’ll find the real philanthropists.
After my husband died abruptly last year, the local organ procurement organization called (that night!) to ask about donating. I said no.
My friend who was here with me and who is keenly aware of the fraud and corruption issues (and herself a physician) said, you should have asked if they were going to pay for his funeral in exchange for his tissues. Because you know they would turn around and make money from them.

First off, please know that I took my name off the organ donation list years ago as I knew that brain death was not a real thing and a fake vehicle to harvest organs. I worked in the PICU for 38 years and took care of a lot of organ donor patients that were traumas. I was at the bedside for many brain death examinations and I can assure you that the ones I helped take care of were not only merely dead, but really most sincerely dead. (Wizard of Oz quote by the Coroner).
My 15 year old sister was in a car accident and a fence post pierced her head. She was on life support for a week before my parents made the anguished decision to take her off. She was most definitely dead. I am not sure if she was an organ donor as this was back in 1974. 42 years later I received a heart transplant as did my niece 5 years after that. While I do not discount the likelihood of certain ghoulish behavior out there, I am forever grateful to the young man and his family who made that most difficult decision to save my life. Those commenters who advocate for ceasing organ donation and redirecting the funds and efforts towards prevention are misguided. There is nothing one can do to prevent a genetic mutation from destroying an organ, regardless of diet, exercise and lifestyle choices. Perhaps going forward with gene therapy techniques but that is well into the future. 10 years post transplant at 61, I probably look and feel healthier than most people my age.
But what if you're wrong? What if the person from whom you and/or your loved one received an organ or organs really wasn't dead? What if they heard everything but couldn't respond? What if they felt everything? How can you be sure?

Not sure if you read my other posts, but besides having two physicians from two different disciplines (a pediatric intensivist and a pediatric neurosurgeon for example) conduct the brain death studies, if there was any question, they did a flow study in nuclear medicine. If the blood flow stops at a certain point anatomically, there’s no blood perfusing the brain and that’s that.

There's been warnings by medical people about the contract you sign if you go into the hospital. One of the tricks they use is by saying that they have a right to give you biologics. It turns out the covid shot is a biologic in their eyes. So do not accept that term on any contract for you or your loved ones who have to go into the hospital. The best thing you can probably do is find a small town hospital where the people who work there know each other and not as inclined to have their hands out for bribes.
Injections is a very broad category. Are you talking just intramuscular injections (i.e.jabs, like vaccines) or ALL medications you could get through an IV? There are a lot of IV medicines I would still take if I were critically ill or injured.

Get a medical directive (different names in different states) that gives power of attorney to direct your medical care. And execute several copies - give one to the person you selected to make decisions for you - maybe one to your doctor, and one for the hospital if you are unlucky enough to end up there. Since learning more in the past year about the reality and cruelty of the organ donation process, when I renewed my driver's license I removed myself from the potential organ donor registry.
After how being unvaccinated got me rejected and hated, with pressures from the medical system to "join the program" I was fuck all. I'm not joining the final program of "organ donation."

Unfortunately it happened in many blue run states and is still going on. Antrim Co, Michigan saw a 6000 vote flip during the 2020 election. Antrim Co is a solid conservative county in northern Michigan. An alert clerk noticed a 6000 vote flip to Biden that just did not match. The clerk called attention to it and it made all the conservative trad media for a few days. Tucker called it out on Fox. Then after a couple of weeks it became quiet. The county board was coerced into saying it was just an error in tabulation, and the clerk, either bought off/ threatened, or both admitted an error was made by the office. This was just a small example of the corruption uncovered that was smothered under a blanket of secrecy.

