Both sides of that conflict engage in terrorism.

As does the United States. The USA destabilized Ukraine, Libya, Iraq, and Afghanistan. All of those places are worse off from American endeavors.

So picking just Hamas as the bad guys is short sighted.

Not only now, but ever since the inception of Israel ... and before.

The year was 1960. And the movie was Exodus, produced and directed by Otto Preminger. All one could hear or see from sea to shining sea were vinyl records and sheet music pouring out, "This land is mine. God gave this land to me." The whole Zionist synagogue showed up at a the Zionist owned movie theater in my town with a specially roped off section. And if you wanted to ever see a show of solidarity, this was it. I was eleven years old at the time and this is one of those indelible mental impressions which never left my mind.

Project Israel was a promotion before and after the Balfour Declaration. And not a good one for American, America and the world in general.

My Uncle Ben married a Jewish woman named Camille sometime after his wife Grace died. Both Camille and Uncle Ben were Christian Scientists which is how they met. Sometime in the early 1980s, I went with my mother to Ft. Lauderdale to visit them. I remember my mother and Camille talking politics and Camille saying that the establishment of Israel was the worst thing that could have happened to the Jewish people. The remark kind of stunned me at the time. I guess that we are now beginning to see why Camille said what she did.

Zelensky is rumored to have already purchased a mansion in south Florida.

Lots of rich tyrants get a nice place down there.

He'll need to flee to it pretty soon, as after May 21 (if I recall correctly) is the last day of his term. Then his risk increases of a coup or worse.

Just like stockbrokers who make money when you buy, or sell stock

IMHO, funding both sides and profiting from war is nothing new but we are paying attention now. I realize everything is misinformation on some level and if anyone exposes something the powers-that-be don't like, they are eliminated by various methods.

I figure I will do my best where I am at, and make a little difference and others can do the same making a big difference overall. Evil will always work to corrupt anything good as long as it exists. It has been since the beginning.

We have been giving Israel money for decades. Hamas was created by Israel to create conflict so they have a reason to destroy, occupy, and take over their "homeland." They want the Palestinians out. Are you implying that we should impose some constraints on the practice of Christianity? Ban it? What about other religions? What about other social movements?

All congregations, religious or not, are used for political purposes. That is ok with me, in fact I'd argue that it is essential. If Christians were not political, they would be legally (or even illegally) eliminated in the US - democrats have been clear on that objective. Because we have become a country of "I am right, you are wrong. Therefore my way must be imposed. There is no negotiating, there is not compromise because my position is pure and good." every movement must be willing to fight or be killed.

Christianity provided the ideological support for most of the evil in teh world. Slavery, Crusades, COLONIALIZATION, Witchhunts killing 9 million innocents, now ENDLESS WARS.

Christians need to do some WAY OVERDUE self inquiry.

Expand full comment

Slavery, crusades, colonialization, witchhunts, war - all existed for thousands of years both before Christianity and in areas where Christianity didn't exist.

Wherever you find large groups of people you will find evil. Look at history and you will find this to be true. Tribal wars in Africa and North America, Genghis Kahn, Stalin, Darius and Xerxes, ...

I know it is oh so fashionable to hate Christianity, but you could eliminate Christianity and you would still have evil.

Christianity is responsible for so much of the good in the world: hospitals, charity, education, democracy, the defeat of tyranny, improved standards of living, elimination of slavery, elimination of child labor,... and on balance, I'd say Christianity is on the heavy positive side of the ledger.

At least try to be objective.

The Evangelical leadership has been abominable, so bad I think it's hard to dismiss as just poor judgment. I think they've been coopted.

They pushed the mRNA vax despite it being experimental and unproven. They knew people trusted them and would follow their recommendation. Those people are now paying the price.

They stand as cheerleaders as Israel kills Palestinians, many of them Christians, by the tens of thousands. There's a wholesale slaughter of civilians going on, and not only do they not condemn it, they approve of it. This based on a Bible interpretation invented two hundred years ago with no historical precedent.

