Corporate media saw a bromance. I saw Baron Trump, Tesla's missing trunks, and a $6 billion science blitz that needed no Congress. Welcome to the Golden Age and its unprovable time-traveling theory.
Yes. Trump has discovered what we already knew. We never really needed government to solve problems. We needed the will to do so. The Golden Age is that rediscovery. That government is not the solution to any problem. People investing their time and money into problems solves them. Not government.
Which is the main function of government. Never solve just continue to fund the “solution “. That way their buddies can live off other people their whole worthless life.
More than that: we need to get government out of the way if we are to solve problems. Solving a big problem usually involves solving a series of smaller problems. Sometimes the effort to do it is huge because the first small problem is actually the biggest...and in this thread's context, that first big problem is government. Every. Single. Time.
Where was I was reading recently about an American woman who says she is an "estranged grandmother" who is cut-off from her grandchildren.
Now I understand family estrangement/alienation better than most.....but this woman claimed to be a Republican and demanded that her local political representative introduce legislation to criminalize family cut-offs. Which of course is the wrong approach. You absolutely do NOT get government involved in many of these issues.
I thought Republicans were for smaller government....
science will be used for good and for evil. Always has been. Always will be, at least as long as evil exists in the world.
So, yes, do the science and publish it. Some of it is probably worth holding back, e.g., nuclear weapons information. What if the US had shared everything it learned early in the Manhattan Project? We'd be speaking either Japanese or German in North America!
So, trick is, if you're gonna hold something back, how long do you keep it secret? Everyone will make that judgement differently.
Within the 6,000 + patents forceably restricted -'on the shelf/limbo' for 'Natural security' ' issues' there are many that will benefit 'we the people' and our environments, inner and outer. Some side effects of releasing these innovations
be healthier and happier humanity and reduced corporate margins.
Then why is Trump running up the deficit at record levels if we don't need the gov? A 12% increase over last year, sitting at $2T for the year. TAW, or something.
You don’t have a clear objection there. I posited that government doesn’t solve problems and you just posted a good example of a problem government never solves.
This is why people who have never run a business, don’t understand what Trump is doing. Anyone who has ever started a business, which is what Trump is basically doing now…viewing the USA as a business….understands that initially in order to make money, you have to spend money. Stop viewing the deficit and debt like it’s your credit card.
Trump is running up the deficit to hand over to the financiers, so that they may run up the stock market, and take the proceeds to buy actual real things.
Then the government and the media tout the increased stock market as a sign of actual prosperity, unfortunately not available to the hoi polloi, because they have to fund Social Security for the elderly.
This makes the hoi polloi mad. If only they had taken their money and invested it in Dell or Space X or Amazon, back in the 60s and 70s, they would be as rich now as Musk or Bezos.
Not fair! They wuz robbed! Now they want to cut off pensions altogether, so that the government can put money into children's accounts, controlled by Larry Fink, and they will have pie-in-the-sky when they turn 18.
Because- magic of compound interest (which takes inflation to make possible, but....whatever.)
Why do all governments end up with people in power who exhibit depraved indifference? I’ve heard some atheist say you just have to be kind to people, you don’t have to believe in a God or be a Christian. Well where does the idea of being kind to people come from? Without God why bother? Be self centered and ruthless. Who was it that said “turn the other cheek?”, Mao Zedong? (40-70 million killed; Great Leap “Forward”; cultural revolution; political purges), sound familiar? It seems by removing God from our society we have ended up right where we’re at!
Think about people that rose into positions of power, like Anthony Fauci, (17-20 million killed and counting; deceiving people with medical poisonings for “profit”) the greatest mass murderer, ever, in the history of America. Certainly Fauci is on par with mass murderers like Mao Zedong (40-70 million killed), Hitler (11-17 million killed), Stalin (6-20 million killed) or Pol Pot (1.5-2.2 million killed). Knowingly deceiving, sickening or killing people, right here, in America. Incredible that our society has allowed this, as though we just absorb a legalized mass killing of millions. Is it more acceptable because of the way it was done to us? Or have too many simply accepted that the individual soul doesn’t really matter much anymore? And life goes on. It’s hard to come to the reality that we all have lived through these horrific times.
