Today’s C&C proves anything is possible. Don’t always believe what the experts and the media tells you, they only tell you what they want you to believe.

It seems too many days we spend worrying. We worry about what happened yesterday or we’re always trying to rush through today to get to tomorrow. If we’re not living in the past we’re trying to live in the future. If we constantly worry about how things are going to work out it’s doing two things, it’s stealing the gift of right now and it’s not allowing God to work in our life. God works where there’s faith. Faith is simply trusting. God I may not understand how this is going to work, but I know you’re in control, I’m handing these worries over to you.

I don’t know how many days I’ve wasted worrying and nothing ever comes of it. Every day is a gift. We are supposed to enjoy all our days, it’s a decision we make. We should not dread any part of our day. God thank you I can work, God thank you I’m strong enough shovel my walk, God thank you for my family. To many of us think someday I’ll be able to enjoy my life. We should be enjoying our day right now.

We never know how long we have here. We shouldn’t take people in our life for granted. Sometimes we go years without talking to a family member or a friend because they may have done something or said something that offended us. If we knew these were our last few days here, would what they had said or done really matter. Would we leave this earth still holding that grudge.

Last week I went to a wake for the wife of a childhood friend, she was only 57 years old. When we were younger we all hung around together. At the wake there were beautiful flowers and I noticed everyone had nice things to say about Sue. Maybe we should learn to give flowers while people are still here. If you have something good to say about me, do me a favor, say it while I’m here not after I’m gone. Maybe if someone had taken the time to call Sue or send her flowers while she was alive things could have turned out differently for her. We never know when someone will no longer be with us.

I heard this story about a father and his daughter named Sarah. Sarah got at odds with her father over a young man she was dating. The father didn’t really approve of him, he didn’t think he was the best for his daughter. This young lady gave her father the cold shoulder. For several years she didn’t want anything to do with him. The father tried reaching out to her, be loving, and kind but she stayed bitter and angry and just totally ignored him.

One day she got a call, her father had a heart attack and was on his way to the hospital. This changed everything, all the barriers came down. She rushed there as fast as she could. The father was a young man he was only in his early fifties. There in the emergency room between them working on him the father asked the nurse for a pen and paper to write a note. Two hours later, before his daughter was able to get to the hospital her father died. When she came into the hospital the doctors had to tell her the bad news, of coarse she was devastated. How am I going to live with myself knowing I didn’t make peace with my father? Soon the nurse came out and handed her the note, she said your father was holding this note when he passed, it was addressed to you. The note read Dear Sarah, I love you, I forgive you, please forgive me. Today she carries that note with her everywhere she goes.

If we are at odds with someone how are we going to feel if they’re taken away without being able to make things right. We may not be able to be the best of friends, but we certainly are able to become at peace with each other. There are so many people I know that have regrets, and there’s always opportunity to be the bigger person just for the sake of peace. It may be hard and it may be unfair but it may let you live without carrying the burden of regret. Today is a great day to pick up the phone, send a note, do the right thing, be the bigger person. Don’t let another day go by without trying to resolve an issue you know will one day leave you carrying the weight of regret. J.Goodrich

Thank you JG. Your words are full of wisdom and this is so true. “Be the bigger person…” I find that personal pride is always standing in the way of doing what my heart knows is right. “We’ll, they should apologize first...” Let me dismantle this kind of emotional wall and stop wasting time. It’s always later than we think.

I give so many compliments out a day. I am a literal compliment machine. I tell women how pretty they are, what a great complexion they have, how cool their ensemble looks. I give out lotto cards to grocery store employees I have gotten to know, give Bath and Body Works hand soaps as gifts to stylists, librarians, rental car employees; all strangers but those that need a kindness or pick me up. Flowers to my bankers and the list goes on. I tell men they are handsome or interesting or fit. I throw all the positives out there! My heart lights on fire when no one expects anything and then the smile you see when even a small token or compliment makes such a difference. Feeds my Soul. That is why we hear the adage little things can make all the difference!

