There are a subset of people that really are sick no doubt, but the overwhelming majority are simply cowards. They know this stuff is wrong but are afraid of the consequences of saying so.

Look how the transgender stuff took off in schools incredibly fast (over only a few years). Did all those teachers and administrators suddenly become supporters of this depravity? No way. However they are such cowards that they said nothing when the activists went nuts. It was more important to them that they not be called bigots, or protect their pensions, than the protection of our children.

We live in the age of cowardice. Unless you have your kids in an explicitly biblical school, or homeschool, your kids are being raised by these gutless wonders.

Exactly right. The flip side is that the universities and teachers colleges have been turning out Marxist indoctrinated teachers at least since the 60's. The schools are populated by these people more than we realize. If you interviewed all teachers, I would bet the vast majority are Marxist in their thinking. It's not just a few activists.

I earned a masters in elementary education in the early 2000s (only ended up teaching a couple years). The big focus then was multiculturalism. They really have eased in the wokeness slowly over time.

I earned my masters in secondary ed back in the 80’s. The big push for us science teachers was “overpopulation”. So, yes…they have been working at it for a long time.

They’ve convinced themselves it’s to be “kind” and “accepting” and “inclusive” and not “hateful”. 😕 Or they say it’s all made up by the right wing extremists 😕
