Scientist tells Fauci cloth masks don't work; dodges FOIA; while a senator got deplatformed for saying it out loud; Treasury's welfare cutoff roils Dems; a hero emerges from the sea; much more.
As a counterpoint, I was one of the 1% of physicians who did not believe the mask and vaccine baloney, and I told patients and friends as much. I want from 35 patients a day to 5 a week because people were afraid to mix in my waiting room, fearing contagion. I relinquished my license in July 2020 after 45 years of practice. I saw what organized medicine and government health "experts" had done to our profession, and I could no longer be a part of such a system.
Same here. I spent way too much time reassuring anxious parents that their children were not at risk of dying from Covid or should not be given the jab, educating my colleagues that someone who had recovered from Covid 4 weeks ago was ok to be seen by them now for their mechanical low back pain, that a whole family who was asymptomatic did not need Covid tests just because they were exposed to a friend whose brother had Covid, that the number of cycle times we were doing on the PCR test for Covid was set arbitrarily too high and was identifying fragments of Covid spike protein from people who had successfully recovered from Covid weeks earlier, that classifying patients who had been run over by a bus or shot in the chest and who had a Covid test performed in the emergency room that was positive DID NOT MEAN THEY DIED FROM COVID, ad infinitum.
In California I risked losing my license had Newsom’s medieval law passed regarding physician’s disseminating “false information”.
Wasn’t it just painful! I was on repeat. Our businesses were turned into the ‘Covid response team’ in Olympia WA. I fielded so many phone calls when people would turn us in for not requiring patrons to wear a mask. Not handing out masks. Not having hand sanitizer at the entry for all customers. The list goes on. It was costly as a small business owner. We were threatened by the Covid team that they would send an under cover team member to evaluate our store. I welcomed them and said we do not discriminate and that they will be treated like everyone else. Happy to keep taking your calls. I stayed vague and friendly. When we refused service to the CEO of the local hospital the calls increased because people were turning us in for refusing service 😂 bring it on! It was an intense time
Cheers! Nurse for 20+ and left April 2020. I was embarrassed to be honest. I was laughed out of meetings. These same doctors, nurses and administrators knew they didn’t believe the crap but in public followed like dutiful little idiot soldiers. I am still embarrassed. Angry. No trust in healthcare. Found homeopathy. Learning a real medicine. Cheers to the strong ones that left the BS
I had to wear a mask in my doctors waiting room, but when he came into the exam room, he told me I could take it off if I wanted to. It was all performative.
One trip to the doctor's office had me being one of the first patients seen after lunch. When I came into the back area separate from the waiting room, they were all finishing lunch, putting on masks, finishing their lunch, and going back to the respective areas. It felt like being backstage at a play.
I was fired for refusing to wear a mask in the dr office, and I just said, call me when this nonsense is over, but a week later, I got a letter saying because I refused to wear a mask, I would not be allowed back in the office. Ever.
Same. I do see my eye doctor and my independent holistic NP but never went back to the other doctors (family doctor and ob-gyn). I trusted them but conditionally--and they lost my trust with the way they behaved during Covid.
I have a physician (conservative) relative who was absolutely sure that masks were necessary. I tried discussing it with her, even asking about if her surgical practice used them prior to COVID19. I don’t talk with her about COVID19 times anymore, mostly not to embarrass her. She always got better grades growing up than I did, but I am starting to think that a lot of doctors were just good test takers. They’re still trying to get A’s.
What a wonderful insight: "They're still trying to get A's." Yes, they still want approval, the kind of status they had before. They, wearing their white coats, often with stephascopes around the neck have been at the top of the "respect" food chain for more than a century. It was always with pride that I heard a parent, especially a Mom say, "My son is a doctor." I don't think they were better at testing, good certainly, and good at memory stuff, but think of all those smart ones who became lawyers and scientists and mathematicians. I think the key is when you noticed that they are still trying to get A's. To me, that says it all.
Patti, receive this nomination for your post to be considered for "Bumper Sticker of the Year!" While, a little, terse, and ambiguous, it nevertheless captures Quite Well Indeed the feelings most of us have regarding the world we live in. Seeing this on a car in front while waiting at a stop, drivers will know "someone else gets it too!" Thank you and good luck in the competition.
DOCTOR Drass, I am sorry for the end and manner of the end of your career. Like educators, I hope your memories are buoyed by the sure knowledge that, whether "they" think of you or not, there are hundreds/thousands? of people going about their days "normally" because of your assistance. YOU did that. Well done, good and faithful servant.
