Victor Davis Hanson mentioned the New York Times a couple of weeks ago and basically said they are trash and he quit reading them years ago. He basically said their writers were incompetent and biased.

VDH is good…but even he isn’t fully truthful. He knows it’s much deeper and worse than his “incompetent and biased” assessment of them. They are official state media, Pravda. They are not independent media run incompetently with well-meaning but biased reporters. They are professional propagandists. The entire operation is run as the Goebbels propaganda machine was in Germany. VDH fails to give that truth voice. Because he, like Noonan, has his comfortable lifestyle to maintain and wants to still be welcome in the same polite society that she is.
I like VDH... he is about as close as we have got to legit truth telling...but still, I think your remarks about maintaing his lifestyle have merit. I'd put Mark Levin in the same category.
Good for him. The sad thing is that when last I checked Victor Hansen Davis was spouting the standard neocon rhetoric when it comes to foreign affairs. I don’t understand how someone so intelligent can have such a large blind spot.
Then listen to the Mark Halperin interview by Tucker. He said he knew Biden was slipping into dementia in 2017 and yet when asked who was running the country, he said, “Biden”. Typical DC type who tries to tell us he researches everything and has sources but doesn’t see the forest for the DC swamp he lives in.
I listened to the entire Halperin interview, and you’re right; he lost me at that point. Although he did say that there were several puppet masters behind the scenes, and that Biden still has lucid moments.
Two things struck me about that interview…1) that Tucker gave no pushback when Halperin spoke as though Trump had some culpability in regard to J6, and 2) it’s easy to see how Halperin holds sway, he’s very intelligent and has a calming, reasonable way of speaking, that is almost mesmerizing.
In his mind he is the totally objective, independent journalist, and I do believe he genuinely strives for that, but from my staunch conservative viewpoint - fails. He’s a product of his environment, and as you said, a swamp creature.
Great analysis of Halperin. I see him as a 'liberal' in the 60's Dem version/mold, but he always seems to fight against the actual truth in his analysis. He "means" well in his way of speaking, but can't quite bring himself to say and do the right thing (he splits the baby). The J6 piece especially (anyone with an honest brain knows that was an inside/set up job. They knew Trump would be back in 2024, but they needed a narrative shift to try to squash the MAGA movement and decree it somehow 'fascist'/"Nazi" or whatever other stupid word they wanted to call the MAGA patriots), yet he can't see it. Also, failing to do due diligence on the stolen election and the above issue with FJB as described by LMWC. Halperin carries the water for the neocons/deep state as a forever swamp creature. It is interesting to get his take on this though to know how they are trying to spin things.
What is going in the Western World is a top down power struggle for control of the Western World with an primary emphasis on the United States and a secondary emphasis on the EU. Key to wresting power (actually a top down reasserting of power) is a top down shift in the Multi-Generational Narrative, the super narrative which oversees and controls all lesser narratives. What you are seeing now is a shift in the balance of power of Super-Narratives (away from super-Woke and glaring-Globalist to a traditional-Normal and Sane). That is, the control mechanism from the top down to the base of humanity is Narrative Manufacturing. It's always the Super Elites selling 'a story' to the masses.
What the control of the masses is NEVER about is Truth. If it were about Truth, then the lies of Fake Money, false flag 911 and C19 Health Terrorism, Climate Terrorism and many more such could never long stand. And thus, I am also not surprised that the Powers That Be including a host of 'influencers' will not ardently touch the Great Banana Republic of 2020, J6 nor such provocations to the Russians circum 2014 and thereabouts. Nope! The masses are led by the nose by story telling as a kind of entertainment industry.
The apple cart of narratives and super-narratives can be upset. But for this to happen, it takes a huge cultural change such as the invention of the Gutenberg press and the ensuing great Protestant Revolution (which itself had an alliance of power princes acting out of purely political motives).
There are the masses (granted they are varied) and the Apex Rulers with the Money Power pretty much driving the entire show. Then there is the straddle, to go-betweens, the implementers, the facilitators and they are all over the lot, from the clueless and very cluelessly deceived to the relatively very few who know. A large part of ruling, particularly with Everyman having the vote, comes crudely put down to this ... The Art of Wildlife Management. And if the great masses, even including 'the educated' so-called, knew that it was little more than story telling ... and instead knew how 'things' were really done, it would be as Henry Ford is alleged to have said it:
"It is well enough that people of the nation do not understand our banking and monetary system, for if they did, I believe there would be a revolution before tomorrow morning."