They are completely absent on the culture war, quiet as church mice while kids are being told they need to chop their genitals off. Utterly and completely spineless.

This is what happens when supposed church leaders think it's their job to please men rather than God. There are a few notable exceptions, but most Evangelical leaders are now acting out of fear or something much worse. None of them can be trusted.

Turn to the Word for all answers. Sadly, those who have been bought have their reward, Mat 6:19-20.

Agreed. Dividing the Body of Christ—The Church—over hierarchies and doctrinal minutiae is a waste of time we don’t have. “I resolved to know nothing while I was with you except Jesus Christ and Him crucified” (1 Corinthians 2:2). “There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to one hope when you were called; one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all” (Ephesians 4:4-6).

Here is what the Catechism says:

(must be read carefully to understand)

Catechism of the Catholic Church

edit

The Catechism of the Catholic Church states that the phrase, "Outside the Church there is no salvation", means, if put in positive terms, that "all salvation comes from Christ the Head through the Church which is his Body", and it "is not aimed at those who, through no fault of their own, do not know Christ and his Church".[35] At the same time, it adds: "Although in ways known to himself God can lead those who, through no fault of their own, are ignorant of the Gospel to that faith without which it is impossible to please him, the Church still has the obligation and also the sacred right to evangelize all men".[36] The Catechism also states that the Catholic Church "is joined in many ways to the baptized who are honored by the name of Christian, but do not profess the Catholic faith in its entirety or have not preserved unity or communion under the successor of Peter", and that "those who have not yet received the Gospel are related to the People of God in various ways".[37]

Expand full comment

Actually, no.

Catholic teaching is clear.

It has no capacity to know who is in hell since that is not her domain.

It's also clear that there's no salvation outside the Church. But we are not a card-carrying church. Just because you say you're Catholic doesn't mean a thing. And if you don't know what the Church actually teaches (and therefore you don't embrace it) but you follow the graces of God, you, too have hope. It'll still be through the Church - which is the Body of Christ

Expand full comment

Wrong.

The Catholic Church - whom Jesus Himself gave His authority to at Mt. 16:18-19 - has infallibly declared many times that outside the Church there is no possibility of salvation (see Unam Sanctam for just one example.)

The false Vatican 2 sect taught the opposite, that non-Catholics can be saved.

Christ established one Church, and founded it on Peter. You cannot be saved outside of it.

I say this not to crow, but because I care about all souls. If I did not, Jesus would hold me accountable at my judgment.

Expand full comment

I would agree, Jesus said to Peter “On this rock I will build my church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it “

I would differ in the understanding of salvation not because of the church ,only because of one’s faith in Him.

Expand full comment

Right except that There was no Roman Catholic Church until some false Pharisees usurped and continued to persecute true followers. Still teaching false worship to idols, relics, self declaring sainthood and whitewashing tombs of those they murdered.

The catholic church is the whole of all believers who have been born again by The Spirit not by human decision or acts. Born, changed in heart and mind by The Word of Jesus Christ and no others.

Beware that the teachings of (wo)men in positions of authority and influence gain followings with lies that appeal to the selfish nature of all (wo)men.

Expand full comment

Anthony, this brings up an interesting point. I am a Christian who is a member of a Baptist church. In the past, we would go door to door to talk to people. I never understood why non-Catholics would usually welcome us and thank us for trying to spread the gospel. Catholics would quickly tell us they were members of that church, but seemed to have no common ground with others who only wanted to share their faith (not primarily to invite them to our church). I am supportive of any genuine Christian, even if I don't agree with the denomination they are affiliated with. I'm sorry if you were visited by people who only wanted to invite you to their church. That's not what it is about; it is about a personal relationship with Jesus, the Savior of the world.

Expand full comment

And continuous repentance.