This cultural revolution here in America has been happening for years, and the people responsible are freely walking among us. No one in power seems able to hold anyone responsible. Similar to what we are told about AI, the system of government protects itself. It seems we don’t realize or see the history happening or being made all around us because it’s so close. Certainly many of us just don’t want to see. History will show fixing these problems are more up to people like us than many think. I wonder what the history books-or rather the AI inputs, will say when we are all gone?
The trouble with "you just have to be kind to people" is that, without a benevolent God, that simply doesn't happen. Without a moral framework derived from something higher than this material life on earth, people see no reason to even attempt to be kind to each other. Historically, you can check out any pagan culture to find out how we treat each other without a loving God.
Agreed Suzabelle! I believe this is a big part of the reason we are having so many problems today. As God and Church has been removed from family and society these problems will become worse and worse. As much as I didn’t appreciate my parents placing the seed of Jesus/God when I was a kid, I am so thankful for what they did today!
It was Mesopotamian ruler Sargon of Akkad (reigned from approximately 2334 to 2279 BC) who introduced the extremely novel idea of treating "the other" without rancour. With actual respect, and even kindness. Elsewhere, tribalism ruled.
Eventually, the Jews of the region adopted this approach. Then later, the new Christians, since this tallied with their own principles.
I have been traveling in time my entire life. It’s always forward, at the rate of 1 year per year, although at my age a year means much less to me than it did when I was 12.

On another subject, is it true that NY is fining unvaccinated Amish children $2,000 a day? Surely this is unconstitutional. The Amish need a good attorney.
@Dave- yes. Hochul is going after the Amish and they're seriously considering leaving. She HAS to go. They're great neighbors and she's driving them out.
I would LOVE to have them in my community. So much so I’d be willing to support tax breaks just to keep them there! Not go after their kids medically. 😡
It's so bad here that several million people here illegally will fight tooth and nail not to be sent home and scores of millions of people from all over the world would flood the country if we let our guard down. If there are so many poor people who can't afford a house or a meal, how come so many who claim that are fat and carry around a thousand dollar phone?
🎯 And now we can't even afford to retire in our own dang country. They want us taxpayers to work until we croak.....to pay for everything they give away for free. It's rather disgusting.
They WILL. Patience grasshopper. Marvel at all the pieces they had to move into place the past two years to provide that and remove what was making it unaffordable. A typical GOP president would have needed two decades at least to do what Trump has done. It’s coming - - -
You will NOT get away with parroting leftist propaganda and black pill arguments here. Not in this community. Good luck with that. You deserve every bit of backlash you may get.
"Parroting leftist propaganda" sounds a whole lot like "Putin stooge" or "science denier" -- just a phrase to shut down discussion you're not prepared to have.
But you're right, the backlash is coming, it will be horrific, but it won't be my fault -- it will be Trump's.
Voters have 2 choices in our real world. Complain all you want sure, but will you actually stay home or vote D because you’re unhappy about Iran? Trump’s reason is a legitimate one re the danger of an Iran with nuclear power. I don’t think for a minute he wanted to choose that route when he knows politically war is a negative. He’s fighting 2 wars while congress & the media put roadblocks in front of him daily. Yesterday’s news regarding Trump admin cracking down on corporations violating H1B visa usage is great news. Microsoft being the biggest abuser cannot continue to fire American workers & replace them with cheaper labor. Basically they can’t hire indentured servants - workers from foreign countries that cannot leave a job in the US once hired on the visa system. Each hire saves the co. almost $50k! Another example of Trump getting good things done for our country.
I swear, you guys seem to think because I'm realistic about the future that I want it to be that way. I almost ALWAYS hope that I'm wrong, but sadly for us I'm not usually wrong.
You really think the GOP is going to hold onto both houses? REALLY? The last time the president's party GAINED seats in midterms was 2002 (they promptly lost 30 in 2006). In 2018, Trump lost 41 seats! The midterms are nearly ALWAYS a bloodbath for the incumbents. I'm open to hearing why THIS TIME IT'S DIFFERENT, but "We're not Democrats" does not drive turnout.