If you’ve listened to all of Tucker’s interviews he is very non interactive with guests he is not totally on board with. I have heard Tucker talk about J6, but that is with people like Posebiec, who are of the same persuasions as he. With Halperin, he simply asked telling questions, but let his guest answer. I think he knew many of the likely answers coming from Halperin and he wasn’t going to gain any ground in that respect. I was a bit surprised he didn’t push back more on J6, but that has become taboo to touch on. My own brother, who is a staunch Conservative and originally thought Trump had let a mob into the Capitol because that’s the way Fox News portrayed it. I watched Trump’s whole speech on Right Side Broadcasting, then walk to the Capitol, so I knew exactly what was said and when he left. I knew then he was walking into a trap and found myself yelling at the tv. Did ONE Republican stand up for him? To this day, I can’t stand Marsha Blackburn for her cold denial of Trump after the Capitol, when she swore she would support him before.
You can’t say the election was stolen. In my state it can get you arrested as it did 19 alternative electors who did no more than sign their names.
Tucker did try to push back when Halperin claimed Liz and Dick Cheney not only wouldn’t endorse Trump, but absolutely endorsed Harris as their outrage at J6. My eyeballs. But you can’t really argue with someone who lives in that environment. He lives confident, he is right.
It was funny when I actually saw the video of some of the interview, (I just listen to them on podcasts), and saw Halperin wearing a plaid flannel shirt. How we condescend to the masses in Maine.
I’ve listened to enough of Tucker’s interviews to know that’s his style. And usually I can appreciate the fact that he lets his guests talk and show their true colors and the audience can draw their own conclusions. Occasionally he will push back and he did on a couple of other issues. I suppose I was just a little surprised and frustrated that he didn’t pushback on this because we know where he stands on that issue. Remember how adamant he was about acquiring and showing the J6 tapes on his show? I think it’s one of the major reasons Fox fired him. And it still remains a hot button issue because the left has never been made to acknowledge that it was a setup. It makes me absolutely furious when I hear them refer to it as an insurrection and perpetual liars like Kamel talk about people being killed that day, when no one was armed except the capitol police who shot and killed one woman.
I hope and pray that Trump gets elected and the complete truth of J6 and all the other lies can be exposed.
He also said Dems lead in terms of small donor grassroots funding. Which may be true on its face, but I think he left out the important part: it's shady AF. Act Blue is obviously laundering money and funneling it to Dem candidates via "small donors"...who apparently live in vacant lots or parking garages and each donate 100s of times per year.
Halperin came off to me as someone who can't let go of the pearls he's clutching. In saying Trump says things that are hurtful b/c they break the norms, he pretty much gives away his liberal pearl-clutching self.
It's a good thing Trump says "hurtful" things that upset the norms. They only "hurt" those who are too attached to our corrupt and outdated norms. When your country is run by people connected to Epstein and Diddy, and who actively vouch for satanism and child mutilation, the norms are bad and have to go. Mocking them is the first step, and we all should thank Trump for that.
RU, you nailed that one. I thought the same when he spoke of Dems leading in small donor funding. The correct interpretation of that is understanding how they’ve perfected the art of subversion, laundering and otherwise channeling money into their coffers by nefarious means and calling them “small donor funds”. Right.
He's okay, but he's about 6-12 months behind on everything. It seems to me he is to the "never-Trump" and country club Republicans what the NYT is to liberals: the mouthpiece that tells them it's now okay to have a certain view. And he's not very conservative at all in certain ways, as with the neocon stuff.
Good for him. How long did it take you to figure out the Atheist Jew owned Christian hating NYT? I bet you didn't know that he called our J6 proxy protesters imbeciles. He is a phoney and a moral coward who never talks election fraud. Disgusting.

So, Tucker C is IMHO a better option.
yeah gotta be an heir w FU $$ or Elon to have total freedom..?
