Towards the end I had to go through his records for info to try to get him into a study. When I went through the records, at every visit my husband told the nurse that he was going to beat the cancer. And every visit had a notation by the nurse that he was counseled that he was not going to beat this and that this was fatal. My husband believed in positivity, mind over matter. It’s sad that every time he went for medical treatment he was told that he was going to die from the cancer.
