In many ways I hope Desantis stays in Florida and continues being the amazing, courageous leader of change in one State-inspiring other States to watch and see. You do not have to be the POTUS to be one of the most important and influential leaders in the history of the US. I personally think what he is doing, where he is, will have the biggest impact on the US over time in scope and depth, should other States follow his example. Though it may take longer than we Americans like! The wheels of justice grind exceedingly slow, but they grind exceedingly fine.

I was so impressed with Kristi Noem when I first saw and heard of her when she hosted President Trump at the Mt. Rushmore 4th of July celebration several years ago. But as I’ve followed her over the past few years it seems to me she’s trying too hard to be “cool” and “young looking” in her social media posts; her extensions, her Botox etc. make her look foolish and unprofessional. When you’re in the position of holding the highest office in the state, looking and acting mature, dignified and professional go a long way in establishing credibility. Love the people! Very friendly and helpful, especially when they learn you’ve moved to SD for freedom. The Black Hills are beautiful and the winters on par with the Northeast. Spring comes late but we don’t get much snow.

I've had the same wishful thoughts as everyone else here. But after the last three elections, who here actually believes we will have a fair election in 2024? The real question is, how do we turn defeat into victory? This is the question I'm sure Trump (and DeSantis) has been asking himself since 2020. Let's be honest, the elections are rigged and we will lose in 2024. This is what Nazis and Bolsheviks do. Given that reality, who is better positioned and prepared to take the election fraud issue to the American people than Trump who will have, once again, had an election stolen from him? When that happens, the fight between the American people and the Bolsheviks illegitimately occupying the seats of power is going to go kinetic and the backlash will become unavoidable. Trump is just the man of the hour with the resources to lead that fight.

That being said, we need to understand that the real power in the United States lies at the state level. DeSantis is beginning to demonstrate that to the rest of the liberty states and he is uniquely positioned to lead the rest of the states in attacking the issue of election reform (and Marxism) energizing the other Governors to get out of their comfort zone and engage in the war in support of Trump. The key to turning defeat into victory is to get the rest of the liberty states AND THEIR CITIZENS engaged in this war. If that can be done, the Bolsheviks will not survive the battle for 2028. As with all of life, the key is to forcefully engage the enemy.

Maybe I'm being too optimistic. But from my limited vantage point, this looks to me to be our best chance. Short of that, like Americans leaving the woke states for the liberty states, the states will simply have to leave the union out of self-preservation.

I do worry and think since nothing has changed that these evil forces will try to steal the election again. But, we have to be like Jesus and Ghandi and use our words, minds and prayer to defeat this enemy. The word “forcefully” could be interpreted to take up arms and fight and we don’t want this and it never works out. We can resist through our legal system, word of mouth, protests, school boards, local elections and by having more and more people wake up. The vaccine injured are made up of a lot of liberals. They have had to face the music. Also their daughters are having to compete with boys; they don’t like this. Their daughters are being accosted by men in their bathrooms and they don’t like this. Their white sons are being told they can’t go to medical school or get into elite college because of what of their race and “privilege” and the liberal parents don’t like this. Their sidewalks and parks in their blue cities and states are covered in human feces and needles and crime is rampant and they don’t like this. So they are waking up because it’s being thrown right in their face.

Expand full comment
Politico Phil's avatar

2018, 2020, 2022, Arizona, Brazil etc etc. There is no "will try to steal". They control the elections and whoever runs in 24 will lose to the Bolsheviks. Instead of wishful thinking, we have to think more strategically. And yes, God will empower our efforts.

Look into if your state will be voting on joining the Convention of States. Push your state congress critters to vote yes for the Convention of States. It has been convened on a handful of items. Expand full comment
Politico Phil's avatar

I'm not familiar with the process of a CC but I am reminded that the Federal Convention of 1787 was called to revise the Articles of Confederation: that was the charter the delegates had from their states and their only authority. Patrick Henry, a leading patriot of his day, was invited to attend the Convention and declined saying, "I smell a rat in Philadelphia". And he was right. After the convening, the Convention was closed to the public and all the attendees took self-maledictory oaths of secrecy (a decidedly unChristian action). At that point, the Convention morphed into a coup that overthrew the Articles. After that a public debate ensued that is documented in The Federalist Papers and The Anti-Federalist Papers. The new constitution obviously contained too much opportunity for a centralized tyrannical government. Finally a compromise was reached though the addition of the Bill of Rights and the new constitution became the law of the land. In hindsight, the fact that the constitution needed a bill of rights should have informed everyone that the new structure would eventually be abused by power hungry sociopaths. Today, the Bill of Rights is just ignored by our Bolshevik rulers.

