Call me weak-minded, but I really think that decision about using the old 2022 map is a head scratcher. I just don’t understand how they had a primary based on the 2025 map and now want to revert to the 2022 map. It basically disenfranchises over 400k voters. It’s all so odd.
I love Jeff’s take. I often in my own life plan for the worst possible scenario. In doing that I discover for many things I don’t have reason to panic or live in angst after all. And if that worse scenario comes I was over prepared for it and it doesn’t crush me.

If I were sick and went to the hospital. The doctor saw me and prescribed a drug that he knew may harm me, but he would be paid. He knew the chances are that I would end up on a machine that forces breath into my lungs, but inevitably I would die, the doctor had pushed God aside. I could have been the best God fearing person in the world but bad things happened to me.
Why do bad things happen to good people? Could it be someone has pushed God aside, and because God gave them free will God had stepped back. Real love is also found with free will. This is the daily battle. When people choose to push God aside evil enters this world.
A judges decision, MRNA injections, glyphosate, remdesivir, pedophilia, solar geoengineering (chem trails), childhood vaccine schedules, plastics in our water, smoking. Others choices can affect us. Maybe bad things happen to good people because someone has pushed God aside.

Apparently the Dems have no concern about the number of American citizens who are disenfranchised when ineligible voters vote in our elections. My understanding is that it doesn’t automatically remove people from the voter rolls; they first get a card in the mail stating they need to provide proof of citizenship or they will be removed from the voter rolls. How hard is it to provide proof of citizenship, especially if you are a newly naturalized citizen?
The good news is when you come here illegally or overstay your visa, you’re often from a country with limited freedoms and overreaching government forces. A notice in the mail from the « government » may engender a fear of voting if you are a noncitizen. Good.

Are election inspectors poll-site officials in your state, like presiding judges or clerks? In Texas, those officials are bound by state law as interpreted by the Secretary of State. In the 13 states that don't require voter ID, I'd guess the SoS would not allow a volunteer to access the SAVE database.
But you raise an excellent issue. We should ask our county election admins (and party chairs?) if our voter rolls are compared to the SAVE database. Whether they are or aren't, people who work for us need to know we are looking over their shoulders.
