I've been following RFK Jr. for more than a year, and he has been presenting himself as a center-moderate liberal. Because of that, he would likely end up taking votes from moderate conservatives and classical liberals - who are part of Trumps voting bloc, but not part of his MAGA base. I am one of those classic liberals (I often call myself a JFK democrat, which now make me a rabid, extreme right winger). With this VP pick, my guess is that almost all of those moderate conservatives and classic liberals will stick with Trump.
There were a lot of hard left democrats (which is most of them now) who would not have voted for RFK Jr. I think many of them now will.
