Words Beyond Me-Janice Powell's avatar

✝️✝️✝️

When the sixth hour came, darkness fell over the whole land until the ninth hour. At the ninth hour Jesus cried out with a loud voice, “Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani?” which is translated, “My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?” When some of the bystanders heard it, they began saying, “Behold, He is calling for Elijah.” Someone ran and filled a sponge with sour wine, put it on a reed, and gave Him a drink, saying, “Let us see whether Elijah will come to take Him down.” And Jesus uttered a loud cry, and breathed His last. And the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom. When the centurion, who was standing right in front of Him, saw the way He breathed His last, he said, “Truly this man was the Son of God!”

— Mark 15:33-39 NAS95

✝️✝️✝️

He could have summoned legions of angels. He could have destroyed His captors. He could have said no to taking our sin upon Himself. Yet He chose mercy. Hallelujah.

I had the privilege of meeting him once while waiting in line for one of his concerts at Calvary Chapel in San Diego and he came out to greet all of us beforehand. After the concert, he requested that there be no applause but that we all just file out in a prayerful manner, focused on the Lord. God surely used the man for His glory.

I saw a movie yesterday called "A Great Awakening" that was A-MAZING, for the message of faith in Jesus Chris, as well as the intersection with America's constitutional convention of 1789. Here's my movie review about it. (it wasn't even on the marquis at the theater!! It opens officially today.

"A Great Awakening" is a reference to a revivalist period that existed just prior to the founding of America. George Whitefield (pronounced "Whitfield") is the most famous of the preachers of this revivalist movement, and the film interweaves the life of this powerful and charismatic preacher with that of Benjamin Franklin, one of the most recognizable and well known founders of this country.

This film is beautifully made and follows the lives of both men, showing their backgrounds as children, which went on to shape their lives - both fighting against being preachers, with one becoming the most famous of the revivalist era, and the other instead becoming a man who writes the words, not preaching the word.

Benjamin Franklin was well known throughout America as well as in Europe for his discovery of electricity, but he was also a pragmatist and sought to highlight the common man, taking great pleasure at tweaking the noses of "the elitists" at the time in his newspaper through pseudonyms such as "Obadiah Plainman", "Tom Trueman", "Sirus Dogood" and more. As George arrives on America's shores, he lands in Philadelphia - the largest city in America at that time, intent on spreading the words and gospel of Jesus Christ. Ben, seeing an opportunity for greater wealth by printing Whitefield's sermons, quickly agrees to publish them (45 of his weekly "Pennsylvania Gazette" issues had stories of Whitefield, with 8 of them having the front page covered with Whitefield's sermons).

The developing fascination by Benjamin Franklin of Whitefield is humorously written in his autobiography as such: "I happened soon after to attend one of his sermons, in the course of which I perceived he intended to finish with a collection, and I silently resolved he should get nothing from me. I had in my pocket a handful of copper money, three or four silver dollars, and five pistoles in gold. As he proceeded I began to soften, and concluded to give the coppers. Another stroke of his oratory made me ashamed of that, and determined me to give the silver; and he finished so admirably, that I emptied my pocket wholly into the collector's dish, gold and all."

The film interweaves their life stories in a beautiful fashion, maintaining the tension between them, of Whitefield's effort to convert Ben, and Ben reverting to facts, not faith, for his source of truth.

The film begins and ends with the conflict of competing political interests of the Continental Congress, where we are introduced to raucous debate, and led by General George Washington, who sits upon a chair emblazoned with a sun, symbolically and literally used in the film as a metaphor for a rising or falling nation, and for which Benjamin Franklin had famous quotes about. George Washington has important parts in this film which are powerfully delivered, and reflecting the perilous position of a founding nation embarking on a new experiment in self governance, while powerful nations seek to take advantage of the fledgling nation's inner conflicts.

The influence of George Whitefield upon Ben is portrayed beautifully in Ben Franklin's famous speech about the need to call upon a provident creator to guide the assembly towards a resolution. For the sake of time, some of the context following that speech is preserved, but infers upon what is to follow - a period of days in which the men worship together before reconvening and ultimately ratifying a new Constitution of the United States.

I admit that I found tears flowing from my eyes during the sermons by George Whitefield, with his oratory skills being demonstrated and carried by a spirit, as well as when Benjamin Franklin pleaded for assistance from above for the establishment of this nation. The symbolic drawing aside of the curtains to reveal the light which was being sought prefaced Ben's speech beautifully.

