“Either way, Dems can’t complain about retaliation, since this investigation began during the Biden Administration.”

My very first thought! They can’t get mad at Trump this time. They can’t shout “He’s going after his political enemies!” Nope. He’s finishing what Biden started. And if Newsom gets caught up in the mess (oh PLEASE let Newsom get caught up in the mess!), it’s going to be B-E-A-E-TIFUL!

I was at a farmer’s market a month or so ago. I’m in the Los Angeles area, so it’s pretty liberal here (okay, they went off the cliff years ago and they’re digging a hole because it’s still not far enough). Anyway, there was a sign there that said, “Think with your heart.”

Yeah, no, that’s why we’re in this position in the first place. 🤮

Years ago, reporters stopped asking what interviewees THINK & started asking what they FEEL.

Contorting their faces to approximate expressions of empathy, they’d bleat:

“And how did that make you FEEL?”, “How do you FEEL about that?”

It was part of the deliberate dumbing down that PsyOp media has engaged in - trying to divorce interviewees & viewers from LOGIC.

Investigations of media impartiality should be in the investigators line-up. The long-standing rule in the US is that any investigation whatsoever is infringement. Long demonstrated by the unfortunate presser called as a witness in a court proceeding who refused to identify their source of information relevant to the proceeding being held in contempt by an irate judge. Impisition of formal journalistic standards was likewise seen as infringement. The idea being that any limitation or restriction necessarily impedes the freedom of the press. The remedy for slander and defamation was to be found at the courthouse. But New York Times v. Sullivan made recovery by a public person nigh on impossible. Which let the journalistic dogs out so to speak. I think of it as the I lied but not maliciously defense whereas truth was the only defense formerly. But the Trump versus the BBC dust-up may prove the impetus to change things here too. Believe it or not in the UK the press is still held to some standard tied to the truth as they do not embrace the freedoms in the Bill of Rights the way we do. In theory anyway. So if the BBC goes down on its Trump (and Gaza) misdeeds it will cause anyone with two firing neurons to re-examine the American press. We fo not even really need lawsuits and judgments. We just need for the voting citizenry to not believe everything the press puts out is accurate.

Mark Joseph (of the Reagan movie fame) outlined a straightforward solution years ago to prevent a US civil war: a clean territorial swap with Canada. U.S. cedes to Canada:

◦ California

◦ Oregon

◦ Washington

◦ New York

◦ Massachusetts

Canada cedes to U.S.

◦ Alberta

◦ Saskatchewan

◦ Manitoba

This exchange lets each side govern as it wishes, ends the toxic standoff, and avoids bloodshed—common sense in the face of irreconcilable divide. No more angry Thanksgivings…

Trump meant his existential threats to Canada (and Greenland) shortly after his inauguration (where he refused to place his hand on the Bible - invalidating his oath) in 2025Q1. When asked, at that time, if he would consider deploying US military to make good on his existential threats to your historic best friend, Trump dismissively replied, "No, that's an economic take-over."

We will have the Club of Rome's North American Union. Trump's masters are seeing to that.

So in your first response you confidently alleged that by failing to place his hand on the Bible Trump “invalidated his oath…” now in this response you find your “proof” and in the link to the CBS story the article immediately goes on to note that it is not required: “While it is common for incoming presidents to place their hand on a Bible while taking the oath of office, it's not a legal requirement.”. That same article mentions that his wife arrived with two bibles and that she stood near him as he raised his right hand and swore his oath. And, that Trump did place his hand physically on the Bible’s for his first inauguration: “At his first inauguration in 2017, Mr. Trump did place his hand on the two Bibles — the family Bible and the Lincoln Bible — when he took the oath of office.”. Your same article notes: “It was not immediately clear why Mr. Trump made his oath of office on Monday without his hand on the Bible.” Your article did not speculate on any nefarious reason nor suggest that this act somehow invalidated his Presidency - yet you sought to infer that specifically. Why our President bothers you so much when you don’t have to live under his administration suggests a deeper distress in you. And I’m sorry you’re suffering. I don’t find myself venting or even thinking about your leaders. In fact, I don’t think I could name your current Prime Minister. Yet, as a Canadian you feel compelled to rage against our President. Very interesting. I wish you peace, good snow and Molson beer. And I sincerely hope they bring you joy this winter.