Good for you. I stated at the time that the Covid response exposed the whole medical industry that they are all just order takers and cowards. Your 1% figure might be high. There should have been a ton more doctors like you.
It's amazing to me to see people still wearing masks. They're alone outdoors or alone in their cars, it doesn't matter. They advertise their stupidity. These are the die-hards that cannot be reasoned with, who are still lining up for the next booster shot. There was a laugh line about stupidity being painful a few decades ago. Now we're seeing the reality where stupidity is life threatening to the stupid person and the ones they directly influence.
It remains for a psychological researcher to establish the connection between wanting to wear a face diaper and something related to childhood toilet training. I admit that when I wore them (both/either), I felt childish.
It’s so sad how many good doctors and nurses our nation lost due to the government causing them to step away from their careers. I can’t for the life of me find a really good doctor near me that isn’t captured/trained by the system. My doctor retired two years ago and has not yet been replaced. Not for a lack of trying, but each new one I try is part of the machine. The field to choose from is so barren. The effects of what our government did is still cascading and hurting us.
The problem seems to be a Catch-22: the "good old doctors," like Dr. Drass, QUIT rather than bend the knee, but the "good old doctors" who, other than bending the knew, COULD still be Drass-like have found themselves untrusted!
Long, long ago in a land far away.......after the CDC had FINALLY decided that masks DID NOT WORK, we were told that we no longer needed to "mask"....FYI, mask should never be used as a verb! Anyway, I had a need to go to Urgent Care. When I walked in, everyone in the room was up against the walls, 10' (not inches) apart. One couple was there with their child, clutching him like that mother in the restaurant in the movie, The Birds, freaking out about the bird attacks, not wanting to hear any of the facts.
Nurse Ratchet, sitting at a table just inside the door told me I needed to "mask" and she handed me one. I responded by stating that the CDC is no longer requiring masks. She said, "Well, it's our "policy." I told her it was a pretty sad day when the CDC appears more cogent than, well, ANYONE!
When I walked out, all the soon-to-be patients were looking at me like I had just stripped naked and danced around the room. They're probably STILL "masking".... verb intended.
Mr Drass, many people, including myself, would be overjoyed to have you, or Nurse Patti or Mr Clark as a medical practitioner. I’m very blessed at 60 to see the dr only once or twice a year, and I generally go to the “doc-in-the-box” near me since my regular physician retired. The things that I see and hear young PAs and NPs saying are a little frightening. I’m happy to have a conversation about treatments, but what if I’m too ill or infirm to advocate for myself? And why do I have to protect myself from the people who in theory should “do no harm”?
Then He said to them, “Watch out and be on your guard against every form of greed, for not even when one has an abundance does his life consist of his possessions.”
He's just trolling...his day revolves around how many folks he can rile up. The "issue" is the excuse, never the reason...the reason is his need to feel superior and take pleasure in the angst he causes in others. I've found that it's best to just annotate "Troll" in the reply section and move on.
Pretty sure it is already sand. I’m as pro American as a person can get but I am only for our troops defending us not large corporations in their quest to take over the world via the CIA.
Iraq and Venezuela have already been conquered and looted.
Both of them are forced to put their oil money into US banks, and the US decides how much they can use and how they can use it. And it has to be sold in dollars. The US has already confiscated $8 billion of Venezuela's oil, and only gave $300 million as earthquake relief. So very generous.
Libya, I'm not sure. I do know that it did have the highest standard of living of all African countries, but is now a terrorist-infested hellhole that people risk their lives to escape. Way to go, Obama!
Be wary Christians going to war for greed against Iran. The draft is coming........
"Albert Pike had promised his Masonic allies in Europe that they would have three world wars to consolidate the world power of the Canaanites. We have now seen two of those world wars, and, as promised, the first world war was to set up a Communist regime, the second world war was to raise it to the status of a world power, and the third world war is planned to destroy both Communism and Christianity in a great orgy of annihilation. This coming war is intended to be the final death knell of the people of Shem; after its conclusion the Canaanites will reign unchallenged throughout the world."
Masonic Grand Master Albert Pike explained it all in 1871 as he laid out the plans for the World Wars:
"The First World War must be brought about in order to permit the Illuminati to overthrow the power of the Czars in Russia and of making that country a fortress of atheistic Communism.
"The Second World War must be fomented by taking advantage of the differences between the Fascists and the political Zionists. This war must be brought about so that Nazism is destroyed and that the political Zionism be strong enough to institute a sovereign state of Israel in Palestine.
"The Third World War must be fomented by taking advantage of the differences caused...between the political Zionists and the leaders of Islamic World. The war must be conducted in such a way that Islam and political Zionism mutually destroy each other.