The White House considers anyone that uses the term, “Artificial Intelligence,” as opposed to the highly accepted new and more accurate term, “Super Intelligence,” THE ENEMY! President DONALD J. TRUMP
🤣🤣🤣 SimComm. You’re late to the party. We ALL know how much campaign money they are throwing to influence the betting markets. Just like the polls. My God, it’s almost as if you were a snake in waiting this whole time waiting to strike just before the midterms!
It baffles me why we allow the Government to be the only ones who measure inflation. They have the strongest incentive to cook those books. Just look at the Federal Budget: it's gone up at twice the rate of inflation since 2019. Actually, it's probably not gone up in real terms, constant dollars, if you use real inflation numbers. But if the Government fessed up that inflation was twice as high as they claim, then social security COLA would have to have gone up twice as much, etc., etc.
Is there a better way? Any organization you put in charge of measuring inflation would probably also put their fingers on the scale. I don't have an answer, but my gut tells me that Government is probably the worst choice of all the bad alternatives.
"But if the Government fessed up that inflation was twice as high as they claim, then social security COLA would have to have gone up twice as much, etc., etc."
You nailed it right there. The government cannot admit the real rate of inflation because there are a whole lot of entitlement programs tied to the reported rate of inflation.
So true. I have always maintained that when the pyramid comes crashing down all they have to do is change from green backs to red backs and start rebuilding the pyramid.
Of course, real inflation is much more than 2% a year, which is why we DO notice.
Since we've gone "full fiat," we double the money supply roughly every 11 years. That's 9% actual monetary inflation. The government has all sorts of tricks to turn that into 2% price inflation.
Why is it that some people don’t realize these problems exist because they were set up by the people in charge over decades? Who has been in charge? Who has been in government for decades? Never seems to dawn on them.
Good grief, Franklin. What does this have to do with today’s wonderful column? Stop focusing on all the things that are wrong and look at the progress that has been made!
We had much better schools just 15 years ago. And when my father was a student they studied Latin. He majored in classics at Berkley--studied Greek and Latin. That is what people did when they wanted to be lawyers back then. Now my daughter-in-law from northern California tells me that Berkley has been totally destroyed by DEI--she will never, ever send her kids to my Dad's school. We have to recover a lot of brain power in education to advance to a golden age of anything, we'll have to focus on achievement not equity. In terms of time travel...no. We in the alternative health world know that we are earthlings that can't live without our gut bugs which don't do time travel.
I took three years of Latin in high school, in the 1960s, in a small, rural town with reasonable school taxes. The Latin has served me well. There is absolutely no reason why we cannot create schools that actually teach children, since we already knew how to do that fifty years ago.
Even in the mid 20th century, when I attended K-12, public schools were not exactly beacons of intellectual light.
When I transferred from parochial school to public schools in 7th grade (junior high, in those days) I was exposed to very little new knowledge in the years up to high school graduation, with the exception of geometry, calculus and French (learned algebra in 6th grade).
In fact, I graduated a year early as a junior, partly due to the fact that I had to do very little studying in high school, having learned most of the subjects back in my Catholic elementary school. Not coincidentally, I was bored to tears and couldn't wait to escape school.
And it wasn't because I'm so brilliant, but because learning as taught by Catholic nuns was relentless. Learn or die is how it felt sometimes.
Similar experience here, except the high school (public) I went to after parochial school was a city wide "magnet" school. A tech school. Two tracks for students: trades or college. But everyone took shop classes, four each year for the first two years. I still have ball peen hammers I made in machine shop, stored in a sheet metal tool box I made in sheet metal shop. Then you "majored" in one thing the last two years.
The DEI crowd in Portland destroyed that school more than 20 years ago. Just another worthless public high school now.
I wonder if the new Golden Age would be helped by teaching kids how to make things, how to use tools? Of course, nothing is manufactured anymore that can be repaired so other than DIY projects around the house, I'm not sure those hand tool skills (power tools!) would be useful for much? Of course, to update this: kids should also be taught basic electronics, and software/control/troubleshooting of embedded computers (the little computers that are all over the place, probably 10 of them in every car!)
Catholic nuns were special people. They taught me from grade 1 to grade 8, then that task was taken over by Christian Brothers (FSC). People constantly ask me "How do you KNOW all this stuff?" Here's how:
I wonder if those were the same nuns that made my brother kneel next to his desk with his hands behind his head for four hours just because he said something funny. What a way to treat a ten year old!
