That's a great point. For those same reasons, I hope Trump picks Tulsi. The constituency he polls worst with is white collar professional, high education, women. She might help peel off a few of those.
I was out walking and had a thought: it sure looks like somebody or some group within our system is deep stating the deep state. I mean, this is exactly what the deep state has done for 80 yrs or whatever. Triangulate out any real alternatives. Set it up so that no matter who wins the election, they always get their guy. W/Gore, W/Kerry, Obama/McCain, Obama/Romney, Hillary/Jeb. None of these were/would have been genuine choices b/w differing candidates. Same policies, different clothes and style. Trump threw a wrench in it b/c they didn't expect him to win by the margins he did.
But, it sure looks like someone is setting it up so that we now have 2 anti-establishment candidates triangulating out the establishment candidate. IDK, maybe I'm looking too hard at this. Maybe I'm nuts. But it seems like Trump and RFK just keep finding monetary and "official" "respectable people" support despite all the attempts to marginalize and remove them from the race. I don't think I've seen that happen before.
Maybe he thinks she will get him votes from -young people,
-women,
-Asians,
-moms of autisms.