"...Christianity, whose deistic spirits will from that moment be without compass or direction, anxious for an ideal, but without knowing where to render its adoration, will receive the true light through the universal manifestation of the pure doctrine of Lucifer, brought finally out in the public view." - Albert Pike's letter to Giuseppe Mazzini August 15, 1871
Scottish Rite Freemason Foster Bailey states that Masonry "is the descendant of, or is founded upon, a divinely imparted religion..." This religion he explains "...was the first United World Religion. Then came the era of separation of many religions and sectarianism. Today we are working again towards a World Universal Religion." ("The Spirit of Masonry", p.31)
Nazi Reichsmarschall Herman Goering explained war resistors:
“The people can always be brought to the bidding of the Leaders. That is easy.
All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same way in any country.” - Hermann Goering from the Nuremberg Trials 1946
And Muammar Gaddafi said:
“I think Americans are good. But America will be taken over and destroyed from inside by the Zionist Lobby. The Americans do not see this. They are getting decadent. Zionists will use this to destroy them.” - Muammar Gaddafi, Pittsburgh Press (8/3/1986) "Gaddafi, The Man The World Loves To Hate" by Marie Colvin (UPI)
America is under Zionist regime. Everyone knows this except Americans.
No you are not making that CDC t-shirt mask tutorial up. I remember seeing it. Confused. Then there was the hilarious memes that came from one small (ahem) Chinese woman who made one out of one of her bra cups. Who knew I had double protection right there every day! Then the hilarious sister-in-arms who tried it and posted a picture of what happens when women “gifted” like us actually tries it. It covered her whole head! 😜🤣🤣
I remember entering the Kroger store here without a mask, and was tracked down and asked to leave. I pulled out a bandana and asked the clerk to tie it in the back for me. She did, and that satisfied them, and I was able to breathe. Such nonsense we put up with.
I only wore a mask when I didn’t have the energy to deal with the idiots or my husband was not with me. If my husband was with me and I didn’t wear a mask I was fine. If he wasn’t with me anyone and everyone thought they could tell me what to do. 🤬 one time I had a huge man come up to me not wearing a mask and at the time I was not wearing a mask and he told me how impressed he was with me not wearing a mask. Said we have to stick together. I agreed and we walked away encouraging each other to stand up. Courage is contagious 💪🏽 he was huge and I am sure NO one approached him to chastise him. Crazy times
I wore one when my son was with me because it caused him so much anxiety if I didn't. But I also wore it under my nose, which caused looks. And anxiety in my son. I hated it all; so performative.
My daughter-in-law made her babies wear them in public. I was adamantly against that. She was trying to be good; she's changed a lot since then.
Ugh! It was a difficult time. My mom knew they were stupid but didn’t want the argument and she was in her 70’s. She said just go along to get a long Patti 😆 she knew I was never that kid. Definitely not that adult . I want things to make sense and the why 😂
The City of Madison, Wisconsin ran a public service announcement to advise people to STOP approaching Black people to ask them to move their masks over their noses because that was their culture.
Incidentally, horse shite is the City of Madison, Wisconsin's culture...
Yeah I definitely feel that being a petite woman had disadvantages in that regard :/ I still had to shop for groceries and wasn't going to get thrown out of the store. I hate getting my food online and didn't feel like I should be obligated to do so either. The whole thing was just such a train wreck >:(
Totally! My husband is not one to poke the bear but I sure in the hell am but sometimes didn’t have the energy to fight. Only was approached at a shoe store and was asked to leave. I will never return to that store. They were polite but they were also wrong. I should go back and ask them today how they feel about it but given the flag they post I’m sure I know
Courage IS contagious. An important reminder. The young man who saved the boy in Jeff’s reporting shows how important it is to recognize that fact, to remind us. My husband was tossed out of his gym for not masking while working out. They did not care that he could not breathe while masked.
It's interesting that so many people who couldn't breathe with masks were treated like this when Jeff's citation from the CDC literally says that they should not be used by people who are having difficulty breathing!!!
I complied. I wasn’t properly informed (just coming off a life saving surgery and some family tragedy, I had been disconnected from society for a long time). I was a rules follower and those were “rules”. I’m a good little student doing as I’m told. 🙄🤦🏼♀️ I hadn’t yet been given all the info that would wake me up. But boy, today? Not the same person. I imagine I have the courage to laugh in someone’s face if they require me to mask up. Back then it was more about “well if it makes you feel more comfortable, fine, I’m only here 10-15 mins …” and I’d use one. Feewings ruled the day.