For those who are familiar with George Washington's miraculous deliveries from harm and his lifelong faith in God, you realize the gravity of George Washington's words to Ben Franklin regarding Valley Forge being what he thought as the worst darkness of the country, as desperate and scantily clothed men fought sought to survive the winter of 1775. But to hear his continued reference to an even darker time being in the Continental Congress, you begin to get a sense of just how perilous both times were in our nation's history. One can't help but see the hand of providence in our nation's founding, and wonder about the current state of this country, it's leaders and state of affairs. Despite what the media portrays, the world sees us as a beacon of light and leading the fight against a global tyranny that seeks to enslave us all. There IS a great awakening, and leaders are being overthrown as destructive policies and stark enforcement of tyrannical laws are stirring the people to action.

It was faith that helped unite our country, and it will take faith to bring our country back from the brink of destruction which we were so close to in recent years.

Indeed, this movie hearkens us to a NEW "Great Awakening", of which WE are a part of.

This is a BEAUTIFUL movie that I encourage everyone to watch, and is a VERY fitting movie to celebrate the 250th anniversary of our nation's founding, and a remembrance of the importance of Jesus Christ for all of us in our lives and in our nation.

I saw that movie at a "pre screening" last Sunday with my bestie, Lenna. I live in Lancaster, PA area and the production, direction and many of the actors hail from that blessed city. I'd love to go back there. A few years back, a local researcher there found that my ancestral family had a farm at the location of the airport and discovered graves there of some family members. They received permission to dig up a grave stone that was visible a few feet below the ground, seen via a gopher hole. That gravestone provided a most welcome piece of research that had eluded me for 40+ years. I told the researcher (when she disclosed this to me) that she was better than Santa Claus and I wept for what she had done for me. I believe since then that the airport has reinterred those graves as they were expanding parts of the airport.

Your Sight and Sound theater is beautiful! I bet the experience there is amazing!

Kudos again to those folks, for the solid storytelling and amazing cinematography of the movie. I LOVED the adherence to facts in the story, and I pulled out my copy of Walter Isaacson's Benjamin Franklin biography to read further on Benjamin and George's relationship and which provided the quote used in the review above.

I also have a DNA relationship to one of Benjamin Franklin's printing partners (Hugh Meredith) who's family provided the money to get it started, but who subsequently left due to his drinking and overall disinterest in the printing trade. Benjamin Franklin continued to write of Hugh's adventures to North Carolina, where he described the land there. He likely had a relationship down there, as I've seen a different surname "Pugh" associated with the Y-DNA test (often called the surname test, as it follows the male line.) It was my sister's observation of Hugh in the book and her reaching out to me that introduced me more fully to Benjamin Franklin. A retired professor who I tracked down from a very old post online told me that Pugh and Meredith families were often closely linked together - both being prominent and physically located near one another.

Benjamin Franklin was an interesting and flawed man - touched on very briefly in the film with a scene in a theater, where he is accompanied by a younger woman - one of many, but he adored one above the rest and maintained a flirtatious relationship with her while his wife remained at home across the ocean.

Yes..Sight & Sound strives to be TRUE to character of whomever they are portraying on both stage and screen - it's one of their aims and objectives that I treasure the most!!

NOAH was playing last year and I had seen the original NOAH production at the "smaller" Sight & Sound Theater back in 1996....the second production was held almost THIRTY YEARS later - 2025. Anyway...the first production, my husband invited my youngest son and his betrothed to accompany us to see NOAH and, after the play ended and upon exiting the theatre--guess what we saw in the sky--A DOUBLE RAINBOW--it was truly a "magical moment" - YAHWEH blessed us with that "affirmation" of his ETERNAL PROMISE never to destroy earth and its inhabitants via FLOOD...next time--it will be with FIRE!!!

Justin's avatar

I wonder more and more if the fire isn't going to be the truth being shown to everyone that consumes the evil people and reduces them to stubble. I also marvel that the weather modification that is happening (and causing rebounding heat, excessive storms and calamaties worldwide) mirrors what Revelations predicts. In many ways, we're bringing this on ourselves.

I'm looking for a second coming soon!

Justin's avatar

Quick question... will "A Great Awakening" eventually end up on DVD/Blu Ray? This is one I definitely want to own! I'd give copies as gifts to others, but I'm probably old school in still having a DVD/Blu Ray player, where others like to stream stuff.