That’s interesting. My bros were mid century catholic elementary school students and my parents pulled them out because if you didn’t have a nun as your teacher you actually had someone with no education degree. And there were 60 kids in one class. So, I would say, as with all schools, some are better than others and it all comes down to parents paying attention.
We two younger children never attended Catholic school and my parents said the quality was night and day better than the Catholic school of our older brothers. Not fair for me to denigrate all Catholic education and not fair for you to do the same to all public education.
I went to a theoretically EXCELLENT public high school in a middle class all-white town. Every teacher had a degree in education.
The quality of that education simply could not stack up to the Catholic school I attended and it wasn't a lot better when I started college. And the issue wasn't class sizes, since my Catholic school had larger class sizes but better discipline.
Sorry that bothers you but it's an objective truth. And this was long before public schools became the sewage pits they are today.
There are numerous private schools operating with a classical curriculum, though most (if not all) public schools abandoned this approach decades ago. More's the pity.
I'm aware of the existing private schools and just wish they were available to more students. They're the best defense against DEI that could possibly exist, since the sorting of students by their abilities and inclinations occurs naturally. In my high school, there were three courses one could take: Business, Academic, and General. None of the kids who would have failed at Latin were in the least inclined to take the Academic course. If any had done so and failed to get good grades, they would have been moved to either Business or General - but actually, this almost never happened. Since we weren't constantly told the lie that we could "be anything," most kids had a realistic idea of their abilities and interests long before high school.
"public schools abandoned this approach" Specifically, the "Education Administration" PhDs leading our school districts and infesting our school boards abandoned this approach. The Golden Age should include firing every last one of them.
Parents and Citizens need to re-take the school board.
But also know that fixing this situation will take a generation, at least! No easy answers at this point.
I know through family experience that by the mid-1960s the "progressive-virus" was infecting many school boards. I call it the Marxism Bug. Running rampant amongst the Useful Idiots of the day.
You can hook a large portion of a population through their vanities. Which was the star tactic used on the Baby Boom generation. They were DESPERATE to be seen as progressive.
Why don’t these tech leaders start creating new colleges that are not compromised and corrupted? Stop trying to fix those institutions and let’s start building our own. It’s so much faster, and cheaper!
I think we have enough college educated people. We need skilled trades people to build out the 'Golden Age'. We need real people who can build things with their actual hands....
Remember that Trump proposed “American Academy,” a federally funded online university designed to compete directly with traditional four-year colleges. And then more recently “United States Space Academy.”
University used to be about expanding a person's mind, their knowledge of humanity and its history. Learing about philosophy, science, the arts, etc.
Then it became a ticket to a job.
Then it became what a high school diploma used to be.
I'm not sure everyone in college should be in a trade school--there are competencies and interests required for that just like any other vocation! Some people are good at these things and want to do them, but not everyone.
So, yes, 90% of kids in college now don't belong there. Get rid of Federal student loans--that's what bloated the system and drove costs up at twice the rate of inflation.
It seems obvious to me that a huge part of what's needed in replacing our current "higher education" (sneer!) system could be online classes. You don't have to sit in a classroom with other students to learn a thing. Often it's better and more fun, but we need to balance the costs and benefits.
So, who better to figure this out than Trump's tech giants dream team? They could devise a system to sift through all the chaff of online course offerings to find the wheat, the valuable grains. They don't have to develop the courses, 100 million people worldwide are already doing that. The problem is figuring out which courses are providing solid information, teaching it well, etc. Young skulls full of mush need help and guidance in that regard, as do their parents.
Yes and my husband got “journeyman” - then for the last 25 years demonstrated “mastery.” He has no diploma indicating what he has achieved. Our universities did not respect equally admirable achievements in the trades.
And it’s felt in social circles as those with degrees disregard him and show him no respect, looking past him, talking over him, excluding him from their circles of influence - treating him like nothing more than a gardener. (Who I might add also possesses skills far superior to those with degrees)
I’m from the white collar world. I dated several “high achieving” degreed men. My husband is worth 50 of them. Any day of the week.
