☕️ TUCKERED OUT ☙ Tuesday, April 25, 2023 ☙ C&C NEWS 🦠
My thoughts on Tucker's evacuation from Fox; doomed Ukraine Narrative begins predicted gloomy shift; cancer bomb detonates in UK; actor non-update; Biden is back; and Tucker's best video ever.
Good morning, C&C, it’s Tuesday! In today’s roundup: thoughts about Tucker’s “parting of the ways” with Fox News; the Narrative’s Ukraine Titanic begins its long, slow turnaround in an eye-popping Politico piece; more thinly-disguised truth appears in UK media in the form of an admission of a “cancer bomb” worse than covid itself, if you can believe that; an non-update update on Jamie Foxx’s medical complication; Biden announces, of course, after pretending to make a big mystery about it; and the most important and meaningful thing Tucker ever said.
🗞💬 *WORLD NEWS AND COMMENTARY* 💬🗞
🔥 Late yesterday evening, likable, partially-eyebrowed, science-following never-Trumper Brian Kilmeade chippily hosted Tucker Carlson Tonight, which was suddenly and unexpectedly renamed Fox News Tonight, instead of that despicable anti-science anti-vaxxer, the election-denying, insurrection-denying, Putin-loving, transphobic Tucker Carlson, who was nowhere to be seen, because he’d suddenly and unexpectedly got his pink slip a few hours earlier, in a spangly rainbow-colored envelope.
Buh-bye, cave man.
And just like that, the instant HR clicked the “send” pixels on Tucker’s notice email, the entire Fox News Network’s background testosterone levels dropped by 90%, immediately causing the handful of remaining men to feel their shirts tightening from creeping gynecomastia.
Sometimes I try to imagine the difficult conversations. “Brian, so what are you doing tonight at 8pm? You free?” One has to imagine Kilmeade wasn’t exactly elated over the surprise career opportunity, knowing that literally millions of seething Tucker fans would be watching, grinding their teeth, and sinfully wishing him to have an on-air vaccine coincidence.
In fact, Kilmeade started the show by gliding past the news of Tucker’s firing going about 90 mph. It was so fast the DC Enquirer included that fact in its headline: “WATCH: Brian Kilmeade Fills In For Tucker, Glosses Over Carlson’s Departure From Fox News.”
Hot takes have flooded the Internet airwaves. The real reason for Carlson’s firing, whatever it is, lies buried under two metric tons of speculative cow patties. Nobody really knows. Tucker isn’t talking, and probably shouldn’t until he calms down. Fox isn’t talking, and probably shouldn’t so they don’t give Tucker any excuse to sue them.
After all, Fox JUST stroked a check to Dominion for almost $800 million dollars in what looked from the outside to be an un-loseable lawsuit.
Two highly-suggestive things happened in the days before Tucker got his notice. The first was Fox’s announcement of the Dominion settlement, which must have stung. Consider this, from a jaded lawyer’s imagination: what if the reason they were forced to settle was something dumb Tucker said in an email or text message that came out in discovery? The Murdoch boys could’ve been saying to themselves, this $35 million-a-year joker just cost us $800 million bucks, which would’ve paid for another super-yacht.
To be clear: I have no reason whatsoever to believe that, except I’ve seen that kind of thing happen in lawsuit after lawsuit. But it’s just a wild guess.
The other thing that happened — again, mere days preceding termination — was Tucker took it to pharma over the vaccines in his strongest tirade yet, calling them dangerous and ineffective, and accused the other networks of shilling for the deadly snake oil. I note without further comment that, days after James O’Keefe ran his own Pfizer exposé, Project Veritas ritualistically slaughtered its golden goose JUST LIKE Fox News has now done to its prime time lineup.
The similarities are remarkable.