John 17:17–19 gives us what we might describe as the theology of ordination, as Jesus consecrates the apostles in 17:17 (consecration in Christ the truth), sends them on mission in 17:18, and in 17:19, declares their consecration springs from his own consecration to the Father. Jesus commanding the apostles to “do this in memory of me” during the Last Supper (Luke 22:19) is the Synoptic account of the apostles receiving their priesthood from Jesus. In John 20, Jesus gives his apostles the power to forgive sins after bestowing the Holy Spirit upon them. During Jesus’ last appearance risen from the dead, he commissioned the apostles to minister in his name to the whole world. The Twelve were reconstituted again before the revelation of the Church to the world at Pentecost, and following Pentecost, they continued Jesus’ ministry: what Jesus began to do during his earthly ministry, he continues to do through the apostles after Pentecost.

I have always thought “why have you forsaken me” a strange thing for Christ to have said. But then the essence of God is mystery.

Words Beyond Me-Janice Powell's avatar

My understanding is that with all our sin upon Him, God turned away. So Christ was forsaken by the Holy God in our place.

Juju's avatar

I’ve always thought that God had to turn away for the sacrifice to complete. Had he stayed looking upon Jesus He might have been moved to save Him, disrupting the sacrifice. I remember when my son at age 7 injured his toe when a McDonald’s bathroom door was whisked open from the other side. In the ER they HAD to remove his toenail and you can imagine the torture he was feeling. They told me it was necessary to avoid an even worse scenario. I couldn’t handle seeing his pain. Had I watched I would have stopped it because my heart couldn’t handle the pain he was going through. I instead ducked my head behind his body to not see, but held his hand/arm tightly. There’s so much pain we can’t handle as parents that we also can’t interrupt for the sake of our children. In those moments a child would naturally think the parent didn’t love them enough or were deserting them when the opposite is true.

Also it’s kind of hopeful when you dwell on it: in our darkest moments we can be sure that God is still there and will protect us/raise us out of the darkness. He never really forsakes us even when it feels like it.

Lori's avatar

Agreed Juju. Watching a child hurt is the worst agony for a parent. I have no doubt God the Father and God the Holy Spirit felt the same way. Blessed Easter to you and yours Juju. You and Janice are certainly great blessings to all of us here.

Linda's avatar

He was forsaken so that we wouldn’t need to be! He paid a debt He did not owe. I owed a debt I could not pay….

Fortified City's avatar

Yes, that statement from Jesus “why hast thou forsaken me” tells us at two things.

For one during His entire ministry He was consciously aware of the Father’s fellowship 24/7.

Secondly, what Jesus did in the earth on the cross He did by Himself and in a certain manner He did it for Himself something He personally wanted to do. He tread the winepress of God’s wrath alone.

The work that Jesus did and continues to do is all His own.

Taking away the sins of the world was something Christ would do alone. Bringing many sons to glory is another.

We don’t have to wrestle with this trying to figure it out. It was plainly foretold and lived out in the Day of Atonement ritual performed by the high priest once a year.

The dual aspects of the two goats: one was sacrificed and the other was led out into wilderness carrying the sins of people transferred to it by the laying on of the hands of the high priest. All of this elaborate ritual spoke of the future when Christ would remove the sins of the entire world by Himself.

So that all who would come in faith could find peace with God and themselves. Remember it was unbelief that originally separated us from God; it is faith in the work of His Son that reunites back to Him.

Juju's avatar

That’s beautiful, Linda

Lori's avatar

I understand the same way Janice. For the sacrifice to be made, God the Father had to turn away. I often think about God the Father and God the Holy Ghost and the anguish they must have felt watching the agony all unfold. It breaks me to think of it.

Blessed Easter to you Janice and to your family. Thank you for never failing to share scripture with us. You are very dear to all of us. He is Risen.

Janice, as I prayed and pondered last night....that next to the last 'saying' of Yeshua on the Calvary hill cross 'popped' into my mind and I was filled with GRATITUDE and UNENDING AWE at the SUPREME SACRIFICE the Lord Yeshua Christ offered to save humanity from its "sin bent" so we could have the SWEET SOULS OF RANSOMED BEINGS to present to our Creator upon our physical death.

The Bondi move makes sense. Think about baseball and how Pitchers are utilized. You have a Starter, you have middle relief, you have a setup man, and then a Closer. Each role is unique from the other; the moment you put the ball in their hands, determines how long they stay in the game. I am assuming that Bondi hit her peak value and needed relief.

Bondi indicated two Democrats in DC. Look what happened. As I said yesterday, convicting a Democrat in DC is like getting Orcs to convict Sauron. Trying to break this lock on the DC DOJ is a herculean task and may require other skills. Normally you would use the IC to find the betrayals, but they to are deeply compromised. The globalists had decades to March through the US institutions.

