Thank you. I tried to frame it as concern for the well-being of employees and the company. To point out other view points. That helped the conversation to not go negative.

You did great! My husband had an exit interview about 6 years ago now. An 80 million dollar company and he was in upper management. Morale was at 0 because of what this company was doing. So in his interview he did that. For everyone else that was staying, and future employees. He wrote out a well thought out list of issues. It was top notch, to try and help. He was met with a shameful display of kindergarten behavior from the OWNER. He left dumbfounded. It took about 6 months for him to decompress. A mass exodus followed. Not one employee (that voiced these issues to my husband previously) had the balls to speak the truth in their exit interview. They all kissed ass. My husband just shook his head. He said by the time they leave they don’t care anymore -they just want out. 😞

Each of us has to take a stand when they can. That's all you can do. Kudos to your husband. πŸ‘πŸ‘

I’ve come to the conclusion that some of us are fighting harder in this war than others. Some are not fighting at all. Some refuse to believe we are at war. And some just don’t care.

20/80...always the case in EVERY endeavor. 20% of the people do 80% of the work.

Same as with US independence from Britain.

40% Patriots wanting independence

20% Loyalists

40% Trimmers.

Only 2% actually picked up arms and fought.

Washington was out numbered 2 to 1 in troops.

MAGAA, MAGA2.0, or SAFA (Save America From Autocracy) is in same position; 2-3% Patriots-fighters who have a clear vision of what's at stake. 45% are with us but do nothing, the Leftists are much more mobilized so i'd say 5-10% will fight til the end like dedicated berserk NAZIs (plus they ALL make $$$$ and hold power since they control the system and are the gatekeepers), the weak LAZY crybabies who think they're better than us all just want everyone to get along (meaning we all go down the shitpipe together) are another 35%, the rest could care less about anything but themselves or even just their next concert, dinner at Applebee's, or porno fix. Lest ye think that my low opinion of Americans is overstated...the Europeans are far worse with their frenzied freakish football and whatever...not much fight in them for they think having an elitist parliament give them orders is far superior to a royal family doing so.

True. But I want to be with the 20%. We are more fun and interesting. πŸ˜‰

The 80/20 rule applies in this struggle, just as it does almost everywhere groups of people work under one roof.

That was the perfect approach. He was far more likely to listen to what you had to say that way, rather than if you had gone on an angry rant, however justifiable.

Yes. There are occasions when more abrasive tactics need to be used but many times it’s better to be β€œsweet” about it.

As a 55 year resident of Las Vegas, I was awed by nature when I first moved here. Close by for family time; Red Rock Canyon and Spring Mountain Ranch, Mt Charleston with fresh snow, the top of Boulder Dam so you can really see why we’re running out of water. As you land, look out the window on final approach to see the lake bottom….and the politicians are approving unlimited growth. I’ve lost my little oasis in the desert.

But the lights are amazing, especially if viewed from a distance at night.

Hi Helen! I'm a 30 yr resident of LV and I use that lake every summer. So sad to see when Boulder Harbor dried up. It's now filling again, but NPS has no plans to re-open.