It's been done before. Texas has (oh, c'mon, brain!! what's that engineering school in Texas?? the one by the guy who invented the portable airstrip and essentially the 'idea' of the Army's construction battalions?? Tongue? Tip? A little help? Has an 'L' in it... oh, you guys are increasingly useless since AI came along! "Carnegie-Mellon"? That's what you came up with? Brilliant...)
AIsez: "You’re thinking of R. G. LeTourneau—Robert Gilmour LeTourneau (1888–1969), the earthmoving-equipment inventor and industrialist who, with his wife Evelyn, founded what became LeTourneau University in Longview, Texas.
One detail needs clarification: the sources identify LeTourneau with the machinery used to build airstrips rapidly, rather than with inventing the portable airstrip surface itself. His company supplied scrapers, bulldozer blades, and other heavy equipment used to construct military roads and runways, including in the Pacific. The Texas State Historical Association credits his company with producing about 70% of the Allies’ earthmoving equipment during World War II."
I'm coming around to the idea that we may really need data centers, in everybody else's backyard...
Fair enough, but an engineer's mind should have a loge for these fellows. (Our up-scale Howard Hodge movie theater in Midland, Texas had a fenced-off 'loge' for "patrons," where I assumed the floor was regularly swept and scrubbed. I confess that is the only loge I ever saw or heard of, but it was a dandy.)
This is so strange. I have just been reading a 13 year old book called, Miracles and Massacres, a complication of stories of moments in American History that were altered in the retelling or forgotten in the passage of time. Yesterday, I just finished reading about Edison, George Westinghouse, and Nickolai Tesla. We have all heard of Edison, and I knew of the Westinghouse Corporation, but did not realize what a huge roll Tesla played in the fate of both men, and DC current, (Edison), and AC current, (originally Tesla who then worked for Edison, who wouldn’t buy it). Tesla went to Westinghouse and the great electricity wars started, fueled by the press, (newspapers of the time), and a race to light the country with electricity. And now Jeff comes out with this!
Thank you Jeff, what a joyful post today. I laughed out loud several times. Grateful for President Trump & for our Lord God, who has smiled on us a little. Praying HE will continue to smile on our nation 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Jeff Childers - you need to add Sci-Fi author to your resumè if you haven’t already… my mind was spinning with scientific intrigue story lines with just the few leads you provided! Very entertaining column today, laced with good cheer and hope for the future!
Jeff! I think you just explained why President Trump can run circles around most 20 year olds! The man must time travel to future medical doctors, get rejuvenated, and come back for his whirlwind schedule 😁

Kinda like pHarma? Never cure a disease, just dose it and make lifelong customers. Gee...sounds just like "government" to me. IMHO
Which is what our Founders wanted, not for government to get in the way.
Exactly. How many times has our government gotten involved only to create a problem..and then the solution????
More than that: we need to get government out of the way if we are to solve problems. Solving a big problem usually involves solving a series of smaller problems. The Will -- also known as personal agency, leading towards Self-differentiation. This attribute is what the welfare state purposely weakens.
@Joe Karlovic, that’s very insightful! 👍 I agree, but couldn’t have put it so succinctly.
Bingo 💯
Seems that "nihilism" more closely resembles absence of negative opportunity 'midst strongly entangled vigilance...
Your absence of a negative opportunity could just be a positive opportunity. You got doubly negative there. The glass is half full.
Or maybe half of the glass is completely full?

I have been traveling in time my entire life. It’s always forward, at the rate of 1 year per year, although at my age a year means much less to me than it did when I was 12.
Yep, my Time Machine is malfunctioning and moving way, way too fast.
I've got a self-powered time machine in my basement: an exercise bicycle. I can go back in time anytime I want to.
Turns out I don't find the past worth the effort. Now if somebody could come over and run it for me? That'd be different. But then I'd be a liberal.
😂
It should have been built with a break to at least slow time down.
Maybe that’s why God regularly throws a wrench in my gears. …Bah dump bump
Gets faster every year. Seems Christmas arrives in 6 months not 12.
Morning friends!! Ready for a wonderful day and a wonderful read with a lovely community ❤️
Yes! Happy sunny Friday all! 🍂🍁🍂

It is indeed such a community.
Got that right.
Morning Juju!

It is unconscionable, what is hitting the Amish here and in PA with a heavy hand. You cannot, literally CANNOT hate Hochul enough.