Mail-in voters need to be restricted to the military (and make sure they arrive in time to be counted, for Pete's sake. They above all people deserve to have their votes counted) and the legally disabled. Temporarily disabled need the signature of two physicians. Election Day should be declared a national holiday.
I voted mail in in college due to it being unfeasible for me to drive all the way hundreds of miles back to Ohio and then back to Pittsburgh on election day while still attending school. But I had to make a formal request with a valid reason/ explanation, they didn't just hand it to me because I wanted it.
I was a "Voting Officer" as an additional duty as a commissioned officer in the US Army. Before I would issue an absentee ballot, a Soldier woukd have to present to me and provide his ID CARD AND PROOF OF State of Residence. Only then would I verify him, give him a ballot and an address in his home state to send the ballot AND I would notarize the ballot. That is the process which should be followed for ALL mail in ballots.
As for disabled, sick, etc no mail in. Instead they request a Mobile Election Board (counties in AZ are required to provide them). Then that board of 3 people (leader, Dem, Repub)goes to their house or care facility, verifies identity as above, and issues ballot (add: to voter, voter privately votes, places ballot in ballot envelope and signs/seals envelope, leader receives ballot in sealed envelope back from voter and notarizes envelope, and returns it to election office in sealed container providing full identity and chain of custody.) So, there are valid processes which allow people to vote while still properly verifying identity and notarizing same. So why dont they use this process? Because then they couldn't engage in wholesale mail in ballot fraud.
Well in Washington state they EMAIL the ballot to the absentee voter (I know because my daughter lives in Canada with her Canadian husband and she confirmed this) and the voter prints it, fills it out, scans it back to their computer, and get this, EMAIL it back to the election office where they print off the ballot to be run through the tabulator machine. I am an election observer, and we never get to see the original emails etc because their votes are private and we should never see how someone voted, just that the election workers are doing their jobs. RIpe for all kinds of corruption and cheating!! It is so frustrating, UGH.
I had to do exactly that when I was in college and wanted to vote in my first National election. I secured an absentee ballot from my township clerk, verifying my ID AND voter registration, a month or more before the election. I filled it out, signed it, and mailed it back a couple of weeks before the election. The clerks did not open absentee ballots until after polls closed and yet somehow we knew the results later that evening, EVERYTIME!

Hoping this doesn't get lost in the comments and Janice, could you please pray for my situation? Been a C&C'er for 5 years, and many of the original gang may recognize me. I'm floored by today's post because I have been looking into a paired kidney exchange for a close family member who has been on the transplant list for a year. This means a swap with another living donor, with me being the unvaccinated living donor. I never took any of the Covid jabs. I am not a compatible match for my family member- wrong blood type, so the paired kidney exchange is the only ethical option. First off, please know that I took my name off the organ donation list years ago as I knew that brain death was not a real thing and a fake vehicle to harvest organs. I know family members are unduly pressured. I also heard Jan Jekielek's interview on his book several months ago before it was published, and I'm grateful Jeff covered this today. If there is anyone out there like me that is going through a similar situation with a family member, is unvaccinated and willing to look into a paired kidney please message me

She had a transplant in 2005 which has lasted 21 years. She takes impeccable care of herself and had a living donor for her first transplant as well. I wasn’t aware that you could specify you wanted unvaccinated as a paired kidney exchange. I wish you success. I know of someone who recently did this to help a family member and by all accounts it has been very successful with all parties. It did take a long time - about a year- to get set up. That day I removed the organ donor sticker off my driver’s license. I also have met patients who received an organ and experience new life. There must be a better way…..like preventing chronic illness.
I was a surgical nurse involved in organ harvest in the late 1970’s until one time they anesthesiologist removed the patient from the ventilator and the patient began to move,surgery was cancelled and so was my ability to participate in those surgeries, NEVER AGAIN I said. I’m not participating in this type of surgery. Forty years later this is what it has become. Forgive us oh Lord.

They always say the financial incentives lead everything. Start rewarding hospitals and doctors for actually saving lives, a higher amount than what they get from organ removal, and then organ donation returns to its proper place. I have heard that if you have EVER been listed as an organ donor on your license, they may ignore your current status as a non-donor.