The discoveries found in Agenda 21 in 2011, for instance, hit a lot of folks like a ton of bricks, with everything a political propaganda smoke screen for population contraction. To wit, the real meaning of Sustainable Everything, the true unstated goal of all UN sponsored Sustainability initiatives is Less Human Beings on the planet. This is Epic Extermination on a Great Flood scale. And see! What normal person could ever imagine than any Regular Cretin Dude could possibly be up to this kind of monstrous thing. Jeff, there’s two things that happen every morning that make me wanna get up: 1. My coffee brewer kicks out a cup of coffee, and 2. My Substack kicks out a new C&C article.

I’m always a little sad when I reach the end of the article and the end of my coffee. But it’s easy to brew another coffee, and I do that frequently, but I don’t have a machine that’ll brew me another C&C article, so I have to wait til the next morning... :)

Thanks so much for all the time and effort you put into C&C. I used to be a free subscriber, but then one day I thought, “If he does so much work, the least I can to is help to ‘multiply’ him in my little way.”

Here is a little Black history I hope can get back into our Universities...

"The current statist ideal is to falsely try and portray the U.S. as founded immorally and built on profits of slavery. (As a small example see recent NY times article that conveyed exactly that, and the many efforts to tear down all the founding Fathers as immoral slave owners.) This is false political extremism and revisionist history, prevalent in academia today. It is also not new, as this great black patriot said in 1863...

“Let me tell you something. Do you know that you have been deceived and cheated? You have been told that this government was intended from the beginning for white men, and for white men exclusively; that the men who formed the Union and framed the Constitution designed the permanent exclusion of the colored people from the benefits of those institutions. Davis, Taney and Yancey, traitors at the south, have propagated this statement, while their copperhead echoes at the north have repeated the same. There never was a bolder or more wicked perversion of the truth of history. So far from this purpose was the mind and heart of your fathers, that they desired and expected the abolition of slavery. They framed the Constitution plainly with a view to the speedy downfall of slavery. They carefully excluded from the Constitution any and every word which could lead to the belief that they meant it for persons of only one complexion. The Constitution, in its language and in its spirit, welcomes the black man to all the rights which it was intended to guarantee to any class of the American people. Its preamble tells us for whom and for what it was made.” Frederick Douglass (June 1863)

Learned helplessness. Bingo

From the post with the Fredrick Douglas quote…

“This understanding of true and universal happiness engendering actions and psychology, is no small matter, and is so deeply missing in modern social science that failure is inevitable and all systems are doomed. Instead of wisdom, we have flawed people utterly lacking introspection, expensively taught to perceive themselves as elite, and teaching others to perceive themselves as victims. These elite seek forced divisive based restitution rooted in confrontation with those innocent, yet presumed guilty, often simply because of their color. And, in submission to their own demonstrated to be misery generating unwise personal desires, they often also spread their misery to all social structures, demanding to control every aspect of society and culture. The "March through the Institutions" is real.”

Slave owining "White Men" had children from Slave "Black Women", Lust, perhaps Love or certainly Fondness, and perhaps Mutual Affections. Regardless, over 150 Years Mixed Race Children were born, bred, and became adults and repeated the cycle of inter-racial associations. Some Selected Slaves became More White than Black, "Octaroons" & "Quadroons" and became "House Servants", rather than "Field Hands". The House Servants were Actually Family Members afterall.

Transpose to Today; "Why" are People who are over 1/2 White, even 3/4+White still identified as Black??? Self Identifying doesn't explain away the overwhelming Black Identifying, It is Historical from the Plantation System still Alive and perpetuated mainly by Blacks. I have one more I need to get through the college process and we are basically down to about 5 or 6 schools to which we are willing to send him. He tends to be a more liberal arts kind of kid (loves music, writing and Latin - go figure!) so we are looking at Hillsdale (two other kids attended there), and some other small, classical education schools. Honestly, if he were to develop an interest in a trade of some sort, I'd be fine with him pursuing that too. Lately he says he just wants to live in the middle of nowhere and be left alone and says most of his peers' problems could be fixed by just "touching grass." Covid has really messed this generation up - the degree to which I think we've only begun to realize.

Expand full comment
Freebird's avatar

From what little I know about it, Hillsdale sounds like a wonderful college. I receive their publication, “Imprimis” and it’s always good. I agree with you that the trades are underrated. MIke Rowe is spot on about that. The difficulty is that it’s almost impossible for an 18 year old to know what they want to do with their life and then make a commitment to that with 4 years of college…an expensive commitment. Your son sounds a little like my grandson- he writes poetry and music. He earned a master’s degree from Princeton Theological, which he assured us was not really associated with Princeton University. It was still a far cry from his conservative background. But he’s married, just turned 30, and makes a living by writing. Good parenting makes all the difference and your son will ‘land on his feet’ wherever he goes. 😊