None other than our present SOS, Jocelyn Benson. She has been brought up on charges of mishandling the 2020 election count, found guilty, but the AG, (part of the 3 witches from Hocus Pocus), refuses to go further. At some point, they decided to put their $$ where their prayers were. They got involved— and I mean, INVOLVED. They slowly

went from 15-20 to about 160 people, started learning the “systems”, getting people to help slog through the mire of government elections and how to get elected, got elected to school boards, low level government positions, and now a handful are in higher— like HIGHER, government positions.

Initially, they did small things like enlist legal help to BAN masks for school kids at one of the 3-4 counties they live in.

They taught themselves the ropes, were

Before California went to mailed ballots, not all that far in the past, as a registered voter you were assigned a specific place in your area to go cast your vote. When you got there, they had a list with the names and addresses of registered voters and you gave them your address. Then you printed and signed your name beside your address and they would give you a ballot. I don't think we ever had to show an ID. There were a couple of voting machines, but it was mostly booths to fill the ballot out by hand. When finished, you would hand it to a person who would slip the ballot into a large box with a slit for the ballot to fit through, and you watched them do this. Then you got some sort of receipt that you had voted. I never noticed anyone arriving to vote who was not already registered, so I don't know what they would do if that happened. The polling places were always staffed by volunteers, mostly older retired people.

At one point we got a notice that California was "testing" the idea of mailed ballots. We didn't like that at all, but the practice snowballed from there. When I recently voted in our stupid, illegal Gavin Newsom Prop 50 election, we got our ballots by mail but took them personally to our local government center and put them in one of those ballot boxes ourselves. I noticed that in the same room there were also polling booths.

Good history CMCM. The left has taken care of the shortcomings (in Oregon) by registering everyone that visits a government office, especially the DMV. Bingo, bloated voter rolls. Mail ballots have a very low bar to assure being legal, a signature that claims by attestation the person is who they say they are, read by a receiving scanner with accuracy points set very low means very few ballots are rejected.

Mail in convenience. That is a large hurdle as Americans are addicted to convenience. I hear this often "it's so easy". Never mind there is no chain of custody. Laziness and deception is killing the electoral process.

I replied "common sense, Street sense, and actual lived experience.". He just waved me off as if none of that was legitimate and started talking about something different. It was quite an eye-opener.

Some of the dopiest, dumbest, most rigid thinking people I've ever met were those vaunted PhDs who thought so highly of themselves. What I soon I realized was that the title means you spent an inordinate amount of time studying some esoteric, narrow subject and probably knew a lot of facts about that one thing, but these people nevertheless elevated themselves to believe that their PhD implies they know everything about everything. He was teaching kids how to teach ESL, yet he had never taught it himself, he just knew all the latest theories about it. Full disclosure, I wrote this last night and it isn't relevant to today's commentary. If that offends you then collapse the post and move on. I'm not making any apologies having been the sole focus of yesterday's post.

Having thought about it a bit more, I really am a bit stunned by yesterday’s post. Since when does Jeff Childers use his entire daily commentary to solely address a comment made by a single individual? Since never as far as I know, I think it was unprecedented. I don’t recall it ever happening in the four plus years I’ve been reading here. He’s entitled to do it of course, but why was it needed?

Along those same lines, since when does a single comment evoke nearly 500 responses, probably half of them childishly hysterical name-calling? Seriously, much of the responses to my comment were embarrassing, if your kids were talking to people like that you’d have punished them. Very little rational thought, people throwing emotional hissy fits, impugning other’s motives, and generally behaving like jerks. They’d never talk to people like that in real life because they’d get their ass kicked if they did.

The fact that so many people turned off their brains and just had childish meltdowns, makes my point far stronger than I could have. The MAGA agenda is in deep trouble and people sense it. They are frustrated and feel things slipping away. Would an embarrassing debacle have happened like that back in March? No way. The fact that Jeff Childers felt compelled to spend an entire post responding to my comment in what was effectively “damage control” is not a good sign. Like I mentioned I don’t think it’s happened before.

