My stomach could not tolerate ibuprofen very well. Aspirin worked well for me, in spite of all the dire warnings on the bottle.

Hmmm, let’s see….

Ibuprofen:

Active ingredient: 200 mg Ibuprofen (NSAID]

Inactive Ingredients:

Acetylated monoglycerides, colloidal silicon dioxide, corn starch, croscarmellose sodium, methylparaben, microcrystalline cellulose, pharmaceutical glaze, pharmaceutical ink, povidone, pregelatinized starch, propylparaben, sodium benzoate, sodium lauryl sulfate, stearic acid, sucrose, synthetic iron oxide, titanium dioxide, white wax

GeriCare aspirin:

Active ingredient: 325 mg aspirin

Inactive ingredient:

Corn starch.

I think my toothpaste has many of the same things. I'm doomed.

Ibuprofen has side effects. I only use an occasional one or two aspirin when needed. That's the only drug I use.

I agree--moved to rare use (thank you, Lord) of aspirin because: it's been around since 1899.

Almost 74, and since end Dec, have been dialing down the thyroid which I've been prescribed for 30 years. Taking 10% less every two months-- so I'm now at 70%. This is my own experiment, on my very own body. Oddly, I have energy that I lost about 30 years ago (fancy that!), --cannot believe the amount of heavy garden work I have been getting done---there's little to no hair in shower drain--and since my last haircut was in April '23, there's a lot more hair on my head, so a normal hairwash hair loss should show lots more in the drain. Building muscle, losing fat. More than once a blood-test has been wrong for me, and I had to experiment for myself.

Try & stay away from synthetic supplements. There is a good brand from Touchstone essentials “Supergreens+D” easy to swallow capsules.
