I don't understand it, I'm not entirely comfortable with it -- but "my" two were NOT interested in children or in FORCING anyone to call them -- or allow them to participate in -- anything. They just wanted to do their jobs, live their lives, and be left alone. Deal!
(I do mull over, in wonderment and confusion, the ... depth of feeling one had ABOUT choosing (in 'his' late-20s, early 30s?) to 'live as a woman.' The FORCE of that desire, the (self-perceived) NEED to make and live with that change... Whew! I don't understand it. BUT -- I acknowledge the strength of that need, and the willingness to live forever with the negative ramifications caused by it.)
