I favor the status quo WRT changing the clocks, but the ONE area where I get burned being in Puerto Rico is during the four months of Standard Time (that starts on Sunday) because I'm then an hour ahead of East Coast time (AST vs. EST), which means I have to wait an extra hour every morning for Jeff's Substack to arrive.

We did that in 2024. This year we did early voting but we went in and used the voting booths in person.
Ditto. There are claims made that, by voting early, you remove your name from the public list of registered voters who have not yet voted - and the spam calls and texts sent out by the political parties' election committees will end. In my case, the quantity of those pestiferous imprecations has shrunk.