And with tremendous respect to Jeff Childers (as I don’t know how he does it every day), he kind of missed my point. My point was that as his supporters, we are perfectly entitled to say, “wait a second Mr. President, this isn’t what we voted for, please listen to us.” The hedge fund billionaires and the war-mongers are lobbying him continuously, they aren’t keeping their concerns to themselves. But we aren’t allowed to do the same? Criticism can be constructive, it’s not just disloyalty and abiding the enemy.

The “affordability” issue is not an illusion, Trump needs to address it (and us) honestly. All the talk about psy-ops doesn’t make $30k health insurance or $10k home insurance premiums go away. Despite Jeff Childers entire post aimed at my single comment (which still blows my mind) he didn’t address the heart of the matter, that Trump is gaslighting us. The Chinese in US colleges is a perfect example. They may be a necessary evil (though I don’t concede that), but that’s not the issue. The issue was that Trump declared saving the universities as the MAGA agenda, period, end of discussion. That is patently false, it’s not. I doubt there’s a single person who voted for Trump to “save the universities”. It’s completely false and insulting to claim it’s true.

I concede that “saving the universities” may be required, but then tell us that and explain why. Don’t just tell us to shut up and take it. Don’t tell us it’s MAGA, that he alone gets to define MAGA, and we are to do what we’re told. That is the problem. And despite Jeff Childers long convoluted explanation of Epstein supposedly being a red herring, pretty much everyone here knows deep down that’s not true. Jeff’s write-up was a court room argument meant to persuade a gullible jury that ignored inexplicable facts. He’s good at it, I concede. And I’m sure Trump has a good reason for wanting Epstein to go away. It seems pretty obvious it implicates powerful people and maybe it is better left alone. But saying “case closed, nothing to see here” is obviously not true. It insults the intelligence of his supporters.

Trump intentionally creates confusion and sows chaos to give himself leverage, he is the master of it. He does it very effectively and it’s an incredible tool to use on other countries, multinational corporations, and his political adversaries. But he needs to stop using it on his supporters because it leaves them confused and demoralized. He needs to learn this. Low propensity Trump voters did not turn out at the last election, that is a hard fact. They feel ignored, some may even may feel betrayed. If that happens again in 2026, the Trump agenda is over. We will have two years of never ending subpoenas, tribunals, and impeachments.

The most important thing in my life is that my kids (and future grandkids) are happy, successful, and prosperous. Nothing else in life even comes close as far as priorities. I’m structuring all my affairs to help ensure sure that happens. This is why I’m so passionate about the MAGA agenda succeeding. I want the same America we had for my grandkids. I’m not a bad faith troll, or a shill for the Left. I honestly view Trump as the last hope to save America. Which is why I’m concerned he’s letting it slip away and trying to bully his way forward. Bullying is great when it comes to the Left, but it is counterproductive when aimed at his supporters.

One last thought, when I got home after ten hours of work and saw nearly 500 comments of people throwing crap at each other all day, my first thought was, “good grief, don’t these people have jobs?” Then I realized they don’t. It was a bunch of people who really don’t have anything better to do than argue with people on the internet all day. Retirees, unemployed, or otherwise unoccupied beings. It’s not healthy, “touch grass” as the kids say. Seriously, you deserve more than this. Being an angry old man (or woman) screaming at other people is not why God put you here. Volunteer, work part time, or just take up gardening, it will make you happier. Don’t spend your final decades being miserable. I watched my dad do it to himself and don’t wish that on anyone.

Edit: Adding something that I apparently didn't make clear enough. Jeff Childers is entirely within his right to critique my comment or anything else I say on here. It's a public forum and I post anonymously for a reason. He doesn't need my permission, or anything else from me. In fact, he went out of his way in being respectful in his response and complimented me multiple times. I stated this yesterday immediately after reading his post.

My comments about his response being unprecedented was not a condemnation but to make clear the situation was really unique. To my knowledge, he has never done this since I started reading and commenting back in 2020 (or maybe 2021, it's been a long time). The fact that he felt it was warranted I believe strengthens my case. I suspect he's concerned too about the state of MAGA, but that's just my thought. I can't read his mind and don't claim to.