This is wonderful, and great when it works. It takes two and some of us have a kid so woke they left us. The kid is so brainwashed, that others have started asking us(her sister and dad & mom) “what is she so angry about?” (She posts on socials) We can only laugh at this point (it started during Trump 1.0) and keep praying🙏

James Goodrich's avatar

You can only do the best you can Carol. The sad thing is your child may have to live with the regret of how they treated the people that loved them. I’ve had dozens of conversations with my sister. She tries to move past it but she regrets how she treated my mother. At times she was terrible to her, and my mother only tried her best to be a good mother. My mother was my best friend. 33 years later my sister still talks of her regret. My advice is give them space but don’t give up, miracles do happen.

Carol M.'s avatar

Yes! It will be a miracle and we talk about it happening. Her sister is a stickler “she must apologize!” Our son in law says she needs an additude adjustment. Her Dad says “we will just go forward.” And I am not quite sure how the new relationship would work? I forgive but can’t forget🙃 fear of being hurt again, I guess🤷🏻‍♀️

Willing Spirit's avatar

@Carol. Sounds like my daughter’s SIL, that she had to call and vent about yesterday. That poor woman is hospitalized, undergoing tests because she thought she was having a heart attack. They’re not finding anything physically wrong.

All that we conservatives perceive as great news, sounds like a nightmare to her and she can’t disconnect from all the negative social media posts and the lying MSM.

TDS has broken her and through the fog of the constant bombardment, she can’t see what a good life she should be living with her fine home, what seems to be a good husband, and five healthy children of which anyone should be proud.

She seems to believe that saving the world from Trump is her personal responsibility and requires her full attention.

Her name is Kirsten, she lives in Atlanta and she needs prayer.

Do you have a side gig somewhere…. Will you invite us?

TriTorch's avatar

I sunk a cruise ship on my last gig, can't go on another boat ever:

A third rate magician is doing magic shows on a second rate cruise ship

The pay is good, the accommodation is comfortable, the food is excellent, and the two show a day workload is easy. The always changing mainly elderly audience seem to enjoy his show which is unoriginal but has the polish of hundreds of repetitions. All in all, it's started out as a great gig except for one glaring issue. The captain has a talking parrot that he brings to every show. It has worked out how all the tricks are done and gives away his secrets to the audience after every trick.

***"It's a fake water jug Squarrrrk!" "The rabbit is under his hat Squarrrk!" "The girl is hiding under a trap door Squarrrk!"***

Now the audience finds this hilarious. So instead of coming to see a magic show the crowds are coming to see him being humiliated by a parrot, 2 shows a day, 7 days a week.

Utterly depressed and desperate, the magician struggles to find a spectacular new trick to wow the crowd and that the parrot can't work out. He eventually announces an elaborate disappearing trick involving pyrotechnics and a ring of fire, however the first night he tries it, he accidentally ignites a nearby gas line causing a catastrophic chain of explosions that causes the ship to break apart and sink almost immediately.

The next morning the sun rises on an empty ocean except for a single piece of shattered lifeboat with the magician clinging to one end and the parrot perched at the other end out of reach. The magician glares at the parrot and the parrot stares back, but not a word is said. This goes on for a day, then another day. On the third day the parrot finally breaks the silence.

***"OK I give up. Where's the ship?"***

For far too long people on our side have acted similarly to an abused child. When the media/left framed a question along the lines of, "how long have you been beating your wife?" for some reason conservatives felt obliged answer the question as if it was asked in good faith. They were unwilling or unable to tell the questioner to get bent.

We need to be much more willing to tell people to go screw themselves. Conservatives (particularly Christians) have been brainwashed into thinking our principles require that we treat everyone politely. On top of that, most are too timid to call out bad faith actors out. It is nonsense, decency is reserved for decent people. It is an act of immoral cowardice to extend decency to people behaving dishonestly.