Jeff may have made an error in his post today. "ActBlue is essentially the Democrats’ main online money machine: a nonprofit payment platform that launders, I mean processes individual donations for Democratic candidates and left-leaning causes, similar to how WinRed serves Republicans"

WinRed is not deeply corrupt as far as I know, and so the word "Supposedly"processes individual donations for Democratic candidates and left-leaning causes, similar to how WinRed serves Republicans" would have read better IMV. (Sorry Jeff, you can use the "convicting a Democrat in DC is like getting Orcs to convict Sauron." line anytime.

dbowde's avatar

Unfortunately winred is involved in smurfing just not at democrats levels. Also unfortunately 95% of republicans are bought and paid for whores with a good percentage taking foreign money

Valerie's avatar

Good philosophy. Except for the Epstein files, one could argue that she did a pretty good job, if for no other reason than all the lawsuits against the admin that they prevailed on.

Annie Rudy's avatar

I did read a good commentary today about how once you enter the swamp, the rules of engagement change, so to speak. You are now dealing with a bureaucracy that will lie, stonewall, and fight you every step of the way, and it makes it very hard to get anything done. Lowering the murder rate across the country by 20% is an accomplishment that should not be overlooked. Maybe she has done her part of the work and now the new guy comes in to take over. We have lots of questions but not necessarily many valid answers. I’m willing to wait and see how this all plays out.

Janice albert's avatar

I don’t actually there is a choice to waiting.. He will play this his way - remember TAW!

Beth's avatar

Personally, I believe the Epstein files will be used eventually. But it's not time. Holding those over the heads of a lot of powerful people gives Trump some leverage. And also puts him in extreme danger. These people aren't playing. I don't think any of those calls were up to bondi. Trump holds all the cards. Just like everything else he'll decide when it's time to show his hand. And that time is not yet, with yet being the operative word.

Natalie's avatar

But she didn't get any of the people that Trump cares most about: Comey, Brennan, Letitia James, etc. Many conservatives feel she did a bad job. And Sohrab Ahmari said she also did a lousy job on anti-trust issues and got rid of the populist DOJ person from JD Vance that was working on those issues. Her actions with the Epstein files were embarrassing, as was her performance before the Congressional hearing several weeks ago.

Astragale's avatar

Bondi didn’t get a single senior Democrat politician convicted.

Not one.

Despite their HUGE crimes:

Russia-Russia;

mass illegal immigration;

election fraud;

defrauding taxpayers (at the very least in MN & CA);

abuse of the power of the office of the POTUS by using the autopen….

Such serious crime - but ZERO convictions.

Willing Spirit's avatar

Patience, grasshopper. Bondi was phase one. I expect she played her role well. The game is not over.

dbowde's avatar

Bullshit. She was a compromise and the only ag candidate he could get through confirmation in our traitorous senate. You know the traitors who are making Trump The FIRST president in history to be blocked from recess appointments by his own party. He still hasn’t even been able to get 2/3’s of his us attorney and judge appointments through. Traitors all of them. Trump should be blasting them nonstop instead he keeps endorsing rinos candidates that stab him in the back

David A's avatar

As I said, you go to DC and convict a Democrat... (May as well go to Mordor and get the orcs to convict Sauron.)

PapayaSF's avatar

"But she didn't get any of the people that Trump cares most about….” Not yet, but I believe at least some of them will be indicted before the midterms. Big, complex federal cases take time.

Willing Spirit's avatar

But don’t you know, wishful thinking should just make it happen! Never mind the decades thick levels of Lawfare and Federal judge corruption that have to be worked through. Trump was supposed to fix this all overnight, don’tcha know?

What some people are using to think with must be a lot lower than their heads!

PapayaSF's avatar
2hEdited

My view is that Trump and his whole team know that winning the midterms is crucial. Democrats will hound them mercilessly if they win. We all know Democrats have committed many crimes, and that Trump likes bold, decisive action and wants vindication. He can take a “No one is above the law” approach that will be politically popular. He also knows timing, and indictments before the midterms will give him maximum advantage. Logic tells me this is bound to happen.

"Bondi's DOJ has overseen and supervised (again, no lawyer but just what it appears) the most successful series of legal defenses of an administration in American history. By my count, she/DoJ has won 32-33 appeals on various aspects of Trump's agenda. She has facilitated and supported the removal of 3.5 million illegal invaders. She has, via Harmeet Dhillon, brought universities to their knees over DEI (still a couple of guerilla holdouts). In short, if you omit the "big name arrests," Bondi's DoJ is simply the most effective and successful in history. And, oh yeah, did I mention that there have been FIVE major human trafficking busts in 18 mo. Now, again, impossible to prove, but where did the leads for those busts---that have freed thousands of kiddos---come from? Gee, couldn't be the old Eppy Files, could it?"