To you people thinking I'm attacking him, you need to have your reading comprehension checked. Either that, or you didn't even bother reading what I wrote and just reacted emotionally to what you ASSUMED I said. It's probably the latter, it's depressing.

Anyways I'm done explaining myself to hysterical people. If you want to bumble through life getting mad at every perceived insult then that's on you. But it's no way to live.

Kathleen that is a very simple take and why people that aren't boomers get annoyed. The dollar had far far more purchasing power back then. People are working 2-3 jobs and can't buy a home. How much harder could someone actually work?

I remember talking to a gentleman in his 80s about 5 years ago. He told me a story about how his first job was slinging sacks of potatoes onto trucks. He got paid the minimum wage. He not only rented a home, but could afford to buy a brand new car. That simply doesn't exist anymore.

He said one thing you can do is insert something like tiananmen square into your commentary. Because when that cycles back to China it automatically gets tossed out. He claims the entire article will be deleted. So it's fighting fire with fire. And I'm remembering it very vaguely, so I could be wrong. But you get the drift. Attack them where they live. I also somewhere in my files have the whole thing in Chinese script. So you can insert that into your comment and into any article you write, and that also gets it booted off the internet in china. I know it's sometimes easier said than done but try to look at current events the way you want a doctor to look at your medical situations; analytically. Remove emotion and consider facts as they are, not what we are told they are. That requires having multiple info sources with different perspectives, then form your own conclusions.

My sister is more or less conservative. She locks onto influencers, she wouldn't acknowledge that fact, and they are her little gurus who she parrots. Once one is exposed for a fraud she will drop them, not learn from her experience, and she finds someone else to fill that void. All of that frustrates her but she keeps doing the same thing every day.

Yesterday she invited me to go with her to a lecture on the history of Hamas. I asked who was giving it and she said it is a local synagog. What's the point of that? I already know Israel's official narrative, which is all that lecture would be, there won't be a counter lecture to challenge.

My sister is now mad at me; hahaha. C'est la vie Sis! 🔔

"Americans are too dumb, so we need 600K Chinese" (how about building up Americans first?) Asian Americans vote 90% Democrat. Why bring in more?

"HBCU colleges need the money from the Chinese students." Huh? HBCUs are vociferously anti-White and anti-Trump. Why pump them up?

"Illegals are needed to staff hotels, meat plants, agriculture, and construction, or the employers will suffer" ... how is that MAGA?

"50 year mortgages" ... deporting 10M illegals will bring down prices. How about ramping that up instead?

Trump is being given the Biden treatment where top staff shuffle him into global foreign policy meetings and isolate him from domestic issues. Seems to be the problem.

I am all about the long game and perseverance, not quick and easy results (which usually don’t last anyway). Should we remind Trump of our priorities? Of course! Thank you!!! I am increasingly disheartened that if we are critical of what Trump is doing (because let’s face it…lately he is doing and saying things that are uncharacteristic of him….universities need saving by the Chinese, Americans don’t have the talent to build things so we need foreign smarter people, 50 year mortgages to further enslave this generation (figure the interest on that alone), Epstein is a hoax….among other things.) Exact opposites of what he campaigned on!! We can only guess at his reasons.

This is a slap to our faces. I did not vote for this and I should have the right to say it. It doesn’t mean I want to throw the baby out with the bath water. How else will Trump hear from his supporters if we aren’t yelling it. It’s hard to get his attention it seems.

I mentioned yesterday…we spent years and years being silenced from the left - it doesn’t feel good when our own side says to shut up and go along with the narrative.

I appreciated Jeff responding to your post….the fact he will on occasion interact here is great. I love his explanations, but they don’t make him right 100% of the time. However, his optimism and explanations have probably kept most of us above water for five years. His critical thinking skills are amazing, but none of us really knows the actual truth. We see what Trump wants us to see. That’s it. True for all of them.

Another reason to question everything. We’ve been lied to for so long. Why can’t we question anything now.

And, I do see how people being critical of Trump seems to fuel the fire for the other side to sow discord so we need to be careful too. Any crack in the foundation, they will destroy the house. I’m just not sure how to handle watching Trump SEEM to go sideways. I think we are all a bit shocked. And Trump 1.0 he had bad people around him. I’m hearing there’s more bad people torpedoing RFK and HHS and who knows who has his ears regarding some of this other stuff.