That’s correct. And maybe everyone is aware of this, but you also should not have a Living Will on file with your doctor or hospital. Instead, appoint a medical power of attorney who you trust to make decisions for you. A Living Will is a green light to turn you into an organ donor ASAP. An estate attorney can help you with the medical POA document.
IMHO if you have a Living Will, you should shred it today!
How old is too old to fear organ donation? My husband and I both have advanced directives in our hospital charts... While our children have advanced directives and have not added then to their medical information, I'm curious about those over 70 years of age.
I guess that is up to you and your husband. You might want to consider different possible scenarios. What if you, as a healthy, independent woman, have a surgery at age 71 and something goes wrong in the OR. Or you’re in a serious accident of some kind. They tell your family you are brain dead. Would you want to have a chance at recovery to see your grandkids grow up, even if it took weeks or months for your brain to heal? Or would you just want to be done with this earthly life and let your organs go to someone younger? Would you trust your relatives to make a decision based on your wishes?

My husband, after seeing what happened with some friends in his 20s, refused to have anything to do with organ donation unless everything was donated to the patient/family - meaning the hospital bill, the surgeon, anesthesiologist - all of it. He said that the way it is set up now, it is highly unethical, dangerous to potential donors and that hospitals and doctors make too much money off it all to make ethical decisions. As usual, he was 100% on the nose.
He is highly insightful and usually ahead of everyone else (including me) on things of this nature. He sure was on flu & c19 jabs.
At the hospital in GA where I worked for many years, once the potential donor was declared brain dead, any further medical expenses incurred were paid for by Lifelink (the organ procurement agency). I can’t say whether doctors receive money for too but I highly doubt it.
Also, I don’t know if many of you are aware that a flow study can be done in nuclear medicine and if there is no blood flow to the brain, the only things keeping that person “alive” if you will, are the machines and meds.
I’ll never forget when a grieving family member turned to one of our nurses and asked if her child could get a brain transplant. My co-worker didn’t bat an eye. She just smiled sadly and said “Who will be the donor?” and that was the end of that conversation.

Did this after seeing how unvaccinated were discriminated against, with some having to choose between a jab that would compromise their immune system, or dying because hospitals (or donor organizations?) required donor and recipient to be vaccinated. One thing i would recommend everyone do is complete a medical power of attorney that gives a person or persons of your choosing the right to make medical decisions for you. Different states have different forms, but you generally can add it it such as including language that states what has to be done in order for you to be taken off of life support.

Organ donation comes as a result, often, of trauma or sudden and unexpected death. The family is engulfed by grief, and this organ donation is heroism mantra feels like a way that the medical folks and others are trying to assuage the family's grief (and maybe their own grief at the limitations of medicine).
It feels only slightly less yuck than the whole "medical staff are heroes" during covid.
Heroes are people who exercise uncommon courage, bravery, and sacrifice for the good of others.
The dead have no ability to act with courage as they donate their organs. The medical staff were simply doing their jobs - the jobs they signed up to do when they entered the profession. Putting oneself in harm's way is part of the job description.
I had a son who died as a baby and it always distressed me that I wasn't able to donate his organs, so that he could give someone the gift of life that he lost. I believe it would have been a comfort knowing some part of him was living somewhere, even though it wasn't with me. I signed up to be an organ donor for that reason. But last year I read an article, maybe it was the Times article but I don't remember, and it changed my perspective a bit. If I can't live, it does seem to me a very noble thing to give the gift of life to someone else with the organs I can't take with me when I die. On the other hand, I'm not willing that I should die so that some random stranger can live. It gave me a perspective I hadn't had before.

This means a swap with another living donor, with me being the unvaccinated living donor. I never took any of the Covid jabs. I am not a compatible match for my family member- wrong blood type, so the paired kidney exchange is the only ethical option. First off, please know that I took my name off the organ donation list years ago as I knew that brain death was not a real thing and a fake vehicle to harvest organs. I know family members are unduly pressured. I also heard Jan Jekielek's interview on his book several months ago before it was published, and I'm grateful Jeff covered this today. I worked in the PICU for 38 years and took care of a lot of organ donor patients that were traumas. I was at the bedside for many brain death examinations and I can assure you that the ones I helped take care of were not only merely dead, but really most sincerely dead. (Wizard of Oz quote by the Coroner).
My 15 year old sister was in a car accident and a fence post pierced her head. She was on life support for a week before my parents made the anguished decision to take her off. She was most definitely dead. I am not sure if she was an organ donor as this was back in 1974. 42 years later I received a heart transplant as did my niece 5 years after that. While I do not discount the likelihood of certain ghoulish behavior out there, I am forever grateful to the young man and his family who made that most difficult decision to save my life. Those commenters who advocate for ceasing organ donation and redirecting the funds and efforts towards prevention are misguided. There is nothing one can do to prevent a genetic mutation from destroying an organ, regardless of diet, exercise and lifestyle choices. Perhaps going forward with gene therapy techniques but that is well into the future. 10 years post transplant at 61, I probably look and feel healthier than most people my age.