Expand full comment

So when you went door to door what what was your point? Why is it wrong to get them in your church? Get them thru the door and then work the magic so to speak? Perhaps other things were said to Anthony but sounds like he shut them down pretty quick.

Expand full comment

I "shut them down" because I was already set in my relationship with Jesus. Since then, I've had more experience with a Lutheran girlfriend, and a non-denominational mother of a friend, and some of the things I heard them say about Catholics were downright mean and very untrue. As far as I can tell, Catholics pray for a reunifying of all Christians and don't discuss how we are all different. But it sure sounds like other denominations have made a lot of decisions on what Catholics are and do. It's disappointing.

As for us being "a cult", well, cults have religious tendencies but to say Catholics are a cult and other denominations aren't is a head scratcher.

Expand full comment

The main point is sharing the gospel. Of course there's nothing wrong with inviting people to church. It was my experience that as soon as Catholics realized we were there representing a church, or Christ, or however they perceived it, the fact that they were Catholic was the end of the conversation. They usually seemed unkind in my opinion.

When I went through a crisis of faith many years ago with many doubts about God and didn't think I believed in Christ, I thought during that time about how difficult it would be to give up the kindness and support I had known in church.

Not to mention that we can't afford it, we are ignoring our own border, Congress doesn't care one bit about religious freedom, Mike Johnson and the Republicans are doing nothing but giving in to Democrats, our country is being destroyed by a puppet president who wasn't even elected, serious persecution of Christians in this country is quickly heading our way, etc. etc. I have no hope that this country can recover, apart from God's mercy, which we do not deserve.

But He gave us a world and we must act in it, so we mustn't give in to despair, either.

""Let us therefore rely upon the goodness of the Cause, and the aid of the supreme Being, in whose hands Victory is, to animate and encourage us to great and noble Actions. The Eyes of all our Countrymen are now upon us, and we shall have their blessings, and praises, if happily we are the instruments of saving them from the tyranny mediated against them." – George Washington, General Orders, Headquarters, New York, July 2, 1776; Fitzpatrick 5:211-212

I write to my elected officials. No matter how little or how much I do, I still have no hope for change, unless God brings it about. Literally the first paragraph about Russia banning churches.

“ Russian occupation authorities have banned the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church and other Catholic ministries in occupied areas of Ukraine's Zaporizhzhia region, according to the church's main communications office in Kyiv.

The UGCC announced on its website Dec. 7 that it had obtained a copy of an order signed by Yevgeny Balitsky, the Kremlin-installed head of the area's military-civil administration, declaring that the UGCC had been banned and its property was to be transferred to his administration.

Also banned by the order were the Knights of Columbus and Caritas, the official humanitarian arm of the universal Catholic Church.

The UGCC said in its statement the document, written in Russian and dated Dec. 26, 2022, had only now come to its attention. An image of the order, which the UGCC said had been published on Balitsky's official website, was included in the UGCC's online statement.

The order declared that the UGCC's activities were in "violation of legislation on religious and public organizations of the Russian Federation."

The evangelical 'leaders' believe the propaganda and know zilch about history or how the world really works. They, like most Americans, live in a virtual really more of an Alice in Wonderland characterization than not. The words provocation or false flag are not in their vocabulary. Not knowing history includes not knowing 2,000 some years of church history. The church leadership are more ideologues than theologians. And like the government, the churches are largely captured entities, and not autonomous representatives of Christ teaching.

I'll give you a glaring example. As newly minted 'Christians', DeWife and I spent five years in a Baptist country church. Not once did this church teach from the pulpit or in Sunday school from the Baptist Confession of Faith. Not even a single quotation. Not one reference to. We barely knew such a thing existed.

And now, in America, Christianity is largely either Zionist and/or NeoCon establishment churches. Is it any wonder that such churches support Christian hating Zionist or are fine with aiding and abetting government sponsored death campaigns like C19 Health Terrorism. And forget constitutions which are predicated upon God's Law.