So tell me, how does his base speak up - without damaging the house OR stay silent and let the train go off the rails. We didn’t speak up for generations and look where that got us. Silence isn’t the answer either. There has to be a balance. Just not sure where it is.

The true solution is the future as you stated, and as a millennial, i watch politics, but don’t need anyone in government to save me. They won’t. That’s a lesson that I think millennials and GenZ may have learned.

Trump came around and presented what may have been change — just as Obama presented “Hope” — but the dollar keeps dwindling and futures look bleak.

Thanks for the courage to share your piece. For one, I echo and hope others see it as well.

Jeff C, in the America most of us grew up in, we could have the debate you describe. And maybe we still can? But I worry that anything we put on the table, our misgivings about Trump's approach to various challenges, will be used by the other side to destroy what Trump is trying to do.

The time for soul searching, corrective actions, etc. is after our elections are secured and JD Vance starts his first term as POTUS!

Last, your posts are thoughtful and respectful, so don't dwell on the half of the 500 commenters who were throwing hissy fits...focus on the 250 who weren't! 250!

I think what distinguishes conservatives, and hopefully the MAGA movement, from the Left is the fact that we CAN put things on the table, because we are different from "the other side."

Conflict and criticism is forbidden in every form of cultist ideology, so for those of us who have genuine concerns/critiques, it's astonishing to see the immature, highly emotional response of those who supposedly claim to share the same goals and amount of common sense.

We are not part of a cult; we are rational adults that should be able to formulate our own opinions, and speak to those opinions, without expecting hysteric vitriol in response.

The Left is afraid of "the other side," but I didn't think conservatives were...

The letting in of 600k+ Chinese in US colleges is just baffling to me. Do you realize how hard its gotten to get admitted to a decent college with all of these foreign kids taking up the spots? And all of this to prop up a college industrial complex business model that buries our youth in debt and doesn't prepare them well for careers anyway? Stop letting in so many foreign kids, let the universities sink and maybe they'll come up with a better product that works for our kids anyway. Sheesh.

We need our youth to go to trade schools more than colleges. We don't have people that know how to work with their hands. How do we build all of this proposed manufacturing without skilled workers?

We should stop giving money to private universities. Maybe foreign kids can get the poisonous education and take it home with them.

I absolutely agree that there should be less than 1% international students at any point, but right now our education is more of a poison than way up for youth.

One point is that our state universities receive millions of state tax dollars every year. Yet they often admit foreign students (because they pay full boat) over students from our state. Those local students are discriminated against. The state-supported universities should get the tax money and prioritize in-state students OR the foreign ones but not both.

Thanks Matt, I took it the same way.

My primary thought was that he spent an entire post on a single comment from a commenter. That really was extraordinary as far as I know he has never done that in the five years I've been here.

I found that noteworthy. When coupled with the absolutely insane responses to my comment, I think that tells a larger story of discontent within MAGA. I may be completely wrong in that regard, but the fact that the observation sent some people off the rails is peculiar.

From reading Jeff's post I got the distinct impression he thinks the discontent results purely from media psy ops. I think he's mistaken. That may play a role but it definitely also stems from how PDJT hasn't been totally honest with the base. I'm sure he has his reasons, but it's hurting his popularity. People can sense something is off and they don't like it.

In wars there are setbacks as well as minor victories. Sometimes the best we can do is 2 yards and cloud of dust ("should have gone long!").

The past 10/20 plus years won't be fixed in 4, but a good start will be made. Many are not good nor wanted in foxholes and it's Ok if they want to boo from the sidelines, some are enemy plants and others are idiots.

Priorities are compromises based on what is currently most important and how much that screws up the inevitably fluid strategy.

I wish there was a simpler way to make things better. There are those that want things worse and they have resources and powerful backers.

We kind of have to trust the plan because no else one has a better one.