The FBI statistics for the past 12 months paint a very different picture than the criticisms thrown at Patel. He might not have accomplished the one mission people most wanted him to, but when you look at what the FBI DID accomplish it’s breathtaking, and nothing has ever been done like it before, much less in so little time. He and Bongino deserve a lot of credit for what they have accomplished. Again it’s in the numbers and numbers don’t lie like fake news or disgruntled dissenters do.

I judge them on results and theirs cannot be contested (unless you expected them to show proof Epstein killed himself and hang every last guilty participant to his world and that’s all you wanted the FBI to do.)

Many conservatives act like consumers of People magazine gossip and eat up what the media feeds.

Trump has them figured into the equation.

Willing Spirit's avatar

Yes. This notion that if someone is placed in a position, they should get to keep the position just because they have that position is immature and silly. Different players have tasks at different phases and the practice of replacing them for a next phase is the flexibility and adaptability required for strategized success.

Inverted Pyramid's avatar

I agree. In football, the offense will often put in the “change of pace” running back. When the defense sees the rhythm that the offense is playing, it’s much easier to defend… hence the change of pace. This makes the defense alter their approach with different personnel and/or different alignment.

Blanche is not a career bureaucrat and already has experience with players like James. Hopefully, Harmeet Dhillon gets elevated, too.

It would not surprise me to see Dhillon nominated for AG while Blanche is a distraction… a distraction with a limited and focused purpose.

I have known lawyers who were really good at assembling a case. They understood it completely, knew exactly what order everything should be introduced, but were not good at examining on the stand a witness. It seems like the trad media became too comfortable in their rhetoric about her, but her performance in senate hearings left Trump supporters dissatisfied and unimpressed.

She didn't seem aggressive or bold enough and lacked grit. Like she was holding back and intentionally slow walking.

Trump needs someone unfazed, unshakable, unpredictable and intimidating.

The Dems had the Epstein files for four years. There is nothing there to hurt any Dems. They left enough big names there to be juicy. Likewise that info exists still somewhere. If John Roberts was on a video wearing a pink tutu and chasing 15 year old boys around a king size bed not a chance in the world would it have been left in the files. But also not a chance they erased everything.

Think about it, anyone they want to blackmail, including Thune Roberts Mitch etc, would have been removed. Why? Because a compromised Thune on the inside being threatened is far more powerful for Dems than a disgraced Thune with a Trump ally in his place.

Same as with Roberts. They don’t want him gone. He votes with the Constitution 75% of the time. And with Ds on the big ones.

Being Holy Week and Good Friday we all should look at our world, the way the corrupt and powerful sell their souls for their 30 pieces of silver and how they crush the average working person. It’s communism versus liberty. Totalitarianism versus freedom. Good versus evil. And in the end after they crushed Jesus he rose from the dead. He in the end defeated evil.

I told her she needs to find Jesus and all that ugliness toward Christians will fall away. Her words were very ugly.

This won't surprise most C & C readers; it's sadly funny:

"Analyses of doctors’ strikes in modern history have revealed a paradoxical trend: when doctors go on strike and elective surgeries are suspended, population mortality often stays the same or decreases

. A review of the literature identified 156 articles, with several key studies highlighting instances where death rates significantly fell.

The three most famous, frequently cited examples of declining death rates during doctors’ strikes are:

1. Israel (1973): During a one-month doctor strike, mortality rates dropped by 50%.

2. Bogotá, Colombia (1976): A 52-day strike by medical doctors resulted in a 35% drop in the death rate.

3. Los Angeles County, USA (1976):Doctors went on strike for five weeks over high malpractice insurance premiums, leading to an 18% reduction in mortality.

Additional instances where mortality dropped or remained steady during industrial action include Israel in 1983 and 2000, Spain in 1999, and Croatia in 2003.

I would bet that not only did fewer surgeries contribute to the lower death rate, but also fewer prescriptions for pHARMa toxic potions. I read that the morticians in Israel had such a crisis with a staggering 50% fewer deaths that they begged the government to end the strike! (https://substack.com/redirect/eb59f1c4-0a37-40a6-a637-304ebfd9e937?j=eyJ1IjoiOTgyeTgifQ.G9CN6opTAieXEVBws-vZi_yEVpE_gfX76i-T-0tu6oY)(Remember, Israel has one of the world’s most advanced, technologically innovative healthcare systems.)