Read how Christ treated the hypocritical Pharisees, it is eye-opening. He didn't politely answer their dishonestly-framed questions but called them sons of Satan. He didn't give them an inch but rejected the very premise of their questions. Yet for some reason we are not allowed to do this because of our principles? Exactly who decided this? The people who benefit from our passivity decided this, it's not in the Bible.

People acting in bad faith are easy to spot. They frame questions or scenarios dishonestly, they use guilt and emotional manipulation, they try to pressure others into actions that benefit them. A perfect example is the pushy salesman who won't take no for an answer. Not only are you allowed to tell him to go screw himself, you really have a moral obligation to do so. Otherwise he pays no price for his bad faith behavior.

It is amazing to me that Trump, who is universally portrayed as a cruel, crude, buffoonish, evil boob, is the first Republican in decades to understand its is immoral to extend decency to indecent people. It is immoral to be nice to a bully, and to people attempting to manipulate us. And as we see in Vance, Bessent, and Rubio, that courage of his is contagious.

Dave aka Geezermann's avatar

Something to consider, yes. Trump takes flack for speaking candidly. He also uses trolling against his enemies. He recently was chided for that meme of Obama and Michelle as primates. Perhaps he was referencing Kenya. Trump knows Obama is a liar and traitor.

I agree, his courage is mirrored by Vance, Rubio, Bessent, AND Hegseth and Tulsi.

Even deporting a million a year will take years, especially considering the judicial opposition by the Dems. Incentives for self deportation are a good adjunct. And there must be a push to involve the County Sheriffs in assisting ICE. WA state is suing their Sheriffs who do so, disgusting.

In the meantime, the SAVE Act must pass so our elections will actually mean something, and cannot be rigged and stolen.

Penny North's avatar

We need a big daily counter that shows the numbers deported, and that self deported that day.

Jake's avatar

Not allowing them to vote or steal would thin out the herd in a hurry. I strongly believe those two are very high on the Trumpsters to-do list..

rolandttg's avatar

still like the idea of posting ICE agents at all polling stations

dancingtime's avatar

Cannot do that...cannot even allow anyone interfering or influencing voting within X number of feet...not to say that they could not hang around parking lots but not a good idea politically..

Dave aka Geezermann's avatar

That would be considered election interference. Now, if by that time the Insurrection Act has been invoked, the elections could be secured using the military, to prevent rioters and agitators from keeping citizens away from the polls.

dancingtime's avatar

I think that issue of sheriffs helping the feds was settled some time ago in Arizona....Long was his name, as I recall...went to SCOTUS...the sheriff is elected, not appointed, and works for the people...also, Constitutionally the last line of defense from a encroaching government...it is the sheriff who is authorized to call up a militia (the people)...

Dave aka Geezermann's avatar

True, and that is what WA state is trying to do, take away that power as an elected official. Sheriff Mack has been talking about this.

Of course with Switzerland they are going to shift all the blame real or not to Trump, but 3 big factors to their current unpleasantness. 1) The US taxpayer has been subsidizing their socialized medicine through extreme pharma prices as Jeff says, but 2) Switzerland also raised their corporate tax rates - a big factor in itself, and 3) Don't forget the US taxpayer has also massively subsidized their defense since WWII as a defacto, but not actual, NATO member, which they enjoy protection but have never even had to pay even a little tithing into NATO for... allowing them to spend their money on everything else...

Judge ADMITTING that for 30 years the CRIMINAL human Trafficking Complex/US Govt has been waging mostly non-violent invasion (among all the other nefarious policies and acts). The Biden-Mayorkus Nail In the Coffin Phase 2021-24 is the ONLY thing that provoked this current pushback. Not racism, xenophobia, hate, White Supremacy and non-inclusion. The Democrat Party Policy IS INVASION and every town a border town. Dems conditionalize assimilation and steer the Newcomers to resettlement and dependency, leavened with entitlement and steeped in hatred toward whiteness and all things Conservative-American. Republicans never truly opposed INVASION as they were bought off and threatened with name-calling. Abbott, DeSantis, and Trump were the willing lightning rods for media targeting and malignment to even raise this as an election year issue and make a last-ditch effort to defend our nation, people, and Constitution from the effects of this latest phase of malignant, mainstreamed, mass Invasion.