The confusing part early on was being required to wear a mask to get service from ERs and urgent care centers, or my own doctor’s office. No mask? No dice. No service. No care. No compassion. Thrown out in the street. I found that shocking. (Unless they gave everyone proper N-95s, but they had masks that were made in China out of tissue paper)
So true. That summer of 2020 I came down with Shingles, and made an appointment at the local clinic. I was told I had to wear a mask to come in and to see the doctor. I was prepared. I had one of those thin ski mask type head coverings which allowed me to breathe and see. And being the curmudgeon I am, I stuck a Trump sticker to the back of it. They allowed it, and actually liked it. One never knows.
Like Masking!! The irony never stops! Like OSHA requires workers with a 6'lanyard tie off on a 3 foot platform, Or 3 points of contact on a ladder! To change a light bulb then takes minimum of 2 people, 2 ladders. or driving a truck with a bright safety vest on that reflects off the windshield so it impairs your vision. Policy requiring helicopter pilots and medical attendants to wear a 2.5lb crash helmet when about 90 percent of crashes are vertical impact, so you hit the ground at 10G's see what that does to your spine!! Should be optional, and the irony is the patient pays $50K and up for the ride and only gets a sheet!!!:):) So easy to find comedy and stupidity in so much.
I initially thought it was a case of "can't hurt, might help" and like you, figured 15-20 minutes was no big deal, because you do see medical professionals wearing them. I also thought it would be a thing for maybe a couple of weeks--not MONTHS to YEARS!!! >:( And once I dug into it and read about how masking works and all of the details, plus had some very scary experiences with shortness of breath and (one time at my nurse practitioner's for an appointment) high blood pressure (which I *never* have issues with!!), like you, in addition to my son's issues, I became very anti-mask and refused to wear them as much as possible (had to make an exception to be able to be with my mom while she was in the cancer unit at the hospital at the end of her life :( ).
I saw everyone wearing masks touching their noses and mouths through them all the time as well as seeing those with them down below their noses. That's when I figured out this was all a farce.
Juju, you've identified something in your "Feewings ruled the day."
We have been treated in the past decade or so to what life is like under a "rule of feelings" rather than of law. Feelings, almost by definition, don't have to make sense! And no two people can have the same exact feeling, again almost by definition, about any thing! It's a program for destroying any sense of commonality.
I didn't comply, and when told to put on a mask I simply replied I'd seen several employees who'd pulled their masks down under their noses, then said.... words I won't write here... and I was left along to get on with my shopping....
I ordered one of those clear plastic face shields on amazon to wear at the grocery store because they wouldn't let you in without a "face covering." So ridiculous. At least I could breathe!
I know a man who carried a Lone Ranger style eye mask with him. Whenever store personnel told him he had to wear a mask, he whipped out that mask and put it on, then strolled away leaving them staring after him, dumbfounded.
After walking through a BevMo for 20 minutes without one and no one saying anything, I was refused check out service by the manager who said they would not do business with anyone without a mask.
I miss the masks as it covered up all the leftist branch covidians faces. 😉 There's still hope as I'm in a blue/leftist area and the masks are coming back. I know I am being sarcastic but it's that or actually taking these people at face value. 😉😄
It was what woke me up and sent me down a long rabbit hole that actually led to …. Here! 🤣 If not for the comedically insane mask instructions I may not have noticed odd contradictions, studies that were banned, reports by sane doctors who flew to Substack to be heard. I followed one here, and lo and behold found Jeff. ❤️❤️ I’m a recovering knobheads anonymous. We meet on Thursdays.
Hi, Patti! We live on the crazy side of the Cascades. Whenever we hit I-90 to visit family in Eastern WA, once we get over Snoqualmie Pass, we feel as though a huge, oppressive weight has been lifted off our shoulders and we can breathe freely again. It is jarring (to us) to see people still wearing masks in their cars, or by themselves outside.
I researched how much atmosphere is around us (to figure out how diluted virus particles are in relation to the air around us) and found out the Earth has 5.5 QUADRILLION TONS of atmosphere surrounding us. Have you ever heard anyone refer to something as "parts per quadrillion"? Talk about statistically irrelevant!
Anyway, it is nice to know there is another person in this crazy state who saw through the madness in real time!
I loved one of the early comments I heard on a podcast about masks, and recognizing the size of the virus and porosity of all masks - that expecting a mask to stop the virus was like thinking a chain link fence could keep out mosquitos
There were so many Suzy Seamstresses making custom face diapers that cloth had to be rationed, along with dirty undershirts. I heard things got so bad the Clintons donated some more used underwear.