Sisters and brothers, we have just been through what is probably the most confusing period in modern history in the West excepting if you were one of those in Europe having bombs dropped on your head in WWII and then it didn't matter if you were English, German or French, it was all the same bombs. We have all been the victims of the largest psyops in human history and those who planned and executed the plandemic have been working on this long before Trump even thought of being a politician. He was no more responsible for the plandemic than Biden was, though Biden willingly went along with it and relished in the power it gave him over us. They are two men cut from entirely different bolts of cloth.

What we have to understand is that we are STILL being victimized by their psyops. They WANT us fighting each other over who is responsible for what happened. At least half of what we think we know is total psyops and misdirection. This is all part of their plan to keep us blind to the truth and to cover their trail. They throw up straw men and false leads and we fall for it, always having our eyes distracted from seeing the actual culprits responsible.

We fell for the lie that there was an actual virus, that it was spreading into a pandemic, that it was deadly, that it originated in some second-rate Chinese lab and that we needed a miracle cure that they somehow managed to cook up, manufacture and were ready to distribute in a matter of WEEKS! IT WAS ALL A LIE! It was all psyops. And still is.

Now they want to keep us fighting with each other over the false rabbit trails they feed us while they roll out their next two phases of their operation: the military take-down of the American people and the conversion of humanity into trans-humanist slaves with no free will. As we speak, a foreign army is being trained, organized and armed inside the US by the Dept of Defense drawn from the over 20 million people that have crossed over our southern border since Biden took office. There are secret military training camps in the interior of the US that are training an army of more than 2 million non-Americans that will be deployed against us when the time is ripe. The fight over the border is just more theater to distract us. The border will never be closed as long as Biden is in office but in any event, the invasion is a fait accompli. It is too late.

The plandemic itself was a military campaign, planned and executed by the US Dept of Defense using politicians and drug companies as fronts. The bio-weapon shot was developed and manufactured long before the "covid" was released, all on Defense Dept contracts under military law. Think about it. Even without direct evidence, no other organization has the capacity, skill set and funding to create such a campaign other than the US Defense Dept. But Dr. David Martin has documented the actual evidence proving all of this. Dr. Ana Mihalcea along with others have documented the proof of the trans-humanist design of the bio-weapon shot. It is heavy reading but if you have not familiarized yourself with their material, then you are uninformed.

https://tuckercarlson.com/uncensored-michael-yon-border-invasion/

Additionally, the geo-engineering/weather modification/chemtrail spraying is also a part of the same plan and is being carried out by the Dept of Defense. The last time the USG went to war against their own people was in 1860. So don't think there is no precedent for what's happening.

When estimates are made as to how many have come across the border since Biden took office, they are just guessing. No one is keeping count. I think I have seen "official" estimates of about 10 million... or less. Double that would be closer. I have seen educated guesses of 20 million. Who knows maybe more. Those numbers are less important though than the organized military age men that have come across as coherent groups. Some I'm sure are terrorist cells of different factions. Some are most likely agents of the CCP. They already have CCP police stations in the US cities with the permission of the Marxists in DC. The cartels are already operating in all 50 states and come and go freely. But what is even more concerning than all that is the rumors I have heard of the DoD contracting for the military training of 2 million men. These kind of things never stay secret for long. There is always a paper trail because it has to be paid for. It's logical the Marxists would recruit from the illegals now that they have finished culling the American military. They could build a separate force loyal only to them for the promise of money and citizenship who would have no loyalty to Americans. We have all seen the videos of the big white, unmarked busses that meet these groups of military age men right at the fence, load them up and then disappear heading north never to be seen again. Two plus two equals...what?

I agree with all of this except that it’s a foregone conclusion. I know plenty of real men that are ready to fight and kill the invaders. I believe it’s way more than a few million. And those pos’ have no allegiance to anything.

Expand full comment

The fight will come when the invaders try to impose their will by force on us. Then we will know who to target as the enemy combatant.