Ok I just saw this on X and it took my breath away at first, but now I’m thinking that it makes some sense. I haven’t researched it, could be false, but I want to know if my fellow C&C’ers have heard this related to Nancy Guthrie’s disappearance.

https://x.com/catturd2/status/2020077774682390817?s=61&t=Paio8Fg6u1DIo-jQRCfLqg

It should go without saying, but none of this precludes all of us continuing to pray for her safe return.

Margot Wooster's avatar

Of course “the news” is not going to tell us this. Something is very fishy about this whole thing.

An 84 year old woman, in seriously compromised health, who can't walk 50 yards, living alone, in a huge house with a yard and a pool, all requiring regular professional maintenance, in pitch black desert darkness, yet the family was lax about security? Why wasn't she wearing a life alert necklace? Irresponsible if not sketchy. Nothing would surprise me.

She wore an apple watch, tied to her phone which tracked her heart monitor, as well. "Nancy’s pacemaker last synced with her Apple devices roughly 2 a.m. on Sunday, Feb. 1. Investigators said they believe that’s when she was taken out of range, as her Apple Watch was left behind charging."

Most of AZ is "dark sky" for the observatories. The area is almost semi-rural, just outside N Tucson. Street lights, when there, are all low level here; From the air, even down town, lights look almost yellow at night. That area has very few street lights.

Too bad the video from a neighbor's door camera which triggered about that time wasn't subscribed to save it.

This vid shows the terrain they are looking at:

I have no problem with the dark skies. I have a problem with leaving a compromised 84 year old alone under those dark skies.

Public executions are needed for anyone involved with child sacrifice. There is no place in the world for the kind of evil that is.

Aegeandreams's avatar

Very powerful stack. TY for sending. We all have known how insidious and full of rot the rothschild house is along with many others. All this reminds me of the movie Hostel which will make you sick to watch even though it 's victims are adults. You wonder who thinks this up unless it already existed and they bring it to the full screen. A moral reckoning is in order and they all need to die. Period, end of story. There is no place in the world for SRA. It must be utterly destroyed and turned to ash. Each and every single one of these things in skin suits must pay here and in the hereafter.

Kay Griggs interview tapes, Joachim Hagopian , Preston James,,Amazing Polly, Jim Fetzer, Lasha Darkmoon, Mypatriotsnetwork, Gene Decode, Michael Jaco, Sunnys Journal, and many more have covered it. The sickness and evil in every corner of the earth is more prevalent , and darker than decent people could ever imagine. Been running into it constantly in my 18 year dive down the rabbit hole, so don't expect it to get better. How far have I gone? Far enough neither my wife nor I cannot imagine any disclosure about anything that would shock us.

Bard,

That is a very good point and probably right on target.

Dems always used their 'distract, distract button'.

Almost every week it seems.

Valerie's avatar

It’s pretty odd, I agree. Tried to listen to Megyn kelly’s show yesterday and it was analysis in microscopic detail of everything from this case. It was just too much. And why? These things happen all too often, what are we being distracted from yet again?

Aegeandreams's avatar

Agree. This stinks to high heaven.

Bard Joseph's avatar

SHug's avatar

It's distraction. Whenever you see something like this, look for what they don't want you to see.

Juju's avatar

Yes I knew about her and her daughter’s sheer hate for Trump followers a while ago. I had to fight back this knowledge when the news first broke. I also had to keep my thoughts to myself all week that I had while watching the first taped plea from her kids, because sharing it would have felt cruel and lacking compassion. Then yesterday I noticed others start to speak up, and lo and behold I wasn’t alone.

