🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. I have a nice 5 gallon bucket with molded toilet seat topper we used when our tiny camper didn’t have a bathroom and the Wyoming “long drops” were too far away. I never used it again outside because one morning there were bear tracks going around the camper.
Good times!! We had a slop jar we put in the closet of our over the slide-in camper- first trip 1968 to Yellowstone from Alabama!! And yes we played a trick on Mama when we stopped for her to fix us lunch next to a creek and the park ranger showed us the grizzly tracks. Luckily the next year we had a 30ft gooseneck, full bathroom, slept 6. We were in high cotton, although Daddy was a soybean farmer.
My daddy was a corn and oats farmer. With pigs. Hubby and I started camping way too late. We got a 20 footer with bathroom and nice shower, queen size bed in 22. We had to climb into our 12 footer and I fell later that summer requiring a hip replacement. We have gone a month in Wyoming off the grid the last 2 years Love Wyoming.
A friend of mine who I hadn’t seen in years came to stay the night at my home (in 2022) and walked up my front walk wearing a mask. I met her outside and asked if she intended to wear it the whole time. Thankfully, she took it off and we were able to enjoy our visit.
I don’t really know her politics. She’s been living abroad for many years, and I only see her every few years. We usually only have time to cover family and jobs when we’re together. That last visit was more confessional than usual.
Try to sleep with a mask on all night on an Amtrak coach seat from Haver Montana to Chicago. 2022. The car gestapo patrolled throughout the night. I arranged my light blanket and my body in the double seats while bunching up the blanket over my upper body and head, allowing the mask to be pulled down, and breathe freely against the seat back and not be seen. To have to do that in a supposed “free country” just to breathe, punctures any semblance of humanity into a million pieces. Then subjected to crappy soggy hamburgers pulled out of a microwave in a plastic microwave bag. Only those who had sleeper cabins could eat in the dining car. 🤔😾🤣. Naturally, they could stand in line masked, but pull them off eating.
We did that at a friend’s country home but didn’t have to mask. We were forbidden to use their toilets, however, and BYOB.
Bring your own bucket??
@Bwck- HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! Well done.

Sadly no. She told me later that she guiltily took pleasure in hearing when unvaccinated people died of Covid because they “got what they deserved.”
With a friend like that who needs enemies.
I know. I didn’t unfriend anyone during that time, but I did take notes. There are people who I now know I can’t fully trust.
I am. But she stated it so confidently—like there was no question in her mind that I would (of course) be vaccinated.
I still have problems with people shedding! It’s so isolating.
Anja, I will take the medical freedom hippies 1000 times over the lefties.

I'm amazed when I see that otherwise sane people agreed to participate in that nonsense Janet.