Pastor stayed 10'+ away from everyone even triple masked and changed masks not for the fact that they were wet as bacteria full but depending on the company he was keeping. I think his wife might have been allowed closer. Before 2020 they joked about him being a "germaphobe". Can you really be a Christian and a "phobe"?
The "make your own face mask" instructions, the dancing nurse videos, the stupid arrows on the grocery store floor...all of this would be laughable now IF so many people hadn't died and if those poor people dying in hospitals and nursing homes hadn't had to die alone without a family member because "rules." And of course, the relentless mockery and pressure on those of us who never bowed to their precious vax. I will NEVER forget the sheer cruelty, greed and power play that our own government and medical "professionals" foisted on us. Dark days in history indeed.
In 2020 Americans divided into two groups: Compliant and Skeptical. These groups have grown more divided as the Compliant became Brainwashed and the Skeptical became Anti Institutional (Awake). We live in two Worlds but often times, under one Roof.
It was rough!! The medical hostages! Ugh breaks my heart. I remember my brother calling me panicking he had Covid (he has an autoimmune dx also) I was shocked at his panicking. We FaceTimed. He had bought a pulse oximetry device like I had told him. His oxygen was on the lower side but everything else was fine. I told him if he goes to the hospital I can’t help him. I can’t get to him. He called frontline doctors. Got IVM. Did my ‘nursing orders’ and was fine. October to November 2021 I did so many home nursing visits I even printed out nursing orders to follow. Only one person had to send to the hospital and he survived. Ugh rough days/ nights. Nights were the worst. People would get in their heads with fear. 💔
I felt badly for so many that didn’t know how to navigate the resources. I was constantly sharing and repeating to get people information. I knew I had more resources than the average coming from healthcare. I kept my own husband home on oxygen. IV therapy. Meds around the clock with Covid. He should have been in the hospital but we pushed through it was a rough few weeks.
Ryder Williams is damn sure a hero. He's paid (a little) to be one every day. As he said, it's his job.
Something tells me he is good kid, one of a huge number in the US. I also suspect he has parents who raised him to meet the challenges of his job and his life. Great Americans, in other words.
The kind of Americans that piss off a lot of democrats, socialists, and cry-bullys. Go Ryder!
💯 it’s a great reminder there are so many good American kids out there. I for one super proud of the kid. So glad he’s a strong swimmer. I’m sure his mom’s heart aches watching that video ugh. I had a great youth employees for 3 years. His parents told him ‘if you see a need, fill the need’ I loved that I use it often with employees.
I am sorry about your mother. My completely vaccinated father died of a “breakthrough” infection in the fall of 2021. The hospital told me it was extremely rare. No one believed that he was vaccinated because they were sold on the 100% effective propaganda.
Right?! Or my sister's father in law whom they killed with their in-hospital mis-treatment of covid and wouldn't let family or priest in with him while he died? Glad they were yucking it up and having a fun dance party.
I'm so sorry for your loss as well. 💔 I often wonder what things would have been like had we don't nothing at all to "manage" covid. I truly believe we would have been MUCH better off!
Once walked maskless into a grocery store, there was an armed guard 'mask police'. With my best Jack Nicholson blank face I muttered "PTSD", received a shocked look, and was allowed to pass. Hope no one died as a result.
"The dumbest idea in American history came from the CDC."
I dunno. I think CDC had the dumbest TWO lines: that one, plus the "you're not a horse. stop it y'all!" That's definitely in the top 5.
And they wonder why nobody trusts them anymore. Some of the shit you believe while in the cult- or psyop-induced haze are sooo obviously bullcrap years later.
My dad had an expression he would use, “mox nix”. I just looked it up to see it derives from German phrase that sounds the same, and both mean “It doesn’t matter.” FDA,CDC, both were equally complicit in attempting to fool the public, in my humble opinion.
The Conspiracy Community has a good rule regarding staged shootings that is you have to wait about 5 days after the event for the videographers to go thru frame by frame and expose the staging and the screwups. But by then the masses have moved onto the next attention-grabbing headlines and they don't follow up on the shootings.
-Charlie's was easy right away because of the blood. The blood in the squib should have been bright red, not burgundy, ask any nurse. And we're being told he was shot from the front but we're being shown an EXIT WOUND! (Same thing with the 'exploding mic theory, its still an EXIT wound!)
-And WHAT? No crime scene? Where were the forensic investigators, the bullet trajectory lazers? They had that set broken down and GONE within hours and the whole place CONCRETED OVER the next day!!!
-And what about all those people with their cell phones filming it, where are all those videos??? hmmm...
