Come and hear the voice of God,
Creator, redeemer, friend
Come and hear Him make a way
For new life to begin.
Come and hear the angels sing
The announcement from on high
Come and hear the joyful news
Redemption has drawn nigh.
Come and hear the newborn babe
Heaven’s hope He brings
Come and hear salvation’s song
In the voice of the infant king.
Come and hear His words of life
That fill and heal and save
Come and hear them echo from
The gloriously empty grave.
Come and hear the Savior call
From manger and cross and throne