Fire Hochul!!
@SJ- husband wants one of those signs that says that. I told him I like my house and don't want it vandalized.
The Amish have a good attorney: Aaron Siri. He's been to the Supreme court on this case.
He's the one who took Pfizer to court to get their documents regarding the "trials" of the Covid jab, among other things. He's on Patreon, I believe.
This is why I am a recurring donor to ICAN. Del said on his show yesterday that they currently have 90 (?) legal cases.
https://icandecide.org/support-ican/
@Dave- yes. Hochul is going after the Amish and they're seriously considering leaving. She HAS to go. They're great neighbors and she's driving them out.
I would LOVE to have them in my community. So much so I’d be willing to support tax breaks just to keep them there! Not go after their kids medically. 😡
Look into what Troodo did to the Amish in Canada during COVID-mania. See Rebel News.
https://www.rebelnews.com/help_the_amish
Did you hear that ultra AWFL actress Debra Messing endorsed Bruce Blakeman for NY gov. over Hochul?
The speculators want the Amish off their land, so that they can buy it up for profit making.
That is why the sudden concern for their health.
Mrs. RW
I read about this, this morning. Such evil out of NY state. Surely this isn't legal.
Baron still hanging out with the child trafficker Tate brothers?
Whoa, is this the best C&C ever?
Yes, at least until tomorrow.
Maybe DJT has his namesake's papers, and that's what the FBI was really looking for in the raid. Or the keys to the DeLorean.
I actually know someone who owns a DeLorean. There are only 6,500 left in the world that are drivable.
Interesting thought, John!
I just figured that in the Golden Age people would be able to afford housing and groceries.
They didn't pay for any of that, you did.
🎯 And now we can't even afford to retire in our own dang country. They want us taxpayers to work until we croak.....to pay for everything they give away for free. It's rather disgusting.
Exactly and sooner or later the people who paid for it are going to get fed up and expect a ROF. Return on fraud.
It is golden if you are a billionaire.
Same as the Gilded Age was great for the robber barons. For the rest of us?
Not so much.
Mrs. RW
They WILL. Patience grasshopper. Marvel at all the pieces they had to move into place the past two years to provide that and remove what was making it unaffordable. A typical GOP president would have needed two decades at least to do what Trump has done. It’s coming - - -
And all of it undone by a stupid war of choice. You think voters are going to be patient in November?
Omg SimCom, it wasn’t a “stupid war of choice”! That’s the leftist boogeyman terms.
That war IS making it possible. You just can’t see it from your playpen. There’s a bigger plan and you’re ignoring it.
Plus they were a serious threat, and common sense dictates I don’t get into a childish debate about that with you. History proves my points already.
LOL whatever you say
You will NOT get away with parroting leftist propaganda and black pill arguments here. Not in this community. Good luck with that. You deserve every bit of backlash you may get.
"Parroting leftist propaganda" sounds a whole lot like "Putin stooge" or "science denier" -- just a phrase to shut down discussion you're not prepared to have.
But you're right, the backlash is coming, it will be horrific, but it won't be my fault -- it will be Trump's.
the wars are all info wars, brah. don't be afraid. "Luke... I am your Boomer"
Correction: people WILL be able to afford housing and groceries. The best is yet to come
We're like 4 weeks from Democrats taking at least one of the branches. Nothing good will come of that.
No I won't, but I don't decide the election.
Midterms are won by enthusiasm, always have been.
I swear, you guys seem to think because I'm realistic about the future that I want it to be that way. I almost ALWAYS hope that I'm wrong, but sadly for us I'm not usually wrong.
But we don’t think you’re being realistic about the future. That is the whole crux of this argument.
I guess we'll find out soon enough.
Meanwhile....

The White House considers anyone that uses the term, “Artificial Intelligence,” as opposed to the highly accepted new and more accurate term, “Super Intelligence,” THE ENEMY! President DONALD J. TRUMP
I’m praying that isn’t so.
It won’t be. And it will be glorious to throw all these comments back in their faces, and show everyone how untrustworthy they actually are.
If you're so confident about that, they're selling dollars for 10 cents right now.
https://kalshi.com/markets/controlh/house-winner/controlh-2026
🤣🤣🤣 SimComm. You’re late to the party. We ALL know how much campaign money they are throwing to influence the betting markets. Just like the polls. My God, it’s almost as if you were a snake in waiting this whole time waiting to strike just before the midterms!