Wrong color blood, EXIT wound, no forensic investigation, and no crowd videos and they concreted the whole site over the next day?!??
My son saved a kid, about 11 years old at the time, and his father, who went out to save the kid and got into trouble himself. My son was paddleboarding and retrieved both of them pretty much at the same time. The crazy thing is that the 2 were actually our new neighbors who had just moved in directly across the street from us. They always reminded me of how grateful they were to my son. Made this dad feel good.
Shameful confession: I made masks for my hubs and myself out of old t shirts, following a guide very similar to the one in the post. But we only wore them in places that had strict enforcement and where we could not avoid going, promise. Later on I discovered the ones on Etsy that looked "real" from a distance but were really porous up close, and we used those when necessary. I got braver as the sham went on, but in the early days there was so much uncertainty, and we succumbed (briefly) to the fear.
No need to be ashamed. The propaganda and pressure were relentless, and you didn't hurt anyone. Being an ornery troubleshooter and often accused of being a disruptor, I saw the stupid immediately, but I went along with it when in public to avoid confrontations. Then there were those on the other extreme, harassing people who wore masks. This led to some cancer patients undergoing chemo and wearing a mask when in public to be harassed. My attitude is if it makes one feel more secure, wear one and both sides should leave others alone.
I made masks also. No way I was going to contribute to ocean pollution by wearing disposable masks.
Also, I cut slits in it so that I could breathe better. And, like you, I only wore it when I was in places with terrorized employees who were convinced that they would die if someone came in without a mask. They were forced to be there, so no way I was going to argue with their brainwashing.
I am still so unbelievably *ticked off* about the mask BS, my son had to do Zoom school for a semester until I could take him out of school to homeschool him because the stupid (supposedly red state Republican) governor and even more stupid and evil "health" department head mandated masks for kids at school. And my poor kid was pulling it off all the time because he said he couldn't breathe with it on. His worthless doctor refused to write an exemption, saying that it wasn't "bad enough" to merit one (which is funny that he was even able to tell that because he never bothered to examine my son nor even TALK to him about it!) and my son was apparently just supposed to suffer "for the good of the community." Such absolute BS!!! >:( All while many people who were mandating these or encouraging the mandates KNEW full well that they didn't do a thing to help mitigate the spread of disease or reduce risk. >:(
Agree! We pulled all of our grandkids out to homeschool because of this mask bullsh*t. Blue state- 2 years!!!! Those things were filthy rags and I would pick up a grandson outside ( across the parking lot) and yell to who ever could hear. Take that filthy useless mask off as soon as I got my grandson.
Good Morning friends. I have a racoon problem. One has somehow got inside the roof and was above the ceiling yesterday. Apparently there is a hole in the roof over the soffit over the back porch. I am trying to find someone to repair that this week. I can no longer put up the extension ladder and climb up to check it. I set a trap outside, hoping to relocate it away from here. This morning there was a possum in the trap, so I let it go. Racoons can cause house fires, which is what happened to a neighbors house about ten years ago.
Other than that, I'm looking forward to Promethean Action's live stream in a half hour.
So the same thing happened to my parents. Dad was in his late 80s and would not listen to sense and kept getting up on the ladders and making more and more draconian repairs to where the raccoon was getting in. Nothing worked. Those things are strong! Just kept peeling back whatever dad bolted down. Anyway, he finally stuck an old radio in the ceiling where the critter was living and turned on a rock station full blast. And it worked. A week or so later and no more racoon. Dad was pretty deaf by then so didn't bother him much. Not so sure about mom though.
My wife is an expert trapper, with our have-a-heart style cage trap. She's caught tons of racoons, skunks, and possums over the years, along with feral and non-feral cats. Possums we always let go, they don't seem to cause a problem. Her target is the racoons, which we love but just cause too many problems, including biting our dog once, and feral cats. Skunks are a mixed bag - most we've released, but one year there were so many we had to relocate those too. Cat food and ham are 2 baits that have worked well. Cover the trap with a sheet or something for transport. I always worry the critter, when released, will turn and bite me on the leg. They never do - they always just take off. If you don't have a pick-up truck, transport might be a problem.
I hate 2020 with a passion...and the intro story on today's newsletter triggered this deep hatred I have towards it. The stupid fake science, the sheep just following along, the fear mongering, the finger pointing against those who were against the manufactured science, the possibility of losing your job while being the sole breadwinner, injections, id cards, everything....it was garbage year and the few years after. It gave me anxiety and mental issues that I am still trying to get rid of. I hate all of it and those who pushed the lie.
