But with China’s one-child policy being so effective, this population has little family to care about (no siblings, very few cousins, aunts, uncles, etc), so it’s just about them. Add to that the loss of any religion - even as they immigrated here and the pressure of parents to excel - there will be a high number of ethnic-Chinese doctors and of those, a high percentage will lack morals that others in the west have, even non-Christians because they’ve benefited from being socialized with those that have Christian values