We have a crisis in our land. We face fiscal demise due to exploding disease maintenance costs. The more “medical care” we give (funded by government and private insurance) the likely more adverse outcomes we will have since what gets funded is after the fact symptoms suppression chemicals. Your degeneration started in your childhood. If you have known cancer, you’re likely to have harbored the malignant cells for at least 10-20 years. Better to make lifestyle changes. SHug's avatar

Based on a March 2026 investigation published by The New York Times, extensive evidence emerged detailing allegations that Cesar Chavez, the late co-founder of the United Farm Workers (UFW), groomed and sexually abused girls and women during his leadership of the union in the 1960s and 1970s.

Dordulian Law Group

Key details of the allegations reported in March 2026:

Dolores Huerta's Account: Dolores Huerta, the celebrated activist who co-founded the UFW with Chavez, publicly disclosed that Chavez sexually assaulted her in the 1960s, stating she was pressured into one encounter and forced in another. She stated these encounters resulted in pregnancies that she kept secret.

Abuse of Minors: The investigation revealed allegations from multiple women, including Ana Murguia and Debra Rojas, who reported that Chavez sexually abused them when they were 12 and 13 years old, respectively.

Reaction and Impact: Following the report, the UFW cancelled events honoring Chavez, and numerous cities and states, including California and Texas, moved to rename streets, schools, and parks, or remove holidays dedicated to him.

Family Response: The family of Cesar Chavez released a statement stating they were "deeply shocked" and "not in a position to judge" the claims, while honoring the voices of those who reported the abuse.

The Guardian

The reports have significantly impacted the legacy of the civil rights leader, shifting public perception and leading to a reexamination of his actions.

On the Act Blue story, I think it clear what is going on- the criminal investigation is about to revealed and all of the rats ran to the NYTimes to get their alibis published in order to ensure they are not indicted along with the organization's management.

Arturo A.'s avatar

Those rats probably included an awful lot of basically whistleblowers shoring up their own defenses. They know they're dealing with Democrats scumbags that throw them to the wolves first. They likely brought tons of material to the NYT. It was too much, too good, even NYT had go with it. The damage was done, prosecution hell is coming for Act Blue, no avoiding it, so may as well get the "scoop".

It would be out of (so far demonstrated) character, and I also hope she wouldn't do that.

Proberta's avatar

"did not start a fight for kicks-n-giggles."

No, he did it for Rottchild.

Donald Trump has bombed Iran, Nigeria, Yemen, Venezuela, Iraq, Somalia, and Syria, killing innocent women, children and civilians.

What do those countries have in common?

They are remaining countries NOT on the Rottchild banking system.

You know who else is NOT on the Rottchild banking system?

Cuba.

Have you seen the videos of the Cuban people desperately begging the World for help? They have NO OIL.

No power, no hospitals, no gas, no food, no transportation. Cubans are in horrible conditions and crisis and begging the World for help.

Why? Because Donald Trump bombed Venezuela, so City of London could install a new regime and take over Venezuelan oil, and then Trump ordered a blockade to prevent ships from getting oil to Cuba. (Venezuela is one of the largest oil suppliers for Cuba.)

In March '26 Trump stated that Cuba is "going to fall pretty soon".

Yes because Trump is committing economic genocide. Trump has cut off oil to Cuba!

Why?!???

WTF did Cubans do to deserve Trump DESTROYING Cuba???

And who benefits?

Rottchild.

And who benefits when Trump started WW3 and is destroying the world economy?

Rottchild.

Take the red pill.

Inisfad's avatar

You have it backwards. Trump is dismantling the City of London.

Willing Spirit's avatar

New name on here? Rottchild?

Proberta's avatar

Contrary to the hype and public imaging, Donald Trump is a lousy businessman. Trump lost those casinos and the investors monies, and then he sold his soul to Rottchild.

Which is why Trump is president. And what Trump does benefits Rottchild. Like when Trump filled the Swamp, AGAIN, along with all those Deep State, Globalist, Rottchild banking executives, Cabal spawn, Skull&Bones, Goldman-Sachs secret society Epstein frat bros that Trump appointed, including Wilbur Ross, the EXECUTIVE MANAGING DIRECTOR OF ROTTCHILD BANKING INDUSTRIES, to be the Secretary of COMMERCE for the United States of America!

It’s to change it and make it their own, in their own image, not in Trump’s. But they can’t pi** off Trump in the process because he will bury them, which is why they attack us and not him. They can’t win others over to their team with reasoned debate, so they have to try to convert the base and claim it as their own. It’s the only way they can get enough supporters, they have to steal them, pick them off one by one like the hyenas they are.

