That was a fun read. Seeing all the fired Fed workers who are suddenly wondering how to look for a job. They made fun of coal miners losing their jobs 'learn to code'.

Now it's their turn! Maybe they can pick crops now that the illegals are getting booted as well.

Now that DOGE has the skinny on all the NGOs funded by USAID and other parts of the government, I suspect that the new FBI will be making courtesy calls on the organizations checking to make sure that the grants were spent in the ways applied for. Obviously buying expensive SUVs for your top people to use for studying the pressing question of the green frog’s mating habits might raise some eyebrows. The potential crime in all these cases is defrauding the US Government; conviction of which can not only involve a stint in jail but also financial clawback.

Some of these NGOs have undoubtedly made significant contributions to political candidates. So the New Justice Department will undoubtedly be busy. The juicy part of all this is that it will be a popular cause satisfying Trumps desire to retaliate in a way that is not going after β€œold enemies”.

The takedown of this agency was absolutely necessary.

Anitaβ€”Thank you for the link to Mike Benz and Bannon. I admit to having had to google USAID to even know where to begin to understand what it is and why it is. Now, having listened to Mike Benz, I am dumbfounded at the depth of corruption of our government. May God have mercy on us. What our government owes the world for the chaos it has sown for decades cannot be measured. I fear we have seen Leviathon, and it is us.

Expand full comment
MarkGW's avatar

This is so puzzling to me. There have been "a number" of people and sources and even legislators who have call out USAID to be corrupt and de-funded. Mike Benz, MTG, etc, etc. It has been a well known secret that it is the slush fund for the CIA. But somehow with Trump and Elon getting access, the tipping point has been crossed and can't be uncrossed. This, to me, is just like knowing that the shots are killing many people, that vaccines are significantly harming our kids, that the medical industrial complex is not working to cure or prevent any disease. These are "well known" now, but some tipping point has yet to be crossed.

Expand full comment
pretty-red, old guy's avatar

great analogy, dead on.

My guess: there is still significant resistance with the "common man" who simply cannot believe that vaccines cause harm. It may be just that simple.

Expand full comment
Annie's avatar

I don't think that's it, because there are still "common folk" who think USAID was completely charitable, despite the evidence. I think the tipping point happens when the entity that is benefitting from the fraud can no longer benefit - when the tap is turned off, and they can no longer receive profit. If they can't get the money from the con, the con will cease, (and likely morph).

"I think you have tactical wokeness in service of statecraft." This is an important exchange I had with @ggreenwald tonight on USAID. I went over Wokeness vs Blobness, and why **the Republican** wing of NED funds transgender dance festivals, ethnic identity events and rap groups"

https://x.com/MikeBenzCyber/status/1886655861734408356

----

Sounds a lot like certain political parties in OUR country?

Benz even suggests Trump MIGHT find a way to use aid for minority and ethnic identity events to forward OUR purposes, to "play hardball." I don't think much of this idea.

Isn't this how we got all the psyops here dividing people who weren't divided? -- "Racial animosities inflamed" to "angry up" (ex. summer protests in Cuba) for "ethnic balkanization"... "capacity building," "funding the fusion of networks, instrumentalized by the State Dept, and by extension the State Dept and NED"

but finishes with "it IS wasteful spending" (as Elon is saying) to not use the money for America, rather than for foreign meddling.

----

Shouldn't organic political groups be doing this on their own dollars?!

Instead of programming and psyoping hearts and minds, shouldn't we ACTUALLY win hearts and minds through truth and common sense, winning for humanity's sake?

C'mon, now.

Thank you for calling Elon’s team β€˜six young men.’ I’m unreasonably bothered by the news and people on X calling them β€˜Elon’s team of autists’. Is there any proof that they’re all autistic? I haven’t seen it if so. Maybe some are, but some are just that smart.

There’s nothing wrong with being an autistic genius, of course, look at Elon himself. But if these young guys aren’t autistic, using that word feels pejorative. Is it just me?

Jeff C's avatar

I think you might be overreacting a bit. In right-wing internet parlance "autist" has really just come to mean someone with singular focus, high intelligence, and intense drive. It's not in any way a negative and is meant in a strange, complementary fashion. I don't think these guys are offended.

It's unfortunate as there people severely affected with autism and low functioning, and the term autist minimizes their condition to some extent. Its similar to how retard now just means a stupid person rather than someone genuinely retarded. But it is what it is.

Jeff C's avatar

Understand as I have a family member in a similar position. In my experience though, true autism is characterized by the utter inability to view things from another's perspective (i.e. the hallmark lack of empathy which I have seen first hand far too often. It is extremely unpleasant). But many positive character traits that people now call "autistic" are simply those of driven, successful people of past ages.

Bottom line IMO, is that we've got to pick our battles, not everything is an outrage. The fact that people now view certain positive character traits (intelligence, focused, accomplished, driven) as "autist" doesn't seem like such a bad thing. Plus there's nothing we can do about it anyways.

Expand full comment
Adrian's avatar

As the saying goes, "If you've met one autist, then you've met one autist." There's a reason that people talk about the "autism spectrum" - it can manifest in so many different ways.