100% ! Everyone’s forgot about the squeezes on millions of Americans.
This isn’t inflation, this is robbery: https://unorthodoxy.substack.com/p/this-is-not-inflation-this-is-robbery
Inflation IS robbery, though. Only they try to do it slow enough that you don't notice.
Trump just admitted to it.
“ Trump just soft-launched higher inflation as the new solution for rebalancing the $40 trillion U.S. national debt”
https://fortune.com/2026/10/02/trump-inflation-growth-national-debt-tariffs-ratio-balance/
Yep. I'm writing about this today if I can kick this stupid cold.
The debt was NEVER going to be paid down, it was ALWAYS going to be inflated away.
Plan accordingly.
You might feel better if you stop thinking about all the things that are wrong, and give thanks for the good news in today’s column.
On a complete side, have you heard/looked into the tate brother stuff that came out this week?
I avoid Tate brother shit like it's the Kardashians.
You might call the Kardashian approach: Histrionic Personality Disorder.
Yes 2% a year isn’t much so no one will notice. And short of a depression like 1929 it will never reset.
So true. I have always maintained that when the pyramid comes crashing down all they have to do is change from green backs to red backs and start rebuilding the pyramid.
And they want to do it NOW, while they control the system (and thus the new one as well).
Of course, real inflation is much more than 2% a year, which is why we DO notice.
Since we've gone "full fiat," we double the money supply roughly every 11 years. That's 9% actual monetary inflation. The government has all sorts of tricks to turn that into 2% price inflation.
yup. COVID inflation? 30-50%. my what short memories we have!
Exactly.
100% theft. Money printing theft.
Oh $5000 for everybody ($5 billion for them), so everything else saved prior becomes acceleratingly worthless.
Patrick Wood, ‘Crucible of Tokenization’— READ IT! Trickery is massively underway.
LW has apparently forgotten that the demomiKKKRATS have been stealing us blind for years, as they padded their bed.
The comment section clearly illustrates how utterly out of touch people here are from reality. Just wow.
People should go walk around walmart and see how golden it feels.
Evil grandma alert!
Maybe the Somalis in Minnesota but they’ll be deported so there’s that
I dunno, I think Minnesota would leave the union before deporting the illegals.
I second the motion...
I like to say, "Hand-educated by Catholic nuns."
People constantly ask me "How do you KNOW all this stuff?" Here's how:
https://dispatchesfromheck.blogspot.com/2024/08/education.html
I wonder if those were the same nuns that made my brother kneel next to his desk with his hands behind his head for four hours just because he said something funny. What a way to treat a ten year old!
Horrid! Why do I have the feeling that I'm only getting one side of this story? ;-)
Idk - how bad could a ten year old have been ?
Should have been required in every school for every student. But to pass it fall but for what they could learn from it.
What's wrong with government indoctrination? Many thousands of 21 century idiots.
Why don’t these tech leaders start creating new colleges that are not compromised and corrupted? Stop trying to fix those institutions and let’s start building our own. It’s so much faster, and cheaper!
Markets work. Give them competition.
I think we have enough college educated people. We need skilled trades people to build out the 'Golden Age'. We need real people who can build things with their actual hands....
Yes and there’s no reason the new colleges can’t offer that service!
Yes! Like high-quality, durable furniture!
And why can’t tradesman have diplomas? That diploma would represent competency and skill far beyond what they do today for the gender studies idiots
Apprentice > journeyman > master are the "degrees" in a trade.
“LeTourneau” 🤣🤣 c’mon, we have valid excuses for not retrieving THAT from the tip of your tongue! 🤣🤣
Thanks for the example though! 👍
🤣
That’s a great idea!!!!
You can thank Clinton and Obama for common core.
Jeff, no worries about going off the “sanity map”. These days the boundaries are growing by the minute.
Have you seen The Current War? It bombed at the box office but we loved it! https://www.imdb.com/title/tt2140507/?_ssoLoop=1&newac=true
Annette, yes that was a good film.
I think Jeff's ability to "connect dots" as he says would make him a terrific fiction writer!