Johnny-O's avatar

The maga base is doing it to themselves - cheering on a war in which brothers and sisters are dying - for Israel. $39 trillion in debt and counting. Bases destroyed. Crucial global energy assets destroyed. Good stuff. Keep cheering it on though.

TexBritta's avatar

Ha, yeah and the Biden regime sent billions to Ukraine. Then you state trillions in debt. Well, who the hell put us in debt?

It certainly wasn’t a realestate tycoon, it was the establishment, both dems and reps.

But you certainly have a right to your opinion.

Johnny-O's avatar

You partisans are so blind....let me help you.....Trump's first term - record deficit. Biden - new record deficit! Trump's current term - more record deficits.

Of course congress signs off on it all, but then ultimately, so does POTUS.

You are right Johnny-O ... To focus on $40Trillion in debt - That is the One True Existential Crisis NO-ONE wants to face. But, what is the SOLUTION you propose?

Far as I'm concerned There are TWO:

Austerity, cut all kinds of spending/benefits/programs; risk civil war; live like Greece not that long ago... it is one path.

The other, what you'd expect from someone like Trump (and admittedly probably NOT a long term solution) is his "Golden Age" prosperity, GDPs that restore some balance to our debt. ... That is what everyone REALLY wants, they want MORE OF THE SAME. Not Austerity, they want to cover their eyes to the future and what that portends for the Children of today... roll the dice and see if just maybe there is someway out - Maybe the Moon? Maybe Mars? Maybe Not.

BUT YES! (as said elsewhere):

THIS! is what I voted for and have been waiting to see out of D.C. (out of the NYTimes is a Surprise!)... but hopefully this means things are headed the right way:

(P.S. - If "ActBlue" has grown stale - Think... Sam Bankman-Fried's FTX Cyrpto corruption & his parents (his Mom's/Stanford University based: "Mind the Gap") Billions in Crypto Fraud and the ActBlue fraud, a billion to Stacey Abrams via Nonprofits in Georgia; Whitmer's $20 Million to Faye Beydoun here in Michigan, Old Folks everywhere being asked why they seem so poor; but supposedly repeated low dollar donations were being made to DNC in their names???; etc.etc.etc.)

it's a long path... no easy fix... but need to start by burning that B.S down!

Willing Spirit's avatar

From years of exposure to Johnny Zero here, he doesn’t have any solution. Like a good Muslim/communist, he’s just about tearing down Western Civilization. Thus, never has a good word to say about America or Israel.

Proberta's avatar

Or...stop the war.

Trump and Bibi's war to steal Iran's oil is costing the American taxpayers $1BILLION dollars a day!

Joze's avatar
15mEdited

Could be Short sighted.

Try:

-EU takes over Iran/Hormuz issues,

-continues to pay more for their NATO defense; while we pay less.

-due to positioning and desire for OUR assets less war needed everywhere and

-Muslim extremists can be sent home (everyone missed: https://apnews.com/article/eu-migration-deport-asylum-return-hub-detention-c66ca47aa73c0d0ad3477c8c23cebc50 ).

If Trump keeps it short as he keeps saying, may be one of the best “investments” we’ve ever made.

Johnny-O's avatar

Respectfully, it isn't my responsibility to come up with the solution. I'm not in DC.

I would start by doing some heavy auditing of the pentagon, and decreasing spending by 50% - not increasing it by 50% as Trump would like, which is utterly bananas. China and Russia combined don't even spend that much and have far more to show for their meager expenditures than do we.

Begin diverting subsidies from large MNCs to small business owners. When we put money in the hands of many small business owners that money stays in the economy. Billionaires getting fat bank accounts doesn't help our economy.

And of course, something must be done about the FED. Why do we have to pay interest on our own money? The never-ending debt trap must end.

Joze's avatar

Now You’re talking … appropriate cuts good idea!

(DOGE? Fraud? And Yes Military… once threats are minimized) add that to prosperity and opportunity in the stars and via some optimism… and there may very well be a 3rd or 4th way out!

Thanks!!!

Today is the first day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread, a High Day Sabbath, after Passover Day. Exodus 13:6-10. This commemorates Yahweh bringing Israel out of Egypt, which represents sin. It also foreshadowed the time of the Messiah who gave his life as the Passover Lamb for our sins. Unleavened bread represents sound doctrine and removal of sin from our lives and hearts. These are commanded observances, "a statute forever throughout your generations", Lev. 23:41. Yahshua the Messiah kept His Father's commandments, and set the example for us. The Apostles and early believers all kept the statutes and Sabbaths.