The best estimate I've seen is that over 20 million people have come across the border since Biden took office. I do think deportation is impossible. The effort will be separating those who are subversive and/or criminal elements from those who truly desire to become patriotic Americans. Those we need to recruit to our side.

It is my understanding - which is an open question - that the Marxist USG DoD is training 2+ million non-American recruits who they have imported over the border. Another guess is that this is happening at remote 2 or 3 locations in the western part of the country and is being performed by the same military contractors who support overseas operations of the US military. These men will not be the violent mobs of illegal aliens in the inner cities. These will be well armed military units which will be used against the American people whose only loyalty will be to the ones giving them their paychecks. They will have no moral reticence at shooting Americans.

Expand full comment

"The effort will be separating those who are subversive and/or criminal elements from those who truly desire to become patriotic Americans."

I disagree. Deport them all. They can then apply.....like everyone else in the past.

Expand full comment

I would be in favor of that if it was logistically possible. I have my doubts about that. However, they all need to be identified and required to go through the process of becoming a citizen. Those that do not take that option should then be hunted down for deportation. If you don't allow that option, then you are left with trying to hunt down all 20 million. But the screening should be thorough and rigorous.

Expand full comment

Some joke, to "deport them all"........as you said, it is, indeed, " a fait accompli. It is too late. "

It’s still frightens me that Trump has not said one word about how deadly and damaging the shots are. He could have easily said he had been lied to and that if he knew then what everyone knows now, he would’ve done something about it. And he could stand for ending, those horrible shots and the mRNA platform, which is killing people as we speak, and which will be used for new shots, and will always cause terrible auto immune reactions. Not to be the frightening DNA contamination. I believe he will welcome big Pharma campaign contributions into his campaign coffer.

Expand full comment

He may well say that, and I hope he does, after he is elected. The logic is simple. Because of the psyops, the majority of his base took the shot. If he came out and took that position now, he would alienate a large part of his base because people will not want to accept the truth. You know what I'm talking about. No one wants to look in the mirror and think he is the walking dead because he took the shot or that he harmed his children.

Trump is out of office and cannot do anything about this. However, DeSantis IS the Governor and has the authority to ban the bio-weapon. He needs to perform his duty yet he has not.

It's clear the SSRIs are causing most of the mass shootings, and probably a large chunk of the more recent "trans" delusion. And it's clear they don't work for "depression" or "anxiety" since it's been proven there is no link to serotonin. So, what exactly do the SSRIs do and why do doctors keep handing them out?

RU, when I was on my in-patient psych rotation in medical school in the '80s, there was a patient whom I found funny, because he would say intentionally-amusing things in conversation with the psych team. He never seemed depressed to me, but the psychiatrist assured me he was. Any of them who declined to take the prescribed drugs would go to court in the basement of the hospital, where the judge would hear both sides and always come down on the side of the psychiatrists.

Expand full comment

Drug pushers. I think the entire discipline of Psychology went off the rails in the 70s or so when they decided to politicize the field. They made their best thinkers with the most useful theories into pariahs b/c they were white men who said that the family unit and spiritual systems were both extremely relevant to psychological health. This was intolerable for the leftists, who want the family unit and spiritual systems to be subjugated to the State or dissolved altogether. Of course, this destroyed the ideological relevance of Psychology, turned it into a bit of a laughing stock for a while, and then relegated the field to being the handmaiden of modern Psychiatry and its medicalization of everything. I think our society as whole is now suffering the consequences of this. If it can't be drugged into silence, then it is to be affirmed, enabled, and celebrated as a "diverse" way of living. Even if it results in death.

So, we are now overrun with delusional lunatics.

In a recent Tucker interview with Jesse someone, Jesse stated that one of the biggest threats we have are single white liberal women who are mentally unstable due to ‘mental health’ drugs. I’m paraphrasing but the guy was right. They’re sad, or they’re anxious so they take a pill, and if that pill doesn’t work well, you can take another pill to help the first one work better!