Not sure if you read my other posts, but besides having two physicians from two different disciplines (a pediatric intensivist and a pediatric neurosurgeon for example) conduct the brain death studies, if there was any question, they did a flow study in nuclear medicine. If the blood flow stops at a certain point anatomically, there’s no blood perfusing the brain and that’s that.
I am not defending everything that’s out there. I’m just telling you all of the ones I witnessed during my 38 years in the PICU, I would swear on my life that the correct diagnosis was made. If I saw something, I would have said something- that’s just who I am and how I practiced the art of nursing- ethically, morally, spiritually and physically.

There's been warnings by medical people about the contract you sign if you go into the hospital. One of the tricks they use is by saying that they have a right to give you biologics. It turns out the covid shot is a biologic in their eyes. So do not accept that term on any contract for you or your loved ones who have to go into the hospital. The best thing you can probably do is find a small town hospital where the people who work there know each other and not as inclined to have their hands out for bribes.
Injections is a very broad category. Are you talking just intramuscular injections (i.e.jabs, like vaccines) or ALL medications you could get through an IV? There are a lot of IV medicines I would still take if I were critically ill or injured.

When I had surgery they asked if I would accept a blood transfusion if needed and I said "Only if it's Covid vaccination-free blood." I don't know if it would have any effect or if they were even keeping track with blood donations. I think it might have startled the lady asking the questions. 🤷
Unfortunately, the blood supply is not tracking COVID vaccine status. This is a repeat of Hepatitis C and HIV status in the late 80’s early nineties.

I removed ‘organ donor’, from mine after hearing about the case in Kentucky, just recently, but where the man’s family saw him thrashing about, when the vultures were taking him to remove his heart.
I forget all the details, but they had been told there was no brain function.
Oh, there was brain function alright, he knew what they were doing, and in spite of how medicated he was (to make his family believe their lies) God helped him to move his legs.
The medical people said that was normal in a dying body, for it to thrash about like that.
He lived to tell the tale.

Also, remove the designation from your drivers license. Mine is not just sticker, but imbedded. Getting an updated DL is my last step. They don’t make it easy.

Get a medical directive (different names in different states) that gives power of attorney to direct your medical care. And execute several copies - give one to the person you selected to make decisions for you - maybe one to your doctor, and one for the hospital if you are unlucky enough to end up there. Make sure your family knows of your wishes.

I agree that organ harvesting is being misused, but I think people are wrong when they equate a beating heart with being alive.
I've seen too many people on a ventilator with beating hearts whose heart stopped immediately after the ventilator is stopped.
The only thing keeping them ''alive'' was a machine. This applies even in cases that are not candidates for transplants.

Since learning more in the past year about the reality and cruelty of the organ donation process, when I renewed my driver's license I removed myself from the potential organ donor registry.
After how being unvaccinated got me rejected and hated, with pressures from the medical system to "join the program" I was fuck all. I'm not joining the final program of "organ donation."
Not trying to be repetitive, but I'm trying to make sure all who have said they removed from their ID, know that they must also remove themselves from the list as well.

I went to the site, and I have removed my registration! And I told them why!
Dead people get cold and don't digest food. "Brain dead" people aren't actually dead - their bodies still function.
Also, for others checking your registration... when I searched by my SSN, no record found. When I searched by drivers license #, boom - it was there!
And the awful thing too is that it says family cannot override a person's decision to donate. Eww!
Some states don’t make it easy if you try to do it online. They want intrusive personal info and biometrics.
As a back up you may want to sign and date a rejection statement.
Another reason to have a dedicated medical representative for any hospital procedure or stay.