Something about it seemed so phony and scripted, so my mind couldn’t reconcile what I knew they should be/are feeling and their weird statement. I remember turning to my husband halfway and saying “something is really odd about this”. Of course I still can’t figure it out, but the lack of authenticity was there and that’s strange because I’m assuming Samantha is devastated. So far I chalk it up to this: when you spend your entire waking hours for the past decade or more living inside a hateful script full of deception and lies, when reality hits through a tragedy you’re brain doesn’t know how to exit the script. Everything with the left is a drama queen level performance. They are incapable of true humility and honesty with themselves much less anyone else.

The statement was unnecessary. An authentic, teary plea to the kidnappers would have worked 1000x better than the script someone wrote them. Do they have Hollywood on speed dial?

I don’t know.

I’m trying to care enough, and I don’t want to delight in any of the democrats suffering, and I wouldn’t create that suffering myself, but truth and reality WILL catch up to everyone at some point and there are consequences - and sometimes it’s hard to not see that when it happens.

Aegeandreams's avatar

Agree Juju. I now flip the station when anything comes up on her mom. And since finding out her mom is TDS raging libtard, I will officially stop praying and I don't care what happens to her and will chalk it up to karma. I rather pray for another 84 yo who is a good and moral person, without TDS and leads a good life.

Juju's avatar

Ahhh but we are to pray for our enemies. It’s a practice that fine tunes our own hearts.

It’s difficult

SGs husband worked as clean up for the Clintons. He deleted any negative info on the internet about them. Is this message to him to keep quiet?

Valerie's avatar

I hadn’t heard that. You’re sure it’s true?

Susan Seas's avatar

Yes. Michael Feldman, Savannah Guthrie’s husband, worked for the Clinton administration. He served as a senior advisor and traveling chief of staff for Vice President Al Gore and was one of the chief liaisons to Congress for the Bill Clinton administration. His political career spanned eight years in the Clinton-Gore White House, where he held various roles, including legislative analyst for the Senate Democratic Leadership's Democratic Policy Committee.

SHug's avatar

Interesting. Esp with their testimony coming up.

Aegeandreams's avatar

If he could work for the disgusting and revolting satanic clintons, he is just as bad. I don't give a shit about the guthrie family and to think I wasted prayers for the tds 84 yo nasty old hag.

Valerie's avatar

The clean up part? Is that public info?

Looks like a staged psyop.

Steenroid's avatar

I don’t doubt it but I for one will be glad when they find her body. After a week I will be surprised and happy if she’s still alive. But I doubt she is alive.

Carolyn's avatar

I don't believe for a minute she was kidnapped..the family statements on their TV appearance were off..flat..hollow. With this info, it becomes clearer. It was staged. To blame Trump or a supporter or an ICE supporter. To raise funds for more anti-ICE protest??? Or all of the above..GOD is fulfilling HIS promises of exposing things done in the dark to the light which is truth. My husband had the Muir guy on last night showing the family. Not one word about President Trump reaching out to offer help or Patel being sent to help. It is a fearsome thing when the most high GOD gets a hold of you.

exactly. If this is true, the whole guthrie family can go "F" themselves, the anti american criminal loving sicktards.

I work with the elderly in a blue state. They are very easily brainwashed by the media. Yesterday I overheard an 80 something's wife chatting with him. She says" Trump just fired half of the Washington Post reporters. You know, that's exactly what Hitler did."

He just nodded.

A lot of the elderly seem like they have it together, living on their own. But their cognitive skills aren't always there anymore. It's why they'll run to the store and buy thousands of dollars of gift cards to pay" bills" when threatened by a " bill collector" on the phone. Or how our once very savvy friend in the last days of his life started selling everything he owned to move to Florida with a " woman" 40 years younger than him who was sending him nude photos and professing her undying love for him, though of course they had never met in person and she was in need of funds to move with him.

Spend a little more time in conversation with your elderly friends and relatives. They are very good at hiding their mental decline in short , superficial conversations. 💔😢

Kathleen Janoski's avatar

Convinced that the covid DeathVax contributed to the cognitive decline.

Along with the use of statins.

shibumi's avatar

A researcher on substack named Walter M. Chesnut has talked about it. Amaloyd plaques. It's real.