I tried to find the link, maybe it’s on youtube?

Expand full comment

That was the talk radio host from TX that Tucker interviewed. And he was right. If you look at polling, upper middle class and upper class, higher wealth, higher educated, white women are pretty much THE stronghold demographic for all of the insanity: the genital mutilation of children; the virtue-signaling NIMBY support for the illegal invasion; the attacks on free speech and 1A; "vaccine" tyranny; all of it. That is the demo that is driving all of this.

I thought the trans thing would turn them to sanity when it became their own child that was being groomed (b/c most of what they advocate is virtue-signaling and NIMBY in nature), but they shocked me by actually proudly offering up their own children for the sacrifice. The combo of indoctrination in college and mental degradation caused by pills seems to be taking a toll.

As for the drugs, yeah, they're even advertised and marketed that way now: if your "antidepressant" isn't working, you can add this other drug to help it work better...double-down on the stupidity, I guess.

It's pretty amazing how gun-free zones really just put up a sign saying "you can shoot anyone here without danger". Schools are the worst for that, but there are other places that think somehow putting up a sign will stop (checks notes) criminals who want to cause harm. We also get the great demonstration of what happens when you get some cowards in charge like in Uvalde where the police actively worked to stop parents from going in to rescue their kids while just meandering around the halls and refusing to do anything they were supposedly "trained" to do. "...goes to replenishing our munitions."

Who do they think they are fooling? Those munitions will quickly be sent to Ukraine.

Years ago I took work trip to DC. Our CEO was a very well connected individual, and we received an after hours, nearly unrestricted, tour of the capital. (I even took a seat in the Speakers chair which was strangely uncomfortable and uneven.) While many people taking such tours report feeling "awe and reverence", I could not escape the feeling of "being slimed". The karma around that building is nauseating.

My distaste for DC politicians has only been strengthened since then. The US, and probably the world, would be better off if a massive asteroid took out the capital.

I don't know how it would be done legislatively, but I would implore President Trump, after he is re-elected and if he is allowed to take office, to move almost all agencies out of DC and spread them around the country. Now that work from home is pretty normal, there is lots of available office space.

Dept of Education to Boise ID.

Dept of Agriculture to Midland TX.

Dept of Commerce to Fargo ND.

Dept of Transportation to Ripon WI.

DoJ to Bangor ME.

Dept of Energy to Hattiesburg MS

Dept of State to Kansas City KS.

Dept of Homeland Security to Henderson, NV (near folks that actually know about security)

But keep everything out of CA, OR, WA, MN, IL, and NY.

etc....

Disband the Department of Ed. Then you don’t have to move it.

I would heartily endorse that.

Disband them all…except Transportation. Infrastructure matters. Ditch Mayor Pete and slash the dept to its bare bones. Take a page from Milei’s playbook. Most govt agencies are unnecessary money drains….

For whoever suggested the Tucker Carlson podcast as a way to listen to many of his interviews, thank you. Your suggestion was the Bob Amsterdam interview, but I found that to be more of Tucker’s usual style of high drama in setting the corruption table for Ukraine. Amsterdam visited Ukraine telling how horrific Christians are being treated, but still voted for the “package”. Enough of that alphabet soup of reasons. But as I looked at more of Tucker’s interviews, I came across one with Pastor Doug Wilson of Moscow, Idaho. As Tucker can sometimes do; it was like flipping a switch. He quietly interviewed this traditional pastor on all manner of where Christianity in the US has been, is now, and is heading. I agreed with virtually everything Pastor Wilson talked about. He is eminently worth listening to and Tucker did an excellent job of just letting him talk, in ways that all Americans can get. An hour of talk that made my day.

Benz was a must-listen interview also.

This might be the most important interview he's conducted.

I thought the section where he talked about how one's religious beliefs condition one's mind and one's expectations of society was particularly interesting. Much higher level philosophical thought than I was expecting in a relatively short interview.