I love the insight other readers made that maybe this was for a two-fold reason: 1) he really needs the China tariffs to be settled for the benefit of America and if in the short term this is necessary to do that it might be worth it. Nothing says it will remain this way indefinitely , and 2) what if he DID want to expose the China element in our colleges but attacking it head on himself earns him a label of racist and will derail what he really wants to do down the road - so he does this knowing his base will do their thing by objecting loudly and suddenly everyone is much more informed about this issue now, making it possible to tend to the concerns of the people without the blame. Interesting take. Time will tell.

Hi, C&C friends,

I posted yesterday, but there were already >1K comments, so I am posting again this morning. I will be grateful for you prayers for me and our child. My spouse passed away abruptly Wednesday afternoon, November 5. It was here at home - completely and utterly unexpected.

Praise God for the confidence that my spouse still lives, now experiencing the full fullness of life united with Christ. The life that is the destination for all of us who are united with Jesus.

We are surrounded by support from our church and homeschool communities, along with neighbors, friends, and my siblings.

Also, you may note that I avoided the use of the words "died suddenly." No needles or jabs were involved, praise God.

Thanks, my C&C friends.

Prayers for me would be helpful, as I' miss her and am trying to cope with all the worldly stuff that has to be done.

Jeff: I have not read C&C yet, but I want to get this near the top of the comments. I can't remember which state AG or governor I was listening to. Some things really don't have to be that difficult and daunting:

Here's how to replace ACA: (1) immediately eliminate the requirement for people to buy from ACA insurers; (2) step down subsidies paid to insurance companies for one year from current levels to zero at the end of the period; (3) prohibit insurance companies from increasing premium prices during that period, reminding customers what their non-subsidized premium would be that month, every month; (4) remove one-size-fits-all regulations from insurance company plans; (5) allow states to permit and regulate smaller health insurance companies within state borders (competition); (6) use Medicaid to cover outlyer previous conditions; (7) get CMS out of the price-fixing and protocol-requirement interference in medical services and insurance.

I'm sure there are other ways to strip away power and procedure from this medicocracy. But legislators who are genuinely seeking to solve the problem of ACA must take a look at the only real health insurance objections that existed before Pelosi pushed through Obama's seizure of a third of our economy: (1) exclusions for previous conditions, and (2) shame associated with welfare medical insurance. More than 80% of USAmericans were happy with their health insurance before Democrats wrecked it.

When we researched it his rate doubled from $158/mo to $338/mo. I asked why and they said insurance is more expensive in TX because people there drive like Aholes. 🤔 I’m angry that he can’t remain on and under our IL insurance policy. Katie Hobbs nickname is Cartel Katie. I bet there's more illegal activity than the children's home. She likes to hide from the press. She constantly did it during her campaign for governor and refused to debate Kari Lake.

I wonder why California's DOJ offices can't arrest serial criminals Adam Schiff & Nancy Pelosi. Their potential crimes have been unfolding for years.

In honor of the past couple days and our two favorite Jeffs commentaries I have the following comment:

It seems many times when I am disturbed by something I think is not true MAGA of Trump, something unexpectedly good happens. I’m not naive, and I don’t know what consequences will actually be faced by these bad actors, but good start here.

I keep wondering why there’s not been a peep from Trump about this. Our Northern Nevada skies have been crisscrossed with trails lately…almost like a blatent middle finger to the plebes breathing in that aluminum dusted stuff. Why no urgency? Thankful forTucker but he’s getting hammered on all fronts lately to bring down his credibility.

It is my observation that anything having to do with the Depopulation Agenda is not allowed to be touched. This includes the psyops plandemic, the deployment of the bio-weapon death shot and the military chemical spraying to influence weather, degrade crop yields and degrade human health. All of these programs are military operations and their purpose serves the depopulation agenda.

This is a war against the human race yet it is the ONE thing that goes unaddressed. I ask you, is there ANY issue as important as the intentional depopulation of America (and the world)?

Could be considered a MAHA issue too. Maybe RFK Jr will talk about it.

In Arizona, the chemtrails completely stopped with the shutdown. Then I started seeing a few in the west valley starting last Friday. By Monday, they were all over the place again.

One commented a while back, I think he said he was from AZ, that he doesn't see any chemtrails but he does see lots of contrails that "persist". Hello? And he was serious.

It's not that hard to tell the difference - sigh.

Yep, saw plenty of contrails during the shutdown, but chemtrails disappeared for a while.