Same here! As soon as I read about those times, I'm immediately transported back with a visceral, burning anger and frustration. I'm glad more and more of it is coming into the light of truth though!
lol, my yearly gross income sits at full time federal minimum wage. ~$14K.
the Infernal Revenue Suckers expect 25% off of the top of that, and I am no longer eligible for the EIC as I do not have an eligible aged child to qualify me anymore.
the migrants can suck it. they get more money from the government for NOT working than I earn as a wage slave.
👏Thank you Dr Clark for being courageous and speaking truth! We need more like you not less!
"...backstage at a play." Nailed it, B-F.
I was fired for refusing to wear a mask in the dr office, and I just said, call me when this nonsense is over, but a week later, I got a letter saying because I refused to wear a mask, I would not be allowed back in the office. Ever.
Wow. What insanity.
Wow. That is just beyond the pale!
I was made to wait in my car if I had a fever, but I could remove the mask in the exam room. I don't have a doctor anymore. I quit going after COVID.
Same. I do see my eye doctor and my independent holistic NP but never went back to the other doctors (family doctor and ob-gyn). I trusted them but conditionally--and they lost my trust with the way they behaved during Covid.
I'm sorry the system lost another good one but it seems like you had a good run with 45 years.
Totally agree! Got to say though, all these Covid Karens should be embarrassed and admit their foolishness. Instead they now cowardly say NOTHING.
...They still hide behind their masks....
Ugh
I appreciate your honesty and courage, and sorry we lost a good physician to the stupidity of the Covid nonsense.
I agree. There are few who are not part of the system and just parrot what they are told to say and do what the hierarchy tells them.
The problem seems to be a Catch-22: the "good old doctors," like Dr. Drass, QUIT rather than bend the knee, but the "good old doctors" who, other than bending the knew, COULD still be Drass-like have found themselves untrusted!
Thank you for your years of good service.
Hero ^
Mr Drass, many people, including myself, would be overjoyed to have you, or Nurse Patti or Mr Clark as a medical practitioner. I’m very blessed at 60 to see the dr only once or twice a year, and I generally go to the “doc-in-the-box” near me since my regular physician retired. The things that I see and hear young PAs and NPs saying are a little frightening. I’m happy to have a conversation about treatments, but what if I’m too ill or infirm to advocate for myself? And why do I have to protect myself from the people who in theory should “do no harm”?
Dr Drass, you served your community well for 45 years. It is heartbreaking to know of the loss of a good dr to the medical community.

Does that "greed" cover attacking other countries? You know, the ones selling oil for non-US dollars. Iraq, Libya, Venezuela, Iran, Russia.
I’m just curious… if you’re so anti-American, why do you waste your time reading this very pro-American post? Honest question.
He's just trolling...his day revolves around how many folks he can rile up. The "issue" is the excuse, never the reason...the reason is his need to feel superior and take pleasure in the angst he causes in others. I've found that it's best to just annotate "Troll" in the reply section and move on.
Iraq needs to be turned into sand!
Pretty sure it is already sand. I’m as pro American as a person can get but I am only for our troops defending us not large corporations in their quest to take over the world via the CIA.
You're 20 years late. We're attacking different countries now.
If that makes any difference to you, that is.
Mrs. RW
Troll
Iraq and Venezuela have already been conquered and looted.
Both of them are forced to put their oil money into US banks, and the US decides how much they can use and how they can use it. And it has to be sold in dollars. The US has already confiscated $8 billion of Venezuela's oil, and only gave $300 million as earthquake relief. So very generous.
Libya, I'm not sure. I do know that it did have the highest standard of living of all African countries, but is now a terrorist-infested hellhole that people risk their lives to escape. Way to go, Obama!
Mrs. RW
This doesn't sound like you, Mrs. RW! Has someone else been able to access your computer and write his/her thoughts and sign your name?
Eustace Mullins
The Curse of Canaan

We have been in WWIII for decades, it has been taking down Communism and Christianity! Hopefully what we will have left is a GREAT WORLD!!!!
🤦🏻♀️
My daughter showed up for Thanksgiving dinner with a mask on her 6 yr old daughter and herself!
I should go back and ask them today how they feel about it but given the flag they post I’m sure I know
Love that!
And sneezing and coughing with them on, kids in schools dropping them and having to put them back on, it was all so stupid!
I always pulled mine below my nose.
I ordered one of those clear plastic face shields on amazon to wear at the grocery store because they wouldn't let you in without a "face covering." So ridiculous. At least I could breathe!
I ordered a metal mesh mask with rhinestones. It was like a nano chain link fence & I could breathe. I can’t tell you how many compliments I got!!!