This year the count toward Pentecost, the Feast of Weeks, begins on April 5, after the weekly Sabbath, making Pentecost May 24.

Okay, listen up all you Epstein fanatics:

What you do not understand is that it was Trump’s DOJ that originally tried to get these files released and the Obama Judge said hell no. Then they took it to the appeals court and it sat there. I got so much stuff on this and his other rape cases which are all BS. All you have to do is go looking into court documents and draw your own conclusions. Not one of these woman proved they were raped by Trump.

It’s an Obama judge that didn’t release the Epstein grand jury witness testimony documents.

Here is the original case👇🏿

https://storage.courtlistener.com/recap/gov.uscourts.flsd.693993/gov.uscourts.flsd.693993.4.0_1.pdf

https://www.courtlistener.com/docket/70892755/in-re-grand-jury-05-02-wpb-07-103-wpb/

read the pleadings in the docket report 👆🏾

Why didn’t Biden’s DOJ file pleadings to unseal grand jury testimony? 👇🏿Hum?

The Biden administration's Department of Justice (DOJ) did NOT file a complaint to unseal grand jury testimony related to Jeffrey Epstein. Instead, the DOJ had previously sought to unseal grand jury materials, but federal judges have consistently denied these requests. Well why not?

The DOJ had previously stated that it fulfilled its obligations under the Epstein Files Transparency Act by releasing all required documents. Everyone go read it!

If you honestly believe the victims are screaming for exposure of their rapists then think again. Until THEY challenge and adjudicate THEIR signed NDAs there’s not a thing the DOJ or Trump can do about it. They signed a deal with the devil in which they cannot expose the names of their rapists . What they got in return are millions and they definitely made their counsel happy. Do you honestly think Trump’s DOJ is stupid enough to break the law and have these attorney vultures go after them legally?

In response to the claims, the Epstein Victims’ Compensation Fund (VCP) was established. This fund allowed survivors to file claims against Epstein's estate without going through lengthy court battles. The VCP distributed over $121 million to 135 survivors before it closed in 2021.

NDAs are designed to protect the privacy of the victims and the details of the settlements. Which means their rapists can never be exposed. They did this to theirselves and they made sure to manipulate these women. Now they scream. Anyone that has a little knowledge of NDAs should know this.

Epstein ain’t going away cause ignorant people will make sure of it. Trump knows the outrage and I’m willing to bet he’ll be forced via congressional vote (again) to release ALL documentation. I think that’s what he wants. I guess we will see. But they released what they legally could.

I cannot believe the ignorance of people when it comes to the legality of this Epstein saga! The rapists, the evil doers got what they wanted from the very beginning and the women sold their soul for money. If they want them exposed then by all means challenge your NDA in a court of law or just shut up about it.

Democrat representatives are banking on their base to stay this ignorant. This is all they have and when you start digging you realize how uneducated the democrats really are.

Epstein, Epstein, Epstein!

With all due respect, get educated or stay ignorant on this issue.

I have looked in to this too and am frustrated with people who don’t bother to investigate and see why exactly the law will not allow Trump or anyone to create a sideshow just to satisfy their gross ignorance.

I wish I could heart this more than once. I don't know the details and timeline but I knew that this all pre-dated Trump and my gut said if there was anything against Trump or any Republican, a release would have happened under BO or Biden. And the victims signing an NDA and then crying for the news cameras are pathetic--it's clear that they had buyer's remorse because if they could name names, they would have.

Good use of Common Sense!

This makes sense. I will screenshot the links for later, but on the surface it seems the most logical explanation. Wondering about the woman who was recently found dead from ‘suicide’. Did she challenge her NDA or did she never sign one to begin with? Virginia…

TexBritta's avatar

No, she did not sign one. I can find that for you. Funny, my instincts told me to look at that.

Great minds and all that 😉

Thank you for your excellent information. I knew nothing about the court listener site nor the Epstein Victims' Compensation Fund nor did I have a deep understanding of NDAs. You have educated a lot of us. Thank you.

Thank you. Very kind of you! I do have quite a bit of legal experience and background so I went digging…lol

If anyone can create a leak about this, it is God. He can perform miracles as we know so I hope and pray God has a plan to expose the rapists so arrests and punishments can begin. Thank you for this comment. BTW, Sayer Ji has a substack going into depth on Epstein and all his connections. You many be interested in checking him out sometime.

Wow, a little Shakespeare sprinkled in today's substack! Haven't thought of that quote since high school..."something wicked this way comes".

Have a blessed Good Friday and Easter Sunday!