I was listening (we were) to that Sunday a.m. Since we don't go to church anymore, some of these things supply an appropriate message (though I do miss singing)

When Pastor Wilson spoke on a “new hunger for God” he had not seen in 30 years. He spoke of how when covid shut down churches across the Nation, it flipped a switch for many latent Christians. Something was wrong with that picture. Christian churches should have been leading the way forward instead of hiding in fear. Then was when I had the same feeling. I had been perfectly happy attending a traditional Lutheran church. I even worked part time at the school there. The Pastor and I often talked about the 2016 election and all that went on in the government. None of this was ever mentioned from the pulpit. Politics was never spoken about. We prayed for government leadership, but no names were ever mentioned. When the lockdown started, it was like my church was in prison. No word emanated from them on social media. After the first month they started streaming canned organ hymns and a message from the pastor. In that first month, a pastor from a non denominational country church I knew started doing short messages along with his wife from his farmhouse table. What he talked about was a lifeline. He and his wife got it. They reopened their church within a month. I attended the second Sunday they were reopened. It was quite the eye opener. A very good large praise band versus the traditional organ music and no one singing of my traditional church. Everyone hugging and few, if any masks. But the clincher was the pastor and his Biblical basis for everything. We are encouraged to read the Bible and understand it. My traditional church reopened two months later. The pastor would not wear a mask and did not demand anyone else wear one, but attendance was small and well over half were masked. This persisted into 2021 and beyond. The school reopened the fall of 2020, children and staff masked, per this state’s demands. I never went back to work there. I told myself at least they were open, as much of this state kept school’s closed until the fall of 2021, but I felt like we just gave in. After four years, I now attend both churches. We can usually attend a Saturday evening service in one and a Sunday morning in another. It doesn’t always work perfectly but I am in corporate worship every Sunday. When we travel now, I do not hesitate to find a nearby church and experience it. One of the strong points Pastor Wilson made was corporate worship is important and WE are the change within our churches. A thriving church is one that invites ALL to come visit.

We were living in Seattle during the pandemic, and most of our friends we met at church. When the state shut everything down, our former large urban church and our current, small neighborhood church complied - with canned services over zoom.

A few churches defied the rules and remained open or quickly resumed in-person services, but they were all the kind where you have to wear earplugs so you don’t go deaf during the “singing”. We tried a few and just couldn’t stomach it.

I never realized how important corporate worship is until it was taken away, and “zoom church” is just no substitute. You can’t replace meeting together, singing and praying together. In the same room. But as a classical musician, I just can’t do praise bands.

We now live in AZ and go to a conservative traditional Lutheran church every Sunday. Most of our friends in Seattle don’t go to church anymore. They got used to having two days off to sleep in and do what they want. It is very sad.

Aren’t our taxes supposed to pay to replenish our military supplies?! What they really mean is 75% goes into the lobbyists and military contractor’s pocket.

Expand full comment

If they can just print money whenever they need it, why are we paying taxes? It's a scheme to keep you poor. NO one paid any taxes before 1913. Income tax was found to be unconstitutional, and they stopped collecting until they implemented it again.

1862 IRS first formed for Civil War tax under Lincoln. Income tax was between 3% to 7.5%

1871 Income tax repealed as unconstitutional

1894 Income tax act reestablished by congress at 2%

1895 Supreme Court abolishes income tax as unconstitutional.

1913 Income tax / 16th Amendment / Federal Reserve Act passed in the middle of the night on Dec 24th with half of congress out. Tax rate was 1% to 7%

Anyone else see a problem here?

Yes, we also passed a bill prohibiting the spraying of the skies, but unfortunately it doesn’t take effect until July. Yesterday morning we had a gorgeous blue sky, and then the crisscross of multiple planes spraying the skies over our lake by afternoon. Today is cloudy and gray. Pisses me off that they are still screwing with Mother Nature. I only hope that it will actually cease in July.