Same thing happened to me at a Dig Five sporting goods store. Turned back at door. Didn’t return for 4 years.
I know a man who carried a Lone Ranger style eye mask with him. Whenever store personnel told him he had to wear a mask, he whipped out that mask and put it on, then strolled away leaving them staring after him, dumbfounded.
I made one out of gauze material. My son asked my daughter to make him one out of mesh. We wore them.
🤣🤔😡 Follow the arrows like you're at a fair going for a ride and stay 6' apart NOT LIKE at the fair!!
After walking through a BevMo for 20 minutes without one and no one saying anything, I was refused check out service by the manager who said they would not do business with anyone without a mask.
I haven't been into a BevMo since.
I’m in a blue state and yes they are still on. Masks wearing is not as heavy but still happening
I’m in NY -upstate not insane NYC-people wearing at work, driving alone, walking…outside….alone.. 🤯
I’m in central Washington and we are not that blue but clearly enough walking idiots.
It’s a daily struggle to not scream at them 🤯🤦🏼♀️
😂 yes! Hold back
Mrs. "the Knife"
I had my mask with me throughout the pandemic. I tied it to my purse strap where I could point to it when asked about it. It worked for me
I loved one of the early comments I heard on a podcast about masks, and recognizing the size of the virus and porosity of all masks - that expecting a mask to stop the virus was like thinking a chain link fence could keep out mosquitos
There were so many Suzy Seamstresses making custom face diapers that cloth had to be rationed, along with dirty undershirts. I heard things got so bad the Clintons donated some more used underwear.
That’s a funny visual 😂
So true!! I see the divisions in this country today as PERMANENT. Sadly, I don't ever see us uniting again.
Those people who continue to get their "information" from the TV every day will never see the light.
And keep voting DSA:):)
I too got IVM from a Frontline MD. That was either late 2020 or early 2021. Never took the shot.
Plexiglass shield between you and the checker at the grocery stores. So stupid!!!
Amen. But we are called to forgive them.
And die in a senseless war. Great recruitment poster for heroes to die for greed. Life guards save people all the time.
Troll
the dancing tik tok nurses and docs really cheered me up while I watched my mother die from her Fauci shot
This makes me so angry. I am not over it. I want accountability! CRIMES AGAINST HUMANITY.
RIP my beloved sister 8/11/23. Turbo cancer.
I'm so sorry for your loss as well. 💔 I often wonder what things would have been like had we don't nothing at all to "manage" covid. I truly believe we would have been MUCH better off!
Right??? It was absolutely egregious, the horror that they put so many people through!! >:(
They should have done their dances to this song:

Good morning all! Have a blessed day!
💃❤️
Haha Juju. It’s so funny I was looking at my phone and C&C just popped up. Someone said it the other day, it’s like a goal to be first.
Morning Karmy.
I believe it was the FDA, not the CDC, who had the "you're not a horse .." line.
My dad had an expression he would use, “mox nix”. I just looked it up to see it derives from German phrase that sounds the same, and both mean “It doesn’t matter.” FDA,CDC, both were equally complicit in attempting to fool the public, in my humble opinion.
Right! No trust and no love lost. 😡
The lifeguard honored was for the Gen Z crowd disillusioned by the Genocide and Charlie Kirk death.
Video manufactured by the Trotskyites having lost the Kirk psyop.
AND THEN... there's the holovid:

My granddad was in his 80’s and climbed his windmill to repair. My uncle found out and yelled at his dad for being a dumbass.
We set a trap for whatever it was under our porch causing our dogs to go nuts.
Then we didn't see one of our hens for 2 days, until we found her in the trap. Probably shouldn't have used grain for bait.
She's OK, but I'm sure has PTSD.

Same!!!! >:(
PSALM 51:12-13, 14-15, 18-19
Restore to me the joy of your salvation,
and sustain in me a willing spirit.
Then I will teach transgressors your ways,
and sinners will return to you.
Deliver me from bloodshed, O God,
O God of my salvation,
and my tongue will sing aloud of your deliverance.
O Lord, open my lips,
and my mouth will declare your praise.
Do good to Zion in your good pleasure;
rebuild the walls of Jerusalem,
then you will delight in right sacrifices,
in burnt offerings and whole burnt offerings;
then bulls will be offered on your altar.
lol, my yearly gross income sits at full time federal minimum wage. ~$14K.
the Infernal Revenue Suckers expect 25% off of the top of that, and I am no longer eligible for the EIC as I do not have an eligible aged child to qualify me anymore.
the migrants can suck it. they get more money from the government for NOT working than I earn as a wage slave.