I am starting to think that we, the people, the citizens of this once-great Nation, may have to quit Waiting for Superman and take it upon ourselves to dismantle Big Pharma. If we can boycott the biggest beer brand in America (Bud Light) because of a silly transvestite label, we should be able to delete the largest pharmaceutical firms in the country because of the mountains of corpses of our friends and relatives.
In future posts I will further develop this theme, believe me. So stay tuned. This aggression will not stand, to quote The Dude, who himself was quoting terrific anti-communist and deep-state whipping-boy Richard Milhous Nixon.
Anyway, don’t count Tucker out. Consider his universe of options, now that he’s been unshackled from his Fox contracts and his demanding 8pm nightly time slot. What would it look like if Tucker and O’Keefe paired up? Or imagine Tucker joining the Republican ticket as say, somebody’s Vice President? Or running for Senate somewhere? Or joined the growing Daily Wire team? Or if he did something completely new, like pal’d up with Elon Musk to anchor a Twitter-based news network?
Elon is already working on something similar.
When God closes the door, he opens a window. Tucker’s opportunities are limitless. We will watch his future career with great interest.
And finally, I hate to stir the pot, but it is worth noting that Blackrock/Vanguard own substantial parts of both Fox and Dominion (through State Street). The unearned $800 million in voluntary settlement payments will be extremely helpful to Dominion going into the 2024 elections, don’t you think? Just a coincidence, I’m sure.
🔥 Right on schedule! Before I describe this next story, cast your mind back over the miles of muddy roads, the closely-framed shots of a single burned-up Russian tanks and trucks, the carefully-rehearsed scenes of villagers fleeing across town squares, the narrowly-shot images of holes in the sides of Soviet-era apartment buildings, and most of all, the ceaseless barrage of headlines constantly promising imminent Ukrainian victory, Any. Second. Now.
Just a few billion more tanks and it will all be over.
Maybe not so much. Yesterday, Politico ran an uncharacteristically gloomy story headlined, “Biden’s Team Fears the Aftermath of a Failed Ukrainian Counteroffensive.” Failure? Of Ukraine? Not Russia? And the sub-headline, “Behind closed doors, the administration worries about what Ukraine can accomplish.”
Wait, what?
It was only yesterday morning that I suggested to you all the recent leaking might very well be a fake news pysop setting up a major Ukraine narrative shift. Well, stand back. It’s shifting.
Politico didn’t even try to dress it up in flag-waving, democracy-saving rhetoric. It’s pure politics:
[I]f the impending fighting season yields limited gains, administration officials have expressed privately they fear being faced with a two-headed monster attacking it from the hawkish and dovish ends of the spectrum.
And guess what? It was the LEAKS! Just like I predicted:
Those concerns recently spilled out into the open during a leak of classified information onto social media. A top secret assessment from early February stated that Ukraine would fall “well short” of its counteroffensive goals. More current American assessments are that Ukraine may make some progress in the south and east, but won’t be able to repeat last year’s success.
See, it’s not Biden’s fault. He’s kept up the lying and cheerleading about how well and bravely Ukraine was doing. But what is he supposed do about the bungling Ukrainians who can’t seem to win anything?
Keep in mind all the hyper-optimistic stories explaining exactly how Ukraine was always right about the teach the Russians a lesson they’ll never forget? Now, not so much:
Moreover, U.S. intelligence indicates that Ukraine simply does not have the ability to push Russian troops from where they were deeply entrenched — and a similar feeling has taken hold about the battlefield elsewhere in Ukraine, according to officials. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy says the U.S. hasn’t adequately armed his forces properly and so, until then, the counteroffensive can’t begin.
Wait, now the definitive Spring Counteroffensive that is going to change everything “can’t begin?” At least, not until the U.S. does something? Whose war is it? And I thought the Ukrainians were killing Russians ten-to-one? I thought we were all committed to the last Ukrainian? I thought the policy was, “not one inch?”
How could the dastardly Russians have turned things around on a dime like this? Whatever can be done?
