My kids call it old. My son in law tells my daughter, in describing someone else’s age: “They’re old. Well, old like your mom, not old like your grandma.”

I’ve decided to claim a need for Age Affirming Surgery: since my mirror says I’m 70 but my mind says I’m 40, it greatly depresses me to suffer this discomfort. Therefore, I am entitled to Age Affirming Treatments free of charge: face lift, tummy tuck, hair implants. These will make my outward appearance match my age dysphoria. This will also prevent people mistaking me as an “old” person. 😉😂
This is hilarious and I agree. At 72, I was labeled "elderly" during Covid. Frankly, I'm just glad to be getting old and still active (and occasionally acting like 12). My mother died at age 62. I thank God for every new day.
I often have the sense of humor of a 12 year old boy (or so I've been told) which isn't very lady like of me (which was a favorite accusation my mother made a LOT). I don't think she realized how much I took pride in it tbh. LOL
My father said it was weird to be treated like an old person by younger people, because he felt exactly the way he did decades previously. He's gone, now, but his perspective helped me transition to now being in the same boat.
There’s a great deal of joy in being ‘older’ and in good health. So much of the world’s pressures (careers, child rearing, marriage maintenance, keeping up with the Jones’) are in the rear view mirror. Expectations others have for you are greatly diminished. My father told me that when my grandfather (in his 70's) went to tell his mother (in her 100's) that his oldest brother (80'2) had just died she replied "well he was an old man"! Age seems to be relative! If it weren't for white hair some of us would appear as young as we feel. My granddaughter oftentimes tells me to stop being silly

It only very slightly improves chain of custody but not nearly enough that anyone can claim 100% chain of custody is achieved. No one has to prove who they are to receive it or put it back in the system. None of this is in play when people have to walk in to a precinct and vote. Voter has to prove who they are just to get the ballot. The ballot is then marked by the voter while in the precinct. The voter then places the ballot in the tabulator and it is counted. It never leaves the custody of the county and the voter. 100% Chain of Custody and Identity. Just. Sayin. I am not saying the way they have it set up with the machines is fool-proof, it is not, because electronic ballots can be manipulated by software but it is better by a magnitude than mail in which is a pure election fraud process.
Until we restore paper ballots, marked and counted by identified voters/election workers at small, local precincts and reported by secure courier (never on a network from programmable computer to programmable computer), we will have s_Elections. Corrupt governments have stolen our voting process and report their results and wont let us verify them.
In the 2020 election cycle, both my son and my husband did not receive there ballots. Same address for years. They both used the California online system. My husband requested an absentee ballot (due to a work trip) and our son changed from non-partisan to Republican. Both did so with in the designated time limits and received confirmation from the site, but never received ballots! Was this an error on the part of the State, County, Postal service or the postal employee? This new USPS tracking system will hopefully weed out the dishonest employees and track ballots in communist states like California! When you are disenfranchised by cheating Democrats at every turn, any check and balance the Fed can provide is welcome!

When I was actively engaged with Virginia's General Assembly some thirteen to eighteen years ago, I found it curious that the Republican Party did not make voter fraud the number one priority. Sure, some Party members occasionally made noises, but in the main the Party by actions seen seemed to be totally disinterested in election integrity. So much of the world’s pressures (careers, child rearing, marriage maintenance, keeping up with the Jones’) are in the rear view mirror. Expectations others have for you are greatly diminished. And if you play it right, the ‘age card’ can be very beneficial. Looks be damned! It’s what’s inside that counts.

In medical school in the '80s, I was taught that 60-69 = "young old;" 70-79 = "middle old;" and 80+ = "old old."
My father told me that when my grandfather (in his 70's) went to tell his mother (in her 100's) that his oldest brother (80'2) had just died she replied "well he was an old man"! Age seems to be relative! If it weren't for white hair some of us would appear as young as we feel. My granddaughter oftentimes tells me to stop being silly

None of this is in play when people have to walk in to a precinct and vote. Voter has to prove who they are just to get the ballot. The ballot is then marked by the voter while in the precinct. The voter then places the ballot in the tabulator and it is counted. It never leaves the custody of the county and the voter. 100% Chain of Custody and Identity. Just. Sayin. I am not saying the way they have it set up with the machines is fool-proof, it is not, because electronic ballots can be manipulated by software but it is better by a magnitude than mail in which is a pure election fraud process.
Until we restore paper ballots, marked and counted by identified voters/election workers at small, local precincts and reported by secure courier (never on a network from programmable computer to programmable computer), we will have s_Elections. Corrupt governments have stolen our voting process and report their results and wont let us verify them.
In the 2020 election cycle, both my son and my husband did not receive there ballots. Same address for years. They both used the California online system. My husband requested an absentee ballot (due to a work trip) and our son changed from non-partisan to Republican. Both did so with in the designated time limits and received confirmation from the site, but never received ballots! Was this an error on the part of the State, County, Postal service or the postal employee? This new USPS tracking system will hopefully weed out the dishonest employees and track ballots in communist states like California! When you are disenfranchised by cheating Democrats at every turn, any check and balance the Fed can provide is welcome!

When I was actively engaged with Virginia's General Assembly some thirteen to eighteen years ago, I found it curious that the Republican Party did not make voter fraud the number one priority. Sure, some Party members occasionally made noises, but in the main the Party by actions seen seemed to be totally disinterested in election integrity. I could not at the time understand why this was, but in retrospect it possibly could be that voter fraud just did not quite fit in with Globalism and the goals of Sustainable Development, code words for the One World Rule by a techno-tyranny. And by the way, I also could see quite clearly that in 2011 that the General Assembly of Virginia was definitely not interested in unmasking Agenda 21 or anything else having to do with the United Nations. And in point of fact the General Assembly actively resisted the various efforts of Tea Parties and Liberty groups to do just that.
Only with the advent of the second Trump administration did things remarkably change. Among other things, both rigged elections and the civil war between radical Marxism and more conservative formulations of Marxism are now out in the open, and as an incontestable fact self-evident. Rubio's report on Cuba is just an extension of all of this activity now coming from the Trump side of things.

I listened to this personal story from former CIA John Kiriakou recently on a podcast. Quite interesting. He was pretty high level and his investigation into the poppy fields was quickly shut down. And there is also a very dark dark story about i think 2k soldiers who had surrendered, got put in storage containers and shipped elsewhere, no ventilation, water, etc, and they all or nearly all died - they "slid out like sardines" when they opened the door. I think the point was that Susan Collins is too much of a RINO for it to make a difference if a Democrat wins. I can see what they mean but I don’t really agree. I still think RINO Sen Collins is better than any Democrat.
The first thing the Dims will do if they regain control of the Senate, regardless of how narrow the margin, is to do away with the filibuster. They have already announced it. Collins' individual vote is the least of the GOP's worries. But her loss would make a huge difference. I try to focus on the big picture.

Any man who dyes his hair is suspect in my book. Don't they know that it only makes them look older? They don't realize that their complexation changes with age and the dark hair is no longer appropriate! Many women do this as well, they go too solidly dark, rather than subtle, because dye builds up and damages hair, so the next application grabs faster and always appears darker on the ends. It is all, very telling.
