That's the truth. I spent 34 years in college teaching and will never have the satisfaction of knowing whether any former student will ever remember my name, let alone what they learned. Once, I found out that a former student couldn't remember what class she took from me, but she did remember what I wore. LOL Most likely, my students learned nothing at all. When you build something, at least you can see it and it's real.

I also remember all my graduate professors. It's different with undergraduates. Taking history was required and they hated having to take courses outside of their majors.

There are a couple of really good Phil Donahue segments talking about vaccine injuries and which vaccines were the culprits.
Indeed, those 60 minute reviews seem like they are from another dimension today; they provide such a contrast to what media viewers have lost it makes the case against advertising pretty compelling.

Right!? Shop classes were my favorite in high school. They combined my artistic skills with my analytical ones. And I had so much fun learning architectural design. But back in the late 70s early 80s they were pushing girls into STEM interests. The same guy that taught our shop classes taught computer programming and he noticed how good I was at that.
But my heart never left the hands-on creation fields, and I was never fulfilled behind a desk programming.

See, I am not good at that stuff at all! Drawing is as far as I get with hands-on creation! I liked shop class because I learned how to do some things that seemed useful to know (like Home Ec) but there was nothing I loved enough to want to do it as a job or even an intense hobby. I did like soldering a lot for some reason, but again, not enough to seek any employment with that skill or anything like that.
YES!!! My education was 60’s & 70’s -had shop in 7th grade-it was great!! I was a math girl so everyone pushed me into accounting 🤮 Oh well! A life wasted. Imagine if everyone loved what they did & were not shoved into college debt?
When i was in school they had cooking and sewing for the girls and shop classes for the boys. I already knew how to cook and i knew enough about sewing to know i was not cut out to be a seamstress so i begged too be let into the shop classes instead. Nope. No girls. That was in the 60s.
We also had ‘Home Economics’-baking, sewing aprons (really? I knew how to sew at 8..), cleaning, & introduced the dishwasher to us-be still my heart! 🤣

Wasn’t it a Kennedy who wrote the book “political courage”? I never read the book but had always heard discussions of it; the central theme being that a good leader does what he thinks is right despite the winds of popularity or lobbyists. That would definitely apply to Trump’s leadership style.

I am so jealous! If I was a young woman again, I’d move to Florida & start my welding career-& I’d take my father with me-the best welder GE ever had 👍🏻
Right!? Shop classes were my favorite in high school. They combined my artistic skills with my analytical ones. And I had so much fun learning architectural design. But back in the late 70s early 80s they were pushing girls into STEM interests. The same guy that taught our shop classes taught computer programming and he noticed how good I was at that.
But my heart never left the hands-on creation fields, and I was never fulfilled behind a desk programming.
I’d LOVE to go back and become a furniture designer, or a welder! I wanna do-over 😩😅
See, I am not good at that stuff at all! Drawing is as far as I get with hands-on creation! I liked shop class because I learned how to do some things that seemed useful to know (like Home Ec) but there was nothing I loved enough to want to do it as a job or even an intense hobby. I did like soldering a lot for some reason, but again, not enough to seek any employment with that skill or anything like that.
YES!!! My education was 60’s & 70’s -had shop in 7th grade-it was great!! I was a math girl so everyone pushed me into accounting 🤮 Oh well! A life wasted. Imagine if everyone loved what they did & were not shoved into college debt?
When i was in school they had cooking and sewing for the girls and shop classes for the boys. I already knew how to cook and i knew enough about sewing to know i was not cut out to be a seamstress so i begged too be let into the shop classes instead. Nope. No girls. That was in the 60s.
We also had ‘Home Economics’-baking, sewing aprons (really? I knew how to sew at 8..), cleaning, & introduced the dishwasher to us-be still my heart! 🤣

It’s interesting that the Missouri population, at least where I live, is completely unknowable but not unsurprising regarding this map situation.
I’m from Missouri, too, and the election map situation is creating a lot of uncertainty and will affect our great Senator, Senator Rick Brattin! They better get this right!

I am not even sure that would help! :P I can give extremely precise instructions (the xyz is on the top shelf on the right side next to the sour cream) and they STILL can't find it (my sons are the same lol).
The struggle is real! Sometimes I get so annoyed. I let my husband look for something for an entire day before I go and hand it to him. 🤣

Men’s brains are wired to primarily see objects moving not those which are stationary. Which explains why they don’t see the dust on the shelf and can focus on the location of a hockey puck the entire game. When my husband opens the fridge or pantry door before he asks I say “it’s not moving or it’s underneath something. “😆

I read this morning that high levels of estrogen, (mimic estrogen in plastics, etc.) and a dysbyosis of the gut can cause brain dysfunction, cognitive decline.
The transitioned male likely would forget the milk, just spitballing.