Cue the peace deal, entering stage left:
There is belief that Kyiv is willing to consider adjusting its goals, according to American officials, and a more modest aim might be easier to be sold as a win. There has been discussion, per aides, of framing it to the Ukrainians as a “ceasefire” and not as permanent peace talks, leaving the door open for Ukraine to regain more of its territory at a future date.
But WHY? What happened to always being practically sick of all the Ukrainian winning? All the muddy, blown-up tanks and wrecked missile launchers? Suddenly, without warning, Ukraine isn’t doing so well after all:
It doesn’t help America’s confidence that the war has slowed to a brutal slog. Both sides have traded punishing blows, focused on small cities like Bakhmut, with neither force able to fully dislodge the other… The fighting has taken a toll on the Ukrainians as well. Fourteen months into the conflict, the Ukrainians have suffered staggering losses — around 100,000 casualties — with many of their top soldiers either sidelined or exhausted.
A hundred thousand casualties? Top soldiers sidelined and exhausted? Is that “disinformation” or something?
And, remember how in yesterday’s post I invoked the baleful specter of a sudden and unexpected Afghanistan-like departure? Did you think that was over the top, like our beloved pro-Ukraine commenters? Well, Politico did the exact same thing that I did:
U.S. officials have also briefed Ukraine on the dangers of overextending its ambitions and spreading its troops too thin — the same warning Biden gave then-Afghan President Ashraf Ghani as the Taliban moved to sweep across the country during the U.S. military withdrawal in 2021.
Uh oh. Ukraine just got the same warning from Biden that the Afghanis got. That can’t be good.
Don’t get me wrong. I will say it again, even clearer this time. I do not relish Ukrainian defeat. I have nothing but sympathy for the Ukrainian people who’ve been mashed like cauliflower in a grotesque, illegal Proxy War over secret deep state biolabs and NATO’s military-industrial brinksmanship. Ukrainian citizens deserve as much justice as jab victims.
But when Finland joined NATO last week, it gave the deep staters a much better-protected border with Russia, making Ukraine expendable. That’s bad news for Ukrainian nationalists as well as for the Finlanders. Now add Russian hypersonic missiles taking out top NATO generals.
That’s got to hurt. I think this whole Ukraine war thing has a very short clock running. Time for peace!
💉 The UK Telegraph ran a revealing comment yesterday headlined, “Lockdown’s Cancer Bomb May Soon Be Worse Than Covid Itself.”
“Lockdowns” caused the cancer bomb. LOCKDOWNS. That’s annoying, true, but it’s very very close to the truth. Even if it were only lockdowns, and not experimental lipid-nanoproteined mRNA injections causing the cancer bomb that soon may be worse than covid itself, it was still a manmade, avoidable phenomenon.
The Telegraph’s comment starts with this eye-opening statement:
Dealing with a stage one cancer is infinitely easier and consumes far fewer resources than a tumour which has migrated beyond its initial location to stage 3 or 4. The entire [NHS medical] system is now clogged up with more advanced conditions, not just cancer[.]
My goodness. Who could’ve seen THIS coming, besides Vladimir Zelenko, Ryan Cole, Peter McCullough, Jay Bhattacharya, Paul Marik, Pierre Kory, and a double handful of others?
The doctor who authored the comment for the Telegraph called out all the lying government officials, perhaps in a nicer way than I would have done:
[W]hen I read statements from various politicians and NHS England sources, I’m appalled by the spin and sheer refusal to accept how dire the situation is. Meaningless word salad, created by highly paid PR managers, is spouted out at the taxpayer’s expense simply to protect reputations rather than benefit patients. Politicians cannot say that they were not warned.
He’s SO close. He’s one skinny nanometer way from the truth. But he’s right about a lot of other things. He’s right that the governments did this. He’s right that the problem is getting out of control. He’s right that media and government are covering it up and doing nothing to stop it.