In my own case, it manifests itself by giving me an unrivaled intuitive understanding of new concepts while robbing me of any kind of intuitive understanding of people. Over the years, I've learned to "mask" my social disability pretty well, and any time I tell someone that I'm an autist I'm usually met with "Really? I never would have known!" But they don't understand the constant, exhausting conscious mental effort I have to go through in order to have a "normal" conversation, and I don't know that I'll ever get over the paralysis I feel when I'm in a crowded room with ever-shifting groups of people (despite decades of effort, I _still_ don't understand the "rules" of how those work).

I'm certainly not "outraged" when people misunderstand autism, but I do try to educate people about it. The way our culture tends to look at it, autism usually means "crazy smart and not able to function in society." For the vast majority of us who are able to successfully mask, we're usually met with "Oh, you're obviously not _really_ autistic, and you just need to try harder!" - which is pretty frustrating. If our culture moves towards "autism is a superpower," then that'll make our lives even harder.

With Democrat politicians from Senate & House leading protest over the shutting down of USAID we should remember when you hear about anyone protesting the closure of USAID, if any politicians are concerned all they have to do is sponsor legislation to fund any projects USAID was funding, so shutting USAID down is really no big deal.

A couple of years ago I had a conversation with a SC state house rep and one thing we talked about was Lindsey Graham. This rep told me Lindsey has access to large amounts of cash and uses it to buy state politicians, feeding their corruption. I have no reason to doubt that and odds are much of that money came from USAID NGO's. Now that those USAID funds are blocked, this might be the time to hammer the bought politicians. When the funding stops at least some of them will reveal their inner weaknesses.

Strike while the iron is hot!

USAID gave $1.2 billion to undisclosed recipients. I’ve no doubt our young boy geniuses will disclose them in no time…let’s wager who’s on the list? I’ll start: Graham, AOC, Schumer, Pelosi, Murkowski. I could go on and on…

Speaking of Graham, something has happened to the usual suspect RINO malcontents in the Senate like Graham, Tom Tillis, and Markwayne Mullin. These guys could be counted on to disrupt any positive progress with obvious disingenuous talk about "principles". Yet now they aren't, Mullin even sounds like a Trumpster.

I suspect these guys are beyond-the-pale corrupt, probably even compromised. Team Trump then compiled dossiers on them, sat them down, showed them what they had on them, and let them now they will now be MAGA patsies or they will be exposed. There's just no other explanation that makes sense.

Senator Cassidy is fanatical about making RFK say the words, "safe and effective." It's weird. I know he is a physician and he told a story about treating a woman in end stage liver disease due to Hep B and how she could have been saved with a vaccine (there is SO much to say about that scenario, but I'll leave it for now) and he basically implied that RFK would be responsible of thousands more like that woman with his vaccine stance.

In β€œThe Creature from Jekyll Island,” G. Edward Griffin discusses how foreign aid creates a system of dependency that β€œβ€˜set[s] up conditions exactly opposite to those required for economic growth’” (he’s quoting Paul Roberts of the Center for Strategic and International Studies in Washington). Basically, the same old socialist formula of control through perpetual dependency.

C&C Army, today, February 4, is a day of historic significance as it is the five-year anniversary of the EUA and PREP Act declarations that initiated the COVID war against humanity.

Debbie Lerman and Sasha Latypova compiled a document with detailed evidence showing COVID was a globally coordinated military and intelligence operationβ€”not a public health event:

β€’ β€œThe COVID Dossier”: https://margaretannaalice.substack.com/p/the-covid-dossier

Nanotechnological Poisons From Above - Swiss Research Team Reveals Geoengineering "Spider Filaments" Are Polyamide Nanofibers Delivering Highly Toxic Chemicals - We Are Inhaling Them

ANA MARIA MIHALCEA, MD, PHD

....It is my great hope that the next step of analysis can also be the correlation of the chemicals in the COVID19 bioweapons with the toxic substances deployed via military geoengineering operations.

The final request of the group is the most important part. Clifford and I have been warning about an extinction level event due to the contamination of human blood. Every citizen must take this information to their politician, their police officers, their townhalls. Maybe if they understand that they are being slow killed too, someone will do something about this.

All poisons create oxidative stress in the body. High level of antioxidants like Vitamin C, NAC, Glutathione and others can help mitigate the damage to some degree.

PANDEMIC PREPAREDNESS RACKET AND DOD

The Covid Dossier: A record of military and intelligence coordination of the global Covid event. US, UK, Canada, Australia, Germany, the Netherlands, Italy

SASHA LATYPOVA

...The Covid Dossier is a compilation of the evidence we have amassed over the last three years supporting the following claim:

Covid was not a public health event, although it was presented as such to the world’s population. It was a global operation, coordinated through public-private intelligence and military alliances and invoking laws designed for CBRN (chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear) weapons attacks...

...HOW IT STARTED: FIVE YEARS AGO TODAY

Exactly five years ago, on February 4th, 2020, two things happened that almost nobody knows about, but that played an important role in the course of recent world history:

1) Two declarations for CBRN (weapons of mass destruction) emergencies – EUA and PREP Act – made by the U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services, were registered on this date...

...2) A pharmaceutical executive was caught on tape saying that the U.S. Department of Defense called to inform him β€œthat the newly discovered Sars-2 virus posed a national security threat.” ...