Plus... people believe what they want to believe. So if Trump firing WaPo reporters fits their narrative, they believe it.

Steve Stevens's avatar

“ I work with the elderly in a blue state. They are very easily brainwashed by the media.”

That is so true! The opinion pieces in Substack are probably their only source of information.

K S's avatar

As a recent widow of an adult child I initiated a limited authorized agent agreement with my child. It give them limited access into my finances to make sure no shenanigans are going on. It’s a great tool, it doesn’t allow them to take any funds unless I give the authorization. Later on I can change to full authorization if needed. My child also has a tracker on my phone, to make sure I’m ok.

Renea Buchholz's avatar

Of course… 84 years old and needing meds. A mom and grandma. I did hear something odd yesterday about a phrase her daughter used in their plea to the public. “ talk to her and you will see” a bunch of people recognized that it was the same phrase from Silence of the lambs. So people are asking coincidence or code?

KatLee's avatar

Savannah’s husband was a fixer for Bill Clinton. Coincidentally, the Clintons are fighting (again) to not testify. And why is Fox News covering this 24/7 like nothing else deserves any attention? This whole thing is bizarre. And seemingly resembles a movie production. Kinda like Pelosi’s production of Jan. 6.

Jake's avatar

Roger Beal's avatar

A nice break from thew wall-to-wall Epstein coverage?

Aegeandreams's avatar

The hell with all of them, including the tds, illegal criminal loving, anti-ICE loving mother. No more prayers for her.

Bard Joseph's avatar

All scripted. Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain.

Valerie's avatar

Right? My reaction too.

Aegeandreams's avatar

Wow, if true, she is one of the worst and an enemy to our country. I have to be honest, if true, I would have to rethink my prayers for her in that case. Hard to believe an 84 yo old would be so rabid and foul. Imagine what she teaches her grandchildren.

Need more info but this case has stunk from the beginning and honestly, I am tired of hearing about it now as it is all we are seeing and hearing about. I wish the same energies would go for a kidnapped child, no matter their status or family fame.

Roger Beal's avatar

Why was this published? To encourage people to think that Trump supporters kidnapped Mrs. Guthrie as retribution?

Valerie's avatar

I think the point was that though her cultivating anti-Trump extremism she may have caught the attention of some of the people ice is trying to deport. At least that was what I gathered from it.

Years ago, a Swiss architect bemoaned how horrible housing was for the poor in the US, and it was far superior in Switzerland. To have Somalia pass Minnesota, in both logic and technology, is a downright embarrassment for the leadership in the state.

Jake's avatar

What's the penalty for voter cheating in Somalia? Asking for a friend....

Inverted Pyramid's avatar

What punishment can you receive?

Somalia does not have one single simple penalty chart like the U.S. Instead, penalties come from the general criminal code and electoral statutes. In practice, voter-fraud-type conduct is prosecuted as corruption, bribery, falsification of documents, or public-order offenses.

Typical punishments include:

A. Prison (most common)

The Somali penal system uses imprisonment as the standard punishment for criminal offenses. Courts may impose jail terms for offenses disturbing public order or falsifying information.

For corruption and election bribery–type crimes, penalties generally fall under criminal corruption provisions, which carry criminal prosecution and incarceration.

B. Fines

Courts can also impose monetary fines along with or instead of jail time under criminal provisions.

C. Disqualification / political consequences

Even beyond prison:

loss of office

annulled election results

political bans

These are common administrative consequences in electoral disputes.

Margot Wooster's avatar

It certainly should be!

Ya know, I.... don't sympathize. I'm tired of worrying about The World and their living conditions.

Do the Swiss care about the poor in America, or the middle class that can become bankrupt if they get sick and can't meet their deductibles? I don't think they do. Europe has been leeching off the US for decades, and at this point, they can put on their big boy pants and figure it out on their own. As for their citizens who can't pay for drugs, they can do exactly what people the the US have to do when they are faced with that situation: Figure. It. Out.

Also... Switzerland: not Scandinavian.