Here’s Ethical Skeptic’s latest graph of the trajectory of cancer mortality in younger Americans, helpfully compared against pre-pandemic levels:
That line is going the wrong way. And, unlike the Telegraph’s commenting doc, Ethical Skeptic does NOT believe the increased cancer rates are due to “deferred medical care:”
According to Ethical Skeptic, it is trivially easy to prove the increased cancer rates are not due to “deferred screenings.” He merely points out that not all historically-screened cancers are skyrocketing the same way. For example, lung cancers are DOWN. It makes no sense that unscreened lung cancers would escape lockdown exacerbation more than other types of unscreened cancer, not if “deferred screening” were actually the culprit.
The Telegraph’s commenter, a former WHO doctor, said he is baffled there is not any “all hands on deck” effort to deal with the explosion in late-stage turbo-cancer. The explanation is simple. The government is not racing to screen undiagnosed cancer because it knows that the problem is NOT delayed screening.
💉 The LA Times gave us a zero-calorie update on Jamie Foxx’s health condition yesterday. He’s still languishing in the hospital ever since having his obliquely-named “medical complication” on April 11th.
The Times’ headline reported, “In Latest Health Update, Nick Cannon Says Jamie Foxx Is Awake and Alert.” Oh, NICK CANNON says. Well then, it must be true. The Times’ non-story was just a bunch of quotes by Foxx’s show-business friends who “heard” that the A-list actor is doing much better. It’s all hearsay. None of them spoke to Foxx. There’s nothing from Foxx, his family, or his doctors.
All I could find suggested the star has yet to be diagnosed. The doctors aren’t getting anywhere. And they never will get anywhere, not THOSE Atlanta doctors. Jamie needs some doctors who aren’t chicken.
In other words, after suffering from a sudden and unexpected “medical complication” in the middle of filming his new movie, Foxx is still NOT “Back in Action.”
We continue to pray that his doctors will develop spines and gonads and figure out what’s really going on with Foxx.
📉 Surprising no one except itself, the New York Times ran a breathless story this morning headlined, “Biden Announces Re-election Bid, Defying Trump and History.”
Sounds terrific. Sorry if I don’t get up.
Joseph Robinette Biden announced — apparently early this morning (the Times said, “on Tuesday,” and it IS Tuesday) — that he and Kamala Harris will seek a second White House term, arguing that American democracy still faces a profound threat from China, I mean Russia, I mean he actually said from former President Donald J. Trump and I am not making that up.
The Times explained Biden’s decision was fueled, aides said, by his dislike for Mr. Trump and his resolute belief that he, Biden, is the Democrat best positioned to “keep the criminally indicted and twice-impeached former president from recapturing the White House.”
“Around the country, MAGA extremists are lining up to take on those bedrock freedoms away,” Mr. Biden circuitously said. “When I ran for president four years ago,” he added, referring to his youthful 80’s, “I said we were in a battle for the soul of America. And we still are.”
According to the Times, Biden picked Julie Chavez Rodriguez as his campaign manager. Of course he did. Rodriguez is a senior White House adviser and the proud granddaughter of marxist labor leader Cesar Chavez.
Sí se puede!
🔥 In support of Tucker Carlson, I’ll end today’s post with this clip from Tucker’s recent speech at the Heritage Foundation, which, as the tweet said, could be the most important thing Tucker has ever said. He gets it, and he understands it’s time to stop playing games and call things what they really are.
To give you a taste, Tucker defined good and evil:
“Good is characterized by order, calmness — tranquility, peace, whatever you want to call it — lack of conflict, cleanliness. Cleanliness IS next to Godliness. It’s true, it is. And Evil is characterized by their opposite. Violence, hate, disorder, division, disorganization, and filth. So, if you are all in on the things that produce the latter basket of outcomes, what you’re really advocating for is Evil. It’s true… I’m not making a partisan point, at all. I’m just noting what’s super-obvious.”
Here’s the rest of the clip. Enjoy!
